Powerfull oscillating fan. Impressive, I have bought 2 now. Not that quiet but it is a fan and is not invasive if left on overnight.

I really like this tower fan and have found that, during the warmer weather it has kept me cool, at night even on the middle speed.

Two little issues: it is quite noisy. This doesn’t bother me as I can sleep with it on, but I know it might bother lighter sleepers.
Second issue: it wobbles. This bothered me a little to start with but doesn’t seem unsafe so I’ve learned to live with it!

Overall, great fan and would buy anothe

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIts a bit wobbly because of its height and the turntable it sits on, on top of the stand. If anything its a little top heavy, but as long as you don’t touch it when its not working, it doesn’t wobble about to much. Otherwise when its working, its quiet and powerful, the medium level is slightly louder but it is still powerful and it works really well. The height has alot to do with it, it reaches everywhere in the home, taller than most and the fan starts blowing from approx 12″ from the ground to the top.
The remote control is an added bonus, it works really well and saves you having to move about too much in this heatwave.
I’m glad I got it, I just hope it will last as long as my last one did, for 5 yrs.

The beeps on any operation whether from the remote or from the unit buttons are so loud that it wakes up the baby despite there being a loud white noise machine on in the room.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was fed up with a tall stick with a round dinner plate on top. Basically tall fans never look right where ever they stand. So I looked at these style of fans & looking & reading up & also the features & price I thought I would try this NETTA fan. It’s brilliant, it’s so quiet & with this heat the night time mode is superb. Also the remote is a bonus as you don’t have to keep getting up to operate it, lazy I know but still it’s that good so I brought another so I have one in living room & one in my bedroom. Perfect & I would highly recommend that you try & you will see what I’m talking about.

It’s powerful so I don’t mind it but it’s definitely not quiet and the beeping is loud when changing speed etc. bright Led light when changing modes etc. too bright at night, but shuts off eventually. I don’t like that the speed and power button is the same on the remote. But like I said it’s powerful and gives a good wind.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had this fan for a few months now and overall I’m quite impressed with it. it’s not too noisy compared to some other fans I’ve had, and the remote control feature is excellent. I mainly bought it because it said it was quiet, and for the different modes that it has . but found in every day usage I just use a standard mode as the sleep mode wasn’t very effective, as it keeps going loud then quiet, loud then quiet, which isn’t very conducive to sleep, so I just keep it on the steady output and this is nice and quiet and keeps me a cool when I’m trying to sleep. above all it’s a very good fan and well worth the money.

Takes up hardly any space. I can move it around to any room without hassle as it’s pretty light to carry. I can have it on while I’m in bed and because of having the remote control I can just click and turn it off or put it on sleep mode. A good buy.

Best fan that I have owned

Nice fan. Pretty compact. Got it on a shelf facing my 6-year old who’s very proud of ‘her fan’. She likes the sleep mode and the ‘forest’ setting.

Appears to have some features to do with temperature which I’ve not been able to figure out but the rest of it is common sense.

Quite noisy, but honestly not a problem for us.

    A tad rickety, though.

Quiet and works really well. Seems a bit wobbly but it’s quite tall compared to the side of the base. Would need a safe space if you have croutch goblins that are inquisitive. However had no issues and would recommend.

The fan was a bit fiddly to assemble mainly due to weight. The base had too bend under over to get studs in place then rotate to align with screw holes. Took some time. Remote is basic flimsy material piso switch like old computers had, yes could do with set time on maybe stronger too.

All in all 3 speeds and blow settings and oscillating can slow down as turns. I wish could set temp on too I like the temp on in clear LED screen functions. The manual don’t give any clue too anything about it just basic information would like more what things do like blow in detail.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased the 36 inch model in white. It’s a nice looking design and all the functions work as the manufacturer states in their description. It’s quieter than I expected so that was a definite plus as it was for the bedroom. The only design flaw is the way it connects to the two-part base. The self-assembly base is not difficult but make sure you place the power lead between the two halves before you clip them together..duh. Once assembled to the base, the tower has what I can only describe as ‘slop’..more noticeable if it’s in oscillating mode. Other than that, for the money it’s an okay purchase.

I’m going to start this by saying that overall I like this product, it’s much better than the desk fan it replaced.

    Pros:
    Remote works well
It moves a lot of air
    not to loud

    Cons:
when a button is pressed on either the remote or the tower itself emits a loud beep that I haven’t found a way to turn off
When on the stand it has a wobbling movement if hit not enough to knock it over but enough that you question the quality of the product.

