Machine is so quiet and quick wash is excellent. Highly recommend great value for money
This is a reliable machine with many different programmes. Easy to use. It does not tumble dry though.
This washing machine is perfect in every way although I’m still getting used to the programs , I haven’t and don’t intend using the app program , the 10kg leaves enough room for movement with king size duvet bed sheet and 4 pillow cases , the cost I’m definitely happy with and also paying 21 for all removing my old taking I think away and fitting my new one , the two fitters were excellent and went above and beyond so I highly recommend and delivery from ordering was only 2 days

Its a very quiet machine, the only minus
is the filter latch keeps falling down.
The manual does not state this anywhere I can see, but would be good to know: when the cycle has ended, the panel shows a code of “56Y” or “S6Y”I thought it was an error code and was pulling out my hair, but after googling, it actually stands for “Standby” and this code will always show when the cycle has ended and you have not yet turned machine off. Would have been good to know!!
Also worth noting – there was a fairly big dent in the front when it arrived – the guys pointed it out to me. I personally don’t mind too much, but you might.
I wish the dial was numbered and then it explained what the numbers meant because with the little pictures next to the dial it’s hard to remember what some of them are for. They are all put in the manual, but it’s annoying to get the manual out everytime you want to use a different setting on the washing machine. Other than that it’s a nice big size drum and is perfect for my family. Had no issues with it so far. So fingers crossed it works how it is now for many many years to come.
Bought to replace 17-year-old Candy and happy with this machine so far.
But not at all happy with the warranty registration process, which involves third-party insurance company Domestic & General – who have the most atrocious online reviews.
The extended 10-year warranty offered FOC is for parts only, excluding the “card” – which is the master circuit board. Does that mean this expensive component is prone to failure and has an inherent flaw known to the manufacturer?
After registration, I was bombarded with pressure sales calls trying to upgrade me to full parts and labour guarantee – cost 145!
Extended warranties are well-known to be a consumer rip-off, so are Candy looking after their customers’ best interests by involving a data-harvesting insurance company?
Consumers have statutory rights, which apply well beyond the first 12 months on electrical goods costing several hundred pounds. If the “card” – or any other costly component – on my washer should fail prematurely, I’ll be off to the small claims court without further ado. And I’d advise others to do likewise.
Shame on you, Candy. I registered my warranty at service.candy-domestic.co.uk, not with Domestic & General.
After several pressure sales calls, I deregistered and had my personal details removed under data protection legislation.
Wouldn’t recommend bothering with the utterly pointless App either. Waste of time, and another component to go wrong.
Fantastic machine . Works well, it was dropped off my husband fitted it and started washing right away. Very easy to use.
I have to say, I’ve come to expect issues and problems with so many large appliance deliverieshowever, this one from Amazon was the smoothest and best I’ve ever experienced. The delivery guys were quite simply great; polite, efficient and helpful. It wasn’t a straightforward job to position this washing machine in my outdoor laundry room, but they were great problem solvers and did it with ease with no complaints. The machine itself seems fine and should be perfect for my needs.
The unit seems well built. I find it dead easy to use. The fast, 10 minute spin is a godsend.
I love my machine. The boys who installed it were quick and efficient. It was not the most expensive buy, but it’s great value for money. Clothes come out smelling gorgeous.

Bought for my parents house, they can use it easily as the instructions are clear and precise, it can do big loads with no issues, the spin is very quiet as well which is a big bonus! My parents are very happy with this washing machine
Always have candy make…great value for money..looks good as a bonus…varied selection for all different clothes and stain level…loving the echo wash…can even work it through an app on your phone..whats not to love
I am very happy that I ordered this Candy washing machine. It’s easy to use and I like that it has a 14min, 30min and 44min wash cycle, which I use all the time. There’s plenty of spin cycles to choose from. The drum is lovely and big, for plenty of washing. Definitely recommend.

I have not yet attemped to conect my smart phone, I don’t feel smart enought, But my daughter is coming to show me. I have to say I am very happy with the machine and it performs as expected, I can’t say any thing about it’s noise, for the reasions I have given. I will point out I live a lone so no deeply soiled cloathes, but all the washing I have done is perfect. So I have to say I am very pleased with it. One point, there is a bit that is meant to go on the bottom of the machine, but the instalers didn’t put it on, and because of the comucation problems I have no idea why. It seemed to be a black sheet of material and go’s on the underside of the machine, I think I should have asked amazon, they are always so good about things, but I didn’t Ho Hum.

Looks super sexy and so quiet, my daughter and I installed thus on our own (which I always prefer to do if I can) and it was so simple and quick.
I love the bigger size drum so I can get more washed

Have not had problems with this. I like the 15 min short wash. The spin gets clothes nearly dry. Drum large enough to wash my double duvet. Love the colour as I didn’t want white. Very easy to install, did it myself.
Needed a reasonably priced washing machine as my old one suddenly gave up the ghost! Good machine, but same problem as with previous Candy – cover for filter doesn’t hold very firmly, keeps falling open.

Love the short wash programmers.
Love the easy dial system to select wash.
Relatively quiet, doesn’t disturb.
Just make sure you have FULLY disconnected the old machine as the Amazon fitters will not touch ANY of the old pipes to disconnect the old one but will only take it away and install the NEW ONE.

I only use the 40 wash and I set the cycle to fastest wash which is 1hr 25 min.

