This arrived on time the guy who delivered it was amazing and I give him credit for getting me this on time the item is light weight and is very strong .is a very made and precise with digging and his a easy to use ..saves using a spade too, yes I am very pleased with this a lot of care as gone into the design and use.
This is a lovely bit of kit and is definitely value for mo et when priced against some of the bigger branded names.
In addition to a sturdy sleek design, you also get a holster included in the price. This is a must for those that belt mount their tools whilst out in the field!
Great piece of kit well made and sturdy worth the money
I bought this as a replacement for a Nokta Makro digging tool that just wasn’t up to the job. First off this is a strong steel construction partially serrated down either side with a pointed tip, rubber handle and depth gauge on the rear.
It’s not as light as some alloy ones I could mention so it’s a little heavier on the belt in its cordura sheath which is easily detachable to or from a belt with hook and eye fastening.
What it lacks in lightness it more than makes up for it in strength and it cuts through most earth quite easily. I don’t feel as nervous about levering out stones with it. I would definitely recommend it as a replacement to less sturdy makes where the blade and hilt are welded from sections and more liable to cracking. I consider this excellent value for money
Very strong and sharp has made digging in tricky areas easy
I use for gardening, weeding, pot emptying etc. which it works well for.
It still struggles with hard clay soil, and requires a lot of wrist strength, so I still use my mini hand mattock for tough soils
I would liked to have see the edge sharper and the serrated sections more like a saw teeth edge profile and the branding on the belt holder is a bit in your face ! Could do with being a bit more subtle
Overall I would recommend this tool
Handle could be longer but doesn’t make it a bad buy, just a personal preference or a big hands issue.

I used this to dig out a large deep root. It was excellent. Very sturdy and short enough to use in a close space. I am really pleased with it.
A very sturdy tool with handy pouch that can be connected to a belt or finds bag strap. Extremely solid piece of kit that with the serrated edge easily cuts through grass and soil. A great piece of kit for the detectorist. Highly recommended.

Borrowed a friend’s Dr.Otek digger tool for detecting over a couple of months and just had to review. The tool makes the job so much easier. It’s well built with a nice sharp serated edge for turf and root cutting. I’ve As durable as other more ‘silly priced’ makes with similar design. ( I preferred this one) Highly recommended
