Bought for a family member as a gift easy to use and install
Easy to install, the hardest part is getting the cables through the wall/attic for the cameras, the software is reasonably straight forward.
My only gripe is the motion detection which I’ll probably have to turn down as the infrared LEDs (which are visible to naked eye) attract every insect and moth for miles it seems triggering constant motion detections.

Cons so far
.The bullet cameras that comes with the kit the ir led are exposed so it attracts months to it give false motion detection
.The camera is more like 720p/460p when mounted at sofe-it on a house when lowered it down haft way down the housing (about 10 foot from the ground) it could get details like number plates and people face
.The camera is made of abs plastic and now starting to go a light black allmost gray and the camera has only Been in service for about 2 month (in Northern Ireland a known place for rain and not a lot of sun)BUT still working for now
All in all It a very good starter kit

Firmware is packed with everything a normal person would need

Bnc cable good length and well made not like the eBay cheap style
Would recommend to people that want to keep a wee eye on thing when you asleep on in work just remember to put the sticker on 1 window so if the worse happen you can use it in court as the judge will throw the video evidence out if the sticker isn’t on show same with the insurance
I had a minor issue on purchase regarding connecting the device to my router. This was resolved promptly and beyond my expectations. The product works really well. Picture clear and much more reliable than wireless cameras I have had in the past. Recommended
I bought this as a present for my son to help protect his business and home. It was very quick to setup and works perfectly. The picture quality is excellent. He was so pleased that he showed me how well it works when I went round to visit him up near Salisbury Plain last night.
What a great piece of kit, simple to install, extra cameras are really cheap, 8 camera system if you need it. Make sure you get an internet link, the picture quality on the phone/iPad is brilliant.
As an electrician I have fitted a few over the years but this is really good, comes with a 1TB recorder as well, you will need a hole over 20mm as they each have a BNC connector and a phono connector so quite bulky, don’t forget to tape them up once connected to the camera.
Replaced my old system to Annke with night vision very happy
Under couple of years i bough it 5 set. This is the 6Th set for me.
Its incredibly easy to install, all of the wires are fully and clearly marked, you really cannot go wrong. The hardest part was getting into my loft/roof space and making my way to the edge in order to feed the wires through a hole that I had drilled in the soffit from the outside.
The cameras are so light they can be screwed to a plastic soffit or facia and still be very secure. The control box is also a breeze to set up and plug in, download the Annke vision app, scan the QR code and away you go.
Picture quality is surprisingly good considering the cost of the system, bright images with good colour and definition during the day, not so great at night but I suppose that is to be expected at this price point.
Even if you do not have a need for cctv you should fit something like this anyway, just in case.

Overall a really nice little system. Would have been easier to install if the connectors would have been removable. Getting a 15mm connector through a wall takes a bit of doing. Some cable clips would gave helped as well. That said its straightforward and the picture is pretty good, which us kind if the point.
This system was bought, basically for the DVR, to replace an existing DVR. My existing system had 4 cameras and, as the new purchase came with 2 No. cameras, I was able to add the new cameras. Initial problem was that one power supply didn’t work but I contacted Annke and they are sending a new power supply. What surprised me was that the new cameras are better than my existing cameras and so I have ordered 4 more cameras from Annke.
I looked at numerous DVR video surveillance devices and after checking the technical details of this device finally went for it. The package arrived next day and i had set it up in a matter of minutes. Running the cables to the cameras was a different story, I had to get up on roof ! When the cameras were finally fixed i have a great coverage of my property.
I have only given the device 4 stars because even though the actual video is great the actual set up home screen even though using HDMI does not have great definition.
However if you use IE and browse to the IP address it is much clearer and user friendly.
I had to use Annke support as stupidly I lost my password, they are great, quick response and extremely helpful.
All in all value for money.
Just installed these cameras, very happy with them, easy to install, thinking of buying additional cameras to the system.
The set up was quite easy apart from finding cable runs for the Leads that were discreet I upgraded my cameras with an additional two 5mp dome cameras which work perfectly giving higher resolution and clearer picture although the 2mp cameras are good

Bought the CCTV system and two extra cameras. Got a professional to install them. He had no problem setting up. The only issue was connecting it to my phone to receive notifications. The Annke Customer Service is excellent. You can’t talk to them as they are in America. They respond via emails, no matter how many queries/times. I feel
comfortable and safe knowing my property has good working reliable cameras.

