I find the timer a bit difficult but that is probably just me!!!
The heater itself is fabulous and totally portable once put together.

Small heater but gives a good amount of heat. Used in our conservatory and it’s fabulous. Use the timer so we can have the room warm before going in and it’s brilliant.
After 18 months the heater however failed.
The company DOMU were absolutely fantastic.
I emailed them of the problem (fuse had gone), advised we had replaced fuse and it happened again immediately. They responded within 20 minutes and asked us to package item up and click on a link to arrange a collection.
Once the item was received by them they advised a replacement which I had asked for would be sent.
Within 4/5 days we had a new heater and old one collected by local courier.
Fabulous customer service along with a fabulous heater.

We have been using this heater for over a year now, and I have never encountered an issue with it. We live in a small flat and can easily roll it around to follow us wherever we need heat, which makes it cheaper for us than to heat all rooms at all times. The timer is excellent, still works as it should. Just remember to plug the heater directly into a wall socket to make sure it works as intended. Also remember, if you have any cut offs of electricity or the like to set your timer again as it obviously can’t count the time if not connected. Great product!

first year of use seemed fine- started using it this winter and noticed that the plug was overheating so used it on low first to heat gradually. didn’t really make any difference – started melting the plug so have had to bin it as it seems to be dangerous. Wont buy this make again.

It’s a brilliant heater and easy to move with the wheels no more waking up to a cold house.

The feet are easily to attach to complete the radiator. Once it has run a few hours, the smell of a new radiator is gone and it warms up the room nicely.

The heater is well constructed, very easy to assembled with a excellent finish.
My studo flat is nice and warm within 10 minutes on full power and only requires to be set on half power to maintain a comfortable temperature even on a cold day.
This type of oil filled radiator is much, much cheaper to run than economy 7 storage heating which has little controllability and can’t be turned off completely on the milder days.
Between saving a lot of money and environmental waste due to using less valuable resources plus the excellent quality of said heater I personally highly recommended this product.

Good solid product which works fast and heats the room up as expected. Timer is good and easy to set up. Power output switches are handy as well, another way of adjusting heat output. Easy to assemble the wheels and move across the floor. One minor item, there should be a handle on the other side, opposite the controls side, so to help lift it.

This radiator does what you want it to, and is easily moved about. Heat output was excellent. What made me want to additionally comment was the excellent customer service of the supplier, DOMU U.K. we had to return a radiator after we had got rid of packaging etc. The supplier sent a replacement radiator very quickly and we used that packaging to return. Hassle free and brillia

I ordered two of these items as the weather is turning colder. One of them failed after a short time but contacting the customer services team allowed a fast and very helpful swap of the faulty heater for a new one with no problems or issues. What a great company 😀 Highly recommend using these guys if you are in the market for an oil heater.
The Product itself is very good I have been using it as a heater in my office for a while now and the timer allows it to turn on and off automatically at the coldest times of the day. It is easy to construct as all you need to do is put the feet onto the heater with wingnuts so no tools needed. very nice 😀

We are very pleased with these radiators.
For the price, they are a good value. We had one from a year or so ago and this year, with the problems in gas supply, we decided to go with electric to boost our warmth without using gas.
We simply close the doors and turn them on. They regulate themselves as far as when the room is warm, by turning off until the room begins to cool. My husband works at his desk in a 15 by 17 room…even the gas didn’t keep that room warm before. So, yes, pleased.
Pro – quickly heats up the room, cuts itself off, easy to dust to keep clean
Cons – the wheels are a bit bothersome but work well enough, for me the timer function is a pain…if you are familar with that timer device, you won’t see this as a con necessarily.
Bottom line – Strong value for this price.

Can’t fault this company. Bought my heater just over a year ago.. I’ve used it pretty much every day for my small studio. Then one day it just stopped working. I wrote to the company having read of other users doing the same- they literally replied within the hour, and by 48hrs I had a brand new replacement and someone had come to collect the old one. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this to heat either my shed during the winter or my ‘office’ work space during the COVID pandemic both of which are small spaces and have been really pleased with how it works, it heats up quite quickly and gives a good heat; I really like the timer and this has been used to wan the office up before the start of the day and switch off at the end. The manoeuvrability I guess is okay not that I have had to move it around much which is probably a good thing as it is quite heavy

It’s easy to move around even though it doesn’t have a handle. Delivery was super quick. We bought it as we are having building work done so have no heating in the back of the house. It definitely takes the chill off but as it’s a very large space I didn’t expect it to heat the room, I would expect it to on a smaller room. We’re going to use it in the conservatory when the building works done.

