I get a number of power cuts in my area so a good bright portable emergency rechargeable battery light is necessary for the evenings. This SEEMS to fit the bill very well. I have not yet tested the battery to exhaustion to see how long it lasts but on first examination it seems okay for my needs.
My only caveat is that there is a central COB light surrounded by numerous individual LED lights – but you can’t have them both on together. It is either the individual LED lights OR the central COB light.
This would have made for an ever bright light if both could have been on together.
The “100W LED Portable Work Light” from “Tatuner” is a good-quality work light that’s ideal for those who undertake DIY projects and the like. Personally, I got this light because it’s always handy to have a powerful work light for DIY projects etc.
The light is strong and sturdy and generally well made. It does require a small amount of assembly when it arrives. You also need to charge it up, which is done via a USB lead (included).
Once set up and fully charged, you’ll find the work light is incredibly powerful, providing a huge amount of bright light that really does illuminate the area around it.
The light has five different brightness levels as well as a “emergency vehicle” style flashing blue and red light mode. These 6 settings are accessed via the one “Mode” button located on the underside of the light.
The light takes 8 hours to fully charge (a recommended 13 hours for the first charge). Depending on the brightness level selected, a full charge will provide a varying length of time for use — although even at its full brightness the light will provide a good few hours’ of illumination.
The only aspect of the product I wasn’t overly happy with was the USB power lead that comes with the light. The lead is unfortunately incredibly short, which is a pain.
Other than that, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the work light. Since getting the light I’ve used it in the attic when I was sorting out new insulation and boarding up there, as well as working on my car in the evening. Both times I’ve found the light has been an absolute godsend, delivering such great illumination where I need it.

This is a good quality well made work light, love that is rechargeable and perfect for places that don’t have a power supply. I often go into peoples loft with no light this provides exactly what I need. Sturdy and solid. Would recommend. Is bright and charges well.

This is a solid, super tough work lamp, which has obviously been designed with durability in the workshop in mind. This is not a massive lamp so it will store neatly in the back of a car, but it certainly is powerful with many available lighting options. The work light is supplied in 2 parts, the lamp and stand, these are assembled using a single large screw in clamp. If you wish to wall mount this, just leave the floor stand off and fix this to a wall using the built in swivel bracket.
I’m very please with the build quality of this. The lamp frame and wall stand are made from heavy gauge metal tubing that has been powder coated in a bright yellow colour. The floor stand has sturdy rubber feet which help keep it firmly in one place and prevents any undue shocks to the LED panels if the lamp is accidentally knocked. On top of the lamp is a fold down carry handle, again made from the same heavy gauge metal tubing, this has a soft hand grip in the centre. The lamp itself is made from vented alloy which allows air circulation to help keep the LED panels cool.
The lamp houses a 12000 mAh lithium-ion battery, so this is truly portable, ideal for taking on a breakdown or whilst working outside. Due to the large capacity, this will take between 8-10 hours to fully charge from a depleted battery, but this should provide many hours of use depending on which light settings are chosen. There are 5 different light intensities to choose from, obviously the lowest setting will provide the longest battery life. Along with the 5 intensity settings, there is also an SOS mode which flashes red and blue, ideal for roadside breakdown at night to warn other motorists, or perhaps to alert others to an emergency.
I’m very pleased with this work lamp as it is super bright and built like a tank. The built in battery means I can use this virtually anywhere I please, plus this is rated IP65 waterproof, allowing this to be used outside in a raining wet environment.
This is a strong well built lamp with many lighting options – Highly Recommended!

100W LED Work Light Rechargeable
I would not say that this is the brightest work light I’ve used as I find my garden floodlight and SAD lamp much brighter than this.
However, it works as it claims.
It is straightforward to assemble. The stand is made from lightweight metal with plastic corners, keeping the light sturdy. The LED light has 3 brightness, 2 brightness levels low and high COB, and SOS mode (6 modes in total).
I am currently working to insulate my loft and from time to time I use this to check the job. It is suitable for small space jobs, but I doubt it will be fine for bigger spaces.
It offers excellent battery life as it comes with 6 18650mah rechargeable batteries and a 1-yr warranty. So for its price, I could say that it is worth buying.
This work light is powered by a lithium battery and it is recommended to be charged for a full 13 hours before first use, then the full charge time is 8 hours. However, it lasts a good time between charges. There are various light levels and modes of use selected simply by repeated pressing of the on-off switch. The instructions provided give good information on these modes. At full power the light gives a full 100W beam that provides a good spread and depth. It is useful for working in dark environments such as enclosed spaces or where there is no available mains power for wired lighting. It is also designed for outdoor use such as in a car accident or breakdown situation. It can of course also be used when camping or for other outdoor activities after dark.
Slightly expensive but if the battery life and brightness are sustained in use over time it would be worth it in difficult working or emergency situations. It is recommended to recharge the battery at least every month.
