Only just got this & tried it out, but after buying many expensive (and bulky) fans in the past, included overly-priced well known brands (I’ve tried 8 totally different fans now as my house gets very hot) this is BY FAR the most effective fan I’ve ever had. The force of the air is extremely effective at having a cooling effect (despite no fan ever being an air conditioner to blow cold air). The noise is absolutely minimal. I could easily watch tv on the highest level without it being a nuisance. I have trouble sleeping but even on sleep-mode it’s so quiet (while still being effective) that it won’t be an issue like other fans. It oscilates left to right AND up and down so you can have it moving permanently or find the exact/ perfect position for it to blow air directly onto you continuously. It can’t use that much electricity as my real-time smart meter doesn’t even go up by a penny an hour when it’s on. If you want a fan that REALLY WORKS and does the job, and quietly too, this is it. I’m so glad I bought it. It’s in a league of its own. Nothing compares to this – and it’s fairly compact too. I can’t comment on longevity but I’ll hope that it doesn’t break any time soon & will update this review if it does.

Purchased during the hot summer months and found it to be just perfect. Love the low volume, which does not bother me when I sleep and the timer is a great feature. Would highly recommend.
This fan has 3 modes to use. Very efficiency, the eco mode is very smart as can change the speed of the fan according to room temperature. And it is very quiet when using the sleep mode. Good purchase.
Worth paying the extra for this fan. Very quite, it’s almost inaudible, yet noticeable cools down the room. The remote is very handy and controls all features; up/down left/right motion and fan speeds, timer etc. Surprisingly the lowest fan speed is more than enough to cool a room down, and the user will rarely use the full speed which is very powerful. It’s a safe buy

This fan has a very smooth action and is very quiet when operating. I have been very impressed with this fan. It is very powerful for its size doesn’t take up much room and has a good remote.
I had reservations about buying this fan as it expensive but took a chance. I’m really happy i took that chance though, its so quiet i leave it running throughout the night & fall asleep easily. The horizontal & vertical oscillation move lots of air around the room from top to bottom unlike conventional fans & having a remote at your finger tips means you don’t even have to get out of your chair or bed to make any adjustments. It would’ve been 5/5 but that price tag is a bit on the steep side & is reflected in the 1 star reduction.

This fan is particularly suitable for a bedroom or small sunroom. It will sit on a small ledge and still functions really well. The remote control is useful for bedrooms. It is very versatile can be used both for side to side and up and down motion.
Was skeptical about the price, but must say it makes a big difference and much better than even the dyson we have. A real breeze!

Was fab for a few days now I’ve found it changes settings on its own constantly going from full speed to low speed over and over again I mostly use it in the sleep mode which doesn’t seem to change but I’m hoping there is a fix as I’d like to buy anothe
At last I have found a ‘quiet’ fan that really is just that! On SL mode, this fan delivers a whisper quiet, soft flow of air that allows me to sleep like a baby and be kept suitably cool in the process.
However, when needed, the 1-4 speeds are perfectly adequate to circulate the air effectively around the room, and the two options for movement can be combined to provide a good change of air in all my rooms.
I look forward to trying this in the winter too to help circulate warm air from the radiators.
We are considering buying a second one for downstairs!
This is just amazing. It’s only desk size but it’s really powerful and so quiet.
Great adjustability and the “eco” setting is brilliant. I can’t get over how quiet it is, in fact on setting 1 it’s almost silent even in the early hours of the day.

With working from home *as so many of have been doing”, when the hot weather arrived and it reached 32oC in my study, I wanted a fan!! After looking at options and reading reviews I went for yhe MYCARBON deak fan. It is an excellent fan. Much quieter than previous fans I’ve used (but not silent), and it has good bells and whistles – rotates side to side and up and down; it has a remote; tells you the temperature; has a sleep mode… but it is the fan itself that makes this such a good buy. My previous desk fans only moved the air so you could feel it a couple of feet away, but this fan, even on the lowest setting, can be felt the full length of my study (ok it is a small room). It was so good qe got another one for the bedroom. It’s compact size means and the power of the fan means you can put it anywhere in the room and you feel its effects. It is quite expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
It’s expensive but well worth it! The sleep setting is wonderful and silent and even on full blast it’s quieter than my other fan! I highly recommend!
A Five star fan
I was very sceptical about ordering and wasting my money as the fan just had to be a quiet operating one. Well I was not disappointed the sleep mode function and timer are perfect and finally I am sleeping. The other features such as a remote control and the fact that the fan oscillates is an added bonus.