Bought this in 2017 and its still going strong. Looked down at it fondly today and felt compelled to write a review for this little workhorse of a radiator. Has kept me snug working from home all through lockdown, without having to heat the whole house. Pleasant surprise to have that level of longevity in a product these days. Quite chunky if you were wanting to move it a long way, but tucks away nicely under my desk at the end of the day.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI want to give this radiator a more in-depth review instead of mentioning how good of a product this. Firstly, because its not an impulse buy like a new games console. And, secondly because its design has a function.

To begin I’ll give some background info. The property where I live doesn’t have any radiators or even a fire to warm the house. Instead, it has a warm air heater (that only heats the downstairs), which is possibly older than I am

The dimensions of the living-room as approx. 5m x 1.5m (thermostat was placed 2m away from radiator)
I tested the radiators performance over 3 nights and it raised the temperature, on average, by 4.5 degrees aver a 5-hour period. Twice the appliance was on the medium power setting, and once on full-power. The difference in the power setting registered on the thermostat but only gave an extra 1 degree over the same time scale.

Today I woke up to a cold room (approximately 11.5 degrees), and this time the temperature rose by 4.9 degrees over the same time period.

I’ve no doubt the timer works as expected but haven’t yet tried it out.

To summarise, It does what it should and is very manoeuvrable thanks to the casters. It’s easy the assemble and operate. Definitely worth the asking price if you need extra warmth; its also cheaper to run than the halogen heaters I’ve used in the past.

I needed a heater for the home office that would go on to heat the room ready to start work. It came quickly, very well packed, and was simple to assemble brackets and wheels. The timer is ideal for exactly this purpose. It belts out plenty of heat and is very adjustable with a 6 position thermostat and 3 output settings. It’s smart but doesn’t dominate the room. It doesn’t have any handles for moving it around so need to make sure it’s cool before shifting position. Not sure about energy efficiency yet. It’s totally silent with no clicks when the thermostat turns it off or on. So far so good.

I bought this to heat my office, and by office I mean the shed at the bottom of my garden that I use as an office. The space is about 2 meters x 3 meters and has wood and glass construction and lots of drafty bits. This little radiator is brill. It warms up quite quickly really with heat being given off in minutes. It is quiet and looks ace. The timer is mechanical, which is a bit old school, but it works so I can set it to come on before work time each day to take the chill off. The controls are easy to use. The only negative I have found is that there is no handle to wheel it around so once it is on you need to be careful if you want to move it.

Purchased this product to heat a back of house bedroom with no other source of heat. Fairly easy to assemble. Instructions for use easy enough for a tech novice like me to understand. Heating my room great, especially at this time of year on one of the lowest settings. Not used the timer setting yet so unable to comment on that.

Really happy with this radiator. I bought 4 of them. Look good and work really well. Rooms toasty warm. Only thing I don’t really like but a small issue is the strange shape of the on off switches on the radiator as they are a bit fiddly to turn on and off but I guess I’ll get used to them. Not yet sure how much they will cost to run and hoping they are economical.

This is a good heater. It heats up quickly and has a useful timer. The only problem is the buttons and manoeuvrability are very badly designed. I actually struggle to turn the heater on and off, because there’s nothing to grip or latch on to – my fingers slip off the round switches. It’s also difficult to use the push/pull handle because there’s nothing to grip there either, it’s just flat underneath the handle where you’d normally expect some grip. It’s difficult to explain so I’ve attached photos!

Good heater but the buttons are not made for pushing!

I ordered this heater as an emergency back-up and it does just what I want it to do: it takes the chill off my living room in a matter of minutes. It’s July so I don’t really want all the radiators on, just a quick blast in the morning or evening. In the blowy north-east of England, it’s not that hot right now, I am glad to have this. Just what I was after.

