Works well. I’ve found it to be very useful round the garden. Quickly tidy up unruly bushes.
Very easy to use, comes with gloves but a shame no protector googles
I read mixed reviews on this but I went for it anyway. So glad I did, it’s so good for pruning larger branches. I went for the slightly larger diameter one.
For its size cuts through most wood with ease. Battery lasts well if you do not put to much torque on the blade and let the chainsaw do the work, very pleased with the produc
I next used the appliance in August. This time it would not start and would not take a charge.I reported this to the supplier directly given that the time limit for return via Amazon had expired. They responded immediately and after some tests over the phone we identified the problem. The charger unit was faulty. The supplier replaced the unit by return and free of charge..
I was disappointed in the original charger but very impressed by the speed and courtesy of the supplie
Box arrived thought this looks cheap ! How wrong this little saw made 10 conifers 30 ft high easy work for debranching for the shredder . The chain adjustment is a pain so replaces that with a bolt that said would buy again and great tool for light 2inch branches and tidying up would buy again if needed
Bought on a bit of a whim, but wow,we are really impressed. My wife loves it,cutting down an overgrown laurel, couldnt get it off her! You do need goggles though, not supplied, and dont put too much oil in it!
How long it will last though…but seems well enough made.
1. The batteries have to be clay cold before they’ll charge; you can’t just run the battery down and put it straight on the charger whilst you run the other one down.
2. When stored in its carry case the oil leaks out of the tank, unless you empty it or store the carry case upside down.
3. The chain runs on for about 3-4 seconds after you release the trigger. If you’re used to a quickstop chainsaw, you have to remember to keep the tool away from you after a cut. It’s too easy to ignore the chain after you’ve made your cut whilst preparing for the next cut.
4. Because the oil system is manual you have to remember to pump the bulb every so often, but no guide is given as to how often it should be used.
In summary; this is a brilliant tool that could be improved and I would readily buy it again. Watch out for that freewheeling chain though! Recommended.
Customer service offered to replace my unit, and two day later I received a new one. It is working really good and meets what my expectation. It was good that customer service contacted me to help solve the issue. I am now satisfied with this item.
Very handy power saw, had to make a chain cover for safety and protecting chain when not in use.
Use both chains and turn bar periodically to get the most out of moving parts.
Keep batteries fully charged before putting in storage, then batteries should give you good service.
I have used this a lot though and it has been really useful to chop up kindling and prune a few smaller branches on a couple of trees. My only complaint would be the battery takes a few hours to recharge.
3 weeks in, still loving i