In use it is powerful and very quiet.

I was drawn to this fan with the glowing reviews and mostly because of its same day delivery on the hottest day of the year.
I have two ordinary fans but they seemed to be wafting warm air around.
This fan was delivered at 5pm. Popped in in the middle of my kitchen and my labrador quickly abandoned the standard fan and basked in the cool of this one.
4 speeds, the first being gentle and would be great for sleeping with. Then progressive to 4. My kitchen is 27foot long and I can feel the breeze from the bottom of the kitchen to the top. Also, on 4 in the kitchen and it’s dragging air through my living room window. Plus I can’t hear it. It’s just doing its job.
My favourite that sets it apart from the standard fans is its ability to go up and down AND side to side.
The sleep mode will be very handy for night time.
I can also see where the remote will be a good idea in a bedroom.

This fan is great! It has an eco mode that detects the room temperature and adjusts accordingly, it can go up and down and left to right, it can circulate air across 1-2 rooms, it has a magnetic remote control which can attach on the side of the fan for storage, it has an extremely quiet sleep mode, different wind speeds, and it’s small enough to use and store with ease. Well worth the money (though I did buy it at sale price!) If you are looking for a quiet and convenient quality fan, my suggestion is to stop browsing, order this one and go get yourself some ice cream to celebrate!
Edit: I have noticed it does have a high pitched buzzing sound that can be heard when in standby mode which is not good so have edited my review to 4 stars to reflect this. It is the only issue I’ve had, and we’ve had it on sleep mode all week during the heatwave, and I slept really well. I use ear plugs when sleeping and could not hear the fan at all and kept cool throughout.
So far i love this fan, enough settings to suit most temperatures, love the eco mode, which means it adapts automaticly to suit the temperature at the time. And is very quiet on sleep mode, test will be later when i use it tonight. Very pleased.
I bought this fan as I live in a flat with little through draft , when it’s really hot getting to sleep can be problematic.
It isn’t the cheapest fan you will ever buy , can be set to move side to side and up and down also comes with a remote control.
It’s quiet on the lower settings and a bit noisier on the higher settings ,also has a sleep setting .
I found it a bit noisy recently and it was quite grubby , however , after watching the video in the question /answer section I saw how to take it apart and clean it and that has reduced the noise .
I’ve owned this fan for two years now and it’s been a blessing during lockdown and the current hot/ close weather .It also work well sitting on the floor when in the living room watching tv.
Would absolutely recommend and consider it money well spent.
This fan is brilliant. In sleep mode it is really quiet and I love all the control features, especially being able to silence the bleep and switch off the light for night time use.
We ended up getting 4 of these fans as they have really been wonderful. They are easy to move around to whatever room needs them, and aren’t overly loud. Plus we love the feature that lets it circulate either up/down, side/side, or both. Highly recommend them as they are economical and efficient.
Fantastic fan. Cute and compact with 4 different speeds. Extremely quiet. Occilates side to side as well as up and down to get the best effect all over the room. Nice to look at and not an ugly eyesore. Handy remote control that can be stored on the side by the built in magnet. This is the 2nd one of these fans I have purchased and although a little on the dearer side its well worth the money.
Excellent fan, already have a dyson and couldn’t justify the cost of getting a second one, this however, is just as good. Sleep mode is super quiet, and you can turn off display light, which you can’t on the dyson. I would choose this over the far more expensive fan any day.
Nice mid size ventilator with remote control. It nicely fits with furniture doesn’t stick out from other items.

