- Not compatible with Amazon’s Fire HD 10 Plus tablet.
- iPhone 5V / 1A stock chargers and computer USB ports do not have sufficient output to power your PowerWave.
- Place your phone on the center of the PowerWave Pad to ensure stable charging.
- Cases made of metal and attachments such as magnets, cards, and grips will interfere with charging.
- Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 wall adapter (9V/2A) required for fast charge mode.
- The iPhone 6 series, iPhone 7 series, and Samsung A series do not support wireless charging.

This item does what it suggests – wireless charging for compatible phones. Can confirm this works for iPhone SE 2020. One small negative is that it does have a tendency to overheat more quicker than if the phone was charged using a cable.
Excellent product. Bought it as my iPhone X charging port is faulty, and wireless charging bypasses needing the cable.
It doesn’t come with a charging plug, but I use it at work and it charges my phone seemlessly when the pad is plugged into my laptop USB.
And I also use it in car, with the pad plugged into a cigarette lighter socket and works perfectly too. (Need a flat surface of course!)
Fast charging speeds and plug&play set up.
Would highly recommend.
I bought this as I have broken the charging port on my iPhone 11. It works really well, it charges it at the same speed as a normal charger. It is quick to recognise when the phone has been placed on it. Would highly recommend.
It had a very nice package, and the charger feels like good with rubber coating. It does make your phone warm though when you charge wirelessly but it seems safe. I think the only complaint is that it bad a micro USB cable whilst the whole world has moved to usb c but it doesn’t really matter as it comes with a good micro USB cable. The charging indicator is useful though and not distracting
I gather that Anker are amongst the gold standard for chargers. The beauty of induction is that that you don’t wear out the socket contacts with repeated plugging in. Not sure how much Electromagnetic radiation is emitted but I suspect not very much goes any distance to be of concern.
Already purchased one of these for home and purchased another for work. Quite good charging time, bit annoying that u have to place the phone accurately to charge but not a biggy.
Overall: Does what it says, has worked fine in my use case for charging the earphones and the phone occasionally.
Do I recommend? If you are want something for convince to stay in place and slat down a device for charging it’s good.
Positives:
Works well with cases.
Blue LED to show it’s charging, will turn off after a few seconds.
The placement of the device is fairly forgiving for charging, but an outline would be nice for guidance.
Compact size and height.
Long enough USB micro-B cable.
Negatives:
No USB C or USB C revision of this, would be very convenient considering USB C will be a standard in Europe soon.
This is actually a very good item. So good I actually have 2!
It works well for iPhones & apple EarPods but not the Apple Watch.
It’s on constantly. Never had any problems with it. I would recommend.
Looks robust and of quality. Also charges ear pods with wireless charging capability. But phones have to be in a certain position. You cannot just drop on it like you do on the wireless charger on a car.
Bought this in a hurry as my phone wouldn’t charge with it’s lead and I was about to go on holiday. Sent it to the Amazon locker at my destination. Works fine, I needed to take my phone out of it’s case & it’s slightly slower then the plug in. But overall I’m very pleased & relieved to have a back up way of charging my phone. Highly recommend.
Been using it now for a few weeks & been perfect. What i like about this one is there are no big bright LED’s that light up the whole bedroom at night. Just a tiny little LED to show is working. I have used some wireless charging pads that are like being in a disco at night time but this is perfect.
This is good one but my mobile heat so much as my mobile is old I can’t suspect what is wrong. But this product is easy to use and you can check its compatibility before buying it.
This is a really good value charger, ideal for earbuds and other smaller devices. It’s also good for slowly charging larger devices like phones overnight. If I was to buy another wireless charger, I would probably go for something slightly higher power.
… just have the correct plug.
I just use a USB slot on a multi-plug as i only use it for my mouse.
It’s only coming through on slow but, i don’t need fast for it. Fast works though. As i typed. Just have the correct plug.
