This works well. The image quality is very good indeed.
I like it that the Hard Drive is so large – 2Tb That is not useful just for going on holiday but also for viewing historical footage when you realise something happened but only days after the event.
Ordered cctv cameras from Amazon – one camera did not work. Contacted ZOSI with regard to this. Aimee picked up e-mail and dealt with the return of the camera very efficiently, firstly talking through all stages of trying to get the faulty camera working. Camera sent back, new camera arrived fitted and working. Excellent customer service by Aimee.
The cameras give the most detailed close up pictures and videos and genuinely distinguish between motion and human movement cutting out false alarms. I damaged a lead and Rainbow replaced it for me straight away. They were able to guide me through any installation problems I had. Great product and great service.
The 8mp CCTV system is fantastic for the price.
The picture quality for day and night vision is good, the intelligent night vision works well and the lights are bright enough to illuminate the field of vision.
Once plugged in and wired the system works straight out of the box, you just need to alter the setting to your personal preference.
The motion detection and humanoid detection both work well, with two cats the humanoid function stops false alarms and triggers. The areas of detection can be altered via a grid system on the dvr menu.
The app and DVR interface are basic but allow you to easily customise the systems setup.
The technical support is also great and they respond quickly, I have a few queries whilst setting up the system which they prompt resolved.
I have only had the cameras set up outside for a month so cannot comment on durability yet but the build quality seems good.
I upgraded from 4mp WiFi cameras before this and the sharpness of image and picture quality is noticeably better.
All in all for the price you can’t go wrong with this system.
Great set of cameras. Comes very well packaged and every camera individually wrapped. Easy to install with the screw back plate and then clicking in the cameras. This was the wired version which is instant feedback on the monitor/app.
Had a slight issue with one of the power adapters however rainbow from customer service was an amazing help and had the problem sorted within hours.
The app could do with updating or slightly better software.

Bought the Zosi 1080p 4 camera lite system (no hard drive) and have to say how impressed I am with its quality and value for money. Bought this having spent almost 12 months looking for a cctv system for my home, and struggled to find a balance between cost/benefit/ features etc. stumbled on Zosi system and for the price and with its reviews gave it a go, and haven’t been disappointed easy to install a hard drive bought elsewhere ( I got a 2tb surveillance HDD from cex that cost less than 30, so whole system plus HDD cost me 120 ) and the internal set up wizard is ultra easy to use along with easy mobile app. Image both day and night is clear ( night is b/w) ) system is stable and I installed it quickly and easily with the booklets supplied . For the price this is a total no braine
UPDATE:July 2022 –
After reporting the issue of a faulty DVR and Camera to ZOSI, I was assigned Rainbow from their team who has been absolutely amazing in proving support to me. A new DVR and 2 x new cameras were sent to me.
Rainbow keep me updated throughout the replacement order and courier processes until the new DVR and Camera arrived.
Products do occasionally fail or become faulty, but what makes the difference is when the manufacturer/company is prepared to help a customer in a situation like this and resolve the problem quickly.
I’m very impressed by the excellent service provided by Rainbow and ZOSI in resolving the problem I reported and acting quickly to send me the replacement DVR and cameras.
I have already recommended ZOSI POE CCTV systems to a few friends and family members who are currently looking for a new system.

I purchased this ZOSI 8 Channel POE kit April 2022 to replace an existing ageing POE system I had for 6 years.
When the ZOSI system was first set up, it worked great and picture quality both day and night was great. Its now June and I have had 1 camera fail and one port failure on the DVR. Awaiting response from ZOSI and very much hoping they will be able to offer a replacement DVR and camera.
The product is of high quality. 2TB storage is very useful for 24 hours recording. It will be perfect if the system can be deployed with a WiFi network. Recommend for shops. Great value.

Hard drive wont format. So the ccyv systen does not record at tbe momemt.
Great picture quality and very easy to install. There was a glitch with one of the cameras, but one of their customer support team member helped me with the issue by sending a replacement. Very pleased with the item and service received.
**Update – August 2022 system is now 5months old and its brilliant -but one of the cameras developed a fault – flickering/reverting to B&W now always in B&W- contacted Amazon who put me in touch with ZOSI customer support – They have been excellent! Despite the time difference -Rainbow- even Whatsapped me during his ‘night time!- They went through a series of system check with me, giving advice however that failed to fix the problem. After doing all of the fault finding and confirming a faulty camera – they are sending out a replacement – FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT – there when you need it! Well done ‘Rainbow’ and ZOSI – Thank You!
I’ve had a Zosi system for almost 7yrs, its never let me down and I always considered it a great value home system, it was only 720p but adequate for my needs/budget. I saw this one an Amazon at a great price and with my previous experience of Zosi it was a no brainer to upgrade to the 1020p 2TB system. It was also very handy that I was able to re use the BNC cables already in place and just swapped out the cameras. Set up was very easy – just followed the links and it was done! Even better, my old 8camera system is going to be reinstalled at my nephews! Great picture, easy set up and fantastic value in my opinion. I’d have no reservation recommending this system to anyone thinking about it!
Self installed with no issues. Great 4K quality, night vision is good. Very sensitive motion detector even on lowest setting so tuned off notifications! The app works well. Need Ethernet to make it run online, I bought a WiFi extender for 15 with the Ethernet port and works great.
Cost effective and great quality…… had an issue with the DVR after about 8 months of working fine, customer support was great, Ella resolved everything over what’s app within 2 weeks, replacing faulty DVR…. thank you
This is my second cctv, The quality is great and setting up is easy. You can zoom in can read number plates 15m away. Connecting phone is bit slow and takes few seconds to load up that’s to be expected with that resolution. On 4k TV there is no delay and picture is clear.
The system was fairly easy to set up and we had no issues initially. Unfortunately the DVR developed a fault with the power supply. The customer service centre specifically Cathy, was very helpful and prompt in troubleshooting and ultimately replacing the DVR.
Picture quality is great when I compare it with my old system

