Is really thick. I am confident it will be very durable, even though I’m a bit of a fidgeter so I think I’ll give it a rough life!
The textured side will be quite hard to clean I think.

I did not find it difficult to lay flat.

Nice mat and works quite well, I use it on the carpet. It flattened very easily, as I got it on one of the heatwave days and just left it outside – it was flat in a day. The issue is that even after a week it still smells badly of new plastic (or whatever the material is), not a pleasant smell, hope it goes away soon. Otherwise – great mat.
The product arrived packed tightly in a tube so I was worried that it wouldn’t unfurl straight. But I kept it outside for a bit (it’s warm at the moment) and was able to use it next day. It’s sturdy and it works. It does move around a bit so I’m thinking of getting some clear tape or something.
I was worried that this might be a bit curly but it is actually fantastic.
I took it out the box , unrolled it and within 15 mins all was glorious.
As many of you know I am not the lightest body in the house but so far so good. The chair glides well and the mat shows NO signs of wear at all.
Remember to place it smooth side down on a laminate floor.
Under no circumstances be tempted to use this on a carpet. You will be courting disaster if you do.
Hopefully durability will be good. I’ll keep you posted if there are any issues.

Good product with a good price! I am working from home and I have my chair with multiple wheels. It is very hard to move my chair around on the carpet. After having this item, it is very easy to anywhere near my working desk. Good to have
Arrived at my doorstep the other day and I was impressed.
Very sturdy material and gets the job done. I no longer am wheeling around my carpeted floors on my desk chair. With this mat gliding around the home office is easier than ever.

Bought this to use when new laminate flooring was laid in my study. The old floor was badly scratched with the office chair wheels rolling over them day after day. Laid this down and within 24 hours the curls from being rolled up had disappeared and it was flat on the ground. Fairly thick so don’t think it will wear off quickly. Having used it for a few months, could happily recommend.
Bought this as working from home and wheeled office chair was ruining the carpet. The mat does move about a bit.

Item arrived quickly and was well packed on delivery. Only initial problem was because the mat was packed in a tube, we had to lay it upside down to remove the curl and prevent the edges curling up. Once straightened out it seems to be working well and protecting out new carpet from excess wear from our office chairs. Product seems to reasonably thick and strong so would expect it to last well.
I like it. Although it says not to use it for carpet, I have and it’s been fine. Would recommend.
I brought this to protect laminate flooring from the wheel of a heavy duty office chair and it’s very good. It’s very thick and durable. I unrolled it and placed some heavy objects on the edges and it flattened out within a day. I’d definitely recommend this if your looking to protect hard wood or laminate flooring.
The chair mat was exactly as hoped; a good thickness that made it sturdy yet flexible. The texture of the surface is also perfect – there is enough grip to provide a safe surface for furniture, and smooth enough for chair wheels to glide easily. Will order more!
I’m using this to protect my wooden floor from my office chair and so far it seems ideal for the job. It does come rolled up pretty tight so won’t lay flat when it’s first removed from the box. What I did was flattened it on the floor with a heavy book on each corner for a few hours (underfloor heating helps if you have it as the plastic softens a lot when warm) and then rolled it up again the opposite way and replaced it in the box it came in for a day or two. That seems to have done the trick.
This is the perfect solution to my uneven wooden floor in my home office. My chair used to roll backwards constantly but now it stays in place much to my relief! The material is durable and seems very good quality so I think it will last under the chair’s wheels. Great buy, would highly recommend!
Since working from home, the home office’s wood floor started showing signed on marks and scratches so purchased this protector. It’s a fairly good product, doing what it is supposed to. It’s transparent/clear so not obvious easily that there’s something on the floor but protection is there. Chair wheels rotate easily. Size is good enough for the single work desk. The only issue is the cylinder packing which requires sometime to flat it out with balanced load on all sides so not in use straight out of the box.
Product initially came tightly rolled. It will need to be held down while it warms up to house temperature and relaxes. In use it works well. I have it on a hardwood floor and it quietens the noise the chair makes moving around and should protect the floor for a good while to come.

Overall great product. Does what it’s suppose to. Took a bit longer to flatten out, but that was expected for the thickness of mat.