Bought because my phone’s charging port doesn’t work anymore. Takes a few hours to charge which isn’t bad. The connection is micro USB rather than C, I’d rather how C nowadays. The texture of the charging pad is soft-rubbery and attracts the dust which sticks to it, this isn’t ideal. Overall, a good product though.
This is a good quality charger that is very easy to set up and use. The big plus of this is that you can just put your iPhone on this charger without messing around plugging in cables. However, it charges slower that when you use a charging cable, and you have to check that your phone is not over-heating as sometimes phones can get hot when sitting on this charger. Please also note that this does not work on iPads or on iPhones older than an iPhone 8.
I have a Pixel 5 and I bought this specifically because it charges Pixels slowly at only 5W. (The higher-power wireless charging produces a lot of heat and I want to maximise the battery longevity). In practice, the phone receives about 3W. Very slow, but keeps very cool.
The device itself is decent. It’s extremely lightweight, but otherwise the build quality is ok. The base and top surfaces are very slightly grippy – a phone with a smooth back might slide off if the pad isn’t perfectly level.
It has a Micro-B USB port which is disappointing now that USB-C is becoming ubiquitous, but that’s only a minor nitpick.
I like this charger i only gave 4 star as my iphone tends to slide off of it so i have to had a hair band always on it to stop this issue but other than that i like it. Would recommend using it along with a fast wall charge
great charges my i phone 14 and apple airpods pro 2 nd gennorasion works grea
We are using it in our car. Its very fast charging. Good for travel purposes. We found it very useful.
Perfect item to stop others using your charging cable and damaging it!
Can’t believe how convenient it is to use a wireless charger…. no more trailing charger cable hanging over bedside cabinet or plugging/unplugging of charger. I am using my Anker Wireless Charger on a Samsung S23 (standard model not plus or ultra) which is in a leather wallet (Torro) case and it works well… no problems with charging through a case.
Only drawback is that it comes without any power supply, just a USB-A to Micro USB lead. It’s a pity that the charger does not have a USB-C connector (the standard on all recent android phones) because then I could have simply unplugged my original phone charger cable from my phone and plugged it into the wireless charger. Not to worry, I found an old (Blackberry) phone charger with a micro USB connector and used that to supply the wireless charger. The Blackberry charger is rated at 5V, 700 ma.
The charging rate is noticeably slower than a direct wired connection, but no problems charging phone up to 100% overnight.
I purchased this charging pad in November 2020. It is now March 2023.
I use it to charge my iPhone 12Pro Max and my gen1 iPods pro.
It has worked better than the genuine Apple charging pad as the phone does not overheat during charging.
I suspect that the overheating issue due to the higher current supplied to the Apple disc via its USB-C connector than the max 1 Amp allowed over the USB Type-A connector.
In any case, the Anker disc does not overheat the iPhone battery like the Apple one does.
Cooler battery during charging = a longer service life.
A couple of other improvements over the Apple disc is that it is not attached by magnets, and you can remove the USB when packing away (or replace it when it gets damaged).
Oh, and it’s got a soft rubber coating, and it’s a LOT cheaper!
There’s not a lot more to say than this. It’s used most days, it works, is reliable, and I don’t have to fight with the strong magnets each time I grab my phone.
I have 2 of these in my home now. Love that they’re so simple to use. We have apple phones.
I charge my iPhone overnight beside the bed on a cabinet so this an alternative to repeatedly having to find the cable which has inevitably fallen on the floor.
It works really well but you do have to be careful placing the phone on it to ensure it is actually charging; easy to do, but equally easy to miss the ‘sweet spot’ if you simply chuck your phone on it.
Another bonus is that it frees up the lightening port so you can use wired headphones whilst charging.
It’s also worth making sure you don’t accidentally use it as a place mat for a bedtime drink!
It’s ok if you don’t have any thing on your phone. It’s brilliant but it doesn’t work for covered phone cases.