This is a fantastic and powerful fan especially needed in the summer ! Not too noisy and so cooling I would highly recommend and would definitely purchase again! I know my son wants one now. We have the Dyson Fan and as much as they are good I have to admit this is more powerful and can feel the instant cooling when turned on!!

Works very well and and cooling nicely. Very powerful on full setting. Sleep mode is a bit odd and bit noisy but that doesn’t bother me at all as I like white noise. Base could be more secured as it’s a bit wobbly. Can hold on carpet but I would suggest to stand on hard surface.
Would be 5 stars if the base is more stable.

I bought this and the sound is so smooth yet not loud , no rackety noise even when rotating , definitely blows out nice cool air and looks sleek and modern. If you want a good fan , buy this one. Only note is it wobbles a fair bit of you were to be brushing by it all the time due to the lightness of it, other than that, perfect! Worth every penny.

Ok this is about the 44inc version. First off the less talked about mode ION this is perfect for my gaming room keeps dust away (possibly) ether way it’s an extra .. The fan is absolutely gorgeous for cool air .. It keeps me from sweating buckets while in vr. There is one thing that’s a little annoying on the lowest setting it starts off a nice gentle breeze then ramps up randomly not a huge amount but definitely a difference. Other than that it’s absolutely the bomb .. Feel the breeze baby

Can’t fault this – we have it in our bedroom on hot nights and it is very powerful and the remote is great. The only thing that could be improved is that it could be quieter. It’s not noisy but it’s not exactly silent either.

Good fan. Set timer during the night to go off when the temperature drops. Worked well. Will definitely use it during the summer hot months. Ideal being able to see the room temperature too.

  39. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Main gripe is that it only has 3 levels of power, the incrementing scale led makes you think it has more, but it doesn’t. If the lowest level is too loud, or strong, too bad.

Secondary gripe is that the control does not have an off button, you have to turn the fan higher and higher, before it turns off.

Otherwise it works fine as a fan, blows air like you’d expect, and hasn’t done anything bad yet.

I love this fan. I haven’t faced a single problem yet.

Don’t get me wrong, its not built great or the most premium feeling. You literally get what you pay for, some may even argue a bit more.

Its sturdy displays room temperature (accuracy is anyone’s guess), and is fairly noisy. The fan speeds are crazy and I can guarantee it is as fast as your typical pedestal fan. Would recommend and buy again without a second thought.

Looks stylish and definitely gives a good range in its flow – probably a little too much if you sit in a wheelchair, due to proximity. But that’s more about where you position it. It was easy to unpack and set up. And it’s a fan and well – it works. And the bonus is the remote aspect so that the wheelchair user can switch it off.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis machine is amazing. With the recent 30 degrees frying the country, my living room was like a furnace. NETTA thankfully did the trick. At the lowest power, fifteen feet away ‘she’ kept me cool. At mid-power she kept me cooler and managed to turn the pages of a book on the coffee table. I never switched it to full power because it there was no need.
Beautifully designed and with a digital read-out this surely must be the best on the market. I showed it to a neighbour who immediately ordered one and I must admit I played a trick on him, although there was no need to, to enable sales. Into my living room he comes, in 30 degrees, and there I am sitting facing NETTA wearing a top coat.
‘I see NETTA is a great success,” he smiled.
‘You can say that again Tommy, no contest!

I had bought a different one, but due to stock it was late coming, I am so glad that happened as I was able to cancelled that one and ordered this one which was a bit more money but was more powerful and because it is black fitted in better with the decor!! TV being also black. Haven’t used sleep mode yet.

Love this tower fan, easy to assemble, its speed settings are perfect, it oscilates really well and smoothly, it is noisy when on full power, but does the job, the remote is simple and easy to use, and includes an Ion button, or you can use the main controls on the fan itself. It has a timer mode and activates when room temperature is too warm etc. (See imstruction leaflet) overall a well made, good quality fan, would recommend

Decent fan, I invested a bit more in this one than my previous 30 ‘budget’ white one and so far I’m pleased. It looks smart and is a lot more powerful. It was easy to put together although the butterfly screws mean it seems to wobble a bit on the base- that’s not really an issue as it’s on a flat surface but as mentioned in other reviews it’s a simple design fix that would make the fan seem more solid and better quality. There also isn’t much in the way of explanation of its various functions: ‘natural mode’ just seems to randomly cycle through different speeds!