On Sleep Mode, the fan is virtually silent, just what I wanted in the summer.
It did become a little noisy and required cleaning. I could not dismantle the unit as required for cleaning, the fan blades were stuck too tightly on the shaft. The Company sent me a replacement without question

Brilliant fan! Super quiet on ‘Sleep Mode’ so you don’t even realise that the fan is on. I love the added convenience of the remote control as you can alter the settings from the other side of the room without having to get out of your chair/bed. The fan oscillates both side to side, and up and down so you can easily set the direction of air flow. In my personal opinion, this fan is far better than any of the Dyson range (although it may not look as stylish!)
Looks like a quality fan, sturdy. Definitely the best one I have bought so far and I have had a few. Very quiet on sleep mode. Has lots of functions also. Makes a slight noise when turning but not a problem.
I looked at and tried many fans and read lots of reviews before, somewhat sceptically, I bought this one.
It has been running coniously now for 3 weeks or more. It is so quiet you only now it is running by the breeze, especially in sleep mode, which is where it gets most use. It is the only fan I have found to be this quiet. My only concern is how do I take the cover off to clean the blades of dust when it needs it?

I bought this the day before we had the first big day of heat back in May – and I am so glad I did.
The biggest bonus has been being able to place the fan on the cabinet next to my bed at night, put it on rotate, set the timer, put it on sleep mode, turn off the function back lights and go to bed and keep cool. On sleep mode it was inaudible. If the heat woke me in the middle of the night I quickly worked out how to use the remote control in the dark without turning my lamp on, so I could reset another hour and go back to sleep.
I really loved the fact that the fan showed the temperature – even when it was telling me my room was 32 degrees at 10pm!

This is a good fan, but then it wasn’t cheap. Fan on level 1 and sleep mode is quiet, but I think as I’ve been using the fan it’s getting noisier.you do get a good cool breeze from it even on level 1.

Very powerful for such a small fan, and very good at cooling a room as it oscillates not only from side to side but also up and down.
The sleep mode is very quiet and you can turn off the display so you don’t have an annoying light while you sleep. There is also an eco mode which is super useful as it keeps you a good temperature while conserving energy.
Firstly it is SO quiet – not silent, but definitely quiet and ‘sleepthroughable’. Even at it’s highest speed (4) it’s ignorable and it REALLY shifts air at that speed. The air flow is VERY ‘tight’ and ‘focused’ so even at the lowest speed you can feel the air flow 3m away if you’re directly in its path. Because it is so focused I find I use the oscillation function most of the time. The oscillation function – horizontal and vertical – is excellent. It really circulates throughout a room, right into the corners.
The Eco mode is wonderful, reducing the fan speed as the room cools – Sleep mode is very quiet – and there’s a timer.
You can turn off the display and beep on the unit so you don’t disturb your partner when you adjust it. It’s very compact and stable, more traditional fans have most of the wight in the motor, so they are top-heavy. AND it arrives assembled.
The manual is quite good, though written by someone who clearly doesn’t have English as their first language – so some of it is amusingly quaint, and some bits need a couple of reads to understand.
However… I do wish the power cord were longer, it’s about 1.5m long, 2-3m would be better. While the magnetic remote is a neat idea (so it has somewhere to live when not in use) it’s not very strong, and falls off easily. I’ll probably replace it with some Velcro.
But this is nitpicking compared to fact that this quiet, powerful, compact and attractive fan just sits in a corner and gets on with cooling the WHOLE room.
There would be 5 stars if there were more speed settings , other than that its a great little fan . Seems well made , nice and sturdy . The sleep function is good as I’m a light sleeper , very quiet . It’s a small fan that packs a punch when on full .
Better than expected overall quality.
Buy with confidence if you are after a quiet fan for sleeping. The dedicated sleep mode is very gental but gives just enough breeze at night. The remote is simple to operate and so convenient. You can even turn off the LED indicator lights (on by default as a thermometer), or disable any operating beeps with it.
I liked the product as its very quiet which I like if you are on a Zoom call or want to use it at night when you sleep.
My previous fan was smaller which I would have preferred but it is very effective.
if you want to choose the quietest fan for sleep – you must compare a few of them at the same time, but as a normal summer daytime use it’s very good. I would even sleep with it because it’s very quiet on sleep mode, but my partner prefers better blow and that’s where it goes too noisy for me. It’s got 4 speeds plus 2 modes (Eco and sleep – cannot change the speed on those). It’s very powerful on full speed for such a small fan and honestly it is still bigger than it looks on the photos or reviews. It looks super cool and i love the feature of side oscillation where half of the base is moving 🙂
ONE CON: when the fan oscillates up on high speed it reaches the point where it cannot suck the air as it’s just above the base and it makes a loud noise and there’s no actual blow until it goes back down a bit. It would be ok on lower speed
It’s a bit bigger than I thought it would be – you can get an idea of the size from the photos I added. Still, it’s not too big to sit on the end of a bedside table.
First impressions are that it has a nice build quality – quite weighty and not at all flimsy. It’s quick and easy to set up too
The fan is pretty quiet – even on top speed it was still quieter than her old one. Switching it to sleep mode drops the speed down and it’s almost silent. It’s certainly not kept her awake.
You can make it move up/down and left/right via a toggle button for each, therefore with both on it blows air all around the room quite evenly.
It was a little more than I wanted to pay for this, but if it lasts then it will be worth the extra money.
This fan does beat the rest without a doubt. Its reasonably priced too. Sleep mode is silent. Then the noise goes up a tiny bit as you get to 4. I have to turn my tv up a touch if i do have it on 4. Honestly its very rare you need to put this fan on 4. Also i was worried about running up the electric bill but no once again they were right it has had really no effect after 10 days straight of running it. Sleep mode is fab at night and so easy to pop on a timer. The remote is simple to use and makes all the difference as this fan can be placed anywhere to do its job.
Do not panic if your fan has been running for some time and you think it is noisier than usual. It just needs a clean. One simple screw a quick wipe and your good to go again.
I used to dread the hot summer nights as I suffer with menopausal symptoms and burning feet.
After trying lots of other cheaper fans in the bedroom and finding them far too noisy I bought this one hoping it would be effective and quiet enough on sleep mode.
I am so thrilled with this fan, it has exceeded my expectations and it really is quiet! (So many of them say they’re quiet when they really are not!!) It is quite small so I have it on the ottoman at the end of the bed where it directs a nice soothing gentle breeze to me and particularly my feet!!
The remote control and timer are very important features, I tend to leave it on all night on sleep mode when the temperature is really hot and when it’s slightly cooler I put it on the timer for a couple of hours when I get in bed to help me get off to sleep. When you switch the fan on it gives you the temperature of the room and being an air cooler you can put it on for a while before you go to bed on a higher speed so it oscillates and bounces off the walls to cool the room down.
I no longer dread the hot nights now that I have this great little fan. Although it’s quite expensive it is worth every penny! A must buy if you need an effective quiet fan for sleeping during hot weather.
This is an excellent product and exactly as described. We purchased this with the probability of very hot weather, and have found that is both quiet and powerful. It may have been more expensive than other fans that are available, but with its lack of noise, especially overnight it has made the, purchase good value for money as it works very well so far.