Bought to see if it would charge an Amazon fire tablet but didn’t work so my partner kept for his Samsung. Works great, only downside u have to take the cover off your phone every time u use i
I read up that I needed to purchase a plug separately for this item, which was fine as I intended to use it connected to the TV through the USB port.
It turns out this cannot be connected to the tv
So this was a complete waste of time. I now didn’t have a plug for it and it stated you couldn’t used a normal plug i actually did use a sore iPhone plug and this works well, it even charges quickly.
Disappointing that I can’t use it as I intended though.
Is not great but it will do the job and it will take time to charge
Whenever i go with Anker i know i am paying for quality. The actual wireless charger is a nice size has a very premium high quality soft velvet kind of feel to it so your phone wont slip around on there. Its not super fast charge but my secondary s10 plus charging port is dead moisture detected and this 10w charger honestly does the job perfectly. Worth buying and having around as you never know when you might need it.
Good chargers but very slow, also don’t charge the phone up to 100%
Sits nicely on side table, and does it job like seller described
The product is exactly what I wanted and is great value for money – but it attracts dust like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Requires constantly cleaning.
Works like a charm, no more charging cables for me!!
A little slow to charge and sometimes has issues aligning but all good apart from tha
Easy to set up, USB B cable, has saved my sons iPhone 10 from dying after the charging port gave up and apple wanted an extortionate amount to fix it.
I got this as a back up to my main charger, especially as my phone keeps randomly saying water ingress in charging point. Works well but charges a bit slow.
Plugged this in to my wall usb outlets and just put my iPhone on it as I pass
Easy to use, does exactly what I need it to do without having to plug leads i
Great charger for iPhone as the charging part on phone is faulty and this charges grea
Bought this when the lightning connector port on my iPhone started getting dodgy and charging intermittently (wear and tear). Does the job perfectly and am no longer waking up to a 4% charged phone! I have bought several Anker products over recent years and I trust them as a brand. I don’t know how quickly it charges compared to other types but I use it overnight and is fine for my needs.
So grateful for this charger as my daughter was driving me crazy with the number of charging cables she was getting through! This saves a lot of ‘trying to connect time’ and further expense on new cables.
As title says, good clean design. Looks great.
My warning to buyers would be that this uses a micro-usb to usb cable, which is incredibly non-standard in this day and age.
I bought this for my new Samsung phone which was my first upgrade in a while so I’ve gone out and also bought a new wired charger, which in this day and age is obviously a USBC to USBC charger, meaning I’ve now had to place an additional order for a new usb port charging brick.
If this was more clear on the advertising I’d have probably bought them together so that I could use the dang thing I bought immediately. Quite frustrating, but hopefully this review might let people know to buy a plug along with this!
Cost adds up quickly when everything is sold separately. Hence the low value for money rating.
Great value and charging time is great when combined with fast charge plug
No more worries about charging connector not making a good connection into phone.
Works well. Decent electronic noise emission control as I can use this next to a digital radio. My previous purchase of a similar unknown Chinese brand from Amazon caused too much interference. Tried Anker as it is a known brand with a reasonable reputation and it works fine.
Very nice charging station. Using to charge an iPhone so not maximising the full 10W.
Nicely textured with a non-slip feel. No issues, behaves as expected and looks good.
Hubby wanted this charger for its ease of use which it is but care just needs to be used on placing phone in the correct position as slightly sensitive to charging position so if nudged can come off charge.
The charging pad works very well and charges quickly when used with a high output Anker adaptor and also when connected to my USB wall sockets.
The only problem I have had with it is that on two occasions I have thought it was not working at all, and each time this was because it had been turned upside down.
The problem is that apart from some embossed markings, the top (charging) surface and the bottom surface look exactly the same, so in a dimly-lit bedroom with middle-aged eyesight they look exactly the same. I think the device would be easier to use if the undersurface was a different colour.
