I brought this camera so I could see my horse in his stable, battery lasts a long time if you turn off most of the apps and not recording 24/7 if you only want to want to take a look for a while on your phone and take a picture or video then this camera is grea
Best thing I’ve ever bought. I ordered a lebara SIM (1.99 for the first 6 months) and it works perfect, plug in and go. I just wish the battery lasted longer or they sold spares,
which they told me they don’t. I don’t have solar option as I’m within a barn so have to charge battery at home. I maybe get 7-10 days on a charge depending on use. Otherwise a sound investment for peace of mind
Very happy with the camera. Set up is straight forward and the quality is great day and night.
Easy to put together and mount on wall. Clear pictures and no messy cables or WiFi needed
Beats ring cameras by a million miles, sure it is a little more pricey but the difference is it actually works reliably. Because of the mobile network connection and sd card even if the mobile network or power goes out the cameras still work. Can’t really ask for more.
I use this as a stable camera, brilliant night vision, covers the majority of a 12 x 10 box. Love the quality and battery life as opted for without the solar panel due to positioning, has been up for almost a week and on just over 70% battery.
This camera is excellent. Night Vision is great. Battery life isn’t too long, but I’m going to get a solar panel and then it will be perfect. I’ve turned off the motion detection because my horse moves around his stable quite a lot!!
Good camera, although my solar panel doesn’t appear to be working. So I will test it for a few more days to check.
Bought this to keep an eye on my horse while he is in his stable. Great picture both during the day and at night. Easy set up (bought a Vodafone data only sim).
Highly recommend this camera.
Purchased for my horses stable Absolutely amazing views on this camera at every angle Night vision is great to Peace of mind all round
Finora esperienza assolutamente positiva e consigliata.
– Visualizzazione Live (fino a 12 utenti contemporaneamente)
The camera is excellent but i read it should last 2 months on one charge with moderate use. Mines only lasting about a month using 3 to 4 percent of the battery a day. But at least you can recharge it using a power bank as its inside a garage.
A recommended purchase. Does exactly what it advertises it will do. Very pleased. Easy to mount or install.
Bought this to keep an eye on my mares while foaling. Have left it on low pic quality to conserve battery but even on night vision I can see what’s going on and zoom in and put on high quality all from my phone. Will buy a couple more to have in all the boxes.

Purchased camera and solar panel for observing Pine Marten some 170 mile away. Initially had some problems with charging but after very patient help from a professional team all was resolved. The camera is currently under test at 58 deg.north mid December and it is charging!
Would recommend camera and solar panel to anyone. If required you can validate my comments through Amazon.
I bought a Reolink Go for my garage. It’s separate from my house with no mains power, and no wifi coverage.
The Go does the job perfectly. It arrived with no sim. I had heard that a Vodafone sim was included, but not with mine. No problem though, I get better coverage with EE in my area, so I bought a cheap PAYG sim and slotted it in. Added an SD card, charged the battery and fixed it to the rafters in my garage.
It works perfectly. As soon as the garage door is opened, the app alerts me. It also sounds a siren – it’s not particularly loud, but could well be enough to frighten away intruders in the middle of a quiet night.
It has around 2-3 bars of 4g signal when in place. Live playback in this dark garage is smooth and crisp, especially in 1080 mode. You can switch it down to a lower quality to improve speed and reduce data usage. You could identify people’s faces in 1080 in night mode, possibly not in low quality mode.
I’ve set the app alerts in my iPhone’s Focus Sleep mode to override Silent setting and alert me at any time. This means that within 60 seconds of the camera sensing my door opening, I can be at my garage with a cricket bat 🙂
I got this on a Black Friday sale and for the price I paid, I’m really pleased. Ideal if you have an outbuilding with no power or wifi. Just check your 4g will be fast enough. Recommended.

I use this for my horse stable and found it so hard to find a camera as I don’t have WiFi or electricity at my yard but then luckily found this camera ! The quality is amazing and the battery lasts a long time I did also purchase a spare battery so I can just keep changing then
Would highly recommend
Bought this to keep an eye on my horse in his stable. I check it most often at night when he is in absolute pitch black darkness and the night vision is so clear it actually looks like there is a light shining on the stable. Battery life is weeks or months depending how often you check it (the more you watch, the more the battery runs down) but you can buy spares so you can always have one ready. Build quality is robust and waterproof (and there is an additional cover). Have recommended this to many other horse owners, several of them who have now purchased the same and are equally happy.

