Love it so far! Very user friendly and comes preassembled for us beginners. Would recommend highly to anyone who is wanting to get into 3D printing!
Gift for my husband. He loves it! It does take some trial and error when first getting started. Now he’s always down there making something. My daughter loves going down and seeing what daddy made today 🙂
My son received this for Christmas and he loves it. He’s used it a lot for small items. Still trying to get the feel for the calibration and what not but moving along fine.
The test print was a little off due to human error and knowledge. But once that was corrected the test prints were spot o
First off, setup is super easy. That being said the prints tend not stick to the base and the print head drags across the print and leaves grooves on the tops.
The quality of the prince of this printer are astonishing
This is my first time 3d printing and I believe I have gotten the hang of it. This printer is easy to use and does a pretty good job printing. I have not had any major issues, mostly software glitches that have yet to be resolved with windows 11 and the slicing software recommended by flashforge. For some reason when printing over wifi the printer will not be recognized or when it is it will start sending the file then go idle and not print. That being said, if you slice the file then save to a USB drive and print from that you are good.
Cons:
Cannot use cura slicing software
Cannot print over wifi
Limited to .5kg filiment rolls
Pros:
Quiet
Prints decent quality
Enclosed
Easy to operate
I had fun printing things and I hade old one and this was so good I want to tell you .
After starting with a cheaper 3D printer and spending a frustrating amount of time trying to keep the nozzle from clogging, I decided to purchase a Flashforge 3D printer. I am nothing but delighted that I did. Printed nicely right out the box. I’ve printed numerous items now with much success and no stress. The slicing software, Flashprint, works well too.
This machine was recommended to me by a good friend/vendor of mine for my son that is starting his education in robotics engineering. We do not have any other experience with 3d printers but when we did the research after looking at this recommendation from my friend this brand come up time and time again so I decided to go ahead with the purchase.
We got it and within 1-1/2 hours my son was printing designs that he had made in school that he didn’t have time to print on the schools 3d printer.
I was also surprised at how accurate this particular unit was able to make part to. I’m a tool and die maker of 35+ years and this was making diameters within +/-.0015″ of size. Roundness was also within the that spec.
All in all this was a great addition to help my son learn his future career and I’m glad we got it for him!
Products works great for a beginner right out of the box. Make sure you buy the right size spools to fit in this. I’ve learned quick how to download files on my phone and send them to printer. So far so good!
The printer is overall pretty good if properly calibrated and well-maintained.
Pros:
– quiet
– does fine detail nicely
– easy to set up and understand
– no bed leveling required (pro version)
– heated glass bed
– nicely contained so my cats can’t get at it
– well-lit and attractive
– easy yet reliable software
Cons:
– nozzle gets partially clogged easily
– makes popping noises when not perfectly clean (usually just at the beginning of a print)
– weak filament extractor servos
– has trouble printing PFEG (can, but not really worth trying)
– limited size spool chamber made for smaller Flashforge spools only
Overall, it’s a good machine for beginners so don’t be discouraged by the reviews from people not following the proper setup – most people that get into the hobby don’t have a clue about what they’re doing anyway.
You can fix the spool issue by printing your own extender. I designed my own but there are some useful designs already out there.
Keep the nozzle clean inside. It’s hard to do but they do sell pins that are helpful for cleaning. It’s easier if you heat those up with a lighter first.
As for the servos – maybe someday I’ll get the ambition to try replacing those, it’s a chore though and we’ll see.
This printer is great for PLA and doesn’t take up much space. I’ve grown quite fond of it over time and am frequently printing out designs I made in Solidworks (saved as STL files). I’d recommend it for any beginner with these notes.
Happy printing!
Adventurer 3 pro, Works straight out of the box, amazing value for money, well done to Flashforge.

