We have Sturgeon as well as Koi so do have to feed through the winter to a degree. It’s hard to combat any Nitrite spikes in winter. This product worked really well last winter. On Monday we had a 0.25ppm reading on Nitrite. 24 hours later we were back to normal after adding some LT Extreme. Would definitely recommend this and the Hydra Bio Aquatic to keep your parameters as stable as possible throughout the year. Works better with the use of clay as the good bacteria need the carbonates in the clay. Great product at a decent price and speedy delivery.
