So far haven’t had any issues and it is easy to set up. I really like that you can program 6 meals per day – My dog eats too fast so I have set it up to dispense 3 separate portions for each meal with a minute in between. My only worry is my dog might be able to break into it, but we will see.

We can’t always find people to feed our two cats when we’re away, so we took the plunge and bought this automatic feeder. We couldn’t be more pleased. Good quality, easy to use (with a bit of a learning curve) and reliable.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is my first time properly investing in an automatic pet feeder. I think I previously had brought some for a family member but I didn’t use them. I think they actually broke.

So, anyway, I chose this one as it had good reviews and I needed a feeder that could hold a good amount of food and could feed two cats at once.

I did have some initial issues with this item but I have now figured out how to switch it on (they put the on/off button in an odd place!), set the times and then portion sizes.

It works great now! I hope it lasts though! I love the fact you can record your voice on it. I’d preferred to be able to record 2 different messages, for lunch and dinner. But it feeds the cats so thats what matters!

It would of been good if it had an app and so I could make remote manual feeds.

    Happy with purchase so far!

The seller is very responsive too!

Easy to programme and set up and good storage. Fits our food size kibbles, which is ‘Science plan’. Cats seem fine with it. Looks easy to clean. Happy so far! Was just frustrated when setting up as I couldn’t find the power button which was in a different place than the diagram, so hunt for it!

Like the way it keeps the settings even when it’s been turned off. I havnt added the batteries and am not sure what purpose they serve. With the display was in a different place as it’s a bit tricky to read unless you set it up on a counter top. You could just leave it on the whole time (except for me, one of my two cats would get very fat and the other would be hungry)

Good for regular feeds with easy to set portion size and spacing of feeds.
Only negative, the cats were initially put off by the biscuits hitting the metal bowls, but this quickly settled

Super product. Adaptable and easy to use. Clips to secure the top section are slightly temperamental but once locked in place do a good job.

Bought this product to use over the Xmas break when we went away for a couple of days leaving our cats. This feeder is great if you have two animals like us as it feeds both at the same time from two separate shoots. You can control portion sizes even down to setting these differently for different meals during the day and set it to dispense food whenever required through the day. We used it for breakfast, lunch and dinner which is when they would normally get fed. We were very pleased with it and have no negatives.

This feeder has been the best addition to the feeding routine of my two cats. I initially planed to buy this to automatically feed my cats if I was away for long hours in the day or went away for the weekend but it has also been helpful to make my larger cat feed intermittently throughout the day as he will just keep eating if he has the chance. This helps him eat smaller portions throughout the day and this is a very reliable device – once the meal times and portion sizes are set the feeder will dispense regularly on the setting chosen. The machine is very good quality, easy to clean and is easy to set up.

Easy to program, convenient, cats love the sound of my son saying ‘Luna, Lyra, kibble time’! Only drawback is the sound of the kibble hitting the stainless steel bowls makes quite a racket, but we have gotten used to it! Highly recommended

This has made biscuit feeding for my cats a lot easier – it was pretty easy to program and it keeps the information if you unplug it (which is very handy). Portion sizes are about 5g a portion but you can easily set them as needed and it splits pretty evenly. The bucket for biscuits is massive too so can fit plenty in and recording the message for when it’s about to go off works well albeit a bit quiet.

All in all pretty good, has made my life a lot easier!

I live alone and work a job where I sometimes am away for 12 hours or am on a night shift. Because of this when I decided to get some kittens I knew I needed something to feed them because I wouldn’t alway be in at the right time.

I have 2 cats so the splitter included with this meant I only needed one machine – bonus.

I found the instructions easy to understand and had a play with the machine to work out how much food was in 1 portion so I could program in the right amount.

I would suggest priming the machine with the manual serving button before you leave it because if not it may not spit out the correct amount of food the first time.

One of my cat saw me refilling the hopper but couldn’t get in although he tried his hardest. And the machine itself is low enough that it fits under a side table.

Overall I am very impressed. I am also entertained when I am home to see the feeder work!

Arrives as advertised. Easy to set up. We were sceptical because of reviews of cats outsmarting the system (our cat is clever) but it’s pretty cat proof. We bought this originally to serve our kitten breakfast (so we wouldn’t get woken up at the weekends). Since then, it’s allowed us freedom to be out of the house at usual feeding times and there’s less of a demand on cat sitters if we’re away. We’ve had this nearly a year with no issues. I recommend not overfilling it as we suspect food is going stale, but can’t tell if it’s just the cat being fussy.
We recommend weighing a few portions to get an average mass per portion, otherwise it’s difficult to judge how much is a healthy dietary, especially if you switch from kitten to cat food

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI did not receive any incentive for this review and I actually nearly did not buy as previous reviews mentioned to be careful about 5 star reviews. Anyways, I bought it because there was nothing similar and my cats bullied me every single morning to give them food at 3am, 5am and 6am. I just wanted something that can help my cats to be in schedule and also associate food with, so that I can get my sleep, work and earn money buy the furry babies products like this. And yes it worked.

    What I needed:
    1. Can feed 2 cats
    2. Can adjust the amount of the food and frequency because both are fat (not my words, vet said so!)
    3. Would still work if the electricity is gone
    4. Would still work if there is no internet

    What I got:
    1. Beautiful plastic splitter that splits the food into 2 bowls that are not plastic but stainless steel. Sometimes one bowl gets 1-3 more biscuits so it is not highly accurate but I don’t think this is a problem.
    2. Each time the roller rotates; an amount of dry food is dispensed. For me, 4 rotations corresponded to 20g at each bowl. It is possible to adjust the rotation from 1 to 40. And it is possible to schedule it at 8 different times. Roller is nice and wide and I cannot see it clogging.
    3. Feeder has 4 large batteries that I purchased the next day, I think that would support the whole unit for at least a week. That was the most important feature for me because I was worried that feeder lose all the settings if there was a power cut and my babies would not be fed on time when I am out. After I installed the batteries I cut the power and feeder just worked fine.
    4. Yes, smart feeding is great but is it really necessary? I did not want that on purpose because I really have EVERYTHING smart at home and wanted something that is hassle free and did not care if the connection dropped or not.

Overall, I like this feeder and I recommend it. It has been 1 week and it just works fine. There is also a feature where it is possible to record any noise before feeding so that cats will know it is food time, if you don’t want any noise it is also possible to delete it.