After looking at various versions and never getting around to buying one of these changing pads, I plumped for this one. I’ve had it a good while now and it works fine. You do have to be careful to position the centre of the phone in line with the centre of the pad, but the little blue light comes on when it’s charging (and my phone normally makes a ping noise when it starts charging too). The light light isn’t too bright for use at night next to my bed and it’s just neater and more handy than plugging a lead in. And the base doesn’t slip around on my bedside table (or the phone on the pad for that matter) so unlike the old lightning lead, that always seemed to slide down between the bed when not being used, the changing pad is always just sitting there ready to place the phone onto. It hasn’t got the MagSafe thing that automatically positions the phone into the right place for charging, but I’ve never really had any problem with that.
All in all, I’m really pleased with it so would totally recommend it and Anker generally.
Value for money is good. No problems so far. Gets dirty (dusty) quite quickly.
Does the job, but you need to have a fast charging micro sd cable which I don’t, and I couldn’t justify an additional purchase, but overall it works
I bought this as a budget alternative to the Apple wireless charger. It doesn’t fast charge of course but is perfect for having somewhere handy to drop your phone onto to top it up.
I bought 2 of these, 1 works great, the second seemed faulty. I called Anker and a very efficient and helpful young man called Justin immediately sent me a replacement whilst still on the phone. Excellent customer service. Very impressed.
Good quality charger but very slippery on the glass back of the phone. Was forced to put some black rubber rings on the charger itself to fix this annoying problem.
Plug it into a USB socket and off you go providing your phone is compatible
Its ok. Doesn’t charge all phones. Takes a bit of messing about to get phone to connect sometimes.
Fast charging Qi charger with indicator on both the pad and power adapter.
My previous version (Belkin) failed after a year (they wouldn’t replace it) this was bought as a replacement, the belkin had a light on the pad and no light on the adapter so when one of the units failed you couldn’t tell which part was at fault. The Anker model has an indicator led on both pieces so if a fault develops or one of the units dies it is readily apparent which is at fault.
The chargers output is sufficient for multiple different devices and works well on iOS devices in my experience.
The lead is about 1m or so – enough for a bedside table or counter top, but probably not enough for a lounge and sofa type set up, however the power adapter is connected to the lead via a usb cable so it would be possible to extend it with an additional cable purchase. Only let down is the adapter has to be bought separately.
I’ve been using this wireless charger consistently for months now and I’ve yet to have an issue, it charges anything that supports wireless charging, quickly and efficiently.
One note, it does get rather hot and also heats up whatever is charging, so I wouldn’t leave anything sitting for too long!
I bought this for my desk at home because I was tired of moving about my charging cable from its usual location. It was pretty cheap, so I wasn’t too bothered about getting anything fancy. A few points, my phone has to be placed exactly in the centre of the pad or it won’t charge. And it is pretty slow to charge as well. But for the price, it’s pretty decent for passive charging
The product itself is good but does not come with its own power supply. I assumed it could be plugged into an apple ipad charger but when you read the info that comes with it you find the voltage output is not high enough and basically you need a specific type of power supply for it which has to be purchased separately. I dropped 1 star for this reaso
As the title suggests, this is a pretty good charger, and it is also at an affordable price. Only aspect I didn’t like is that it uses micro usb rather than USB-C, which means I need to carry an extra pair of cables sinc everything else I have is USB-C
Ignoring that issue, everything works perfectly fine. I charge my phone (Samsung Galaxy S21 FE) and my earbuds (Sony Wf-1000xm4) just fine.
The design of adapter is okay. Top and bottom of the pad is covered with dust attracting rubber. That’s good cause your phone will not slip over during charging.
And it also uses micro-usb.
These days it should have usb-c but it looks like not in this case.
The manual is straight and on the topic.
Overall, nice product. Works best with chargers labeled with Quick charge 3.0.
