It took a bit of setting up have had problems trying to view it on the app a lot of trouble i have to keep opening and closing the app till I can view the cameras. But good for the money
This equipment was pretty straightforward to setup, It also has very good quality picture. I would have liked to give it a five, but it’s early days yet.
Received camera quickly and although there was a problem with one of the wires, this was resolved with a call to the supplier, very happy with both quality and after sales service.
I bought the 4 camera version of this kit a month or so ago.. to record the fox in my mother’s garden, But I was so impressed with the system I bought a second for myself..

I have experience with a number of different camera types and DVR’s.
I am genuinely impressed with this kit good quality cameras and good night vision also a reliable DVR.
I can not comment on it’s motion detection and online facilities as I do not use them, But I highly recommend this system

Easy to use once hardware is fitted, not sure everybody will be able to fit the hardware as requires big ladder, impacts drills and other specialist tools that most people may not have available.
That being said picture quality is really good and the mobile app works well.

I installed the whole system by myself, with no hassle. 5MP picture quality is excellent with crisp imaging. Metal casing seems quite sturdy. 18m long cables provide sufficient reach around the house. Mobile application is quite snappy and responsive. I had tried wireless systems however the response time was not shorter than 5-10 seconds. However, this system provides live view with a very minor delay, around 1-2 seconds. I am quite satisfied with the quality and practicality of the system. Please note that you need to buy an additional HDD if you want to play your recordings. The HDD was easy to install, all power and data cables are already connected in your VCR. No need to buy additional cables.

Wanted an affordable CCTV recorder that didn’t require a cloud subscription. This was easy to install and set-up. Daytime picture quality is excellent, night time quality is good. Playback works well and is easy to use. The user interface is not modern but is functional and easy to navigate. The app was also easy to install and set-up, and works well on iPhone. We recently went away on holiday and we could live stream the CCTV feed to check in. Overall, we’re really pleased with the purchase – especially given the price and easy set-up.

Does exactly what it should, good quality picture but advise you set it up in a spare room as it is quite noisy, especially noticeable late at night when there is no noise outside. Like trying to get to sleep next to a snorer!
Good quality for the price added x2 cameras easy to install and set up.only problem I had was the xmeye app used a lot of data if you want to veiw on mobile phone etc probably ok if you have unlimited data. Would recommend sansco systems for the small extra wish I’d bought 8 channel

Good camera to be fair. Easy to install but write down your password before you forget it. I emailed the team and within 3 hours they had me back online… Cant complain about them. Also any questions I asked there were back withing hours.
Picture quality is a 7/8 out of 10 for me it has SD and HD but you get what you pay for.
Night vision is the same, you can make it out but try zooming in on a face then the face is a little distorted but it’s clear enough.
I’ve not set up motion detection as yet but I will when I get time

This unit was easy to set up, and the picture quality is very good; including the night-vision feed.
Also worth mentioning is the exceptional (and I use this word intentionally) assistance I received from CCTV_Channels’ customer support. I had had a compatibility issue with another camera (bought from them). I e-mailed them to query the settings / a potential connectivity issue and, over the course of three days, they offered ongoing advice and support; ‘going the extra mile’, as it were. They have also since arranged for a suitable, replacement camera to be provided. Such attention to customer satisfaction is becoming rarer these days – hence this review is intended to cover both the product… and CCTV_Channels’ response to my query. Very happy to recommend on both counts.

Setup was pretty easy all plug and play,the instructions you get was understandable enough so breezed through that part and was up and running within 30 mins after first mounting the cameras.
The part where you connect to the app through a smartphone was a little more taxing but not too bad.
Motion is sensed really quickly and written to the hard disc,iv had to use the hardrive on a few occasions when neibours have had there cars hit or keyed and has provided footage no problem,although number plates are a tad unrecognisable the further away they are which is ok seen as it’s only a 2mp camera system.
Overall I would reccoment this as a nice camera system which doesn’t break the bank to protect your property..
Really didn’t know what to order after looking into getting camera for the 1st time, or if this would be any good as it was pretty cheap, the only thing it was missing was the hard drive (as stated) and I already had a 1TB drive spare so used that (also need a monitor/tv to view using if haven’t thought of it via VGA or HDMI), it was very easy to setup and use, hardest part was drilling through walls to pass the cables through but that is nothing to take off the product itself. To be honest I am very pleased with the end result, the box and camera are quite small and there is plenty of length on the cables supplied and the quality is extremely good and clear especially for the price paid – very happy!
It is a good product and the cameras record continuously so you will have at least 9 days of video history stored on the device. The only negative is that the IP address is tricky when first setting up but YouTube videos show you how to do it.
There are some issues. The cameras do not have good night vision. You need the Super FHD cameras. I brought two extra SANSCO Super FHD 1080p Security CCTV Dome Cameras. These ones have good night vision. Also, rain will set off the motion detection. Other camera systems have this problem as well and so it’s a problem for any brand that you buy. I am happy with it as it does what I need.
Easy to install and set up with the “set up wizard”. Cameras we’re easy to fix in place with the built in mounting bracket. Cabling was well labeled for fitting. Night vision is black and white, but very clear. Day time colour hd is very sharp. Video playback is simple to use either on an hd tv and hdmi cable or remotely using the app. Altogether a very good product. (I haven’t used the motion detection)