    Product Improvement Suggestions:
    – I think it would be a nice touch if it had camera on it (I know what I said about smart lol)
    – A screen between 2 cats, like a privacy screen
    – Different colours for the feede

Great product price delivery and quality, working out the portion sizes was a little tricky but once the system was set up it works amazingly well. I guess when first set up it takes a while to feed the hopper I tried several settings resulting in enough food for a week dropping out on the max setting (48) I have an adult cat and set the feeder for portion size (2) twice daily. Hey presto job done. the cat even comes when called from the automated call setting. all in all highly recommend this product and seller 5 stars

This has honestly made our lives so much easier. We have a cat that is on a weight management programme so we feed her 5 times a day (small portions) and this has helped us massively. You need to weigh the portions out to begin with but is easy enough to calculate portions sizes that way. We originally recorded our voice but found our cat getting really scared if it woke her from her sleep so we turned that off. Otherwise, easy to wash and easy to use, and would definitely recommend it to others.

The previous model A36 was awesome but this new one is so much better! It’s much quieter and easier to programme. It has higher capacity and there is no way my cats can now help themselves to free servings (they learnt how to press the right buttons on the previous model) I’m very happy with the upgrade! Plus the new blue colour matched my furniture so +++!

We bought this feeder for our 2 young cats, as they were constantly waking us up at night to be fed.
After a day or two of adjusting to the new mechanised feeding process, I can say, that my 2 cats are bothering me much less now for food, overnight.
The machine makes a quiet whirring noise when dispensing food.
The gentle clatter of the biscuits landing in the stainless steel bowl is actually noisier than the mechanical sound.
This has had the effect of making a quick association between the feeder and its function for my cats.
They now loiter around it rather expectantly.
Apart from the 6 programmable feeding times, the feeder features a manual feeding button (you don’t have to use all 6 programs).
This allows a portion of food to be dispensed at any time between the pre-programmed feeding times: very handy if like me, you have biscuit addicted cats.
The feeder supports 48 different portion sizes that can be programmed with each of the 6 meals.
I only have 2 small cats and have found that the smallest portion size is sufficient for both of them, when spacing the feeding time 3 hours apart, during night time hours.
I anticipate that as the youngest of the 2 cats reaches full size (and if I stop working from home), that I may increase the portion sizes, for some day time feeds.
The feeder will accommodate most shapes and sizes of kibble/dry cat food.
This is very useful and we have mixed several types and sizes of food together inside the feeder hopper, in order to both maintain interest in the food and to maintain a balanced diet.
The result being: the pace at which our cats eat, is now more controlled/slower.
This may seem trivial, but for me it means that they have to think more between each mouthful, which means slower eating and better digestion.
This is a bonus and an unexpected side effect, as they now eat less biscuits overall.
My only feature request would be, that the voice recording could be selectable for each feed: at the moment it can either be on or off for all feeds.
This would be beneficial as initially it helps to direct the cats to the feeder for meal times, but is not always desirable overnight for human sleeping purposes (although the volume of the recorded message is not particularly loud).
Overall, I think it’s well worth the investment if you have young cats or cats that want feeding overnight, if you work away from home during the day, for several days or even a short holiday or if you just simply want to augment your cats wet food diet, with some automated dry food feeds.

Solved my night time cat feeding problems!

Golden Review Award: 53 From Our UsersEdited review… Please see below the original review. I have since discovered that there is a difference in the UI for the electronic controls for the two feeders I have (bought only a few months apart) which means that you now need to have the lid open to change the settings. On the older feeder you did not. Hence I thought the controls were broken but it works in exactly the same way and now functions perfectly, I just have to remember to open the lid on one of them to change anything!!

Has stopped working after just 12 months. It is no longer programmable as nothing happens when I press the buttons it just beeps. Frustrating. I have 2 of these and the other one works just fine.

Of course its too long now that neither Amazon or the seller would do anything about it. Annoying!!!

We’ve been using this for almost 4 months now and overall very pleased with it. We have different meal sizes set throughout the day and it keeps to schedule very well. We are running it on batteries and haven’t replaced yet. Just a couple of things that prevented 5 stars – at first the flashing light came on to say the food level was low however twice I have found it had essentially run out of food without warning. I now check weekly and keep it topped up and don’t rely on the machine to tell me it needs topping up. Also, it plays a short audio clip just before dispensing food but we didn’t realise it came with some horrible sound pre-recorded that terrified our cats. Once we realised we recorded silence and they are now fine with it.

This automatic feeder works really well. I have been using it for two weeks now and it reliable. The food always comes out at the times set and to the quantity set. It’s great you can set the recording feature, I have the sound of the food shaking and then calling the cats. The volume is good and from wherever they are in the house they can hear it. It is sturdy and none of the cats have worked out how to get into it or even tried. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely be using it for short breaks away.

Golden Review Award: 59 From Our UsersI was dubious at first but decided to give it a go after arriving home late from work.

This product does what it says, is easy to set up and despite some grammar mistakes in the manual it is easy to use and is understandable.

Our Labrador had great fun opening the box that was well packaged and arrived using DPD’s next day service, dispatched by Amazon and was fully tracked. Cant fault the order process, delivery or packaging.

I also can’t fault the product the bowl although seems small, holds 200g of dry food and arguably would take even more of our medium sized kibble.

The bowl and mount is fully washable, the lid for the kibble container fits really well and is a nice clever design.

My only recommendation would be to have better clips on the sides that join the container to the mechanical part. This is because they have a tendency to get stuck and so if a user was a bit rough and didn’t push them in slightly, they would unfortunately end up snapping. Despite this once the clips are attached there is no need to touch them again, so this concern is only during the un-boxing.

The system is easy to use and shows you everything you need to know, we have our meal times set and the measurement at 20 portions which equates with our dry food at 200g.

Overall, a great product that works, looks nice, and is easy to use.

    Pictures show:
    1. Product.
    2. Product next to 500ml shaker bottle for scale.
    3. Our Lab next to the well packaged box.

Does what it says, and well.

Golden Review Award: 53 From Our UsersThis has changed our life! Our little Pepper has quite bad food intolerance so we feed her little but often so she doesn’t over eat and get a bad belly. But that meant dispensing dry food 6 times a day, it was taking over our life! Now we just fill the machine up once a week and she always has her food.

It also meant we could go out all day and not worry that she’s eaten her whole days food in one sitting, she’s a greedy little thing!

The machine seems really well made, and is pretty easy to programme. As other reviewers have said the easiest way to work out a portion size is to fill up the container, dispense one portion and then weigh it. All pet food is a different density, so this is the most accurate and worked well for us.

