GardePro E8 Wildlife Camera, WiFi, 32MP 1296P Trail Camera with 100ft Night Vision 0.1s Motion Activated, Camera Traps for Garde
MORE IMPORTANT NOTES FOR YOUR INFORMATION
1. The connection principle of mobile phone and camera is that Bluetooth is used for discovering camera, WiFi connection is used for data transmission such as preview, playback, image transmission and settings.
2. The E8 only supports direct Bluetooth and WiFi connection between your phone and camera. It is not supposed to connect to a WiFi router, WiFi hot spots and network. In open areas, the WiFi connection range can reach 45ft.
3. The WiFi App does not support the function of movement notification. You can open the App to check the camera’s capture area or preview the gallery.
4. When your WiFi camera is connected, motion detection will be disabled. If you disconnect your WiFi camera or close the App for 90 seconds, your camera can detect movement again.
5. The battery can be easily removed by pulling the battery out of the connection between the two batteries.
How to choose between the GardePro E8 and the GardePro E6:
The minimum focussing distance of the GardePro E8 is 2.5meters(7.5ft). If you want closer, it is 1.5meters(4.5ft) on the GardePro E6. The E6 has wider field of view than the E8.
If you want to view closer animals, traps, it is recommended to use the E6, which has a larger viewing angle and looks wider. If you want to view farther animals, it is recommended to use the E8, so that distant objects look closer and clearer.

Bought to try to get images of badgers, foxes, deer and any other wildlife around my property. The pictures are excellent as is the video quality. The only sound I have captured is the movement through the undergrowth so don’t feel qualified enough to comment.
I was a bit apprehensive when I bought this – I had previously tried a Ceyomur camera which I had to return because I was unable to connect the app and camera through the Wi-Fi. I’m pleased to say there were no such problems with the GardePro which connected first time! It’s simple to use including changing the various settings. I wanted a camera to see if we had any visitors to our relatively small and enclosed garden, especially as I’d built a pond during lockdown. On the first night of use I caught a fox snooping around, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Definitely recommended.
Works well, thickness of house walls restricts reception, but within range excellent performance
I use this daily to watch the local foxes. Great device, except for small niggles:
Connecting is slow, and I need to be within 10ft of the device;
Doesn’t connect to home WiFi network, so phone has to attach to the device’s hotspot;
Please add auto time sync so I don’t forget.
edit: I find it pretty unusable now. Long pauses in playback with frozen images. Some videos stop half way and won’t restart. Shame
This camera has been amazing however I can not seem to get it to take color photos and videos, everything is black and white. Maybe Im doing something wrong but I can’t figure it out. Other than that the pictures and videos are incredible!
This a simple and very useful little camera for taking night time photos of visitors to our garden.
Setting up is very easy using the WiFi connection, allows you aim the camera precisely.
Downloading is a doddle and the night time images are really clear.
We have hedgehogs coming to a feeding station.
It’s really nice to see them bumbling around. We also have a fox who visits.
No problems with that. They just ignore each other. Motion detectors very sensitive and nighttime illumination very clear.
So far just used the single images. I’m going to try video next.
Maybe update this review once I’ve tried it.
a sturdy and reliable camera, good picture quality and economical on batteries, it does not come with an SD card so one needs to be purchased, make sure you get a really good one and this makes a world of difference. I have used lithium batteries and Duracell both of which work fine. As mine is up a tree reliability is important, and with this camera i have got it, and when i experienced some set-up issues the supporting customer service could not have been better. A good all-rounder.
Solid and reliable unit, immediately put to use catching wildlife day and night. Image quality far better than expected and particularly night vision. Easy to adjust settings such as PIR sensitivity. Great value.
Bought this for Forest School and it is fab. We have had lots of really good photos and videos. I was going to purchase two more but the price has gone up unfortunately. Shame.
After trying various cameras i found this on to be excellent have been using for 4 weeks now still the same batteries picture and video quality is excellent , night time is very clear and easy to view and setup on me android phone
Brilliant bit of kit, instant motion detection and really good pictures and videos, the wi fi works well. Had it for a few months now with no issues at all.
Only just getting used to this camera, recorded hedgehog and mice from distance of about 10′ so far. Only disadvantage noticed is lack of a second strap to tie the camera to a post or tree
I’ve owned a few wildlife cameras and this is noticeably better than any of the others – particularly for capturing wildlife in the garden overnight. It’s night vision / motion detection is far superior.
Easy to use. Really quite a good image. Great price. Much better than I anticipated.
I liked how easy it was to operate and to set up, would highly recommend it. We had great videos of the local wildlife.
Far superior to previous lower priced cameras I have bought.Definately worth the extra money
Good image quality, but not great.
Sensors seem to be a bit slow before activating with motion.
It does catch things, and we have already got some lovely footage. But we have definitely missed a few things too.
A solid 4 stars.