After previously buying a faulty 3D printer in the past, I was a bit sceptical investing my money into another one. I am extremely glad that I’ve purchased this printer. Makes prints with ease, only needed to level the bed once. I connect my laptop to the printer and just a press of a button it does it’s magic. Not once have I had to calibrate it or unclog the nozzle before printing, works hassle free each time.
I have around 100 hours of printing from the unit and 95% of my prints turned out how I wanted them using flash forge’s default settings. for Some smaller objects you may want to use a slicer like cura to ensure the highest precision when printing.
Overall, I highly reccommend this printer to anyone who wants to introduce themselves to 3d printing. I run this in my bedroom and I can still get to sleep. It really is a quiet machine!
Note to buyers: print out the spool-holder in the above picture, you will be able to use larger rolls with the printer if you do.
Wow what can I say about this printer apart from its everything it says it is. Incredibly easy to learn and use, ultra easy to set up and all round fantastic printer.
Only down side is it doesn’t take 1kg spools but spool holders are easy to find and print out for this.
Awesome machine and I’m already looking at getting anothe
I will preface this review by saying that you need 3d modeling software (which does not come with the printer) to make 3d designs to print.
That said, once you have an .stl file (the file that you make with the 3d modeling software such as autocad) you can use a software called “flashprint” , which is available on FlashForge’s website for free, to modify the model and send it to the printer wirelessly.
I could not believe how easy it was to print right out of the box! (After LITERALLY just loading the filament and pressing the “homing” button)
I am so incredibly amazed by how easy it was to use this printer!
My one complaint is that the printer filament is not in stock on their wesite and it only comes with a small spool of salmon colored PLA filament.
That said, I cannot stress enough the fact that you need 3d modeling software (not included) to make 3d files and print them. Unless you go get some off the internet. If you want to create your own, though, ones that are uniquely yours, you have to get software to make the 3d models.
This printer is wireless. With the the Flashprint software, you can send the file to print over wifi. And it’s amazing how detailed it is.
The picture in my review (the little orange boat) i actually shrunk the boat downin the Flashprint software before sending it to the machine so it is actually about half the size it should be. If it was full sized it would look alot better (even though it was incredibly detailed and about the size of my thumbnail). The photos show you how detailed a budget 3d printer can be.
Easy to set up and use. Prints have come out great so far. Just wish it would take 1kg spools but that’s not really a deal breaker. Would recommend for beginners or intermediate users

This printer checked all my boxs for my needs.
Enclosed, heated bed, variety of plastics it can print (I got the pro model w/265c nozzle)
It’s not perfect… Bed leveling for one is a pain, fans are a little noisey. Cannot customize it too much.
But prints good out of the box with PLA, Others may need tweeks to settings.
Can’t ask much more for this price point.
Good printer over all.
Seeing a fully encased printer really makes you think “plug and play”, but with 3D printing there is no such thing.
When she is working, she makes great prints, and has a decent size for the build plate. However, as a complete newbie to the hobby, it was annoying as all heck to get start up.
Here’s some things to consider if you purchase this model:
1. The calibration can be utter crap. you will occasionally find yourself factory resetting and doing fresh calibrations because the variance gets a bit wonky after a few prints.
2. The common “filament wont stick to bedplate issue” with this model usually means you havent calibrated the nozzle close enough to the bed. i recommend the sticky note method, and elmer’s gluestick if it’s still not working. Also a plain dawn dish soap scrub will do wonders.
3. Polar Cloud is the only cloud software built in that I get good results with.
4. You may need to buy the v2 nozzle if you find your filament gooey and overheating.
5. If you are brand new: be prepared for a LOT of failed prints. I felt like i earned a degree in engineering after learning how to take apart and fix up parts so that she runs smoothly. But i promise- persistence pays off.
6. the standard spool is a .5kg, you will need an extension to hold full kg rolls of filament.
Good Luck!
P.S. Dont buy their brand of filament. It’s crap.
I love this printer I have 2 different brands but this is the easiest to use. The only thing I need to do is calibration now and again which again is so easy to do. This really is a plug and go machine. Highly recommend.

Looms very expensive once set up. Camera could be better. Great for beginners

Very good beginners model, printing within 30 minutes. Software instructions could be improved to explain software to slicer communion. Easily overcome by watching a few YouTube videos
I purchased this for my son’s 12th birthday. It is a great gift that I need to do all the work for. So not recommended for a youth. The setup was easy. Connected to my wi-fi without a problem. I found the software easy to setup and use. I’m using templates I find online so I don’t have experience creating my own design. I did have a clog that I needed to purchase a needle kit (along with other maintenance items). If you purchase filament from a different manufacture pay a lot of attention to the dimensions of the reel. I’ve made that mistake more than once. Print quality is great and I don’t have any smell (when researching I heard that is a problem with some printers/filament.) Highly recommended for someone without a lot of time to spend working on it.
Tried 3d printing a few years ago and found it frustrating and gave up. But with this printer it has worked straight out the box. With no setup at all every print has come out great. It’s a shame the spool holder won’t accept larger spools. But one of the 1st things I printed was an attachment that will hold a larger spool, so that was a very temporary problem.