It turns out that in order to get email notifications that is done through Google Play wich is not supported on my Huawei smart phone so was of no use to me. Also I personally found that in order to set up for my Laptop too confusing. Shame because I really liked the idea.. unfortunately this is where big companies like Google & USA can influence & affect the rest of us with their personal policies.
You need a DC 5V 2A plug adapter (not included) to plug the USB mini cable into to charge the battery. But, the plug charger you use to charge a mobile phone will do. I am not sure if using a DC 5V 3A will make any difference. It has to be DC 5V anyway.
The SIM has to be a Micro SIM. The Micro SIM from a mobile phone can be used. If you have only a Nano SIM then you can use a 3 in 1 SIM Adapter to make it into a Micro SIM. You can insert an SD card to record video.
All the controls are in the Reolink App. You can switch on or off the motion detection and the night vision (infra red). The camera records only when motion is detected, if the setting is on. But, when viewing live, you can record and save short videos or photos. When viewing live, you can zoom in as you would with any photo image. You can change settings for picture quality etc. You can see the battery charge percentage. The battery will receive most use when there is motion detection or the picture quality is set at a high level or when you are viewing live.

I have cctv at various points around my house but needed some cover of the drive and a store shed. It was too far away for WiFi and it was in a place that had no power so the Reo link Go was the perfect soloution.
I have been very happy with it for two years when a fault developed in the PIR sensor. The customer service department were second to none and resolved the problem even after the time since purchase. Just a couple of emails back and forth to determine what I had done and what I could try and then less than a week later the sorted it for me. The camera now is back to working perfectly. 10/10 ReoLink.

A very good product.
Daytime picture quality is really good and night vision is clear enough to make out a person’s face if you zoom in. Range is much farther and wider than I thought it would be and you can alter the sensitivity so it doesn’t pick up every passing car on the road.
Easy to set up and install and came with a Vodafone sim card, which was perfect as this is the best network coverage in our location.
The only issue for me is that it does seem to need a very good, strong 4G signal. This is usually not a problem, but given that it is sold as being suitable for remote locations, if you want to check in with it, or view footage following an alert, bear in mind that it is only as good as the 4G signal in that area. I have found that sometimes it won’t connect to my phone, despite having just sent an alert. This can be a little frustrating, but it does save the images to the SD card so you can view them later.

This camera is very good value for money, does exactly what it says in the product description. Perfect for keeping an eye on unwanted guests to your property.
You can easily watch from the camera 24 hours a day, with a sleep function in case you leave it on view accidentally.
Playback is good and picture qualify is very clear.
I did have an issue with the infra red lights not working (I’d owned the camera for approx. 3 years) but the team at Reolink were outstanding and solved the problem instantly
I am very pleased with my purchase, easy to set up and install. However I cannot comment on the motion detection as this is on my stable yard and would be continuously going off so I have switched this off. I just needed it to check on my rescued ponies throughout the night and its brilliant.
There is only one problem I have with the camera. It was minus 2 the other morning and due to the frost the camera didn’t work (please see photo).
Works brilliantly for keeping an eye on my barn and stables.
It does take a few seconds to connect (expected with a 4g connection), but gives a clear picture and good playback of recordings.
The motion detection works well, although it takes a bit of trial and error to get it right so that it is sensitive enough to detect what you want without being triggered by every little movent. Having said that, it can be over keen in bad weather.
The battery life is very good. Got it with the solar panel and in the summer it lasted about four months before having to be recharged. In the middle of winter, up here in Northern England, I get about a month to six weeks or of it before recharging via the mains.
The speaker works well, and you can have a conversation with someone over it but there is a second or so delay, so it’s a bit disjointed. But that’s not really the purpose of it.
The app is simple and it was easy to set up. Also good that you don’t need any subscription for the reolink service unlike other similar cameras my friends have from other manufacturers (bear in mind that the included Vodafone v-sim for the camera is 4/month but easy to set up with the Vodafone app), I also have a couple of Reolink WiFi cameras at my house and can quickly switch between the displays or view all the cameras live at the same time on the app.