I bought this fan as I have just installed air conditioning in my loft conversion for the summer months. The aircon works well but I needed it to cool downstairs quicker as I only have the single unit.
This fan is not cheap but you get what you pay for. The fan has a good weight to it and feels quality made
The power is whats the most impressive. My room is 8m long and I was able to blow cold air onto my daughter from across the room. It is really impressive.
It is pretty quiet for the power it generates and it manages to rotate in all directions to hit every part of your room.

I have bought cheap desk fans and very expensive Dyson fans (300+) but neither really do the job of cooling down a large living room. This one however does the job very well. Really powerful. Not too noisy. Some people that review this and have said it is loud at night. They must be light sleepers. Eco mode works well, keeps cool at night and during the hot days. Really good at cooling down big spaces like the living room.

The fan itself is very quiet and turns 180 degrees upwards and sideways and the cooling power is quite impressive for a desk fan.
Great little remote control that does everything from turning on/off, speed control, spinning control, timer, etc.

The features on this fan are fantastic, it suits every need and the fan is surprsingly powerful for it’s size, doing a great job at circulating the air in a room to keep a room cool whilst not being overwhelmingly loud.
In my previous review of this product, I mentioned how there was a high pitch whine coming from the fan when it was not running (but plugged in with power on), I have since been sent a newer model where this is still a present issue, but much less prominent, and isn’t a problem which detracts value from the overall product in my opinion.
Also very impressed with the customer service, as mentioned above, they were keen to send a new model out as a replacement for a previous plobematic model.
This is a remarkable fan and it far surpasses my expectations. I did expect less, I have to be honest. That’s despite the really positive reviews! Mainly because as far as I was concerned, anything that simply pushes the air around just creates a breeze. By experience, the bigger fans just create a bigger breeze, and although table top fans can be pretty good we hadn’t yet found one of any size that had blown our minds on performance. But as this fan has a couple of hundred reviews on Amazon and very few negative criticisms I bought it and I really hoped that this would indeed be a bit more special than an ordinary table fan.
The first thing we realised when we got this was that this creates a really cold and intense blast of air. They aren’t kidding when they use the word ‘turbo’ because It far out-performs our massive floor standing fan! It had been a really warm day when we unboxed this and the evening was cooling down fast, so I will even say that the cool air that hit me was slightly unpleasant as well as being a bit of a shock. We have a seriously hot house as soon as the weather improves with the summers being very uncomfortable and summer nights impossibly hot (our upstairs rooms don’t ventilate too well). So this has been used already in the bedroom and I could really do with another one downstairs – but as the fan is small enough and light enough (2.1kg) to easily move from room to room it’s no big deal. Also the size makes it easy to find a spot to place it, and if you’re lucky enough to have a power supply within 1.5m of a window I suspect that this is going to be a game changer for circulating fresh air into the room.
The settings are impressive and cover side-to-side (70 to each side) and up-and-down (up to 90) oscillations as well as the three modes (normal, eco and also the quiet sleep mode) and four different speeds. Between that little lot, there’s a good choice. So the manufacturer has also added a timer of up to 12 hours to that (in one hour increments). Which is great at this time of year where the bedroom doesn’t need cooling all night, but you’d like to drift off to sleep with the fan running.
The panel is touch sensitive and is actually very simple to operate with six touch buttons which are self explanatory by their symbols. If you’re feeling too lazy to get up or you’re settled in bed, the remote will do the same functions. A final attention to detail is the magnetic remote holder on the side of the fan (nifty)! There’s also a display to show speed (1-4) and SL for sleep mode.
In eco mode, the fan possesses intelligence that can detect the ambient room temperature and adjusts the speed appropriately. There’s a chart in the well written instructions which explains the temperature:speed settings, so that the user can adjust an appropriate speed under normal mode. Turbo speed has cooled our whole room completely in just a few minutes.
In terms of sound, it’s also every bit as quiet as they state. It’s worth mentioning here that keeping the blades dust free is paramount to stopping any noise (dust imbalances the blades), and the manufacturer has designed this well – so opening the cage to service the blades is an easy enough job. Doing this is well explained in the manual too.
I know that the price label doesn’t make this cheap, but you seriously get what you pay for with this fan and it’s a great investment if you can’t bear being too hot.
First time in years I have had a good nights sleep with this fan on sleep mode. I needed something quiet as I’m a light sleeper and after reading the reviews decided to purchase this and am so glad I did. A complete night of sleeping right through.
It seems well built, easily controlled from the remote, and considering how powerful it is, it’s also surprisingly quiet compared to my other dektop fan.
It even has a button to turn the display off at night.
I am without a doubt going to buy more of these for the rest of the house.

