excellent product delivered on time drivers very polite and efficient installed it took packaging away couldnt be more satisfied arrived just in time for xmas for all my meat joints and other frozen items such as veg absolutely more than satisfied with product and delivery and refused xmas gratuiti
I was told the freezer could not be plugged in, and I should move it in place myself.
There were several things wrong with this:
1. If the freezer was kept upright at all times including during the delivery- this is not necessary at all! Ask any refrigeration engineerask me how I know this
2. The meaning of installation is NOT leaving it outside of the cavity or not plugging it in!
3. How does one know the item works before the installer/delivery team leaves..?
4. At my insistence the was plugged in and placed into the cavity. However, due to a phone call I was not in the room when the door handle got installed. I was told by one of them that the freezer was fully assembled and in placeand I trusted him- fool that I was!
5. A little while later I discovered the placement of the door should’ve been on the other side as I couldn’t open a drawer and cupboard adjacent to the freezer. It was almost funny and tragic in one! Anyone with an ounce of common sense would have noticed this when the handle was installed!!!
As I’m disabled I couldn’t do the work necessary. Added to this personal circumstances are at the moment that I am not available during the day and evening making this an unnecessary complication I really did not need!
It took customer service 12 people, and well over two hours to sort this mess out to a satisfactory conclusion!
Please, beware: you might pay for something that turns out very differently to what you thought!!!
The unfortunate thing about this product is that the manufacturers have not thought long and hard about where it may go in the kitchen. I had a space between floor units and when trying to put the plug in the socket which was at 800mm high fitted by an electrician in readiness for a new fridge, the lead was barely long enough with me having to jiggle the fridge and make my arm grow an extra 400mm to put the plug in, hence the cable is very short and it was a Struggle.
Good value smallish fridge, with little wasted space. Shelves seem a bit thin, but have managed to tolerate what I’ve put on them. A bottle rack would be a good accessory.
The instructions for reversing the door start off really well, but omit two vital steps.
– after you’ve reversed the pin on the bottom hinge, you need to reverse the entirely different pin on the top hinge.
– Remove the small plastic piece from the LHS of the top cover and slide it into the space on the right (otherwise, it breaks when you screw down the cover).
Also, the door gasket appears completely symmetrical, so it’s not clear why they ask you to spin it through 180 degrees.
WHAT CAN I SAY IT A GRATE FRIDGE AND LOOKS GRATE
I find it ample for my needs. Some people say it’s small, of course it’s small! This of course depends entirely on what you eat and how many in your household. If there are four hungry healthy people and a tiny kitchen, that is not a problem any freezer can solve.