Having installed many CCTV systems over the years it was refreshing to use this product, very easy to fit and the set up to use over the internet. Hats off to Annke for coming us with probably the simplest CCTV system to install that have seen yet.
The back up from Smart Home Brand Store was brilliant, my system was despatched missing a Camera and this was resolved within a day or so…. top marks bor service
So I was genuinely delighted by the system, it was working fantastically, and all at a great value price.
About 10 days in, it did however develop a problem. The hard drive failed, and it was showing “abnormal” in the settings and it wouldn’t record or playback. I contacted Amazon, and their response was to send the entire kit back for a refund. This wasn’t acceptable, as I just wanted either the box replacing as a unit or for a new hard drive. Ultimately I requested that they give me contact details for the seller. After common sense correspondence with the seller, they had me carry out various test. I was lucky in that I had an old hard drive lying around, and ws able to swap it out. It worked perfectly for days, but as soon as I put the old one back in, it would fail within minutes. It was conclusive that the hard drive had failed. The seller arranged a replacement hard drive and asked me to be patient. In all honesty I expected it to take weeks for it to arrive, but the reality was that arrived in two days! Great customer service.
So now the new 1TB is running perfectly, and we’re really happy with it. You couldn’t have asked for more. Going down Amazons route of returning the whole kit would’ve taken an age to take everything down, repackage, and then have to reinstall everything… so we were really happy with the sellers helpful approach.
Anyway I’ll wrap it up there, hope this review is helpful.

So after looking for a 2 camera stand alone cctv system with 1tb hard drive I had a choice of 2 products, the sansco and the Annke. So obviously I chose the latter and reason was the operating temperature went down to -10 Celsius as the cameras were fitted outside and some reviews told of other system not switching to night vision at low temperatures,
Anyway now I have fitted the annke system in our property and to be honest setting up the position of the cameras was the hardest part after fitting and then connecting everything up with an old flatscreen tv we had in loft I found navigating around the software very simple and intuitive, I didn’t need to use the manual supplied but having said that I did later read just as a precaution.
So reviewing footage is simple and the quality of the image in daylight is good! Night vision is also very good in all fairness and with a good range.
The Only downside…. the mouse but hay what do you expect at the price? Overall 10/10 but use your own mouse.
My only warning is this, put up visible CCTV signs so that if you do capture an intruder and use for evidence they
don’t escape prosecution by calling on entrapment clauses! Just to cover yourself if somebody is stupid enough to try stealing when they are being filmed on your cctv system.

Ordered a cheap system but it is actually much better than I expected. Added a couple more camera’s and works great.
Excellent quality cctv for the money. It’s easy to install. Ignore booklet set up and use YouTube guide. My only criticism is the instruction booklet needs massive improvement.
Finally installed and now up and running after some problems with set up. Annke support was sot on and got the system up and running in no time. Night vision is excellent and clearly shows people’s identity.

I looked for a few weeks online at reviews and it turns out most budget systems are the same but re branded.
I chose Annke because it was well within my budget and did everything needed.
The system arrived from Amazon on Friday at 5pm.
I had installed it by 7pm.
It was so easy I wished I had got one years ago.
The picture quality is good for the money.
Night vision is good too. I got a 1TB harddrive in mine and 2 cameras.
I will definitely add some better quality cameras.
I have ordered a ethernet cable so I can run the cameras on my phone.
It is a simple system that the average person can buy and install at a very small cost to protect their property.
I think it is good value for the money.

These cameras NO ISSUES what so ever. They are great perfect picture lots of features to keep a great picture. The instant replay is a wonderful option. Picture quality is spot on. The night vision is the best I’ve seen. Motion detection is great. You are able to narrow or select the area where you want to set a detection. So if you live near a road you can set the motion detection for the edge of your property so it isn’t activated every time a car goes by. The continuous recording is great and real easy to use.
Overall a great system really easy to use and setup.

Easy to install and extensive manual. The initial setup was easy, but if you use the Client software it can be a little difficult. However Annke Facebook page was very helpful in getting the client software working on my PC.
Very easy to install, and link to a phone, pretty self explanatory. And for the price, i don’t think you can match this to be honest.
The cameras supplied with the kit were Annke C11DP Dome cameras. The image resolution is lower (720p instead of the advertised 920p). I thought initially that they could not be angled – it seemed that their position was fixed with only a view directly ahead but this is not the case – simply that they are very stiff and looked like one sealed unit. On a positive note – the system is very easy to set up, even installing a hard drive etc.
Follow up: Thanks to Annke for their swift response and an offer to replace the cameras or provide a proportionate refund – the latter I accepted as I had spent ages tacking down the wires to install the cameras already. Despite the lower resolution the images are pretty good, in fact. For anyone having difficulty with changing the camera angle – if you push hard on the camera “ball” it does move out of the casing. That wasn’t obvious initially. It can then be adjusted. I have two unused camera slots on my system so can upgrade and extend with a couple of better quality cameras, later, if I think it’s necessary. Overall a good system for the price.

These cameras are exactly what I wanted something that didn’t break the bank but did the job. Don’t expect 1080p quality as you can guess from the price that is not going to happen. The quality of the product itself is really good and strong so wear and tear will not be a problem for a very long time I would imagine.
The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is due to the setup manual it is very basic but maybe it’s just me being a little stupid however plenty of videos online.

Having had cameras from many producers of different capacities/resolutions, I can let you know without reservation that these are the absolute best that I have had. The resolution quality is awesome. The determination is amazing, the frame rate is genuine, the interface is great and full highlighted. These are professional grade cameras and I will be buying more.

fantastic value for money, impressed with both day and night modes .very clear picture quality and that was only on vga output. I would deffinately recommend this product as it is up there with some of the more expensive kits.