It makes all the right noises but no breeze to speak of, what is going on 90 waste of money. No way to take apart and clean and no warranty ! Do not buy. I want my money back Amazon.
UPDATE Have now cleaned as per instructions given in youtube video and now it works fine.
But please can I get a new remote as the on off button on mine has stopped working, all other buttons are working fine.
Nice peice of kit. Plastic but very solid feel. Rotation (up and down and to side to side) is excellent for circulation. Quite on sleep mode but still audible. Quite noisy on the higher modes if your thinking about sleeping…
Really good and well worth paying a bit more for the quality and ability to direct the airflow not only from left to right – but up and down too . The design makes cleaning easy and, even on the highest fan setting the noise isn’t intrusive.
The remote is an extra little luxury I didn’t think I would use – but is SO handy when you’re comfy in bed and want to adjust one of the settings.
The noise level is almost non-existent in the ‘sleep’ low setting, and the 3D oscillation on its pivoting base is just awesome. – Keep it cleaned, and the wind velocity on full setting will blow your toupee off!
Trust me, you need this fan!
Lovely quality fan. Quieter than the usual ones, sleep mode not as quiet as expected but I’m an extremely light sleeper. Was ok with ear plugs in! Great it goes up & down as well as around. Very solid & good quality & remote control is excellent. I would buy another one & recommend it to anyone although it is quite a bit more expensive than other fans. Worth paying more for a bit quieter at night in my opinion.
This fan can either be in a fixed position or, rotate left to right horizontally or, vertically or, both vertically & horizontally at the same time. The speed can be from a low whisper to a fast speed in either mode. There is a sleep mode which is a low whisper cooling mode which can be set to switch of after you set a timer in one hour increments. A brilliant fan which is worth the high price.
Whilst looking for a fan for the bedroom during the summer months i stumbled across this one and i had looked at quite a few. I was a bit apprehensive at first because of its size and thought it wouldn’t be effective but how wrong i was.
I had looked at the description which peaked my interest and after reading the reviews decided to buy it and i can say without conviction that it has been one of the best purchases i have made.
It fits nicely on top of the bedroom drawers, so it doesn’t intrude to much into the room. Ocellates both vertically and horizontally, 4 speed and has the mode settings as well, the best being the sleep mode as it makes the fan really quiet but generates a nice cool breeze which was just what was needed.
The only thing we had a minor gripe about was that the air flow came just above our heads so we made a little wedge to tilt the fan base but without tipping it over, and it did the trick. It was like sleeping in a nice cooling breeze. “LOVE IT”.
Once again for a small fan it is really effective and the fact that you can operate it with the remote is a bonus, which attaches magnetically to the side of the fan.
This is the quietest fan we have found. The sleep mode is excellent and the oscillation mode is a real boost to what otherwise would be considered a normal fan. In addition this fan has a remote control which when not in use attaches to the main stem by magnet, a really great idea. A great deal of thought has been put into the production of this product and I believe it will be difficult to find a better product for the price.
The old saying, you get what you pay for, applies here. Yes, this is expensive but what you get is far superior to the way cheaper flimsy things sold by their hundreds. I have bought loads of fans over the years but this one is leaps and bounds ahead. Fully remote controlled, quiet, nice strong air flow, and can oscillate both up and down or side to side. This can be one or the other, both, or just stationary, and all controllable via the remote or the touch buttons in the base. The base also has a thermometer build in that displays the temperature which is a nice addition. I highly recommend this. Might even buy another as it has become quite popular in our house.
Edit: I’ve now had this fan for three years, and it’s still wonderful! It’s definitely worth cleaning out the dust every few months in order to keep it at peak condition.
This fan is honestly worth spending the money – there is a huge jump in quality between a standard fan and this one. It’s well made, the power is impressive and feels like it’s a much bigger fan than it its. We’ve been sleeping with it at night on the sleep mode, and it’s no louder than a white noise machine or air purifier. I love all the different modes that you can control with the remote, and having a fan that can blow up and down, left and right, as well as in circles is perfect because you can really move the air about.