Some other reviews also mention that the blue display light is quite bright in a bedroom at night, but the display ‘sleeps’ after a couple of minutes. I like the fact it displays the temperature of the room and the remote control is a great addition.

Was easy to assemble however, the foot of the tower is a bit flimsy and the tower wobbles when on a high speed. Tried to resolve but it makes no difference to the surface it’s on as the wobble comes from the connection joint from tower to foot. That said it’s not a big issue.
The sleep mode is actually quite loud and I am slightly deaf! As long as you have it on the lowest blow, then it’s pretty quiet.
On a positive note..Nice touch to have a remote control. The appliance is very smart looking and being tall, rises above your mattress in bed for cool air to reach you. Foremost, this tower is very powerful and creates lovely cool breezes, unlike some that just circulates the hot air. It has an ion mode that helps with dust and allergies.
Apart from the wobble and the actual sleep mode, not very quiet, this is a nice tower fan and I would still recommend

When I bought my last fan, I paid about 21 for it. I did love it, but it can get loud, and the vents are small. I had to put it on a nightstand so I could feel it. When I saw this fan, I read so many reviews and decided to get it. I do not regret getting this fan; It is quiet, it’s tall, and the vents are big. I can really feel this across the room, and it doesn’t take long for it to cool down a room. The remote is easy to use, the display does turn off after about 30 sec, and it’s quiet. I work from home, and I couldn’t use the other fan because it’s loud. Now that I have this fan, I can use it while working, and the customers will never know. I wish I read the reviews before I got the first fan, and sometimes, cheaper is not always an option when you want certain features/specs/etc. in a product. This is worth the extra cost. My husband and I really love this fan, and we highly recommend this fan.

Does a great job of cooling a room. Fairly quiet for the amount of air it moves (I haven’t used the sleep mode, but have fallen asleep with it on), although I do wish the “low” setting was a bit lower.

Aesthetically it’s well-built, looks slick, and takes up a surprisingly small amount of space in the corner of a room. Only gripe there is that while on standby (plugged in but powered off) the display glows a dim blue, which is visible across a very dark room.

  74. MercedeBuckmast says:

     United Kingdom

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersThe main thing I assume prospective purchasers of this are interested in is what the fan is like as a fan.

This is better than any ‘traditional’ fan I’ve ever owned. It is not really quiet but the sound it makes is smooth and even and sounds OK, even on the lowest setting it is more audible than my old fan, but boy does it blow! I sit about 10 feet away from where I placed mine in the corner.

If set on the lowest fan speed it hits me with a pretty impressive wave of air where I set which is about 10 feet away. I’ve tried standing a further five feet from it on minimum, and I can still feel it cooling me. But if I put it on maximum and stand in the opposite corner of my 20 foot living room, effectively 22″ away from the fan, I can still feel a breeze.

I can honestly say that I can see me never having to use it on any higher setting than minimum, certainly medium.

The air blows out of this in a column of air through vents which begin about 7″ from the floor and which stops at 6″ from the top of the tower, so basically 3′ off the floor. Even sitting on my couch it still hits me.

The buttons on the top from left to right are: Oscillation (OSC), Auto 25c, Timer, Mode, Speed and Power.

    OSC
Oscillation obviously sets the tower to oscillate back and forth over a 65 arc, you will simply have to move this around in order to get it to cover the area you want it to cool. The default setting for this is off, and the fan reverts to this setting after you turn it off even if you had it on.

    AUTO 25c
This temperature is pre-set at 25c by default. Unfortunately neither can it be adjusted to automatically turn the fan on at a temperature that the user chooses – which is what I thought it did before I bought it. If you’ve chosen to use the fan in the timer mode, once the room temperature reaches 25c it will turn on. But it is NOT accurate, which in the UK is an advantage as when it does automatically start at its 25c, it is really between 22.7c and 23.4c on my accurate room thermometer

Pressing the ‘timer’ button flashes ‘auto’ in the display and (if it’s alreaddy running) it turns itself off waiting for the temperature to reach 25c before activating. Also in Auto mode when it starts nothing shows on the display.

    TIMER
Each press of the button increases the time by 0.5, half an hour. This indication replaces the area where the temperature is normally displayed. You can increase the time only until reaches the maximum of 8.0 hours. One more press sets it to 0.0 and after a few seconds the temperature will be re-displayed in its place.

    MODE
Standard (when the display is showing a fan) is the basic function of the fan, a simple and constant airflow through the vests at the power you set. This is the default setting that the fan reverts to after you turn it off.