Very good quality cameras night vision is very good far better than the other camera we had. Picture quality is excellent does the job nicely. Fast dispatched i did have a small issue with one of the cameras but after contacting customer support who were very helpful and are going to dispatch a new camera will update when it arrives. Overall a good product for the price.
I bought this on December 1 2019 and fitted straight away, its been working perfectly till now and found the camera is showing a very pale purple, so had to take down the back one to replace the front. So NOT so happy and it’s not been a year ye
This product has done exactly what needed after my car tyres got slashed outside my property, I needed to feel safe leaving it, unfortunately one of the cameras did not work on night vision after numerous times trying everything, I emailed the company with a swift reply and advise, they were happy to replace the broken camera for me, I received the replacement camera quickly and all is working, thankyou
Perfect for home security. A great price at the time of purchase and can be viewed on mobile devices in real time. Only issue was a faulty cable but that was very quickly solved by the support team.

I’m very happy with the picture quality and it was so easy to set up.
You will need a monitor to use this system and not a lap top.
I had this set up quickly and picture wise it worked perfectly on my TV, however, after trying two of my own hard drives it did not start recording, I could hear them spinning and I had formatted them but still nothing. I thought it would be unfair to return it as it may be the drives so I ordered a good quality 1tb drive and right enough after a quick format the small tape icon appeared, for the price this is extremely good value, very long cables and you even get a mouse. The daytime picture is very good, I have now tried it at night and it’s very good quality and easy to make out details in a lit area, although its black and white.
So far so good.
Note – I don’t intend to connect to the internet so basic set up could not have been easier. Thanks
Update July 2022 – still working perfectly
I bought a 250GB internal storage device to record, does not need a separate SATA cable as the machine is ready to connect to the internal storage. It takes about 15 mins. for the machine to sort out it has the internal storage
and about 16 hours to format the 250GB which you have to do first to enable recording. I have not connected
the internet or the phone. The picture is great and it is a very simple set up, separate power to the machine and
each camera, mouse connects to the back of the machine, slightly shorter cable than normal to it, and connect
to a tv through a HDMI, which is not included.
Used it for a short time so far but it is great and I totally recommend it.

Got these cameras and they worked fine then the picture went grainy.. so i emailed sansco who walked me through a troulbeshot.. it didnt resolve the problem… so they are now sending out 2 nrand new cameras no questioned asked.. 5* customer service
A very good system for the price. Easy to install. Instructions brief. Be careful not to try and change the picture resolution. It can mess the dvr up needing some assistance. Technical support very good and good customer service helped sort my problem very efficiently.

We bought this product after our car got damaged. Excellent value for money. It comes with two cameras and we are only using one at the moment but the quality is excellent. Easy to set up and even has an app that you can download so you can check when you are out.
After a problem with my DVR which was replaced straight away this system for the money is brilliant. Wired the camera’s in very easily and when all was put together worked perfectly. Compared to my ip camera’s there are 100% better with a wider viewing angles. I got a remote for it and switching between camera’s is a doddle. Wish it had the automatic switching between cameras with the software. The cost of a SSD hard drive for this was ok also. Havent tried to put them on my mobile yet. and get the hard drive included pack if you’re not technical minded. Overall for the cost I would recommend this system to anyone.
I brought this product after searching for it on amazon. The price was very good compared to other systems out there. However I was not expecting the quality I got. Initially I was going to pay a qualified installer to set it up for me. However when the box arrived and I started looking through the instructions I decided to have a go myself. Within half an hour it was set up and the app installed on my phone. The day and night picture is brilliant, the infa red is particularly good. The system just plugs into your hdmi cable to your tv. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is after a home/work cctv system.
Excellent picture quality in both day and night, although some lighting may be needed to enhance the picture at night. A streetlamp outside my house does the job nicely. Easy to set up and use the basics bit i havnt been able to set up email alerts or motion recording yet.