I also like that the bowl comes out easily for cleaning. However, the main container is t that easy to clean unless you take it apart with a screwdriver, otherwise you can’t get inside the portion wheel and doesn’t dry well.

Golden Review Award: 72 From Our UsersI have two of these to provide food for my cats in different locations.

They work well, you can schedule a number of ‘portions’ at different times of day. Good for the price point.

I didn’t know whether to go to four stars because of this or not but I really hated the sneaky way they tried to get you to give them a five star review. In the package you get a “congratulations you’ve won a prize draw for free extras” slip. When you contact them they’ll only give you the free extras after posting a five star review and screenshotting it to them. It left a really bad taste in my mouth.

You’ve made a great product, let it speak for itself and don’t try to trick customers into giving you 5 star reviews.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersSo I’ve been using this for nearly a week now. It has been great. My pampered house cat has accepted it well!! My main reason for trying this is that my cat is a slightly overweight house cat. My other automatic feeders do not weigh out the kibbles, which means if we go away I need to weigh out the food in lil baggies for my mum to feed correctly and not overfeed my cat. Then she needs to reset it every 5 feeds with my other feeder!! This feeder is great in that u can fill the large main storage container and the the food is distributed into the stainless steel bowl. It took me a few days to work out the weight amount of each portion distributed, but got there in the end. And now I am confident that my cat gets approx 22 grams of kibble at every feed time. I’m yet to use the voice setting. But the kibble dropping into the bowl is loud enough for my cat to know it’s feed time!! The instructions are adequate and didn’t need any help with working out the settings. I did have to fix this unit in a corner initially, as my naughty kitty knows that there is food in the storage container, but after a few days he ignored it and just accepted feed times and now I can put it anywhere. Other automatic feeders ended up upside down and under the sofa. This one stayed upright so that is a huge bonus. The mains connector is perfect ( can use batteries aswell ) as I always worry about batteries running out!! Another bonus. Overall it’s well worth the price, it’s easy to use, sturdy and great capacity for food storage. I may even treat my bunny to one too!!

    Best I've tried so far!!!

This machine is a game changer. It only took our cat 4 days to get used to the system, and she is now much calmer, as she knows food will be served on set times. Once your cat gets to know the sound of this machine, you don’t even need to use the voice recorder. Our cat runs for food as soon as she hears the sound of the biscuits hitting the bowl. She is often ready by the machine about 15 minutes before, purring with excitement.
The feeder even lets us sleep all night without her demands for food – thank you! We also don’t need to arrange who feeds when – there are always regular meals served up to 6 times a day.
The machine has a perfect size, good quality and looks great compered to its purpose. It contains a great amount of biscuits lasting for weeks depending on your chosen portion sizes. It is really simple to program, just read the instructions carefully – very intuitive. We also installed batteries in case the power is off for some reason. I would buy it again.

    Game change

What can I say, this has made a real difference in organising our cat feeding times. Set up was almost instant with the option to add a voice note to call them over. All you need to do is fill up the tank, (it can store a lot) set the time and set the amount of food being delivered. Provided you have filled the tank, it should deliver meals for a fair while!
I’m really happy with this product! The only downside I can think of is that the voice note does startle me if I’m around as it’s quite out of the blue!

    Simple and convenie

I bought this dispenser for my kitten, in view of always having food sorted when we are out and about.
The portions are very easy to figure out (and they give you an approximate on the leaflet) and you can add up to 45 portions per meal!

It has 6 different meal sets, each of them fully customisable so if you want to give your pet smaller rations in between this is great!

    Extras I liked:

The plastic is durable and sturdy, and has a lock to avoid pets opening.

the bowl can be attached to the main machine so it’s not loose, but the stainless steel one is easy so get off any time, in case it needs cleaning!

The light goes blue if it’s low on food!

Fully customisable message to let them know (optional)

    Very pleased with the purchase!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI was hesitant to buy this because our chihuahua hasn’t been easy to feed at first and changing something might make us go back to square 1 but he was fine, he ate from it and seem excited when kibbles fall to the bowl. Had fun watching him eat from it the first time. Also impressed that when I tested how much each portion is, it was always 12g which might be different based on the kibbles you use. A bit fiddly to setup the meal plans but once you set your first it’s easy to do the next but I only needed 2. But it’s not something you have to do often so it’s okay. Overall really good. Saves me having to weigh the kibbles every feeding time.

Really impressed. Convenience I never thought I need.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI love our new pet feeder. My husband and I sometimes forget to top up the kitties’ food, and sometimes we do leave them for most of the day and it breaks my heart to look at their empty bowl when I return as I dunno how long it’s been empty for.

Our kittens’ don’t really eat that much anyway, but knowing that they will get fresh food every few hours is nice. Had the pet feeder for about a week now and no issues so far. I’m not too fussed about the portion so I’ve not weighed it or anything, I’m still trying to find the best portion to put out for my kittens and the interface is straightforward enough to change.

I like the recording option as well as the big range of portion and up to 6 feeding times as a lot out there is up to 4 only. My kittens started eating straight away from the new feeder, didn’t need any period of adaptation. And I also like how sleek it looks and it’s one of the best looking ones in my opinion.

    All in all, fully recommended.

My cat is quite elderly and on special dried food to support his kidneys. I usually feed him ‘as required’ but sometimes in a morning his bowl was empty and he was hungry. It was also difficult to get a sense of exactly how much he was eating. I have been using the feeder for a couple of weeks now and wish I had bought one years ago. Initially I set the feeder up with the maximum six feeds with a minimum portion of 14g at 4 hour intervals totaling 84g. After a couple of days I could see the food was mounting up so I first cut out the 3 am feed and then the 3 pm giving a total of 56g and he is keeping on top of this. We can also go away for a few days with no need to find someone to come in and feed him (not tried yet). The hopper took a whole 2k bag of food and the lid locks down keeping the food fresh and safe. Also bought the W25 water fountain. A bit fiddly to set up, if you accidentally press the portion button past the number you want you cannot go back, you have to keep going to 48 portions before you get back to 1. It also looks rather smart. Using it on mains power.

    My cat likes it!
It’s very useful since you can set the portion, time as many as you want. Up to 9 meals per day can be set. And I don’t have to worry and spend extra time putting food out from the storage. And you can push release button then the food will dispense by it self as well.

So overall very valuable for the money.

Easy and convenient for my ca

This product is totally amazing! I bought it for my sphynx cat because she need a special diet and I want to control her meals every day including when I’m not at home.
The HoneyGuaridan automatic pet feeder food dispenser is very easy to setup, it is working perfect, now I don’t worry about my cat diet.
    Great job HoneyGuardian!