I would give this 5 stars if this printer actually supported ABS and PETG the proper way. The max temperature with the current firmware is 240, which is kinda barely enough heat for abs, but just not good enough. Getting a lot of separation. I even bought the 265 nozzle and it’s going to waste..
Update. Ok so u can print abs but I had figure that out myself how to do it there are no instructions. But it still sux that u r limited to 240 degrees..I’ll add a sta
PROS:
– Plug and play.
excellent printer for beginners, easy installation and use, wifi connection work great, it is quite quiet and you can work on it even at night. I recommend using for printing / FlashPrint … easy to use and for slicing of stl for beginner is best .
Product is excellent but I had to watch a couple of hours of YouTube to try get laptop to link to the printer, set up of printer and to use is easy but the software link and laptop is very confusing with out guidance
Pros:
* Made quite a few prints straight out of the box with no issues – download model, load into software and with a click of a button send to the printer. For a first time 3D printer user that’s what I’ve excepted.
* Flashforge software is straighforward to use for a basic level user, no complaints – load the model, slice, apply supports if necessary etc. and print.
* Looks aesthetically pleasing, enclosed.
* WiFi definitely makes starting and stopping prints convenient, especially if you keep the printer in an isolated area to contain the noise.
* Camera is low resolution but good enough to monitor the print. You can view the print through your browser if you know the local IP address or flashforge software.
* Glass bed is great – no issues with adhesion. Once the model is printed power off the printer, wait for the bed to cool down and models almost pop off themselves from the bed or require a very gentle nudge at most.
Cons:
* Cloud functionality works but is slow and you have to use slicing software on the cloud which is very limited and again – very slow. Not really practical but depends on your use case.
* By no means it’s silent. During the print it’s loud, very much so. On idle it has fans running top speed – again, very loud and what’s the reason to do so in idle mode? As in you wouldn’t want to be in the same room loud for longer than a few minutes contrary to the selling point.
* Calibration process is not very straightforward. E.g. after calibrating using a paper between the nozzle and the base it may not actually be properly calibrated even with multiple tries. Is there a technique of moving the nozzle up and down multiple times in a certain pattern to avoid inaccurate calibration, motor backlash?
* Does not support 1kg spools so you are essentially expected to print an external extension or pay extra for smaller spools which are also limited in options. Having an external spool means you have to keep the lid off thus reducing the benefits of noise and fume suppression unless you 3D print a lid for this particular case, there are models online. Inconvenience. You could arguably drill a hole in the panel but… this shouldn’t be a thing.
* You have to manually power if off, you can’t do that through software. There is no standby mode once it finishes. When finished it goes into idle mode and gets very loud (fants). A workaround is to use a smart socket to control power from your phone/PC.
* A very minor gripe but the power cable socket connection to the printer is a bit flimsy and may need a bit of play and support to stay in full contact but once done it stays in no issues.
* Obnoxiously loud ear piercing welcome sound. Luckily can be disabled, luckily.
Overall I do recommend this printer despite for what seems a long list of cons. Nothing that can’t be worked around for the most part.