You will need a micro SD card for it, to record the motion alerts. It doesn’t record continuously, just when it detects motion, then you browse these recordings via the app and download them to your phone. I just got one from here at the same time, 32gb seems to hold days of recordings and was about 7.

The picture quality of these are great, the field of view is much bigger than that of the arlo go and better quality.
The Reolink is simpler to setup than the arlo and is a better quality camera in my opinion, however the Reolink app is not as good, also no cloud service so you are relying on accessing the sd card on the camera, which means that if your camera is stolen or runs out of battery, you lose all the footage etc
Battery life is similar to arlo despite having twice the capacity.
The included camo cover makes the cameras almost unnoticeable (as you can see in the picture of one in a tree)
I’ve had a few of these, and one went faulty but Reolink sent a replacement straight away so cannot really complain about that.
Only thing missing is a cloud service and a better app, but at the price I don’t think you can go wrong
I got this camera to keep tabs on who visits when we’re out, after a long drawn out dispute with a courier firm over a misplaced parcel. It’s also useful to keep an eye on night visitors, so far badgers and cats.
You can have push notifications and email alerts, although picture alerts in emails seem to use a fair bit of data.
pro’s :- Nice picture, good detection and long battery life, even better with solar panel which seems to work even out of direct sunlight. Support team are excellent.
Do not have to have it connected to a router so can place anywhere with a good phone signal.
Cons :- Can be a tad difficult to set up if you’re thick as a brick like me, however, the support team put me right.
Instructions are a bit vague and not particularly in depth.
I got mine in a discount offer with roughly 70 off, so with Black Friday coming up it’s well worth a punt if you’re thinking about getting one.
I used this indoors at a property without wifi to provide remotely accessible security images. I set the camera so that it, including the PIR sensor, was just aimed at the entry point and avoided other areas of frequent activity to limit the activations. I turned off the notifications and just make periodic checks of the live feed and the very helpful timeline of the PIR-triggered activations. The included Vodafone sim card had a fixed monthly cost based on “reasonable use” which was unspecified and to be determined by them. I did not want any extra costs so replaced it with a Giffgaff pay-as-you-go card with a good data allowance so that I knew what I was getting. I fitted a 64GB V30 Micro SD Card (SDXC) A1 UHS-1 U3 and take it out and transfer all of the files to a laptop every few weeks. I only use the lower res images remotely but they are fine for my needs and I know that the full res images are on the sd card, if needed. I have been disappointed with the optical resolution on cheap dashcams and webcams in the past so paid more for the quality of this unit. Money well spent. I use it with the solar panel charger so it was pretty-much fit and forget.

I really like this camera and prefer it to others I have used. The main use for this is to watch over animals so it has sustained rain stoms, wind etc with no issues. My old criticism would be that it used so much data! I put 10 on a PAYG sim and it was all used within 3 days and I wouldn’t say my use was excessive. That being said I will just watch it a little less
Very good camera. It works with a Vodafone SIM Card that comes with it [4 a month per camera], there is no need to have it connected to the Wifi. Easy to install and navigate. The customer service is quite helpful when trying to install the programme on laptops – we are very happy with this purchase and recommend it.
Purchased this camera after buying another cheaper model on Amazon, that one didn’t power up so it was returned and I ordered this one.
It comes with everything you need to fit it, although you will need to buy a micro memory card. easy setup just download the app, fit the sim card and from the app, scan the QR code on the camera, and you’re up and running.
After the messing around with the cheaper camera I kept this one in the house for a few days and it worked flawlessly.
Fitted the camera in its position, I chose to site it near a power outlet to make charging easier, but from what I’ve seen the better lasts at least 2 weeks (I’ll update this when I’ve used it a little longer).