Very simple to install, comes with everything you need to set up, also the mobile app is really good you can view anywhere in the world in HD or SD. Also amazing customer services if you have any questions they respond really quickly
It’s ok. Beware of placing the cameras anywhere near central heating vents. It picks up heat sources. So motion detection is continually red on playback. I found reducing detection to middle rectified this.
Otherwise a perfectly good way of keeping an eye on your dodgy neighbours.

Easy to instal, cables long enough from camera to reach dvr inside house, great picture quality, app on phone means I can access my cameras anywhere in the world and take still photos,hd or normal view and infra red at night, dvr records when motion sensors are activated then overwrites itself when hard drive is full, dvr needs to be hardwired to your router for app to work.
his is a good little system. picture not to bad either. the instructions are not much good, but you can down load them off the web. still setting this up with the settings, but getting there. so far so good. would recommend.

Bought this camera on a budget after my cars tires were slashed, arrived very quickly and set up was easy! Had a minor issue where one of the cameras night vision stopped working, messaged SANSCO, replied within hours and have sent out a new camera! The picture quality is great and can also download an app and watch your house from where ever you are.
Great system and easy to work once used to the operating system. Had a problem with a camera that stopped working after a week but customer service sorted this and sent a new camera the next day. Fantastic service, I highly recommend the product and the company. If you are looking for a simple CCTV system you found it and the phone app works very well. Would be good if it came with a masonry drill bit but I’m being picky now. Worth buying.
I am having a problem with a camera cable and the payback picture quality! Have attached a photo of my monitor to show camera1 very pink camera2 shown perfect with an old cable from my last system.

so I looked a quite a few different CCTV and landed on this which had a lot of good reviews and the price seemed really reasonable! It is fairly difficult to set up and it doesn’t come with any really instructions (it come with a two page pamphlet that’s it ! Once set up it is good!! So it does have a cheap feel to and you do notice it when your using it but I don’t really care ! Overall I think it’s great product well worth the money! Picture quality is very good a lot better then what I expected!!
Hi, I bought this as my car and a number of the cars on my street have been keyed. I have looked at a number of cameras on Amazon but I highly recommend this camera. Very easy to set up and picture quality is very good. It is also easy to use and navigate through. Definitely, recommend this product!
That said, extremely happy with the system: I elected to connect it up in my loft – easier to run the cables to the outside cameras and used a wifi extender and connected the DVR via a short ethernet cable.
Installation is pretty straightforward – there is a small diagram with the instructions and it is easy to miss!
Installed the app on iPhones and Android
The instructions say to leave out the password – makes me wonder about security issues from outside ‘bad actors’; I ‘found’ the camera using the search function on the app (rather than following the instructions where I kept getting an error) and it works fine . . . and because there is no password associated with it, presumably anyone with an app could search for the camera and look at the feed. As there is no password involved I guess anyone with the right app could look at my camera.
Anyhow, overall am extremely happy and in the future would probably purchase a higher quality cameras with a wider field of view as the system can support 4 cameras
PS I had a question about whether I needed to free up space on the 1TB hard drive, posted a question and also found a number for isansco product support; I rang it and it rang out but within 10min a representative from the company called and answered my questions and talked me through the correct recording configuration (basically you just leave it on the factory settings and the hard drive will fill up and then erase the oldest recordings; also don’t change the settings for alarm or movement as there is a possibility you could miss some ‘action’ – just leave it on record all the time and you will be able to see previous recordings). Also said there are higher quality and wider angle cameras coming out later. There you go, had to write this up as I was impressed someone took the time to call me and explain their produc
Easy to install and set up. Only drawback is length of the cable on the cameras to go through the wall which is pretty tight. Plenty of cable included to run inside the house. Once set up works very well and picture quality is good day and night. Easy to set up on phone with push alerts.
Update: I received new leads and mouse the day after I reported the problems to SANSCO and the system is now working perfectly.
I purchased this system in june last year. worked perfect until before Christmas when dvr failed . I contacted sansco and their customer service is fantastic. I returned the dvr with power cables. I did not tell them this and they sent back a new dvr .but when I told them this they sent new power cable and camera splitter within 2 days.the person I was in communication with was XIA and could not have been more helpful. deserves a raise. purchased 2 more cameras and system works perfect now. thanks agai
I have had this system since 2018, the manufacture did replace the unit however it failed about 2 months ago and iv tried everything to get it back online.
The DVR will now keep switching itself on and off and I can’t edit any settings as it freezes then shuts down.