Quite a well constructed sturdy product. A nice soft rubber coating is applied to the top surface to protect whatever device you choose to charge. One thing i didnt like was the charging light was on the side of the charging pad and not on the front like most other charging pads. Also the light stays on and the same colour even when the device is fully charged unlike the oem samsung ones i am used to. I was expecting more from ‘Anker’ i suppose as the hammer in the point that this pad dosent harm the battery as overcharge qill not happen due to its smart cut out system installed. It probably does work but dosent give you any reassurance when it does not notify when fully charged. The samsung qi chargers always turned the charging light from red to green when fully charged giving you a piece of mind knowing its no longer chatging. Yes this product does do what it says without any issue and the pricepoint is very good. One of the cheapest branded wireless qi pads on the market. Just i was expecting more as i was used to the premium samsung charging pads at nearly triple the price of this Anker one.
I bought this wireless charger for 12 so it’s a bargain, it doesn’t come with a wall brick though and I had to purchase an Ankler wall brick QC 3.0 to get the full charge capabilities and that cost an extra 16. I would of liked that they added the wall brick and charged more for the full package. That aside I’ve used the item to charge my IPhone se 2020 at 7.5 watts max ( that’s the max that iPhone se 2020 can charge wirelessly) I’ve also charged my GF’s Samsung S21 at 15 watts on this wireless charger. Further I use the wireless charger to charge my Lypertech Z3 3.0 wireless headphones (5 watts max) . So for 28 layout I have a wireless charger that’s capable of charging multiple devices (1 at a time) and I have had no issues with it. It works flawlessly each time I charge a device and is very easy to use. Unbox plug it in and lay a device on top of it !!! It’s that easy to use. There is a blue light that indicates it’s powered on when you plug it in, the light goes off after 5 seconds if no device is placed upon to charge. Once you place a device on top to charge the blue light eliminates to let you know your device is charging. It really is that simple. It was bought to charge my mobile and my wireless speakers and it suits me for my daily charge for both of these items so that I am not required to use a wall brick charger. Pls note THIS IS NOT A WALL BRICK CHARGER AND WONT CHARGE AS QUICKLY AS A WALL BRICK CHARGER !!! However as previously stated it does work with many devices that support wireless charging, I’ve charged iPhone at 7.5 watts Lypertech headphones at 5 watts and Samsung S21 at 15 watts. The power of the charge IS DECIDED BY THE DEVICES MAX CHARGE RATE NOT THE WIRELESS CHARGER !!! I believe the charge rate max for the wireless charger is 15 watts. I am a lighter mobile user and 1 charge generally last me a day so it more than covers my recharge needs for my IPhone se 2020 and my Lypertech wireless headphones ( I only fully charge these every 3-4 days as the headphones supply 80 hours of playback off of a full charge as the headphones carry case doubles as a wireless charger as well. So this fully takes care of my daily recharge needs. however pls be aware if you are a high end user of your mobile device, you may need to speed up the charge speed by using a wall brick charger from time to time and pls be aware that whilst your device is charging you can’t use the device. In short it’s very good and decently priced, ( remember you need to buy a wall brick as well, preferably a QC 3.0 to get the max rate of charge, a standard iPhone wall brick is not powerful enough for the wireless charger! Ankler wall brick –
Quick Charge 3.0 – 18watt – 3 amp usb is perfect and available from Amazon)
Buy both together and your all set, the wall brick coupled with a usb wire will also charge your phone at a max of 18 watts dependent on your device if required. Like I said, well priced at 12 for the wireless charger ( IT DOESNT COME WITH A WALL BRICK) It’s very easy to use and set up, it works with several wireless capable devices – iPhone- Samsung-Wireless headphones etc. I have had no issues with it and it fully meets my charging needs. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a wireless charger, buy a couple and place around the home and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Clutter fee, set it up, leave in place and no more wires or plugs to deal with. It’s small enough to not stand out and cosmetically it looks good. No problems with slipping off a table, or the device slipping/moving whilst on charge due to the material it’s made from. Also my IPhone is in a wallet where I keep my cards and that doesn’t cause any issues with charging, I don’t have to remove my phone from the wallet and simply place my phone inside the wallet, on top of the charger and away it goes onto charge instantly. 5 stars and I would buy again.