We have tried these out just once but so far so good. They look good, they are easy to use and have a good heat output. We bought them in case we have any problems with our boiler (as it’s old), but they are very handy to have anyway. We have an out house which is connected to our Kitchen, it used to be a single skinned building but it was upgraded and insulated, however we still get condensation in there.
I was thinking about getting an extra radiator in there powered by our central heating system.
After going though the pros an cons I decided against a fixed radiator and decide to get this instead.
I have been using it for the past couple of nights and its great.
I have the choice of the 3 power settings, but to be honest I will probably only use the lowest setting.
I like the idea that it also has a timer so if you need it to warm a room up before you get there you can do this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis radiator arrived very promptly. It was easy to assemble the wheels and it works well. I haven’t tried the timer yet but the thermostat does click loudly, surprisingly frequently. (We have an older radiator – different make – which only makes a 1 ticking noise every once in a while when the theromstat kicks in.) If the new radiator was in the bedroom I think the frequent clicking would be annoying, but in a reception room this is ok.

This can produce a lot of heat, as you would expect from the 2.5kW rating, and will warm a mid – size living room; but it’s useful having three choices of power setting as well as the thermostat if you use it in smaller rooms. Easy enough to assemble, and although the wheel brackets feel a bit flimsy when you fit them it’s actually perfectly stable once set up. It is designed to be wheeled around and that works fine, but a second handle (one at each end) would make life a bit easier when it’s necessary to carry it. The timer does what you would expect – it’s slightly fiddly to set, but does the job. Overall a good, sturdy heater – I’m satisfied with my purchase.

  52. Andrew Altman says:

This is a good heater however, it is difficult to move especially when it is hot. The handle isn’t easy to hold. It does self regulate the temperature however, I would prefer that it didn’t. Overall it take the chill out of the room (I have large rooms) and simple enough to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy only criticism of this product was that I had to assemble the brackets and castors. I live alone and it was difficult for me to move the package from my front door to where I could put the castors on. I was expecting to be able to take it from the delivery man and wheel it to where I needed it. It was also hard for me to tip the product upside down to carry out this assembly. However, I did manage it and so far am very pleased with the product.

A really pleasant , clean lined design this radiator was a brilliant standby when our main stove needed an overhaul. Ours is an insulated house with no central heating, but this radiator coped with heating the living room for a few weeks till we could sort out stove repairs. However , when we go away the stove goes out and the house gets cold. Having this radiator means we can leave the house without worrying about dying house plants and walking into a cold house.

The heater is very powerful and heats up very fast. I haven’t attempted to utilise the timer as yet so cannot comment of how easy that function is to use. We bought this for our conservatory for the colder weather. As I am tetraplegic, and use a power wheelchair, we have no doors in the downstairs of the house. This includes access to the conservatory. This heater is brilliant. It’s been on the 1 or 2 setting all day for more than a week now. It means that the central heating thermostat has been 18 – 20c maximum. Last winter the thermostat was on maximum all day every day. I’m not sure how much the heater costs to run. However, I’m hoping it will be cost neutral if we’re not saving money. It doesn’t really matter as long as the house (and me) stays warm.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersArrived promptly and undamaged. Wheels easily assembled and heat setting instructions straightforward. No pungent smell when radiator heats up! I haven’t used the timer function yet. To date I have only required the medium setting ( 3 temp settings are low, medium and high) and these are very easy to set or adjust as required. The thermostat control is very effective at cutting off the power supply once the ambient room temperature is reached. The running costs on medium setting are approx 18pence per hour during heating but with the thermostat control being so good this cost only applies when the heater is actually ‘heating up’ to your required temperature and maintaining it. I am very pleased with the heating aspect and the running cost. Also, the wheels are solid and the radiator is stable and easily moved, although the lead could be longer, I guess! Would definitely recommend this product for taking the ‘nip’ out of the air quickly and maintaining a comfortable room temperature! Well worth the investment….and no bulbs to replace!