So impressed with this. The only failures are where I’ve have tried to defy gravity with what I’m printing. Note it only takes 500g reels on internal reel holder.
Prints well straight out of the box. Only had it for a few days but so far very pleased, time will tell if it keeps up this standard.
This is my first 3D printer, so take into account I have nothing to compare this to. But as a beginner I’ve found this printer to be a great introduction to 3D printing. I was initially reticent to try 3D printing at all as reading up on it, it sounds like a nightmare, with many, many things that can go wrong and issues to overcome. Don’t be put off! Using this printer with PLA filament has been a great first experience and about as easy as I can imagine it being. Print quality, in “fine” mode, is perfectly acceptable, and sometimes really good, depending on what you are printing. It won’t cope with very fine details (e.g. tabletop gaming figures), but I’ve managed to print relatively small models of retro tech (see photos) and for the distance they are normally viewed at the quality looks great (the close up pics show all the flaws!). The software that comes with it is fine and reasonably easy to use for the basics, certainly good enough to get the job done, though I have had weird issues with the slicing seeming to go wrong sometimes and leave holes or gaps in the model. This could be something to do with problems in the STL files though, and at least you can see the problems in the preview window rather than printing it and seeing the problem then. I created the models using Blender, which is a free 3D modelling program, but there are even simpler programs to use like Microsoft’s 3D Builder. Generally I’ve found learning how to create the 3D models on the computer to be the longest & trickiest part of the process – the 3D printing itself has gone relatively smoothly in comparison. On the negative side, I have had issues with stringing, though that was largely overcome with some changes to the default temperature settings; but the main negative is that the printer takes 0.5kg spools of filament, rather than the more common 1kg. This makes sourcing filament more difficult, more expensive and limits the manufacturers you can buy it from. There’s plenty of Flashforge PLA that fits the printer on Amazon, but if you want to use ABS, it can be more difficult to find 0.5kg spools (and shipping costs for ABS from the official Flashforge site are prohibitively expensive for the UK, they only seem to have PLA on Amazon, so that wasn’t an option for ABS). Overall, though, I thoroughly recommend this printer as a beginner’s machine. I’ve had great fun using it and being able to turn something digital into a physical object in your own home feels almost magical. It’s a great little hobby.

Prints really well and print bed adhesion is great and it’s pre assembled and no calibration needed good for a first 3D printe
Great for my first printer. I leave on default settings pretty much and print better than expected models 🙂
Very easy to use – my son had it set up Christmas morning – couldn’t get the USB port working despite trying several usb formats- but was able to connect via WiFi. (This could be an issue if you depend on WiFi for internet access – we have a WiFi card on pc so was able to use that for connectivity)
Great print quality although smaller prints are quite difficult to take off the print bed – inclined to scrape the print bed as you take off the smaller prints. My 13 year old is delighted with it!!

This printer is very large due to its print capability’s but as for software not for the faint hearted, there’s lots of settings and can be overwhelming at times, will print all types of filaments, but for TPU and flexible filaments you have to create and save your own settings and import or save and export them. As for the built in spool holder it’s too small won’t fit a large spool inside you have to remove the cover and feed it via a external filament stand.
If your new to 3D printing don’t get this machine just yet find a cheap and basic alternative, until you get the hang of 3D printing.

Really pleased with this 3D printer. It worked straight from the box and hasn’t let me down once. Store the filament properly and you should have no real problems. The software works well and isn’t too complicated.
I built a 3d printer a few years ago but it was not without its problems and printing was far from easy. This ready built and enclosed printer is just amazing. Works straight out the box on default settings with the Flashforge supplied filament. I did purchase another Flashforge branded filament and had issues with it adhering to the glass bed, however after putting a layer of painters masking tape on the bed, every print has worked flawlessly even using non Flashforge filament. Printing in fine mode extends the printing time but it produces really good prints. I can’t put it down, it’s been printing everyday for the last week and is a delight to use. AAA+++

Great starter printer it’s literally open box plug in and print. Adding filament is super easy although it only holds 500g rolls not 1kg. The printing software is super easy to use. However my printer I had to return because it stopped seeing any network including Ethernet cable and then USB. I did then buy a more DIY printer that had a bigger bed size as this one is to small for most of the things I wanted to print.

I now have two of these and they are great. I only print small items so the bed size is not a problem for me. Literally unpack and print. Super easy, great for kids as they’re is no hassle; it just works.