I brought this as it sounded like an elephant had moved in, so now I know I’ll be moving it around the house to see how it’s getting in. Hopefully he don’t bring his friends home for a party. It’s easy to set up and to connect to the WiFi. Then go back and check footage. It’s not like a ring doorbell that pings you a notification there’s movement. You have to check camera or go into the app to check. As you can imagine it’s pretty dark in the roof and picked up footage well. It didn’t come with batteries or card, so there’s an extra purchase too. I’m happy with the purchase.
I’ve owned various makes of trail camera’s over the years with this model being my first delve into the WiFi variety I’m extremely pleased with it’s performance so far . Firstly it’s a proper chunck of a beast feeling well made and solid.
The WiFi connection is simple to initiate and surprisingly fast to connect with my old galaxy s7.
I’ve experienced no false triggers as yet while both the video and photo quality are more than acceptable . For the price I can’t fault it. Will keep this review updated as time passes thanks for reading this short review.
REVIEW UPDATE ON 16.2.2022:
Camera still performing beyond expectations going to order another of the same also very tempted to try the A3s model.
Pleasantly surprised by the battery usage / life , for a WiFi camera much better than I had expected.
This trail cam is surpassing my expectations. For the price, it delivers quality photos, day or night. I like the features and easy settings. One “extra” feature is that you can turn it “on”, close the camera and walk away. It automatically switches to surveillance after about 5 minutes, so it doesn’t take photos of me as i close up and walk away.
We got two cameras to catch the wildlife in our yard turns out it’s great as a surveillance camera also, as we caught two kids on video trying to break into our vehicles. Video was turned over to police but unfortunately they have yet to be caught.
Best trail camera hands down for the price and I’ve owned many. I have about 10 trail cameras top name brands like Moultrie, Muddy, Wildgame, Stealth cam, Reconyx, blah blah blah you name the whole shabang and a bunch of other Chinese knock offs like “HAWKEYE” from Amazon that I’ve had to throw away over the years…..but this one has me surprised. I purchased both the E5 and another non-wifi version in 20 mega pixel quality that is a 2021 version and both are better than all those that I have even those at a similar price from Dicks or Tractor supply. The quality is VERY good when you put it at max quality even at night. It can take a combination of Videos (5 or 10 sec.) and Photos. I’ve had the camera out for 1month and have had over 3000 photos and videos combined and not one little bar of battery has gone away, it is still fully charged. The other brands especially that HAWKEYE brand that I purchased on Amazon by now would have a lower battery because they are so battery demanding for absolutely no reason, not to mention it got water within a month and I had to throw that one away. This GardePro doesn’t even get fog on the lenses…it’s incredible. The other exceptional thing I love from this camera is the simple ease of use. It has a very good display and interface that is not too fancy and gets the job done. I have a little lock on it plus the camera itself is programmed with a 4 digit code so no one can touch the settings. The best part of it all is you just slide the button to off, do a SD swap and slide it back to ON and press start. That’s it. Good to go again. You have a 30 sec. or 20 sec delay until your camera starts to take pics and videos again. The battery level is very easily displayed in the bottom corner. If you don’t like overcomplicated trail cameras then this is a very good camera and the quality is not any different than those $100 plus. PLUS you won’t have to spend another $100 in batteries to keep it running like those remote cellular Moultrie cameras that it’s sole purpose is to not have to go get the SD card yet you still have go replace the batteries every couple weeks because the cellular plan drains the battery. It’s a joke. Stick to this one. It’s a winner in my book. Those who say otherwise about this camera still need some time to experience how worse the other cameras are.
This camera has great daytime pictures and video. The trigger time could be a little better and the night vision pics could be better. Overall, for the money, it is a good camera.
Used to track a skunk problem. Got more wildlife than we thought we had.
I’ve been happy with this camera. We were curious who was prowling in our yard during the night and so far I’ve caught a neighbor cat. The picture quality was a bit blurry at 720 but is plenty clear at 1080. I’ve set it to take a picture and then a 10 second video. So far I’m happy with it. It’s easy to change any of the options and it’s easy to remove the memory card. I like to view the pictures on my laptop and then save them and reformat the memory card.
I have had a lot of pictures with nothing on them. I’m not sure what is causing the camera to trigger but I don’t seem to have anything that would trigger it. The sound quality if it is turned on is not good. I have gotten some great pictures from wildlife and it is very clear. The only con is the amount of times it triggers with nothing there and the sound quality. Beyond that it’s a great camera.
I have not had it long enough to need new batteries yet. The pictures are good.. great night shots.. I have adjusted the PIR to medium from high to slow down the amount of photos with nothing in there and will see how that works.. Picks up on subjects quite a distance away. Have not tried video yet. Am happy so far with the way it works.
The night vision glows red just a little bit but I was impressed with the night visio
So far seems to be a great camera for the money Great Pictures also.!!!