This is a great product! Easy to install and set up on pc app & with mobile app, need to have a monitor as well ideally. Picture quality is excellent especially when in play back and zoomed in. Had a chat with their support via WhatsApp and they resolved very quickly and were very helpful, Rainbow my contact helped me there.

I had a Swann system that cost over a 1000 and this is a far better option. Setup was so simple and phone app is so easy to use.

However what I found outstanding is ZOSI customer support. I have reported faulty camera and new arrived with few days without any hassle.

This arrived earlier than expected and was very easy to fit. Picture quality is very good and I would recommend this product without a doubt.
Like any wiring job, it’s tedious and time-consuming to route the wires all over the house to ensure a neat end result. Fortunately, we did a complete kitchen renovation and were able to install conduit in the ceiling through which some of the cables were routed together with cat6a ethernet cables for every room in the house.
Wiring aside, however, setup is so easy. Connect the cables to the DVR. Connect the DVR to a TV or monitor and job done! I couldn’t get the dome cameras that came with this dvr to work with the dvr I bought in 2016, but that’s understandable. The bullet cameras that came with that dvr work fine together with the dome cameras on this latest dvr purchase. We now have both dvrs in operation: this lastest one as the main system covering the house and the 2016 dvr covering the back garden.
I hit a snag when trying to view the system remotely with my old Lenovo T500 laptop running Windows 10. The manufacturer has various software to down load for windows, mac, android phones and tablets and iphones etc. But, I simply couldn’t view remotely on my old laptop, which was a major disappointment. That’s when Zosi’s support team came to the rescue.
There’s a time difference so it took a week to get it sorted but the Zosi support (Joven) was brilliant. He eventually got Zosi’s tech team to remotely work on my laptop and they established that the problem lay with the old graphics card. They got me to switch laptops with my wife and “bingo!”, we were now able to view the cameras remotely. I now have the software working perfectly on two laptops.
One of these days I’ll invest in a smart phone and Zosi have apps for that, but, right now, I’m happy knowing we can go away with a laptop and be able to login and view all the cameras at our home.
I’ve no doubt there are better cctv systems on the market but value-for-money-wise, it’s hard to beat these Zosi ones and folks appear to buy the Zosi cameras for other makes of cctv systems because they’re such good value.

It’s a good DIY system for your house and the customer service team were great at responding and rectifying a system failt, I spoke to Coco direct and was able to resolve the problem in minutes
Great value for money. The dvr eorks perfectly well with no issues. All packaged very well with everything you need except hard drive.
I had issues with cameras being too dark and not able to view at night and RAINBOW from customer support stuck to the case and chased up every step to rectify the issue. Turns out it was just old software on the cams but with new cams i am satisfied with the night vision. (See pics).
Early days but so far definately worth the investment if your looking for a cctv system. Only gave a 4 star due to issues with night vision but all else seems spot on. No issues at all with after sales customer support just have to be patient as after sales is in china.
I bought the ZOSI Home CCTV Camera System 8 Channel 1080P Lite Surveillance DVR kit and 4x1280TVL Outdoor Dome CCTV cameras a year ago now. The PVR is reliable and I have found it very easy to use my only problem with it is that during backup it will sometimes freeze and needs to be rebooted also the only backup file format is AVI and it would be nice to have newer formats like MPEG4.
I personally did not find the night vision of the camera(s) sufficient for my requirement and I replaced them with a better alternative. The picture quality during the day is very good from the cameras.
I’ve engaged with ZOSI Customer Care on a number of occasions and have found them to be very helpful, thorough and professional to deal with and they have taken my feedback about the intermittant record freeze and the backup types onboard. They actually suggested a potential workaround for the backup freeze which I will try. All in all for the money this is a good system.
Better quality picture than I expected – have previously bought Sannce and the difference between the cameras is evident (but the old camers DO work with this new system). Probably buy some more of the dome cameras (in black this time) – bought two of these (one for the house, one for the garage/garden) – terrible being a geek sometimes…
Glad I had fiddled with other CCTV systems as the instructions are VERY terse – probably fine but I’d like more info rather than less. Can’t even find much online, but can easily see that it has the same parent OS as Sannce et al, menu options are near enough identical. But please don’t think this is a bad thing, it isn’t.
Can use the PC app to view the cameras, not used the mobile app – not interested. For me the critical point that I want an answer to is – “an I get the stream/feed for use with my home automation system to use – outside of the app?”