Easy to set up and easy to use, good picture quality in the day and at night. Good customer support, which I had to use because I’d forgotten my password. If your looking for a decent security system at a decent price this is the one to buy.
he cameras are great quality during the day and night time is good. had them over a year now and still working great. the best part is the after care service. contacted seller as made a password and forgot it. seller got back very quickly and gave me the master reset codes very fast. would recommend and will defiantly use again thanks.
Arrived promptly, and was the best packaging I have ever had from any item, packaging was made to measure. Clearly the supplier has invested in ensuring no damage in transit.
So simple to install, (bungalow) most difficult bit was getting the cable through the eaves in the ideal location for one of the cameras due to pitch of the roof. It was then a simple case of running the cables throughly the loft and down to the DVR. I have installed it in a bedroom wardrobe, and ran an Ethernet cable through the loft to my broadband box. Bought the Ethernet cable from a well known DIY store along with the cable ends. I also ordered a 1T hard drive, again easy to fit into the DVR. The ribbon cable was already in the DVR to connect to the hard drive and the hard drive came with the 4 screws to secure it inside. No special tools required, just a small cross-head screwdriver. I bought a pack of extra cables, and used them, but doubt most would need them for the standard detached house.
Picture quality is spot on both in day and night, but don’t put it to close to any external security lighting as this will reduce quality in darkness. DVR was simple to set up, just plug it all in as per the easy set up details (provided) and all came on the TV when I selected the HDMI mode. I have just used an old 19″ flat screen tv which is about 8 years old, and was about to donate to charity. I keep the TV off as it is in a cupboard, but is there just in case.
Set up on mobile device, was again straight forward. Set up instructions easy to follow.
Can’t comment on durability, but everything seems pretty robust. The cameras have a bit of weight to them considering there size.
Point of note; I ran the cable FROM the camera, TO the DVR, but the cable reel is wound for running DVR to camera. So be careful not to make a “snakes wedding” if requiring to unravel especially in a cramped loft space.
I only bought 2 cameras, thus have 2 of the 4 channels still available, but not for much longer. Will be getting another 2 from SANSCO very soon.
got this for my son as his car was vandalised in his drive , recieved package but the disc was snapped in half , i take it that this was just the instructions but he installed it and is working fine , only one problem , his old dad (me) didn,t realise you need a hard drive to record it , i am waiting his instructions to see if he is wanting it ordered or he is going to buy local , but up to now everything is fine , many thanks

Cameras are great, but the system keeps resetting trying to format the hard drive and I’ve tried 2 separate hard drives and having the same problem. Any ideas?
The quality was great but one of the ports in the back of the DVR only shows black and white. I know its the DVR as I checked other camras that worked In Colour. I’m struggling to contact the seller.
Excellent piece of kit for a small home cctv set up. Very easy to set it up. Had it up and running within two hours of opening the box despite fairly lengthy cable runs. Just one thing I would say, it’s a shame that there is no way of taking the connectors off of the ends as then you would not need to drill such big holes in the wall. I had to use a 20mm masonry bit to get both cables through the wall.
For the money, I am no expert but I dont see how these cameras and DVR box for the price can be beaten, what more could you want they are excellent. The software allows you to show multiple cameras if you have them added, adjust motion control or for the cameras to activate when a home alarm goes off. The infrared (IR) light for the camera allows night vision to cover way across the road to the garages which is over 35. In day time the image is clear and can identify license plates and faces. Excellent excellent product.

If you want to feel safe and protected but don’t want to spend over 600 on CCTV you don’t need too. These are absolutely perfect. They have helped Police with crimes that have been committed outside of my property and they have commented on how high the quality is. Night vision is equally as clear and you can see what you need to see. I have experienced no problems with these cameras.
Please note you will need to buy a monitor to display the recorded images if you haven’t already got one.

In windows 10 I only managed to access it via Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox didnt work.
On Android, the app is buggy, especially if you dont have a good network/wifi connection, when you are disconnected, you are not able to resume, you need to kill the app, and then come again.
I bought this chair to go in the kitchen, it arrived promptly and was packed well . A little patience required in putting it together though the instructions were clear enough and it did go together without problems resulting in a nice little chair that isn’t flimsy and is mobile and responsive without being excessively so . I would say it is good value for the price and although I wouldn’t want to sit in it for hours at a time it is ideal for the purpose for which it was purchased.