This automatic feeder is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it for my two bunnies who feed every morning and evening. You can measure out portions however small or big several times in a day which is great for portion control and in case you need to put your pet on a diet. I calculated that it holds up to 3 months’ worth of food! It’s super easy to set up and you can add the option of voice recorder. It’s a bit loud when dry food drops into the metal bowl, so bear that in mind or you can remove the metal bowl as there is a plastic tray underneath it. We use this with our pet camera allowing us to go away for the weekend and have peace of mind that the bunnies are fed and happy. Definitely recommend it for other bunny owners.

    Perfect for bunnies

Brilliant solution to my pet feeding problem!! I have 2 bunnies and we work long days, so it’s nice to know I can give them some nuggets alongside their hay, whilst we are out. We were using another brand of food timer (with a manual dial) that did not do the job, the bunnies broke into it 5 minutes after we left! This Honey Guardian feeder is so simple to set up, the portions are a little big although I believe it’s more for cats and dogs, I’ve set it to use 1 portion (47 is the maximum) and to deliver it once per day. I may add an additional meal in the future which is easy to Donald you can set up to 6 meals per day. I have used the power lead but plan on adding batteries as a backup in case of a power cut. All in all a brilliant product, well built and easy to use.

Easy to use and solves my rabbit problem 🐰

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been using this a few weeks now because, after over a year on diet food, my eldest, neutered Sphynx cat had gained weight and was now 1.5kg over weight rather than 1.1kg as she was before. So I needed to get this to take a lot more control over her eating habits. I had tried to avoid timed feeds because she would vomit, even when eating from a slow feeding dish. So having spent already on a microchip feeder last year and then slow feeding dishes, this times feeder was last chance saloon & fingers crossed being able to give up to 6 feeds would mean she could eat less more often and avoid the sickness.

And I’m delighted to say that this has worked brilliantly. After 5 weeks she has lost 0.59kg. – It doesn’t sound a lot I know but, as a fraction of her total body weight it’s huge.

Setting & Portion sizes are easy to set up, though please note that the stated weight of each dispensed portion size is slightly out. You must dispense a portion of your cats actual food and weigh that accurately so that following the portion sizes shown on the pack you can work out how many dispensed portions of food your cat should be eating in a day (based on the a) breed b) your cat’s life stage & c) the actual food you are using. Then divide the allowance of portions over up to six meals. We are currently on 1 portion 5 times in a day (6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm) but later when she’s reached her ideal weight I will add in another portion – this could be fed as a 2 portion meal followed by 4 1 portion meals or we will add in a 6th meal adjusting timings to bring them closer together.

The voice recording I made plays twice, then the food tinkles down into the bowl. At first the girls were unsure what it was and so would become alert, emerging from their blankets, ears scanning…. but they’d not move – not until they heard food was hitting the metal dish

As this device is being used for just one of cats (the other cat is using a microchip dispenser containing her calorific full fat food. I’d tried one with “fat cat” with her diet food but free feeding meant she was eating more than she should be and continued to gain weight!)

I needed to ensure the right cat got to the food but unbelievably quickly that became easy as the “dieting cat” now without free access to food was hungry and ran like the wind to get there as the food hit the steel bowl and within days she was ready and hankering about nagging me about an hour before it was due to dispense. When the recording began, rather than wait, she would now run like the clappers to eat as soon as the voice recording began and so was there waiting before the food was even dispensed.

Once the weight that she needs to be at has been reached, she’ll be a much healthier cat which was my aim, to keep her healthy and long lived. She already looks and feels better. Her face looks more youthful and I can feel her skull bones again rather than a layer of fat on her head.

At delivery, Inside the box was a card congratulating me and informing me I’d won a prize draw of w splitter dispenser. All I needed was to email the address given. I did that asking if they needed my address or was it dispatched by Amazon using the original order details. The seller then said I needed to leave a review to receive it. I wrote back and said that it was no prize then as it was at the cost of a review that at the time I could not make ( having only just received it. I’m feeling cross and cheated to be told I’d won a prize only to discover it’s not a prize at all but an item that is at the costs a making a good review. It’s black nail. False advertising. It’s wrong. It’s spoilt the experience and, the only saving grace is that my cat is losing the unhealthy weight she had not lost having ended a pregnancy with a C-Secion and Spay.

Whilst it’s true that I’ve now made a review, I’ve done so without alerting the seller. I’m writing it with honesty, descriptive of my real experience not a made up paragraph of text telling of super service and do on.

Amazon shipped it and as they always seem to do, they delivered ahead of the advises delivery date. It works as it should, though I’ve not added batteries, being plugged in feels enough, but if I were to go away I’d maybe want to put some in in case if electricity failure meaning it doesn’t dispense…. it’s unlikely. I am happy for my elder we cat. She looks great and lost weight well making an op she just had on her teeth (6 extractions) safer,

I would recommend this product for those looking to ensure accuracy in portion sizes, to ensure refuel food, and those who have to go away (the hopper holds several days of kibble.

Please note : This is not for wet food.

Please note: the card inside telling you that you have won a prize is a lie, it is extortion for positive reviews by the seller who claims they will send the splitter once you’ve shown them your review. I’m not doing that on principle.

    Hope this is helpful info.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a great product. We use it for our rabbits so have to use the batteries to ensure the rabbits don’t chew the cable. If you use dusty pellets the dust gets stuck in the mechanism and the portions don’t come out (the red light flashes). This can be a bit annoying but as long as you clean it before refilling again, it’s generally fine. It was initially difficult to set up, you need to have the lid open to programme it, we had to watch a you tube tutorial to work that bit out, although I later read the label on the machine. Once set up it’s really good. We just set the portions for twice a day. Rabbits love it.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersWe bought ours to feed our cat while we were away for a few days and didn’t want to ask anyone to do a regular drop-in. We set it up with both the power adapter and backup batteries in case there was a power cut and pointed a camera at it which we could access remotely just to check that she’s eating and that the feeder was working.

I am please to say that it worked flawlessly, so much so that we’ve used it ever since; no more being woken up at 7am by a hungry cat!

It is well built and looks good too. I really like the fact it has the option of installing batteries as well as the power adapter and the ability to record a message to played at mealitimes is fun (which you can turn off by recording a blank message)

    There are a few small things I would change if I could;

The set up isn’t very intuitive and can be a bit frustrating at times. It reminds me of a 1980s digital watch with dozens of functions but only two buttons to control them; hold button X for several seconds and then press button Y to cycle through the options.. If you go too far you need to cycle through all the options again and if you pause for too long you have to start all over.. You definitely need to hang on the to the manual.. That said, once it’s set up, there’s not much need to enter the set up again.