The camera worked for around 2 days and then I couldn’t connect to it with the app, tried everything, restarting the app, restarting the phone etc but nothing worked, as there was no way to reset the camera as there was no communication via the app I had no alternative but to go to the camera and reset it by removing and refitting the battery. this seemed to work for a while then it happened a few more times. Very frustrating as there is no way to reset the camera via the app when there is no connection. (after a little research and fault diagnosis, it seemed the mobile connection wasn’t good enough (On 03 via a Smarty sim card)
I then activated the Vodaphone V sim card which was included with the camera and tried again. Since fitting the supplied sim card I have had absolutely no problems with the connection, even though the vodaphone signal wasn’t that much better than the 03 signal.
The camera can send push notifications via the app and/or an email when it detects motion although I found I was getting notifications from google (my email provider) that an insecure app was trying to access my account so had to use an app password to allow it to use my google account to send the emails to me.
So far I have been very impressed with the camera, the picture quality is good and the night vision is good also. Build quality is excellent and it works.
The Reolink Go is a very useful piece of kit for monitoring sites with no electricity supply or WiFi network, with power provided by a small solar panel.
Both live video and recorded clips can be accessed easily via a smartphone app, with low-res/low-bandwidth and high-definition streams. Infrared lights provide great pictures at night and we’ve also found the sound facility very useful.
On the odd occasion when we’ve needed technical support, the Reolink team has been very helpful and responsive. They even freely replaced the camera mounting bracket when a vandal broke it.
Ordered this due to a break-in, and also because another reviewer posted photos of the crime-in-progress that this camera was able to stop and the police apprehend the thief despite the owner being abroad at the time.
Initial frustration with the V-Sim (it was clearly out of date so Vodafone would not recognise it) thoroughly undermined the setup experience, which is unfortunate given how easy and clever setting up the camera itself is and tethering it to the phone. Instead of a V-Sim (what a waste of time — Vodafone doesn’t even sell these in their stores; I actually bothered to visit a branch in Covid-infested Britain to try to solve the issue), I bought an 02 pay-as-you-go SIM (any will do it seems) and that has been working brilliantly.
Battery life seems pretty good. I think it started at about 60% out of the box and was installed last Sunday. I’ve been monitoring it a lot more than I imagine I would in a month’s time when the novelty has worn off, but the battery at the end of play on Wednesday (so 3 solid days) is 35%. You can of course just plug it in, but I’ve had to position it outside, because…. [Update late Dec 2020, 4 months after puchase: battery life is nothing short of superb. It lasts and lasts (then informs me it’s dying, and I ignore the message), and continues to function. Brilliant.]
Things to be aware of —- 1) this camera DOES NOT ALLOW PIR MASKING. Other non-battery operated Relink cameras do, but their battery-run ones for some reason do not allow you to tell the camera to ignore areas in its field of view. (It will however do privacy masking, ie blurring parts of the screen.) 2) This is a general issue that I didn’t know about: PIR motion detection doesn’t or sometimes doesn’t (in my situation’s case completely failed to) work behind glass. Also, night vision which is very good on this camera only picked up the droplets on the window when working behind glass.
So a couple of things to be aware of, but given this camera can be used almost everywhere and anywhere and is totally self-contained (and the security specialist who visited us suggested a 1,000 solution which would do exactly the same thing), I think this is a brilliant buy.

Great for use at an entrance gate that is out of wifi range and easy power connection. Use solar panel. The notification to phone triggers when someone at gate so like a door bell. Picture quality in high mode is really good. App is easy to use. We use Vodafone v sim at 4 a month. So a cheapish solution to an otherwise costly rewire / revamp of electrics a long way from house.
Main downside is talking / holding a conversation is all but impossible thru it. Too much lag. There are lamps at our gates that help the night vision but think it’s good. Have bought other reolink products after this as was quite impressed.
This 4G camera is excellent, the iOS app works seamlessly and it does everything expected. I bought it to monitor my boat on a remote mooring at it does that job very well.
Came with a Vodafone iot SIM card, but we don’t have a 100% service here from Vodafone, so after test driving the Reolink Go at home for 4 days I got a normal data sim from EE.
The EE SIM card is on Pay as You Go and I’ve bought 200mb which seems more than enough to check the camera twice a day.
The only missing service is backup of videos to the Cloud, Reolink indicate that they have issues with Guptan in Europe and Uk, hopefully that will be sorted soon !
Easy to install. Alerts directly to your phone. We have two phones connected and that’s easy to set up.