The washing machine itself is very impressive after a trial wash. However, the Amazon fitting team did not wear masks, despite me saying that my wife was ‘very vulnerable’. The younger of the two men could not fit our water hose properly (the supplied one was too short) and they left with a puddle of water on the kitchen floor. I fit the hose myself after they had gone, with no problem.
This washer is definitely one to go for if you are on a budget. Spend the little bit extra there is a big difference in what you get. I can’t recommend on longevity as only had for short time but it does what it says on the ti

1400 spin works well.Dont find this machine noisy on wash or spin.Plenty of cycles gets through washing pile quick.Good machine if u need a reasonably priced 8 kg machine would recommend u get one.Quick delivery which was a bonus.
It washes wellI mostly use the 59 min program. I like that I can use the present programme or adjust the temperature and spin speed myself. It is noisier than my last machine. I paid for a install but the delivery men were useless and didn’t even know that you needed to turn the ‘tap’ on the wahing machine water pipe
Havent used much yet as there’s only me.
The main advantage is being able to change the heat and spin speeds with the individual washing timers.

Early days for now, A family man, brought this machine on Amazon delivery was amazing only three days.

The most interesting thing I noticed that the -Machine adjusts everything so you get the most out of your wash plus energy.
It still does you programme.
Plus a count down led screen.
End of washing.
End of Door Lock with a audio sound.
Oh the 1400 spin is crazy, saving in drying time.

Our last washing machine was on the verge of failing so we needed a replacement quickly. Our choice for this model was mainly being driven by price and availability; ideally we would have gone for a model with a better energy class as this has an E rating which isn’t great.
First off I thought the service superb, the extra cost for removal of the old machine and fitting of the new one well worth it, and I found the fitters professional, polite and efficient, with the whole process complete in less than an hour.
We have had the machine now for around two months with it doing an average of two loads a day having no issues at all. The controls are simple and instructions easy to follow. The machine in my opinion is quite noisy but we have been more than happy with its washing performance.
Overall a lower end budget machine which does a good job of washing, it is on the noisy side, and has an energy class of E which means it will cost more to run and not as good for the environment as a better rated machine. I found the fitting and removal service superb and would recommend this machine if you are budget limited as was our case.
The only thing we found a little difficult to follow was the instructions for initial setup but we got there in the end …it’s fantastic good choice of washing settings and wide variety of times for a wash load depending on how long you have … Great family washing machine large drum (we are a family of 6 so I do a lot of washing)
Washing machine is fabulous as washing machines go. Very quiet and lots of different options for all your washing needs. Vibration very low, just make sure you set the feet correctly. Standard wash is 2 hours. 1000spin clothes came out fairly dry so only needed a few hours on the line.
Down load the app as it has some handy tips for little human clothes.
Very simple to use and the big door makes loading and unloading so much easier.

The order and delivery went like clockwork. I had it installed within the hour of delivery however on attempting to use it on a quick cycle just to see how long it took I put it on a 40 – 60 wash cycle…..2 hours later I manually turned it off and set it to rinse and spin
I later after again attempting to make heads or tails of the instructions put it on a 20 setting. An hour and thirty eight minutes later I again had to manually put it to rinse and spin.i think I may have made a huge mistake buying this model intend searching net for clearer instructions tomorrow. Will update if I discover any that allows me to do a quick wash in under hour and thirty minutes.
I am really satisfied with my my order, as soon as I receive it I started to use it immediately.

The delivery was great..I wanted free delivery so had a 12 hour slot but you are rung 30 mins before delivery and can track delivery van so I knew when it would be . 2 very nice Brazilian guys removed old machine, installed the new and removed all packaging in less than 15 minutes . They were polite and cheerful.
I had a backlog of washing so did 2 cycles yesterday on day of arrival. One using rapid 44 min cycle of moderately grubby stuff, other jeans cycle, this morning a synthetic cycle that weighs the clothes to make as efficient a wash as possible. All have cleaned the clothes well. I like the fact I can reduce the temperature and spin for all programmes . I use 20 mostly , occasionally 30. Not noisy and even.when on 1400 spin ( jeans ) the machine didn’t jump forward and the noise was acceptable..I like the way I can see how long a cycle will be and how much time is left.
Just really impressed…the machine but also Amazon’s delivery / service package for an item like this.

On Friday I tried everywhere to get a quick delivery on a new machine but simply couldn’t (Christmas, covid, you name it – all made it impossible.
Then I looked at amazon. Found this Candy and decided this time to go with a brand that has a good reputation for washing machines.
I paid 21 to have my old machine taken away with wrapping from new one, and the new one installed. Delivery was set for Monday and, if I’m honest, I was expecting to be left down on that.
So when I got a text from Amazon at 07:19 on the Monday, telling me they would be there in 30 mins I was relieved and surprised. Yes it meant they would be here whilst we were trying to get ready for school but we could manage.
Well readers, at 8:00 a.m. my new machine was in and on its test wash and the Amazon guys were on their way to their next job.
The machine looks lovely in situ and certainly the spin is quieter than I expected. Very happy and would definitely recommend giving amazon a go for household appliances. Curry’s and AO beware!
False advertisement in the product description, it has an EU acoustic level C, not A and it is quite loud. It’s easy to operate and was fairly light making it easy to install. Too early to comment on reliability.