I’m not sure why, but the feeder dispenses a portion of food each time the mains power is connected, even if the backup batteries are installed. This means that if there is any disruption in power, cat gets an extra meal..

Finally, there is a ‘low-food-alarm’ but it doesn’t give much notice; it only goes off when the hopper is empty. I would prefer it to start warning when the hopper is at about 20% full or so.

Other than those small issues, so far it has been a great purchase. It hasn’t clogged up once with the pea-sized dry food we use and I think our cat will agree that it is more reliable that her previous human feeders even if it is immune to begging..

Once you work out a portion size for your kitty’s food it is consistent in dispensing it.
Cat is always trying to break into the feeder and so far has not succeeded.
    Bowl removes for cleaning.
    Con’s
The 7 barking ducks that tell you & your cat food is on its way. No matter what i do i can not get rid of them. Its so loud its horrible. Tried and tried to replace it with silence but those 7 pesky ducks keep barking.
The food landing in the Stainless steel bowl is noisy at 6am (but it dispensing saves you having a cat dancing on your head but all that noise wakes you up anyway!!!)
    In summary
Going to try a couple more times to make the 7 barking ducks disappear but if they won’t go, i am sorry but its going back for my sanity. They are just to loud.
Beginning to wonder if i have a faulty one as i have followed the instructions to get rid of the noise and it never works or just some very stubborn ducks that like my house so much they won’t leave…

I bought this product for my two cats. It’s really easy to use; I found following a video on Youtube helpful to set it up. 1 portion is equivalent to about 7g of dry cat food. So setting each meal time for 6 portions per meal is just right for both cats. My cats respond to the voice recording and they think it’s coming from me in the house. Would definitely recommend this pet feeder.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersAs well as ordering way too much stuff for my family and I, I’ve also been treating our cat to a few upgrades on her stuff – a new ‘poop palace’ and a new water fountain. I have been very impressed with the water fountain, so I looked at what else they made and found this. It caught my eye as I’m a bit of a tech nerd and love a bit of automation. This is a big, strong, machine and it can easily hold a big bag of cat biscuits in one go. It was easy to set up and program, although I like that you can alter the portion size for each individual ‘meal time’ as you like. Even better, the record function allows you to record your own message that is played before the biscuits are released into the bowl. I did one, mainly to make my wife laugh when I first showed her the new machine, but our cat is now actually coming in to eat when she hears me calling her from the feeder. My pictures show her responding to her 3pm call – possibly the first time a cat has acted like Pavlov’s dog? 🙂

Huge capacity and love the recording function!

We often have to leave our cat for the weekend and this gives us peace of mind. We actually have started using it all the time as it means our cat has his meals at normal times even if we are both at work.
It was pretty easy to set up, but working out the portion sizes was a little strange – we ended up weighing how much comes out with a “portion” and working out from that how many portions he needed over the whole day.
The downside is that it makes a weird noise right before the food comes out – it suggests that you can record a message to replace this but we have been completely unable to do that.
    Overall a great product.

I love the product. Easy to use and with a lot of options! You can set up 1 to 6 meals per day with a lot of ranges of food portions and all of them can be different. The only cons that I can see it’s that maybe it’s not sturdy enough for a dog or a cat who’s used to play with this things, the lid it’s well closed but who knows with animals.. my cat it’s really quite so I didn’t have a problem at all. Other thing that I will improve and that why I give 4 stars it’s because you CAN NOT cancel the recording and the only thing you can do it’s try to record 1sec and that’s pretty annoying for us

Well cats just love being fed tbh. But this feeder is easy to set up and to use and after that it just seems to look after itself. Nice big container for food. Once we have the splitter and extra bowl it will be complete! If I have one slight improvement to make it would be to have an indication of how much to set the feed volume to (in fact it only took a couple of iterations to get the quantity right).

Only minor dislike I have was the initial setting up of the item, it became a bit of trial and error on portion size if you have a cat like ours which will eat anything put in front of her..!

All in all, worked great for us with three feeds per day for a week whilst we were on holiday, there was more than half the container full when we came back.

Build quality is excellent, and keeps the smell of the biscuits in the container too, so not a problem to keep out all the time if you have limited storage.

Got this feeder for when we go on holiday.
Tried to set it all up and it was a bit complicated to start with, but got the hang of it after a while. As long as you know that the lid has to be open to change the settings. Tried the portion sizes and seems ok.
Also the cleaning is easy as the metal bowl comes out and the bucket, that holds the food inside, too. Very pleased with it.

This automatic feeder is great! It holds more than a whole bag of cat food (and it’s concealed, which is great because if my cat could see the food she would try and break into it!), you can program up to 8 meal times on it and you can record a little message to call your pet!
When Ginger hears my message and the food tinkling into dish she scampers out to it! Seeing this still makes me laugh 🙂
Also, Ginger was a bit overweight when we adopted her so this has been a great way to regulate her mealtimes and control her portion sizes.
It works on either battery or mains power which was one of the big differentiators for me.
    I would highly reccommend this!

We’ve been using the feeder for about 3 months now. It does take a bit of fiddling to programme at first, but it’s fine (just remember you have to have the lid at least slightly open to be able to set the feeding times). It reliably fed our cats for a week while we were away. We had catsitters who came in to check on them, but we were able to keep their regular feeding times with the feeder.
In the last few weeks, it has been blocking about every other dispense, so you have to pick it up and give it a shake. I’m not sure why this is. Perhaps it needs cleaning out, so I’ll wait until it’s empty again, but we couldn’t rely on it now if we were leaving the cats overnight or for a weekend.

Golden Review Award: 64 From Our UsersI bought this product because one of my cats used to wake me up at night every 2 or 3 hours asking for food.
To be honest, I was very reclutant, as I had already tried another automatic pet feeder short time ago that he managed to break.
This product is of excellent quality and very easy to use.
The instructions are clear but you can try it without as it is very intuitive.
You can record your voice as a call for cats and the food is distributed shortly after.
    It works really well.
You can use an electric power supply or batteries (not included in the package).
In the first days my cat (7 kg) tried in every way to throw it down and bite it as it smelled the food inside. And also managed to remove the bowl. But it is impossible for cats to open it (the button is at the front of the product).