Solar Panel keeps the battery between 95% and 100% even in dull weather. The picture is clear enough to be able to ID even at night. The sound quality is great you can hear what people are saying so that in itself is good to have.
Records immediately when someone sets it off. We had to turn off small animals as birds and bats were setting it off the first night but was soon able to adjust the level of sensitivity.
I had no Wi Fi at the premises but have set up a sim card with a monthly payment. Which works well.
I would highly recommend this camera. Well done Reolink.
Overall good camera, impressed.
Liked: big battery. Excellent resolution on high setting. Full bars 4G even when it’s inside a locked garage. Quick sync from app open to view. Was annoying it had no signal strength meter but app updated a week later and it did.
Disliked: multi instruction sheets that contradict each other for 1st activation. One sheet says put sim in camera turn on and register. The other says don’t put in camera as will deactivate SIM! Register it 1st then put in camera is the answer. Camera shell felt a bit cheap plastic.
Overall it did what I wanted which was remote garage monitoring. I would buy another.
Bought this with the solar panel. Easy to install, good quality picture day and night. The mobile phone signal isn’t great in my yard as we are remote, but I can connect to the camera 9.5 times out of 10 with only the occasional Vodafone issue in the early hours. Even then if I try 20mins later it connects. The solar panel charged the battery completely after 2 days and has kept it at 100%. Really pleased after purchasing other products that don’t work with the poor phone reception I have.
I’d always wanted to get some sort of camera where we keep our old horses as it was concerning leaving them in a field with stables without power. I saw the Reolink Go 4G and thought that would be perfect as we could pay 5/month to Vodafone and could have remote viewing CCTV so we can check on the horses anywhere and any time. But without power, we were stuck. However, Reolink also produces an awesome (and very low cost) solar panel to plug straight into the camera, so I thought this could solve everything.
I was a little uncertain as things never normally work like they should for one reason or another, but I thought I would give it a go. Great news is that it works perfectly, it is incredibly easy to install and the only running cost is 5/month for Vodafone. The solar panel works excellently, I just screwed it onto the stable wall, screwed on the camera, plugged them together and it works PERFECTLY. No power, but CCTV viewing from anywhere in the world! Aboslountley perfect. You can also go on the app and check the solar power/battery levels and mine has been up at 100% for most of the last few months. This absolutely excellent quality product works exactly like it is supposed to and well worth it as it means we can be sure the horses are safe whenever we want to check.
If you are thinking about getting one, then I would say GO FOR IT!

Good quality product but could do with more comprehensive setting up instructions
although Reolink do provide excellent Customer Service by email. Does everything
it should once you figure out how it works. Having said that I bought two of them and the next one will be a doddle. At the moment
Cloud storage isn’t available in the UK but
it is coming and users will be notified by email when it does . In the meantime an SD
card is a good option. I purchased Reolink
solar panels to power up the batteries which even on the dullest of days has no difficulty
maintaining 100% . The alternative is to climb a ladder every 30 days or less and plug in a charger.
All in all a good buy and at 4 quid a month
for a V – Sim 4G by Vodafone provides security 24/7 with anywhere remote access
just to see what’s going on. It will also work in a host of other countries so presumably you can take it on holiday.
Excellent!! Wow these cameras really are fantastic! Easy to set up, magnificent picture quality and great sound pick up. Having the two way voice is really useful. Have fitted a V sim for data and a sd card to record on. The optional extra solar panel keeps the battery charged making it great for areas without electricity. The app works well with useful features for recording onto your phone. We have 3 of these on our barn and field, the coverage is wide and far. Having the ability to set the recording range is good along with the notifications. All in all these are the best cameras we have bought, we have recommended them to others who have been impressed by them too. 5 stars all the way!!
I am using this camera as a way of keeping an eye on my livestock in the field when I am away from home . Sometimes if the signal is poor the camera fails to connect to me phone but most of the time it works well and I have connected from different parts of the country It has a wide viewing area and I can see most of the field and it is mounted high up I have it connected to a solar panel which seems to work well with no loss of power . I have used it to speak to a person at the site remotely and that works well It was fairly easy to set up and install with the help of the instructions provided . I would recommend this camera and I have had it installed and working well for about a year . Would definitely recommend .