Opening it is like having a new toy at Christmas. It is that quiet you wonder if you’ve turned it on. Its not interfering with other sounds in the room ie tv or talking. The air coming out cools the room and the oscillating features are great. The various modes are FANTASTIC and it goes slightly quieter on SLEEP mode. I won’t spoil any more so when you take it out of the box it’s a surprise. It’s well worth it.
Had to get used to this small fan, as it’s different from a normal desk fan. Doesn’t have *fast* oscillate. But now used to it am very pleased, even though expensive compared to an ordinary desk fan. Glad I got it. Will be worth the money if it lasts. Seems well built.
Much much better than a cheapo fan. The oscillation is smooth. The ‘natural’ mode really is a bit like having a window open. The unit is very quiet unless on top power level 4. Magnetic remote is great. Unit is very compact!
Basically, it’s the perfect fan… and small enough to be hoisted into a different room.
Although it doesn’t reduce the temperature it does cool the room down nicely due to the way it rotates. Whole room feels cool opposed to just one area. Some say o high it is too loud, but not for me. I am used to cars going past the window etc and could easily fall asleep with it on high. Certainly quieter than some other fans i have. Slower speeds obviously quieter. Love the remote control. When I can afford it will be getting another for downstairs to help keep the doggies cool
Nice little gadget, looks slick, works well, remote is handy. Vertical oscillation is pretty cool too. But the one thing that was most important to me was it’s supposedly quiet sleep mode and I must say it’s absolutely no quieter than a regular, cheaper fan.
This is a nice bedside fan (or desk fan) with a large number of features. The product is packaged in high quality packaging and is nice and heavy, imparting a feeling of quality. The supplied remote mimics the touch-sensitive buttons on the base of the fan itself.
The fan sits sturdily on its heavy base. The buttons take a few minutes to get used to and it’s well worth spending some time learning the functions available. There are essentially three modes: Normal (standard steady-speed), Natural (randomly varying speeds to simulate an outdoors breeze) and Sleep mode (single, slow speed). The Normal and Natural modes have four levels of intensity. The Sleep mode is single-speed only.
The vertical and horizontal oscillating features work very nicely.
You can definitely feel the breeze produced by this fan from a few feet away so it is quite a powerful fan for a small room.
There’s also a really useful sleep time – I use this every day at the moment and set it to one hour. This helps you sleep as you feel the breeze and hear the quiet noise of the fan.
During the day, this fan is really quiet at the slowest speed settings. However, in the dead of night, it’s not that quiet at all. I found no almost no difference between Normal Mode speed 1 and Sleep mode. They sounded at nearly the same volume level to me. You can definitely hear the fan quite clearly. When any of the oscillating functions are enabled at night, then there’s a small amount of additional mechanical and motor noise introduced. It’s fairly quiet but not that quiet.
One really nice feature is the room temperature display on the top of the fan (the temperature is only displayed when the fan is switched off).
On balance, this fan seems to be really well made, feels very high quality, has a useful remote that attached to the body of the fan magnetically so is conveniently stored, is quiet enough for night-time use and has a sleep timer function that is very, very useful.
Very good, Powerful fan. Replaced my degraded slow performing Honneywell turbo fan. This is superior in every way. Very premium. Remote is really responsive the fan makes a beep sound when changing any setting. I live in a small flat I placed the fan by my window to funnel fresh air into my living room… I have the Ansio pedestal fan with remote in the living room circulating. Really good set up and keeps the flat cool and airy.
This fan is like having you’re own Jodrell bank. It’s amazing just to watch let alone the fact that it’s a brilliant fan. It’s expensive but worth every penny. I bought the first one over a year ago and am so impressed with it that I bought one for my daughter and have now ordered another for us. Although slightly smaller than a conventional fan it is more powerful and also cools the air. When not in use it’s a great ornament.