Trying to do an overall view of this product for you the price is good the item arrived early and in shop like condition its good to have the timer that works well it seems to have a safety cut out if moved when switched on, that seems good. its very hot to touch it makes no noise…but the lounge which is not massive its like a very large double bedroom and has a low cieling in a well built property four bedrooms insulated detached , new double glazed 22mm upvc windows etc and its late summer (August) it just doesnt seem to heat up the room as much as id have liked i thought the 11 fin rad would really warm a room up good, but on full it just takes off the chill and its not even deep dark winter. This is exactly what it can be it gets really really hot and it is quiet unlike fan heaters. We also have the delongi dragon 4 which was 3 times as much money and you get your moneys worth it heats the office which is smaller but its like a sauna in there the heat pours out the top which is part of its design , it reads. This rad is good it will stay dont expect what i expected this is no log burning stove. I hope this helps you alittle. My best tip is get a wool jumper !

Later after discused with seller they sent me a replacement.
I can say it was a little dented but nothing major like first one.
Functionality is ok. I can’t say about power consumption as I use it randomly.
As noise it does some. There is a continous noise from front side circuit board. It is not disturbing during day time. Can be heard when it is quiet.

Its very well priced. It does the job and no problems except I’m not overly confident about the quality of the switches. Construction of plastic parts not great. Never mind its a generous guarantee and if it lasts that long it will be value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA good radiator for the money. First one was faulty, but very quickly replaced by DOMU. My only niggle is a basic design fault – the thermostat is heated by the close proximity of the radiator fins. So it keeps turning off until the thermostat cools. Have to leave it on maximum setting until the room is warm enough, then turn it down. It still cuts out on 6 (Max) but not as often.

  63. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Arrived promptly and is really easy to fit the feet although the bottom of the fin does interfere with the flush fitting of the foot support. Controls are really easy although heat switches are odd in that you push the bottom of the switch in to turn it on. Unit kicks out plenty of heat although it doesn’t travel much from the fins which surprised me. Think it may be better for localized heating rather than expecting it to sort a conservatory out mid winter by itself

However it is working at the end.
    Wheels easy to assemble.
What I am missing here is a handle or something I could grab from the other side of the heater.

I use one of the radiators to provide additional warmth and/or to avoid having to turn on the central heating system in my front bedroom, which is currently being used as a home office. The room measures approximately 15 feet x 12 feet and the radiator quickly warms it up, even on a medium setting. The second radiator was purchased recently for my 95 year old father, after his central heating boiler broke down. These are not the prettiest radiators in the world, but the’re effective at getting the place warm. Only disappointment from my point of view is that both radiators have minor assembly/quality control faults. On the first to be delivered, one of the metal fins doesn’t fit as neatly as it should, causing a gap between the fin and the casing. On the second, the top of one of the fins is a little bit rough, so that, if you’re not careful, you can snag your finger. I would have given the product 5 stars were it not for these minor faults.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersArrived well packaged and in good time. It works really well. Instructions to put it together were really good. It is build solid although the knobs I thought seem a bit slack but the device works really well and is very efficient. I bought it to fight against dump in the garage to protect leather goods as a cheap but efficient way to combat moisture but we liked it so much that we kept it in the house. Oil radiators are used in museum as an economical to bring warmth. I have bought another another oil radiator for the garage since.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this heater seeing that it is the best priced in the market and in comparison to others had the same features.
It gives a lot of heat which you can feel projecting off the radiator and works wonders for even a fairly large room. The timer is just perfect; easy to use and great when you just want to heat one room instead of switching on the gas boiler. Yes it is smart looking; easily portable by wheels; has a grey type of tint. Hoping it last for some time. The only downside is that the plug wire is not so and you may have to use an extension lead.

Nice heater , instructions for use and settings very poor, and due to the time scale to heat- the old kettle watched never boils lol comes to mind . all said and done , on setting 1 with regulator on 6 kept the paper dry in my office overnight , no more vests in the office !!! and I don’t pay the electric bill , so please don’t ask the cost of running it .

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNot had this item long. we bought it for out conservatory, which this time of year suffers from condensation with electrical goods in there getting wet. We have a quite expensive Stereo System which is quite new, so we needed to keep it dry. I bought the radiator on the recommendation of others that an oil filled radiator would solve the problem. And solve it it does. I leave it on a very low thermostatic control and the radiator does the rest. With a bit of ventilation and the radiator, all condensation is gone and my precious Stereo, Records and CDs are now very dry. Can’t give 5 and I’ve not had it long enough to test its longevity but at the moment I am more than satisfield