I am a beginner, I tried other 3d printers, and this one is the best if you are starting. A few tips:
-Make sure you understand the basics of 3d print, watch videos, etc.
-Just use regular PLA if you are starting, from a good brand, not too cheap. Other type would require a different nozzle, temperature setup, etc. lots of trial and error;
-forget marble PLA, Wood PLA, it will require lots of adjustments and you are starting
-Don’t worry about the printing size; you can always split your prints; actually it works better because you don’t want a 20 hour print to fail and you have to start over. If you are printing a figure, print a leg, an arm, head, etc, separated, if one fails it is less damage.
-you will not get a final product from the printer. I learned that if you use a primer and filler, sand, spray paint, it looks awesome
-Make sure you record your long prints, so you can see what went wrong on fails.
About the printer:
-Have to have: closed chamber does help with the prints
-Print software is made for the printer; you don’t have to tweak the options like the other software. It comes ready for it, I only adjust layer high, filling and support; I haven’t had to change anything else.
-Nice to have: wifi. It is convenient to be able to send it over without using a memory stick, but that’s it.
-Nice to have: camera. It is nice to check it live from time to time, and the recording option only works if you have the cloud
If you are starting: learn how to manipulate the 3d objects in Blender, that will help a LOT. I had large prints I have split and assembled together later.
All you need to do is down load flash print 5
Plug into you computer and start printing
Excellent value for money very impressed with the print quality
Only printed a few things and up to now printer has worked perfectlyhope to print lots more..easy to set up
Working like a charm, leveled easy as hell, and booooom you print, no wrapping no nothing with esun filament, I got 2 of them and my friend 3 and he never was in to 3d printing…. Just go for it. I tried other brands and they awful and always had flaws and falling bolts…. But this one after months still going strong!
I feel like the reviews are giving the amazon reviews are giving this printer a bad name because they were buying it expecting a 3D printer to be a star trek replicator – they aren’t, they’re still very much a big effort to use and maintain and probably always will be within all of our lifetimes.
That said, this seems to be the most user friendly one on the market. Yes! You still need to maintain it. Yes! You will have lots of failed prints when using different filaments. Yes! One day you will print something and it will be perfect and then the next day you will use the same file and it’ll fail. Yes! You will probably spend more time tinkering with settings in the (very good) provided slicer program. This is 3D printing. It is a hobby – this printer makes it and all round easier to enjoy hobby because of its ease of use, removable, cleanable & reusable print bed and easy to remove nozzle basically eliminates half the trouble most people seem to have.
If you are new to 3D printing and are not worried about or are interested in learning how to produce and edit 3D models in software like TinkerCAD or alike then get this printer, if you want a 3D printer you can download something from Thingiverse and send it to your printer like a word document and it’ll print perfectly every time, don’t get this printer and don’t get any 3D printer.

I already had a Resin printer, but wanted a filiment based printer to expand on the materials I could print with along with size.
Out of the box this printer is very much plug and play, the supplied test filement allowing you time to understand how it all works and even letting you print something quite large to show its strength as a device.
But it falls down a little on a couple of things. One thing it fails to do is explain loading clearly, it will feed the filament into the device but will stop before making it all the way to the extruder. I have to load it twice to make sure it hits home.
Another issue is changing out the extruder and cleaning the unit itself are not included in the instruction book. While videos are online it would have been nice to see inside the book.
The extrude itself is also not labelled on mine so go in aware that it caps at 240c and you will need to buy the hot extruder for higher heats.
The built in camera works to keep track of printing but is rather clunky while viewing through the cloud service but if you direct yourself to the IP directly it shows a real time view, just load up the cloud service first. You can stream it printing directly if viewed like this, which I have done to much success . The Web base application appears to sometimes interrupt prints crashing the unit for some reason but its rare to happen.
I networked the printer directly so I can beam my prints directly to it without issue.
Overall solid purchase, had successfully printed in pla, petg and wood.
Pros: easy to use, plug and play set up, low volume printing, easy print removal. Streaming compatability and value for money as a good entry level device.
Cons: standard none flashforge spools are. 5cm bigger so will not fit inside the side of the device but easy enough to print a solution or respool onto correct size as time goes on.
Instruction book would nice if it had a little more detail.

As a beginner myself I have had a great time using the Flashforge Adventurer 3 Lite.
It was so simple to use, very clear manual, and even the buttons on the printer were easy as well.
You will have to buy extra fillament, as I didn’t get much fillament at the start.
Enough for around 6 prints
the prints were really good, and the pretty high quality.
I tried some harder prints, and they didnt turn out as perfect, but that’s most likely because I didn’t slice them properly.
Even the software on this product was awesome and simple.
All in all, Flashforge did a good job.
It was for my son it looks amazing and
Well made and strong hes only printed
Of the red box at the moment but was perfect nice clear plastic so you can see what’s going on.
I got this to replace my Monoprice Mini 3D printer which I’d added a magnetic build plate and PEI sheets to so I could easily remove prints. So I was very happy that this printer has a flexible plate and PEI sheet already included. Adhesion is very good and the flexible build plate is easy to remove and flex to remove 3D printed parts. Also, it has a good build volume for most hobby uses and is much quieter than my old printer. It was also very well priced which I assume is partly because, as opposed to other Adventurer 3 printers on Amazon, the 3C has no camera built in (the hole is there, just no camera). Personally I don’t see much use for the camera so Flashforge having a slightly cheaper version without on seems a good idea. It also has WiFi built in and it was very easy to connect to Polar3D once I found out where the pin was on their website. Previously I just used the Cura slicer but being able to print straight from my Chromebook and Android table/phone is an excellent new way for me to do 3D printing. And it looks very nice too 🙂