I was reluctant to spend the money on this because Amazon seems to be full of fans with dodgy sounding reviews (I even saw the same review written by two different people!?) I went with this one because it’s the only one that I felt sounded vaguely legitimate. I also didn’t want to buy some cheap crap and immediately regret it.
Totally blown away by my choice (ha!). It’s geniunely beautiful design, I can’t even hear it in my office and the rotating movement is hypnotisingly smooth.

Only slight niggle is with the Digital display on the top rather than the front side you can’t see the speed or mode your in from across the room if using the remote which stores beautifully on the side of the fan magnetically. The first fan that clearly demonstrates the advantages of having a fan for all times of the year

My hubby has COPD and struggles with is breathing especially this weather. He’s also on oxygen and ordered this because the tower fans wee not helping. Although this is not a huge fan it’s power is remarkable, it’s quiet when running and the remote is a bonus. We have this one in the bedroom, and I am expecting another one today. My sister also has this condition and have ordered one for her today so nearly 270 well spent for both their comfort. Can’t recommend this enough.
I wanted it to keep my cool at night and one of my concerns was how loud it is. I am happy to report that it is incredibly quiet on its lowest setting and to feel a pleasant, cool breeze at night, that is all it needs. It provides a very impressive breeze on its higher settings.
The fact that it will oscillate, not only side to side, but also up and down, is something I haven’t seen before and makes it much more versatile. It even gives a read out of the temperature of the room, which is useful.
I was a bit concerned when I saw how bright the light is on the base, but as soon as you use the sleep function, it dims this right down.
I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who wants a well-made, electric fan to keep them cool during the day and in particular, when looking for a fan that is efficient, but also very quiet, to use at night.
The size of the fan is smaller than traditional electric fans, won’t make too big space. The sound is very quiet, when open the no. 1 wind speed almost can’t hear any voice, very suitable for bedroom or study. Can turn up and down, left and right, keep the whole room cool. There are 12 hours timer function, so don’t need to wake up in the midnight to turn it off if the temperature drops at night. Remote control has magnetic, can stick on the electric fan, so don’t worry to find remote control . Very nice setting.