Golden Review Award: 60 From Our UsersThe honeyguaridan pet feeder has really been an absolute life saver!!!
I was looking for an automatic pet feeder to use whilst I was away on holiday for a week. In the past I used one of the traditional mechanical auto pet feeders but it failed to feed my cat the last time I used it and they are tricky to set up.
I looked into many of the electronic auto feeders on the market and felt this one had everything I needed. There are other pet feeders out there which look fancier, have an app/camera built in and are more expensive but the reviews of them are not great.
This pet feeder is more simple and does not have an app or camera, so I bought a separate high quality home monitoring camera for about 30 which I use to monitor the feeder. This way I am not relying on one system to work and I get an alert each time my cat eats via the camera.
So far I have used the feeder for 10 days including 2 meals per day and it has worked perfectly.
The portion sizes seem to be consistent and no issues with jamming.
One portion of food was 8g for me and I use the adult Proplan cat food.
I would recommend watching the YouTube instruction video when setting up the feeder although the instruction manual is also pretty easy to understand.
Now that I know the feeder is reliable I’ve even decided to use it every day, not just while on holiday. So now my cat doesn’t wake me up super early in the mornings and no more feeling guilty if I need to work late in the evenings!

It is very easy to put together with the help of the guide and online videos. Allows for a reliable machine to feed pets on time and is incredibly useful for people with pets who have busy morning scheduals. The option to use batteries or a cord is my personal favourite feature as my rabbits like to bite cords. This is very beneficial for owners who’s pets like to play or break with cords, and allows the machine to be more durable. I would recommend to people who struggle to feed pets at the same time daily or who can’t always be present around certain feeding times.

After a lot research we decided on this feeder for our cat.
At first she was very weary of it due to the noise it makes when feeding which is not loud but a new noise for our kitten and she didn’t like it so we decided to have the machine switched off for a few days whilst we were there and we would physically put here dry food in the bowl so she knew it was ok. After 3 days we switched it on and the programming for the feeder is a little old school in this smart phone world but it works ok. We monitored the machine and it worked great. It is mains powered and you fit back up batteries as well. You also record a little bit of audio which it plays before it delivers the food which the cat now takes as her signal to wait by it.
We went away for 2days and we also have a camera to view our room so could check it was feeding and it did!!
So it’s a great machine for feeding dry food and seems reliable.
We just went away for 3 weeks and our friend dropped in every day to give her wet food and said all seemed fine.
So no complaints really and we are very pleased. Combine this feeder with an EZVIZ WiFi camera and you are sorted !!
    Hopes this review helps!!

Good product functional and easy to use. Only thing which was less simple is having to really trial the different portion sizes to make sure what is dished out isnt too little or too much. It may take a few goes and is entirely dependent on how many times a day you want it to feed and how big the animal is. Do a practice first to how much comes out. Overall its great!

I did a lot of research to find a robust automatic feeder, as my younger cat had been starved before he was rescued. As a consequence, he will go to any lengths to get food, and he has made short shift of breaking into feeders in the past. As our daughter as resident cat minder is no leaving home, we have had to find an alternative for our occasional 2 or 3nights away. I have to say, we are thrilled with this unit! It takes a bit of time and patience to program it, but once done, it is very reliable in both portion size and timing. AND neither cat can break into it! We’ve just purchased a second one for our old girl. We’ve not bothered with the voice recording, as they both know precisely what times their kibble is dispensed, and they sit in front of the unit a good half an hour before, waiting for what must seem to them, the ” jackpot” ! Highly recommend

I got two of these for my three cats and I absolutely recommend it. You will need 3 big batteries to power these – not connected to mains – which is useful as you know it won’t get cut off if there is no power. There is also a low battery indicator so you’ll know when it is time to change the batteries.

You can set the times for the feeder to dispense food and you can record your voice for the dispensing – helpful to alert our cats – who now runs towards the feeder when they hear the call for food. Be sure to make sure the feeder is stocked with food – otherwise it makes for a very sad sight indeed. You can adjust up to six feeding times with adjustable amounts – although I still cannot work out how the dispenser measures the amount is gives out.

It has certainly made my life a LOT simpler and I do not have to worry about feeding the cats when I’m at work – plus it’s good for pets to have set feeding times. I can definitely recommend this. Been using this for a couple of years now and still going strong.

This is totally a super item. it delivers our cat the right amount of food 6 times every twenty four hours. She is on a diet of 50 gs per day so it delivers 8 gs every 4 hours we top it up with a little treat at night.
Down side is probably the size but if your pet is a tad flighty like ours it stands the occasional knock back and forth.
The voice recorder allows you to actually call your pet at feeding time.
Brilliant machine and worth every penny knowing she is getting fed regularly and her weight has stablised.

Bought this to stop the cat from pestering us every time she wanted food, and to help control how much she eats.
On the whole the idea has worked! Didn’t take her very long to realise she doesn’t get her dried food from ‘a human’ (she’s a sweetie but we’ve never thought of her as being the brightest of cats!). Have adjusted the times and dispense amounts a couple of times to fit her needs better.

It does seem quite a large machine though – so beware of both the ‘footprint’ size and height – hence only 4 * not 5.

The previous make of pet feeder i purchased i had to return because it was faulty. This one is cheaper and, so far, is working well. My cat wasn’t too sure about it to start with but soon got used to it. I have set it up to dispense varying amounts six times a day and it works well. I recorded a tune for when it dispenses instead of my voice and now my cat knows that the tune means his biscuits are on their way. I thought my voice coming from it would be a bit weird for him.

This is a really great product, you can set it to dispense food at set times, at various amounts. I bought this feeder because I was leaving for a month long trip and needed a feeder that my cat couldn’t get into and one that would be able to give her food for the entire time I was gone. It worked great and I didn’t have to worry about whether my cat was being fed. The only downside to this product is that my cat is able to stick her paw up the shoot and get a few pellets of food.

Not necessarily intuitive to set up, but easy enough and an absolute lifesaver for our multiple-cat household! Made it easy to put the cats on a diet (please consult your vet before putting a cat on a diet, losing weight at what most people might consider a “normal” rate can be life-threatening for a cat!), no more hungry cats at 7 a.m., and the cats barely seem to notice when we go on vacation, whereas before they used to get very stressed. Money very well spent. (I paid regular price for these and there was nothing to bias my opinion.)