Natural (when the display is showing tree and breeze lines) now this is an interesting one in itself. I think it is meant to simulate being outside where a breeze is not a constant and unchanging thing. In this setting it will slow the air down, speed it up, even stop it, seemingly at random, it will alter the length of time that it blows air in these different states too. It’s not really my cup of tea but that is what it does, it basically tries to emulate being outdoors. In this mode you will see the fan-speed bar graph rising and falling as it changes speeds from off to normal, medium and high, at random.

Sleep (when the display is showing a sleepy emoji) I’ve no idea what the sleep really does at all, it seems to be a milder, less active version of the ‘natural’ setting. Sleep alters the fan speed now and again from slow to high but never turns the fan off as ‘natural’ does. As far as I can tell that is all it does, to be honest all these changed would hinder my ability to sleep.

    SPEED
Pretty simple, three speeds where each press of the button increases it, accompanied by more (and taller) bars being added to the graph in the display. The default setting for this is minimum, and the fan reverts to this setting after you turn it off even if you had it on a higher setting.

    THE DISPLAY
You cannot turn the display off yourself but it does turn off by itself, and it does so after a minute of using any of the buttons (inactivity). It will turn on again when you press any button to change a setting but will then eventually turn itself off. When you turn the power off the temperature indication will stay there for a minute before going off.

A note on the operation (wake up/displaybuttons) of this tower fan. If the display is off (as it will do after a minute of no button being pressed), the first press of any button will wake it, then you will need to press the button again to make adjustments. For example to turn the fan off when the display is dark you will need to press the ‘power’ button once, it will beep, and then press it again to turn off the fan. Same for all the function buttons.

One issue as indicated previously. Once you turn it off (stop), if you had it set on oscillate, or any other fan speed than low, or any other mode than standard, it will not remember what setting these three options were set to when you switched it off, so when you start it again it will be on normal speed, standard mode and oscillate will be off. You’ll have to set these to your preference again – each time you start it.

Just one more quick observation. This fan, although it cools me (I prefer it pointing directly at me on hot days), it will not cool the room at all. Two nights ago it was 20.5c here at 19:00 so I put the fan on oscillate and left it there until I went to bed sometime after midnight. The ambient temperature was exactly the same as it was at 19:00. I was nice and cool because of the cooling effect moving air has on skin, but the room – still the same. So please do not buy this if you want it for cooling a space as that it not what it does.

Every year I have to buy a new tower because they break. But this time I got the jackpot, this tower is the best I’ve ever had. Silence, nice looking, with so many options I love it and I very much recommend i

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis review is about the Netta 36 inch tower fan.

Having owned cheaper and more expensive fans I think this is a good product for the money I paid for it, 55. It has 3 speeds, 3 modes as well as a timer, automatic on/off and oscillation. It’s mostly made of piano black plastic – which is quite a good thing in terms of cleaning and durability; it’s light so easy to move around and the remote control is satisfactory quality. The level of noise is low but if you want it to push air, any fan is going to make noise.

Now for some negatives. Firstly, although the whole thing is 36 inches tall, the actual fan section only goes as high as about 31 inches/78 cm which could be quite important for your use case. The stand is also made of plastic in two halves that clip together and held onto the fan by 3 wing head bolts. It’s a tiny bit fiddly and more wobbly than I expected but as long as you aren’t moving it around it seems stable enough. I do think that at this price point they could have made it more rigid and greatly enhanced the perception of quality. On the remote the on/off doubles as the speed selector so you must cycle through all the speeds to get to off. My final point is that whenever you press a button on the fan or on the remote there is a loud beep that you cannot turn off, which isn’t so great if you want to use this in a bedroom.

It is quiet enough in my small office so as not to be distracting , efficient and looks great.
I haven’t tried the sleep mode yet or remote control yet.

Reasonable price, there are cheaper available but this fan is powerful with a remote control and was promptly delivered; happy with purchase

Neat fan, powerful enough for most situation, not overly noisy, night time is a little too heavy on the lowest setting, it’s not that it’s overly noisy but it’s just a bit too much air, would have liked a other lower setting. Other than that I’m happy with it, money worth spending

Bought just before the week long heat wave and did its job magnificently. Surprisingly quiet in all the different speeds.

The remote was more comprehensive than I expected and did all of its functions

Can’t find fault, functions as described and seems a good build quality for the price.

