Great bit of kit with very good battery life.
Worx make good tools and do not disappoint with this strimmer.

My husband has had same one for years but batteries old and not olding charge like they used to. Been after a new one so he is over the moon I bought him this for his birthday. Not used it yet as only arrived night before last but sure it will have its first run this weekend
My husband was a bit skeptical as he was keen on getting a Bosch, but the Bosch was twice the price and with only one battery so practicality won out. This did the job on our sizable garden & still had battery life to spare! It was easy to use as an edger too thanks to the wheels. We will be looking at getting more from this brand now that can share the battery packs. Very happy we gave it a chance!
So my pet peeve about gardening is the cables for mowers and strimmers. Setting up takes longer than mowing but not anymore!
As a 6ft4 user, the telescopic reach is almost perfect for me! The ability to angle the strimmer head is great as I can have the strimmer wire practically at my toes in a safe way. The rolling wheel for edging is great but I do find the angle difficult to accurately cut the line you’re aiming for.
All in all, I don’t regret a thing about it and I strim the whole garden now, not just the edges. I’d rather walk around cable free doing this, than getting the mower out.
I’ve been able to do the front and back gardens, all edges and some flag edges on a single charge. I finished before the battery did.

Great strimmer no messing with cables and battery lasts longer than expected
So I have a petrol strimmer and its really good for heavy work in the garden but instead of having to mix 2 stroke oil to get it going every time I use it witch is a bit of a pain in th you know what and I have a lot of worx tools already so I ordered it just to see if it was any good its like using a kids toy its that light after using the petrol one easy to set up easy to use one battery will do my front garden and my 2 neighbours gardens it will struggle with long wet grass but they all do that anyway easy to refill and I love the botton feed no banging the head on th grass like other models and as for storage you could almost put it into bag its that small when it folded down

I did lots of reserch about trimers and finaly bought this timmer for husband like present so still not opened and he didnt had a chance to used it.I hope i picked the right one for our garden and flowerbeds.

This strimmer is well built and easy to assemble, the battery lasted for both my front and back gardens which took approximately 20-25 minutes with plenty of juice left. The wheel is perfect for getting those edges nice and straight. Very happy with this purchase.
I have moved home and only have a small lawn now. Grass needed trimming back before I give it more love.
Hubby was chuffed to bits with this strimmer. As he has trouble bending it was great the height of it was adjustable.
Line feeds through automatically and quite light.
So far he can’t find fault with it.

I got this yesterday, put batteries on to charge they took just over an hour each. Read instructions and take note, because I put the wheel on the wrong way first. You will need a bit of force to connect the guard in order to lineup the screw other than that it’s simple
I must say this strimmer is very easy to use, I was surprised at how well it got through the parts my mower can’t reach.
Well worth the money in my view. My garden is wide and long, I done all my edging and hardly used any battery life.

Although this unit is not particularly heavy after using for sometime ones forearms do tend to flag , but that might just be me and my whimsy muscles.

Pleasantly surprised just how well this trimmer copes with my larger garden edging and the cutting cord lasts well.. even if a tad expensive to replace.

Assembly wasn’t straightforward, and the mechanism that makes the handle move was very stiff and I was worried I was going to break something. Other than that, just what I needed – it is light, and not having a cable is a delight. It cuts well, retains a charge, and the ‘stabiliser’ wheel to help with straight edging is a great feature. Perfect for our small/medium sized garden.
When you know you made the right choice. Well packaged, easy to assemble. Quick charging battery and out into the garden! Lightweight but clearly robust. Easy to hold and work with. Battery doesn’t last long but has enough charge to strim my medium sized front and back garden do I’m happy, plus i have anothet battery on my impact driver so i share the batteries between the strimmer and driver, happy days

Very easy to use. Flip-over facility for edging very simple. Handle rake adjustment weird as you have to rest your foot on back of head to press or lift handle but otherwise pleased.

Used a few times, cuts very well, nice light weight, strimmer line seamed to run out quicker than I’d thought. Got some on order but quite long delivery time. Still happy with strimmer at the mome
I found this strimmer to be lightweight and I have poor mobility but could manage the strimmer easily. Does a really good job , have not tried the edging part yet. Would recommend this strimmer , very good and value for money.

Firstly I had a minor pricing issue – I mention this as Positec Europe resolved this 100% to my satisfaction, they replied quickly to my messages and I would have full confidence in buying from them again.
The strimmer is very good. I have 2 x 2Ah batteries and I believe a “fast” charger. I also have a Worx hedge trimmer. I was able to cut down 5ft tall dence weeds, swap the battery on to the hedge trimmer and back to the strimmer for lighter grass cuts for at least an hour continuous work. By the time the second battery was done the first had fully recharged.
Very impressed with how the strimmer performed, coming from a heavy petrol one I would definitely recommend this battery option – you will need 2 batteries for a lot of work (over 1/1.5hrs) and a fast charger – unless you are happy to wait for the battery to recharge.
The cutting angle is perfect too, wheel design/angle is great for straight edges and the whole thing is light weight. For the price it’s a great buy.
Its powerful but handle with care when trimming edges, takes practice to get a feel for power of this thing. First go i scalped my edge a little, its just about find the right distance from lawn and angle of it being held!
This product is very well made, easy to assemble and performs very well. Flexible in its use as an edging tool or simply a trimmer. I haven’t used it enough yet to rate battery life, but I have a large lawn area and don’t think there will be a problem. I like this tool and am really pleased with it and it is good value.

i have used the trimmer a few times now ,so far so good ,does my back yard and front with power to spare,it was just getting in the habit of chargeing the batterie after use,what a difference not haveing to find extention leeds. very happy.

I don’t often write reviews but this is a great strimmer, I have a medium sized garden and it edged the lawns on both the rear and front gardens on one charged battery. It is easy to use, the feed button works well and the cord reel is easy to change. The wheels makes edging very easy and to be able to change the angle of the strimmer cut so easily is a great feature. Would I recommend? I have bought a 2nd one for my father in law.