This is great! It delivers an appropriate sized portion and the dry food doesn’t go off as it’s sealed. We have found that the batteries (middle of the range) last about 5 months. We got this for the odd night away so the cat would still get fed and we wouldn’t have to bother our neighbours and, he was used to being fed at 7 am and would meow at weekends. Now, he’s happy with his ‘delivery’ and doesn’t bother us when we want a lie in. Great device. Not overly obtrusive either.

He can hear his ‘delivery’ from the kitchen so goes running when he hears the food coming.

Arrived promptly and after watching the useful Youtube instruction video, I found this really easy to set up. The cat ate from it instantly, although he is ‘obsesssed’ with food, so I wasn’t too surprised. The voice recording sounds like me, and the cat now runs to the machine as soon as he hears the first call. My cat is on a measured diet, so I was hoping that this would alleviate all the prep work I was doing before and would deliver the correct amount of food to him. So far this seems to be doing the job really well, so much so, that whenever I go into the kitchen, the cat follows and sits in front of the machine in the hope that I will put food in it. I hoped this would also stop the early morning wakeup calls from Mr cat, as he would begin to disassociate me with delivering his food, but alas ‘No’, he still does this!

We have used it when we went away for a few days, although we did have a friend to pop in twice daily to give him wet food too, but again no complaints with the machine at all. The only thing that I will say is that a couple of times in the morning I have heard the voice call but haven’t heard the food dispense, or the cat has continued to meow to wake me up in the morning. I think that the machine is working fine and the issue is that I now get more of a ‘lie in’ so haven’t heard the machine and/or the cat is just a greedy boy and wants more food even if he’s already eaten!

If you are looking for something to delivered measured amounts of food, at specific times when you might not be home at the usual time, or as a back up when you need to go away for a few days, then I would recommend this machine very highly!

Only two things I don’t quite like about this feeder:
    1) measurements done in units not in grams – which is very confusing. Especially as I like to change my cat’s food or even mix it sometimes (i.e. specific diets) which means kibbles have different sizes. Each time food is changed, the units have to be tediously re-measured (as in, put food in, push the button, put what comes out in scale to see how much it is, adjust the unit strength in feeder, repeat until you have the grams you need).
    2) If I want to give my cat a treat (i.e. wet food once in a while) there is no easy way of skipping a food cycle. It has to be picked up and one has to fiddle through the menu to switch a cycle off, wait until the time has passed and then go and fiddle to switch that timer back on.

This feeder is really only for people that need either a temporary solution (i.e. gone for the weekend) or never ever want to give their pets any other food than the food you originally set it up with, assuming that you don’t want too much hassle (which is exactly why one would by that thing).

Other than that, the menu and setup is rather… let’s say non-intuitive, luckily I can easily adjust so I had no problems with it (though I might have slip some swear words whilst setting it up…).

So altogether I’d say a good product but certainly needs improvement in some areas.

We purchased this as me and my fianc are both in the airline industry, and sometimes one of us or both may have to overnight or spend a few days away.
This feeder has never let us down. We love that we can programe up to six feeds a day, even though we only tend to use two when we are at home so we have some interaction with the cat.
The only thing missing in my opinion is a battery level indicator so we know how the exact status of the battery. It does say in the manual however that there is a light that flashes when the battery is low.
We would strongly recommend this product to anyone.

So far this has been a very reliable feeder. The output is very accurate. Six small feeds a day dispensed exactly the right overall amount. Our cat is on a diet and needs to have food restricted to 40 g of dry food per day. A little tricky to set up the first time, but not that hard. The recorded message is a nice feature and our cat is in place ready for her food to arrive! This feeder would be perfect if it had a removable bowl and the facility to take apart and clean the feeder. Would thoroughly recommend.

I initially got this in case we had to go away for a while but after just testing whether it worked, I just use it all the time now as it gives me one less thing I have to do in the day, It’s also great because it means instead of my cat getting one big meal every day, she gets 3 smaller portions throughout the day!

We’ve also programmed it to have Tim’s voice (the person she most dislikes) on it before the food comes out in the hopes she’ll start to like him more. I’m not sure if it’s working but it’s entertaining to see her respond to his voice anyway.

It’s not the most intuitive thing to set up but follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. I also checked the amounts that were coming out and they seem to be around what they say it will be so that’s good.

Easy to use, programming was straightforward just remember to have the timings unlocked for them to work. My cat ate from it straight away but he’s still getting used to knowing there is food in the tray. Hopefully he will start to recognise the sound of the biscuits being released but for now he’s still expecting us to put them there.

I do like this feeder and so does my cat.
The size of the food tank is really good – it can hold loads of dry food so doesn’t need to be filled up frequently. Before I bought the product, I had read quite a few comments saying that the feeder was not easy to programme, but think setting it up and then changing the settings as required is pretty easy. I like the different combinations available – different portions of food can be dispensed a number of times each time.
Initially I wasnt sure if recording a message for the cat was a good idea, but my partner got there first and now the feeder also speaks… My cat loves dry food, so now she runs to the feeder when she hears the message. I could see her trying to get her paws into the hole which dispenses food, but the feeder seems pretty unbreakable. She will not get the food that way, that’s for sure!
One thing could be improved though – the bowl where the food drops could be bigger and have some sort of insert which can be taken out and cleaned. Alternatively, it could be bigger and round, so I could use one of the bowls I have and put inside. This would allow me to wash the dish, now I can only wipe it as the current bowl cannot be removed. Not a problem, but this could be done better.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis is a nice looking, compact feeder. Unlike some other reviewers, I found it easy to set up. It is also very convenient to have more than 3 meal time settings, giving you the flexibility to adjust the feeding schedule. The food container lock mechanism seems sturdy and I believe my cat won’t be able to break in from the top opening.

Now to the bad part. Hours after setting up the feeder, my cat was able to figure out that by inserting her paw into the chute she is able to extract the food pellets manually one by one. So, beware. If you are looking for a cat proof feeder, this is not it.

The manufacturer could prevent the cat thefts by making the chute opening smaller and I will try to mimic this idea by cutting an expired credit card and sealing it above the chute with a tape, leaving just enough space for the food to slide. Hope this works.

    Edit on November 2018:
Added an additional star. Pet feeder is still functional and our cat still cannot reach into the chute for extra kibbles with the above mentioned workaround.
I concur with other reviewers regarding the uneven portion sizes, you need to regularly monitor any changes in the amount served by the feeder.
    All in all, still recommended.

    Nice but not cat-proof!

Golden Review Award: 65 From Our UsersJun2021 update. This machine is still working fine 4 years after install. Dispensing everyday for diet control and no issues leaving it outdoors for 2 weeks (under a cover I built for rain protection. It has now endured – 5C winters to 30C summers . Batteries last longer than 6 months dispensing twice a day.

