This charging cable is so much more durable than my original apple cable. It still provides a fast charge and the 6ft cable length is very useful. Works efficiently and have recommended to others. I don’t think I would repurchase an Apple cable ever again. Considering both the affordable price and durability, I much prefer this Anker cable.

Bought this over 6 months ago, I had a problem with mine being faulty on arrival but Anker were very quick to replace it for me, my new cable has been great and hasn’t shown any signs of wear and is still working when used daily to this day. I also am aware that I am not very careful with cables and tend to bend them and rip them out all the time so this cable really is durable!
A strong cable, seems to be lasting better than the fabric Anker cables I usually go for oddly enough. Can’t rave enough about the speed of charging with this and the matching plug adapter. Worth every penny.

I made the mistake of ordering two cheaper ones, which is unusual as I usually stick with Anker brand.
Long story short, sent the cheap ones back as they didn’t fit correctly; and ordered this one which costs a little more but works perfectly.
Update since initial review: Anker got in touch and offered a refund. Excellent customer service and review updated to reflect this. Purchased along with an Anker plug charger 6 weeks ago, no issues initially, however, the cable has now stopped working and no longer charges.
Anker products normally very good, so no surprises that this just works and works well. Charges pretty quickly with any fuss. Fairly robust and easy to recoil after use. Would I buy another if needed, for sure .
Used this product in conjunctions with the Anker plug and phone went from 12% to 32% in 10 minutes of charging. Solid wire, and wouldn’t choose any other brand to charger my phone. This was tested on iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Bought the original anker lead and plug 364 days ago. The cable lasted one day under a year! Bought this to replace the lead. Bit sad that it only lasted a year, as it is kept in same plug, and never moved, so not man handled. However it charges so damn quick, it is superb on this front. Million times better than the original apple one.
Over the moon have been told by many phone shops that 12 pro max takes 2 hrs plus to charge this does it in 50 minute. Really thick quality cable. And the plug you have to use it with sold separately is fab as well with lovely ice pink colo
The anker usb c to lightning cable which i brought to go with the anker 20 watt plug charger. But as we all know you have buy them separately.
As for the cable it’s self I have no doubts at all that it will do the job as I do rate anker. I also said the same about the 20 watt plug charger in the review I did about that.

My cable was defected after a year of heavy use, this product may not be as durable as Anker’s high-end cable. However, it is very competitive to other products in same price.
But their customer services are the best customer service I ever seen, only took 5 days to receive my replacement since I claim my warranty.
Highly recommended, I plan to buy another one for backup.

Bought to charge a new iphone running from a Belkin dual A & C charger. Cable as expected, charging well, seems well made and sturdy but only had it a week so time will tell hence the 4 stars for durability
I bought this to use with my iPhone. It looks and feels great, like Apple’s own cables but slightly thicker and stronger. Charges very fast (when used with an appropriate fast charger). I like Anker overall, their products are well made.

I have been using it for long time and it’s one of most durable cables I found. Especially in the hands of kids no cable can survive but this one did a pretty good job. The kids pull it, push it, bend it all day long and it still works. Brilliant.
This feels better quality than the very thin and flimsy Apple Original.
The length makes it very (excuse the pun) flexible to use. No meed to have your phone so near the plug sockets

This was a fantastic charger in the first instance, literally 2 months to date of purchase it just stopped dead. I tried this wire in other plugs to make sure and it’s definitely the wire that’s broken. I can’t find a way to get in touch either to make a complaint. I wouldn’t mind if it was a cheap charger but it wasn’t. I really did expect more.
I bought this for my iPhone last year, and it’s been very amazing with no issues. My friend came around and was using my charger as he forgot his. He eventually ordered this same charger for himself because of how good and fast it was. I’ll definitely recommend this.

When ordering it’s important to ensure that the cable is the right size (1 metre or two metre) and has the correct connection (C type or USB). I ordered the wrong item myself, but quickly got a replacement, so everything is now working well.
Don’t mess about looking at cheaper cables, worth the price, quality cable, robust, comes with a small Velcro loop to tidy up any excess cable or for stowing cable away. Good connections at both ends, using mine on my Harley Davidson Pan Am for charging my phone so exposed to elements without issue

As usual with Anker products this works exactly as it should. Fast charges my iPhone 12 Pro via Apple’s USB C 20w plug.
No idea re data transfer as I do pretty much everything via Wi-Fi/cloud/internet.
Wish it was braided as I find them more robust but this feels well made and as though (if used correctly) it will last well.

The cable is quote robust but recently I found the lightning end plug and wire had cracked. Not best pleased though little can be done now. Back to the search for a durable cable (durable in everyday sitting reading terms, not extreme iPad stuff.) You might find the cable great and durable but my experience is all I have to go by.
I decided to try a second cable and it has gone the same way. I first saw the issue (where the connector joins the wire) and thus I’m going to get rid of the cable. Twice means that I will not be trying a third time. Your experience may be different but this was mine.
So, I always purchase Anker products and have never had an issue.
This cable, I purchased in August last year, and I was impressed; it charges quickly and the length was just what I wanted.
Down the line to last month, and the cable started glitching, wouldn’t charge anything properly. I then noticed that it began to feel very hot, and at the base of the line, it was burning/yellowed.
I contacted Anker yesterday, and within 24 hours, they have liaised with me, and adhered to their lifetime warranty, when I sent them the problem in writing and photos etc.
They have now just shipped a new cable.
I am so impressed by the customer service, I thought it was only right to leave feedback in all honesty.
As I said, the products have always been durable and reliable; I’ve still got a cable from 2015 in full working order.
So, kudos to the team and company as a whole.

Wanted a good quality cable to charge my new 12 pro max whilst in bed. The length is spot on and the cable quality looks good too, does seem like its up to Ankers usual quality. Charging without issue from my Macbook Pro charger so all good.
Updated – Had to return as kept having issues on my macbook with it disconnecting when trying to move data, tried on my main pc with onboard usb c on the motherboard and the iphone would not show up at all. Not sure if its cable at fault or iphone but had to return. No issues with power though for that it worked perfectly
This is, by a galactic mile, the best cable I have ever bought/used. I never really thought to enhance my phone’s charging until I got my new iPhone 11 and I am so glad I did. The cable charges my phone extremely fast and whenever I am about to leave the house I can always do a quick ‘power charge’ and it never fails to give my phone a nice boost in percentage. I bought the Anker 18W plug along side this so I really do have the dream pair for charging.
In conclusion, you should stop reading this review already and get yourself one of these chargers !!
Edit: My charger cable broke and so I contacted the super helpful Anker customer service, within days they were able to sort out a new charger for me. The whole experience was extremely smooth and I can continue confidently buying from Anker knowing I am in safe hands.
I don’t have an Apple cable to compare it but I’ve seen other users photos and comparisons and this Anker USB C to Lightning cable is so much better, stronger, durable, affordable and colourful. Yes, I got the black one 🙂
I’ve got it hooked up to the PD port on my Anker PowerPort Speed and it pumps out some serious charge. I probably don’t use it so much for emergency fast charging and it’s more my regular night charger but I have on a few occasions had to use it to get my phone from under 10% so I can use it for a few more hours before bed. I’ve charged it for 30 mins on times and it generally gives me about 45% more charge in the first 30 mins. Which is pretty amazing.
The cable itself is very sturdy, thicker than a normal PowerLine or Apple cable and can be bent 1000’s of times.
I’ll definitely be getting the beaded version when it comes out and that will go in my work bag with the PD PowerCore ready for emergency outdoor charging.
