I am involved in running Squirrels, the youngest section in Scouting 4 to 6 year olds. These are great for toasting marshmallows on a real fire. It allows the young person to do it at a a safe distance.
These are a brilliant idea, really easy to use and cleverly colour coded so you know which one you used. Need to be treated gently hand wash but clean well, we’ve used them loads and still working fine. Delighted with them.

The telescopic part is very good as it extends a long way. Unfortunately it means they aren’t very good at holding anything heavy

These are very good value for money and come in a nice case that you can use to store them. They are not the easiest thing to clean, I had to soak them for quite a while as the marshmallows I roasted got a bit stuck on it. Not the sturdiest but that is expected because they extend. All together I’m happy with the product, it does the job.

These roasting sticks are the perfect solution. They retract to about 12″ long so you can easily apply the marshmellows to crackers, and extend up to 32″ to keep your fingers and eyebrows un-singed.
You’d think that holding metal in a fire would lead to them heating up, but surprisingly they don’t heat up so much. After being removed from the fire, if you give them just a few seconds the shiny surface radiates away all the heat and you can usually touch or even grip the metal part without getting burnt. That’s a godsend when you’re roasting with kids, because they always forget that the sticks will be hot after being in the fire.
The end of the sticks have two ‘tines’. You can stick one large marshmellow with both tines to ensure it doesn’t drop off into the fire (my method), or you can put one marshmellow onto each tine and roast two at once, for the more greedy among you. The good news is that the ends of the tines are flat, not pointy-stabby, so they’re relatively safe for kids to use. I got stabbed more than once by a careless child when we used them, and it didn’t hurt at all.
Each stick has a different coloured plastic ring around the top of the handle. Like those wine-glass doodads so you can identify your own glass at parties, these are great for being able to put your fork down and run around with the kids, and then recognise which is yours again later.
The telescopic metal fork cleans quite easily in soap and hot water. Each one only takes a few seconds, despite having caked-on burnt sugar all over them. Leave them overnight to dry and then compress them back down to go into the nice black cloth carrybag.
The carrybag is a nice addition, it keeps them all together and even looks quite nice when you take it out to the fireside to hand them out.
These aren’t the sturdiest things due to the plastic nature of their handles. If they were stood on, or sat on, I’d fear that the handle would snap. So don’t let the kids run around and use them for swordfighting!
A really good buy, and made our last bonfire an even bigger success than it would have been 🙂
These are surprisingly sturdy but still worth treating them delicately, perfect for toasting marshmallows around a fire pit. easy to clean but wouldn’t recommend submerging them in water, just wipe off the prongs
Because these extend, it was great for the kids to toast marshmallows over the fire bowl and make s’mores!! They loved it!! Nothing to dislike about these, in fact I’ve bought a second set for my friends daughter!
A great product for burning marshmallows. Easy to use, clean and child friendly.
Easy to extend, a couple of them are a little flimsy. Only gave 3 stars for cleaning as I hate washing up and would be good to put in dishwasher but would think would rust if you did. Much easier to use and safer than the metal skewers we used in past. Have bought an extra set as a present.
Safe to use with a long extendable handle, I like the fact that each fork has a different coloured handle.

I first used these at our school in our Forest School area and thought they were great. They extend so that little arms are safe when toasting marshmallows. I liked them so much I bought a set for home. Ideal for using with fire pits/camp fires 🙂

Pretty sturdy, extend a good distance & seem well made. Different colour markings so everybody can have their own. And nice pouch to keep them in, though I may put them in a harder case just in case they get bent up if anything heavy was to go on top. Good vendor & quick delivery

These are brilliant. Kids loved toasting marshmallows over my hob (too cold for outside) keeps little hands at a safe distance from fire, and they know which is theirs with the colours, so no arguments. Fantastic

Awesome product which has been used many times already. Sturdy, great quality and when extended you can leave the marshmallows in as long as you like without any ‘hand-burn’. Had a few parties where they’ve been taken out at last minute and everyone loved them. Defo recommend for any avid BBQ or fire pit toasting!

Bought these for camping trips to toast marshmallows. Kids loved them. Extend well so kids were well away from the camp fire. Really easy to clean with very hot soapy water and scourer to get marshmallow off. Comes in handy little carry pouch too
Used them to toast marshmallows over an open fire pit – they were great because you can extend them, so we didn’t have to stand too close. They feel quite durable too…hopefully they will last a while