Nov2019update: machine has been on, dispensing twice a day since purchased (2 years. Not a single issue. Batteries last many months.

OMG! This is an amazing product. 5stars +!! I had previously bought the “Andrew James Large 90 Day Automatic Pet Feeder” and it was a nightmare to set up and unreliable, 2 (error modes, not dispensing, blocking, etc best way to starve your pet). So, I decided to try this one and I’m so glad I did. Leaving for a couple of days is now stress free. This machine is very easy to set up. I can configure it on the fly ( only had to read instructions once as the buttons are intuitive), feeds up to 6 times per day and can decide the portion amount for each one. The portion size goes for 1 to 80 and from my test 1 = 4g (the instructions are not clear on this and on my first attempt, I set it up to 50 and my cat thought it was xmas already!). The machine also allows recording your voice which is nice. The design is quite clever ( gravity does the job, no vibration needed = battery saving) and as long the pellets are of recommended size, it will not jam.
In operation mode, the recorded voice comes up, my cat moves to the front of it, then 10 sec later the voice calls a second time, my cat starts salivating and then 10 sec later the portion is dispensed. My was not fun of the delay times at the start but now he has learnt the benefits of patience.
I have the machine dispensing 3 times a day ( with portion control to help his diet plan) for the last 2 weeks and not a single issue.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks a treat. At first my cats were a bit put off by it. They didn’t understand. But after a few smacks and hisses they quickly learned noise = food = yum… My youngest as soon as she hears the recording go off she is up like a flash to watch the food appear in her bowl.

My only fault with it, is too light and ends up being pushed all over the floor. I have since put it in a corner on a carpet. Could as well be my fault because I am using rechargeable batteries with it and they are much lighter then their counterparts. Aside from that one thing I love it.

It isn’t that hard to set up and you can search for a very very helpful video on YouTube.

Since I have 3 cats I am now seriously contemplating on getting a 2nd unit.

once you’ve worked out how to use it with a bit of practice it seems to do a good job. even calls my cat with my voice before it feeds. I only have used dry food as cant imagine it would be hygenic for wet food.
the display is difficult to see when it is on the floor or in a dark space but realise that the batteries would run out quicker if there was a lit display.
I would recommend it and use it every time i leave the cat for more than a day, as have a water dispenser as well.

Great product and I am looking to buy another one (still waiting for them to come back into stock…) as one of my 2 cats is “mr greedy” ! There are good online videos to watch on how to set it up and I recommend trying different quantities to get the right portion control. That piece initially takes time but it’s just trial and error. It’s a sturdy product however I would recommend placing it in a corner of the room as it’s quite tall and on a feeding mat to give it extra stability as my 2 can move it! A rubber surround on the base would have helped this.

Unfortunately the voice recording and playing is no longer working…it was a nice touch but I can live without it… I’ve one other concern but have still rated this 4 stars…the food is now coming out not at the exact time I set it for but a few minutes either side of the time. Not a major issue so long as it keeps dispensing in and around the original time set. I’ve only had this since before Xmas so will continue to keep an eye on how it’s working…and it still hasn’t put me off wanting to buy a second one yet…

It is quite large and makes a statement, but the robot look is quite amusing. I found the programming very counter-intuitive, but once learnt is easy enough. The amounts dispensed seemed quite large for a cat, 4 is a meal for ours, can’t imagine heading into double figures and it goes up to 99! I do wonder how easy it is to clean properly.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThis is a great pet food timer and ideally sized for cats. You can select up to six times in 24hrs for the food to be released and you can also set the portion size needed at each of these times. Helpfully you can turn on/off any or all of the six times, so you could set all six up for when you’re away but then turn off some when you’re home and still use the feeder. For example, we use the feeder every day even though we’re here so it gives Mokie some biscuits at 6am and stops her asking for food as soon as we’re awake, when we go away, I just turn on all the other times I’ve previously set up and it’s ready to go.

I found the instructions easy to follow by looking at the button pictures. The text suffers a bit in translation, but it’s not awful and you still get the gist. I would say that you don’t want this delivered just before you go away, you do need to set up the times and also the portions. The portions have taken quite a while for us to get right, so you do need a few days to test it before going away to make sure your pet is getting enough food and at the right time. On the flip side, we no longer have dry cat food wasted as Mokie now eats all of it.

Despite having this pet feeder in our kitchen all the time, it’s not in the way and actually has quite a small footprint considering the amount of food it holds. This is because it’s fairly tall, so all the size is vertically spread. You can see from the photo the size compared to our regular duo cat food bowl.

It feels substantial and I’ve had no problems with worrying it would fall over. I hope it will last a number of years.

UPDATE: We’ve had this cat feeder a year now and have changed the batteries. Surprised that the feeder remembered our settings despite flat batteries. Still delighted with it.

Great pet food timer but give yourself some time to set it up.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersIf you have a cat, you should know that this is an independent animal that is living normally alone. Anyway, one of the things that you must do every day is giving food to your pet.
I usually prepare food in the morning and in the evening every day. Is not very difficult but sometimes I have to do things outside my home and then my cat will eat later than normally.
When I listened about this device, I decided to try that because I wanted to follow a regular timing food for my cat.
When you do the unboxing you can feel a good quality product because it’s weight. You can see the pet feeder packaged in 2 parts. Firstly, the food container, and secondly, the main part of the device.
In the base of the main device you can see the batteries container and the switch power.
Seeing the user instructions I was thinking that configuration could be difficult but when you start playing with the buttons you can see how configuring all functions are very easy. For testing I decided to configure firstly the time, very easy following instructions. Then I wanted to test food supplier scheduling one of the 6 programs and recording a voice.
When time scheduled arrived, my voice started to sound on the device for 2 times and after that food started to be supplied. You can configure the quantity of food that you want for your pet, programming the number of suppliers. It’s very easy. One of the useful things of this device is an infrared sensor that detects when food is being supplied, if the amount of food is more than can be fit, then stop supplying.

Final assessment: I was totally surprised with this device. I thought that will not be very useful but I was totally misunderstanding. This pet feeder is very easy to configure and you can schedule all foods that your cat eats during the day. The most interesting for me now is that, before having this device, I had to contact with somebody of my family of friends when I was going for holidays, to go to my house for giving food to my cat. Now I can fill the container completely and I can schedule 2 foods every day during a week. Then I can go for holidays knowing that my cat will have the daily food without problems.

A very useful device for your cat!!