We wanted a mid range fan for the lounge that wouldn’t take up too much space and that wasn’t too noisy we couldn’t hear the TV. This ticks both those boxes and more. Definitely worth spending the bit of extra money on this compared with a normal electric standing fan out the supermarke

Perfect for our conservatory when the heat outside is up to 25 I’d say after then it struggled to keeps us cool but thankfully we don’t get to many days hotter than that in the uk. I’d definitely recommend I brought a more expensive one first and it was rubbish this is perfect for our needs

Bought this when we had the heatwave and needed something decent, and this hasn’t disappointed..

If I had to say anything negative it’s that the light can be a bit bright at night when it’s in my bedroom, but given that it keeps me cool I’ll happily put up with it.

Other than that I have no other issues, Definitely recommend it!

A good fan overall and fairly powerful but quite noisy. I have to wear ear plugs at night whilst on and/or turn the TV volume up to hear anything if I have the fan on in the living room. It does however, release soothing cool air despite the noise. The temperature level showing is handy, but the bright blue light at night bothers me. Might be ok for others.

The remote control works well, but the different functions on it don’t really make any difference. The night time setting is just as noisy as all the other functions, intermittently turning the fan speed up/down, on/off…not quite sure as to why.

Essential item in this hot, muggy weather but definitely not the quietest of fans however, definitely recommend for the price.

    Quite noisy but functional

The fan it’s self is great nice and big although slightly noisy but in the hot weather we’ve been having I can make do with a bit of noise. The remote control is great too so you can turn it on, off or adjust the speed without having to get up.
Also the fact it shows the temperature is good and setting a timer helps massively.
    Would definitely buy another one.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis fan is lovely on the main setting- nice and powerful and I found the temperature reading to be really useful. It also has an auto on function which will activate the fan when the room temp hits 25- but as my living room is constantly at 28 during the summer, that would mean it was on all the time, so I haven’t used it. I don’t like the ‘sleep’ and ‘natural wind’ functions which both seem to do the same thing- vary the motor speed, so instead of a constant whir noise you get an oscillating, up and down whirring which I find rather irritating. I suppose there’s not much they can do about the fan noise at different speeds, though. I also haven’t used the ion function because I don’t know what it does- there’s nothing in the instructions or on this page whatsoever about what the ‘ion’ button is for! However, the remote control is very useful, I can adjust it without having to get up.

I’ve marked it down from 5* for 2 reasons: firstly, the ‘ion’ button- I’d like an explanation but there isn’t one. Secondly, the beeping! It makes a very loud beep indeed when you turn it on and change the settings- so if you’re next to a sleeping person you don’t want to wake, or if you have neighbours on all sides like me, you can’t really adjust it past midnight!

There is a bright blue display screen which may cause issues to people who have very dark bedrooms, but I tend to leave the hall light on anyway so it doesn’t make a difference to me.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove this, reasonably quiet (compared to a smaller fan I have that I can’t hear the tv over!). Love the oscillating function and also the various fan settings.

Not as wobbly as I’d thought it might be as I’ve seen some that wobble a lot as they’re moving.

Looks like a floor standing speaker and it arrived two days early, which was appreciated.

Great value, would definitely buy again.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI have a small room in my extension which used to be the kid’s play room and is now my man cave where I have my collectables and computer station. Facing south west it becomes an oven in the sun come afternoon/early evening even with blackout blinds.

This purchase is ideal for my needs. Simple to set up, simple instructions and a remote! The cooling effect is far better than I hoped for. It has the added benefit of having an ION setting and, as I have allergies, this is an additional bonus.

    I am very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersNot bad for a fan in this price range, reasonable noise level, did not interfere with sleep kept it running all night.
Good air flow right from the lowest setting. Display is not a problem for us at night, could do with being able to mute the “Beep” though might have woke my better half up if wanted to adjust it during the night.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI purchased this fan a couple of weeks ago, based on just the one review by Tina… I had been looking at all brands and really unsure which to buy! I put the fan together this week just in time for the mini heatwave, and am so glad I purchased. It is pretty impressive – it cooled us down considerably, and it’s really handy being able to see the room temp. I did find the display very bright at night, and I will be looking at ways I can cover this because I like to sleep in the dark. Otherwise, brilliant purchase and highly recommended!

The fan works well, it’s noiseless and effective. The base wobbles though and the display light disturbs. Not too bright but I like lights off.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersI did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I was attracted to this because it was taller than many fans in this price range, slightly more powerful, that it showed the room temperature and that it was aesthetically pleasing with the lovely blue text. It was very easy to put the base on it and so easy to use. It puts out a lovely breeze. This product didn’t have any reviews, but it looked fantastic and I am so pleased with it!