We got this for our 13 yr old son as a birthday gift. We are very pleased with how easy it was to use after unpacking it. It was a great price and seemed highly recommended by a few technology media publications ( like CNET). We chose this model because we wanted an enclosed area for printing (we were worried about damaging the moving parts , our son can be little clumsy lol). One thing to note- we bought the additional filament that was suggested ( ” people buy these items together” ), but upon delivery we discovered the spool size did not fit this model printer. Luckily, It did come with some beginner filament to immediately experiment with. We easily returned the additional filament & ordered the correct spool (received 2 days later). My son has enjoyed tinkering around with it and creating small objects and hopefully will become more confident with larger, more advanced projects soon. He can operate it independently & is perfecting his filament change technique. The whole family has enjoyed watching the process & love the creative potential this machine has.
So, I am new to 3D printing, I mean Brand Spanking New. Never printed anything in 3D prior to getting this printer. I actually bought it for my 10 year old son since 3D printing is an elective he will be taking in the new school year. I waited to write this review because I really wnted to test it out and see what issues arose. Yeah, Dad has been hogging this printer since we got it. I am telling you, this thing is incredible. Almost a plug and play printer. Set up is easy, first print is super fun (the little cube), and I am blown away at how fun this is.
THe PROS of this are basically what I said above and that I have had almost no critical issues.
1. Super easy to load and unload filament
2. A lot of helpful YouTube videos to help you get started
3. Super clean looking design and easy to monitor what is going on.
So the cons of this printer are this:
I am still trying to figure out the FlashPrint software. Not easy to find, then the download was challenging, my guess is that it has to do with compability issues between Chinese and English systems, but that is only a guess. FlashCloud was relatively easy to set up. One thing I notice about the FLashCloud is that it seems to go down on the Pacific Time Zone from early morning (say 3-6am – not really sure) until about 10-11 am. Once we get beyond 11am, the FlashCloud seems to start up and run with no issues. That’s all I have right now.
There are some printing issues that I cannot really attribute to the printer, but more my novice-ness at 3D printing. That may change as I move forward, but I am having no issues running the recommended settings in FlashCloud. There is very little stringing, and I mean VERY little. Some very little bumps in the edges, but again, I thin this will improve as I improve.
If I could ask the manufacturer for some upgrades, it would be these:
1. Include a cable to connect the printer to desktop computers and make it easier to download FlashPrint software. This would really help when you want to print but the FlashCloud is being finickiy or moody with logging in. Also, USB is not functional without the FlashPrint slicing to convert into G files.
2. Allow to print MF files directly from Microsoft 3D files, this would really streamline the process, but again, I am new to 3D printing so what do I know.
3. The on-line camera is a nice to have, but for new users, I haven’t found it useful to use. The delay in monitoring can be up to half a minute (using FlashCloud) and unless you like watching paint dry, or prhaps QC issues, not really needed in my humble opinion.
All i all, I would HIGHLY recommend this printer to anyone new to 3D printing, it is so easy and a real joy to work with. Very little noise, and I haven’t printed with ABS yet, but soon, very soon.
p.s. all photos of parts were created using TinkerCAD – again HOW incredible is that!!! LOVE this printer.
Great printer out of the box. Very beginner friendly. It’s pretty quite for a 3D printer. What I love about this printer is the auto bed leveling and being able to slice on the computer and hit send to printer. Then it’ll save it to the printers memory storage and you can select it from there later if needed. Glad I returned my ender 3 v2 and got this one. The ender was cheaper but with the upgrades I had bought for it it ended up costing 50 more then this one and not the even close to flash forge’s quality. I had a BL touch which I returned before even opening, upgraded springs, all metal hot end, Capricorn Bowden tube, creality enclosure (which just that alone made the ender 3 v2 be close in price to this one and it ripped installing so quality was trash). All in all this printer is by far worth it. On this machine, loading and changing filaments is a breeze!
