Safety catch, sturdy, sharp and easy on the hands as well as great value. So good I bought son one for his garden. Both of us would be lost without it. 100% recommend

When I saw this knife, I doubted its capabilities for the intended job. I needed to cut trees in my garden, this was just more than enough. Perfectly done the job

This is a neat little cutter and easily cuts through 2/3 inch branches and would probably do a bit thicker. Almost ordered an battery cutter but would have been more weight so this has the benefits of using longer without any struggles.Great price and sturdy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally pleased with this saw. Easy to use and hold and really effective. I’ve done lots of cutting down and back with it and has got through everything I’ve tackled. My garden mate.

Got this to attempt to attack my trees at the back of my garden and this saw/knife was excellent at getting into smaller gaps, has no problem with larger pieces of wood either. It’s extra sharp and great that it folds up and can be stored safely without the sharp blade exposed. Will be using this for many more projects in my garden.

Fantastic little saw for me. I’m a woman who struggles with chronic pain and on a good day I can go out with this and it cuts through my tree branches and bushes easily.

Very satisfying being able to saw through smaller branches and the like with this nifty piece of equipment, made sort work of a out of control hedge taken right back to stumps

We needed a wee lightweight saw for the garden as always seemed to be borrowing from our neighbour. Does the job well but using it for light work only. Cant comment on heavy duty work.
Like that it folds away easily for safety

It’s handy for pruning or small branches but it’s hard work for sawing thin planks of pine for firewood. It seemed to blunt quickly so I resorted back to my large saw. I’ll still keep it in the car for foraging though.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersUsed quite a lot in six months, removing branches from neighbour’s trees, and cutting down various branches in my own garden. Useful as is easy to get into tight spots. Sawing mechanism is a bit harder work than with a bigger sword, but as long as you don’t tackle any branches that are too thick it should be fine. Not sure how you’d go about sharpening it, though, so probably won’t last very long.

I am using this in the garden, it does the job well. The way the teeth are on the blade. It looks like it should not Blunden over time. The one problem I have with it is it is a little bit flimsy but what do you expect for the price overall decent value

This is cheap and I was a bit weary about buying it. I used it to cut a bedframe up with and it did the job no problem. I can say for anything tougher as this is all I have used it for.

bought this last march, used it throughout the summer on a badly overgrown garden. on everything from ivy to 4 or 5 inch thick tree branches and it performed faultlessly. still sharp as ever and no signs it’s gonna break anytime soon. so will be used again this summer.

  14. OHEPenelop says:

I bought this for cutting up the Christmas tree. It usually takes time and effort, but with this saw I had all cut up and in the garden bin within 20 minutes.

Great little tool and will be using again this summer for the brambles in our garden.

  15. Anonymous says:

I’ve not used it much but when I did, it performed exactly as I hoped. It will fit in a large pocket and could obviously go on a tool belt or in a holster, so it’s always right there. It’s small enough to use in tight spaces and is sharp.

In my opinion it does not compete with a small battery chainsaw, but then I don’t imagine it is intended to.

How wrong was I, it’s a wonderful tool! It took off the branches on my evergreen bush with ease! But please take care using it, could really do some damage to your fingers!! I would definitely recommend this seller!

For this price, it is brilliant. Had to do the screw up on the side before first use but since that, it did very well at getting through some sizeable branches. Would recommend this for branches up to the size of a tiger bread baton 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis tool is amazing, the tool does far more than the described. It cuts through branches and small tree trunks fast. Its sharp as hell so be very careful the least little touch from the tool on your skin will receive a cut. Advise you to buy a good pair of gloves which can deal with sharp knifes. Ive been cutting tree trunks, branches and it cuts so easily even with my arthitis. I have one and my dad as one and hes 86 cutting branches of his trees. Worth every penny get it why is a bargain.

    Amazing Produc

I bought this product to help me remove some large bushes from my garden. It cut through them very efficiently and was no effort at all. I even cut down a small fir tree at the base where the trunk was about six inches wide. It made very short work of it. It is very sharp but easy to open and lock in place. If was just as easy to move the blade back into the handle.

I first tried them yesterday, and, at first, could not cut through. But went to another hedge and, after a few attempts, finally got the hang of it! I have arthritis so was a bit worried would not be able to use.
Some of branches quite thick so was surprised able to cut them, took a while (as not got strength in hands)
Well worth the money. Be careful when opening and closing until you get used to them. Definitely keep out of reach of children and pets

The sturdy blade and positive lock to keep the blade open.
    Easy to hold handle
    Didn’t like
The listing showed the blade half closed but there is no positive stop and cutting you fingers is a real possibility. You need to be very careful closing the blade. To be fair this is likely to be a shortcoming on all cheap folding saws

I was really quite surprised when it arrived. It is superb quality with really sharp pointed teeth it works really well on larger branches. Hopefully it will stand the test of time but early indications are anything to go by it will.
