This was easy to assemble and is a great size. Really simple to assemble, and looks great. What a great little composter would highly recommend. Perfect size for my medium sized garden. Good value for money works really well.

I’ve used many different composters over the years and this is definitely the fastest at creating a usable medium. I specifically bought it to compost my poultry and kitchen waste off the ground to prevent rats. I emptied it after 19 weeks from start to finish, and mixed the resultant compost 50/50 with sieved molehill soil. The result was a very healthy crop of very late courgettes very quickly. I bought a second bin to use while the first is rotting down and emptied it after 17 weeks from start to finish and again mixed molehill soil. I used it to top dress my recently emptied tomato growing containers into which I planted sprouting broccoli plugs which are also growing well. I would definitely recommend these compost balls if you have a need to prevent rats, and for a quick turnover of waste. Like some other reviewers have pointed out, the lid requires secure clicking into place before turning, otherwise a nasty smelly mess ensues. Don’t expect the result to be anything like purchased compost, mine is too rich to use neat and it still has pieces of straw present and is quite cloddy, but it seems excellent for my type of growing. The heat generated when in a sunny position is considerable and certainly speeds up the process so I will expect decomposition to slow now winter is here. I have tried mixing some Coprinus mushroom spawn in with my last batch so it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

Sturdy, easy to assemble and holds a lot of compost. I have not experienced any issues with it opening and I’ve got it full now. I can imagine that happening if I didn’t close it carefully but that wouldn’t be a fault of the composter.

It looks better than normal composting bins and I’m pretty happy with it.

Neat and tidy solution to composting in a small garden. Rotary design makes it easy to mix and aerate the contents. Fairly easy for one person to put together. I don’t know yet how well the composting process will work as there’s no direct contact with the soil, but I’ve added activator so I’m hopeful. If not I’ll get some tiger worms.

So easy to assemble. Love the size, not too big and easy to access the hatch. Very sturdy, I just spin it every few days and hoping to get results in the next 6 weeks

    Perfect 👍

The shell is too flexible and does not lock together well when assembling it. So it distorts. I had to dis-assemble it and start again which was really difficult.
When tumbling with a load inside, the locking life fell out. We had to contrive a rope around the circumference to stop that happening. Overall, I can say it is too flimsy.

Being a newbie composter I wanted something easy, but importantly worked with me having a complex injury. I was initially looking at a much more expensive dual tumbler system but went for this to ‘test’ making compost.

Sturdy for its price, and took 30 minutes to build (defiantly best to have an extra pair of hands). It has a huge aperture to fill and empty making it easy to use. Up to active/hot temperature quickly but that’s not surprising with the current weather.

First ‘batch’ of compost ready and looks, feels and smells of good quality. Planning on buying a second one now, so I can be filling one and the other brews it’s brown gold.

I have to say and excellent buy.