First printed out a calibration cube which came out fantastic. Then printed out the spool extension (in the video I uploaded) to be able to use my filaments. So far PLA is great, trying out PETG, then after I print a vent extractor I’m gonna try my roll of ASA.
Cons: the bed is actually pretty small but for most prints it should suffice.
1 kg spools won’t fit. You need to print a spool extension off of thingiverse
The flashcloud and polarcloud for remote printing isn’t really that great. Kind of slow.
So far the prints I’ve tried they’ve really stuck hard to the bed. They come off almost effortlessly except for the brim. I really had to scrape that brim hard to get it off.
Edit: 5/18/21 my first print with ABS (the item in the picture that’s inside the printer) came out fantastic and that wasn’t even the high quality slicing setting, also with no raft or brim. Printed also some cheap PETG, it took some bed leveling with a business card that’s thicker then paper but it printed fantastic with my own slicing settings, recommend to use glue stick or masking tape because that thing grips on the bed.
Issues I’m having:
-After a few prints had to level the bed in all 9 points differently because it was too close on one side. When the first few prints I did absolutely no bed leveling and it came out perfect.
-the usb slot is not reading a usb or sd card (doesn’t really bother me since it’s more convenient to print directly from the slicer).
-The camera is trash
Fixes
-To connect to flashcloud or polar cloud you need to activate only one at time not both.
-If you’re having issues connecting to wifi make sure you’re using the right IP. Mine connected to one address successfully but then after I updated the firmware it had a different IP.
-If your prints are rock hard stuck to the bed, calibrate your bed and move it 1 point higher.
Great little printer, unboxed, calibrated, loaded filament and GO!!!
Very quiet and surprisingly good prints. Great for beginners like me.
Out of the box review. I will update after a week or two. 4/11/21
This is my second printer. The lack of reviews was troublesome but I liked the design of this printer.
Pros:
– first print printer amazing. The calibration and printing where so easy out of the box.
-I love the enclosed design.
-while the nozzle is proprietary it is a great design. That is easy to clean and remove.
-filament loading of the sample filament was so easy.
-it has a jaunty toon when you turn it on.
It prints pretty fast compared to the last one I owned.
-resolution is good- they are strong prints.
Things I wish I knew before I ordered:
– it can only hold .5kg spools. While the first thing I printed was an attachment for a full Kg spool you must leave that section open to use it. I’m not sure if this would have changed my mind on the purchase just wish I knew.
– I could not get the WiFi to work. I finally just plugged in an Ethernet cable and that worked fine.
-I have also not been able to get the camera to work but I have not tried very hard yet.
04/15/2021 update
Got the camera to work just fine.
Out of 16 prints only 2 have failed.
I like the fact that it’s enclosed, as it looks good but also captures any fumes or plastic particles that may occur. Also the casing makes sure dust doesn’t settle during printing.
The Adventurer 3 was recommended by a friend, I’m new to 3D printing.
It’s just amazing. The bed size is slightly small but I haven’t found it an issue and makes the overall size very compact.
It takes the Flashforge 500 gram spools and, for me, they last for ages. I use PET G as my default filament and have no problems.
I did have an issue initially when trying to remove the ‘model’ from the print bed when finished and found the best solution was the ‘glue stick’ method, to coat the print bed first.
The easiest way to remove the print bed is to let it cool down, push down in the centre with one hand, with the model still in place, and pull on the front catch of the bed at the same time with the other.
The most difficult decision was what 3D design software to use. After trying numerous, including Tinkercad, I ended up using Microsoft 3D Builder. I found it very intuitive to use and love the clean uncluttered presentation. It also has the ability to import images. If I’m making a holder for something that has a complex shape I take a photo to get the outline and import. It makes the design work so much easier.
Hours of endless fun and practical too

This was the first ever 3D printer I bought. I loved how simple it was straight out of the box to get set up and running. For me, plugging it in via ethernet was the easiest thing to do and that way I didn’t have to get up and fiddle with anything if I needed to update any firmware on the machine or when I wanted to print, I could do it all from my laptop.
After playing around with it for a couple days and getting used to the printing software, settings etc, I then started printing a bunch of little test pieces. After a week I got brave and started doing batch prints of 4 models that I want to sell, that came out great so I pushed it further and eventually got to printing 8 models in a batch and even left it to print over night with no issues.
This machine only takes the smaller 500g spool of filaments but thankfully some wise people of the internet have designed a larger spool holder that you can print on your own machine and then that will allow you to buy the larger 1kg spool of filament and print without any issues.
Overall I’d definitely recommend this as it comes out the box ready to go, you just need to follow the instructions on how to load the filament and you’re good to go!

Surprisingly good printing quality.
The built in camera working only with flash cloud. And need a strong wifi…
The smartphone app provided on play store it doesn’t work at all.. Don’t even bother yourself to download it! But the free PC slicer app works very well, and absolutely usefull.
Overall very good build quality, i thik the enclosure is very important on a printer, and makes it quiet, but still not recommended in your bedroom.
I think absolutely worth every penny.
This printer is amazing! I was hesitant to take the plunge but I’ve been so glad I did! Really am so happy with it! For the price it’s a real steal! If your a first time user like I was Search flash forge on Reddit for tones of advice and help!
This is my first 3D printer and I am extremely happy with it. It was easy to set up and I’ve printed something everyday so far with it. I print from a cheap usb I brought from Amazon (tip make sure files have gone through your slicer software otherwise you won’t see anything in the usb when it’s inserted into the printer). I printed the chillers in the photo using tinkercad and they printed really well on the printer. I would be tempted to buy another so I can print more stuff.
I bought this to replace my Flashforge Finder, and have loved it. Straight out the box to print in less than 30 minutes only failure I had was operator error. I printed out an external spool holder so I could take the larger size reels and it works perfect. Easy to clean out extruder.
Massive step up from the Finder at only 50 more it’s great value for money.
The level of quality is outstanding and
After the latest update that supports 3mm nozzle it work perfectly without any clicking noises what so ever.
I recommend unlocking expert mode on the software and tinkering with the print settings for best results.
Last thing I tried was translucent PLA 5mm layer height with 2 shell thickness and the result was staggering! Zero visible lines and enough robustness that it won’t crack! (I did a QA test by throwing the figure down the stairs)
Great produc
I’ve been using a ender 3 for 2 years now and decided to add another printer to my collection. I selected this one as it’s fully enclosed and a good brand. I’m not disappointed at all, it prints very well and easy to use. Nice features like WiFi and cloud support to print from. Also the touch screen is very useful and makes printing simple.
Can’t fault it so far.
This is a great printer, it’s print quality is amazing, definitely worth the price!
Excellent quality 3D printer for such an affordable price. So easy to set up and connect with my laptop and love the camera function too!
Support has been great with after sales message sent to me offering me advice
This is the third 3d printer I own and I’m pleased to say I am impressed.
I have owned other printers in the last and found they have all failed prematurely but due to the lockdown downtime I took a punt on this one.
The Machine is well built and prints perfect each time.
One of the best things you can do if convert it to use a Eod Nozzle instead of the included one. I have also converted it to use a glass bed.
The downsides are;
No filament detector has not once Worked unfortunately.
ABS printing I have found difficult with this machine.
Small 150 x 150 build volume.
Levelling of the bed is difficult.
Brought this as a 1st foray into 3d printing. Easy setup, great quality prints for the price point. If I were to buy again I would perhaps go for something with a larger bed size for a bit more flexibility. Not a 5star printer but very good for price point.
This is was my first use of a 3D printer and all I can say is…it’s great! The default settings out of the box are fine for PLA. When printing with ABS I found that bed adhesion was a little lacking (bed temp 100’C), to combat this issue I used a glue stick, I put a very light coat on the print bed (wiped off excess with a damp paper towel) now I have no issues with printing ABS. The printer itself comes with an excellent “Free” slicer program. The prints come out crisp and without defects using the high quality settings.
The only real downside to this printer is the fact that you cannot use normal 1Kg filament spools inside the printer itself, but after a quick look on the internet you will find lots of adapters that you can print to use these spools.
I would recommend this printer for someone getting into the hobby.
Really good printer for a newbie like myself, very easy to use and I love the little sound it makes when it turns on or completes a print.
Brilliant 3D Printer! Purchased mine direct from the manufacturer instead of Amazon.
Prints like a dream, but make sure you use high quality branded filliment, found lesser quality filliment although does still work has a tendancy of clogging the nozzle.
Bar this, it’s a great printer! Very quiet and the enclosed housing keeps the print bed free of dust and dirt of which can effect prints!