I am absolutely amazed at this camera. Its fantastic. Do not hesitate to get one. It works off Vodafone sim included so well. I did worry of there would be enough signal but straight away it worked. I watched a review on you tube which explain how to set it up. Basically I set up the ap for the sim card from Vodafone. Then once I had set it up for the data plan of 4 a month I then set up the ap for the camara. I used the QR and set up the camara with user name password etc. Popped the sim card in and the memory card I bought separate. Topped up the battery which took 4 to 5 hours. Then set it up where I needed it. Easy as pie!!! Really recommend this camara. It’s brilliant. I also bought a spare battery which I charge while the other one is in the camara. I would definitely would get another. 5 stars
These are excellent units. Well made and function as described. Very Easy setup. Solar panel seems to keep battery fully charged even in recent winter “sun”.(personally I think panels are essential) I use as GSM backup to fixed CCTV system on a steel container storage site I run…. so have two systems in parallel…..well worth a bit of extra expense for added peace of mind . V sims working really well and minor expense at 4 per month each (obviously check which network suits your site). Control by software app is absolutely superb! Wish other stuff I had was this quality. Got 3 units but likely to buy more once I see them running reliably for a few months..which looks very likely. Not cheap but darned good!… you do tend to get what you pay for:)!
Just fitted into my motorhome that is in a storage facility. Used giffgaff pay as you go sim. Easy to set up and now have 24hr internal viewing of my motorhome. A bit ott some might say but now I know all is safe. Movement detector works great and sends me an e mail with screen notification to my mobile when movement detected. You can record a personal message that is played in the motorhome when movement detected. Fitted two days ago and still have 92% battery showing so should last a few weeks at least before recharge required. Picture quality in HD so very clear.
If there is no WiFi available then this is the camera to have. Although the initial price is expensive it is cheap to run on 4G. It’s easy to set up. Night vision is decent and motion detection can be set to your preference. Don’t use this if you have pigeons perched. It will set the motion detection off all the time, which can get annoying. Battery life is good. Mine lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks. However if you have broadband and WiFi, my advise would be to buy the normal security cameras.
Absolutely brilliant.. this does what all other systems I’ve tried before failed at. I can see who’s at my gate from literally anywhere that I can get mobile reception on my phone through the app. Can be live viewed and download recordings of events that have taken place (easily accessed on a calendar in time order). The rechargeable battery lasts well on the settings i use (which are fairly demanding) but I added the solar panel to it and it charges really well, so you don’t have to worry about charging it. I definitely recommend this product especially in combination with the solar panel. Found the setup really easy and straightforward.
Great for security for secluded areas. Good picture and audio .Pity it cannot zoom or swivel but this will probably come in the future, 24 hour viewing will also something for the future when battery power improves. Delay of notification of a couple of minutes is a bit annoying if you are trying to catch someone but overall a good product and far better than trial cams . Would recommend .
I only found out about this camera by fluke last week and, after doing some research on it, decided to purchase two Gos along with two Reolink Solar Panels, two micro sim cards and two Vodafone V-Sims on a rolling 4 monthly data plan. I currently own a few Y-Cam Protect HD Indoors and Outdoors Cams and have also used some Logitech jobbies in the past so have some experience with security cameras, but only on a non-professional, domesticated level.
I needed security for a location that didn’t have either electricity or any internet, but that I knew had decent 4G mobile coverage. I was pretty sceptical that these cameras would work and I was also preparing myself for them being a royal pain in the crack to setup. I was wrong on both counts.
The setup process was unbelievably easy, quick, and glitch-free. I had both Vodafone sims setup with the respective ‘V by Vodafone’ iOS app, and both cameras setup with the Reolink app in less than 10 minutes. Even a complete technophobe shouldn’t have a problem here. You basically use your phone/tablet’s camera to scan the QR code on the top of the Reolink Go Camera casing and you’re good to go. Full marks for this Reolink!
I won’t dissect the technical spec too much but navigating the app is also both intuitive and logical and the cameras connect quickly every time. Performance is great for both Day and Night, there’s minimal lag/delay (which my Y-Cams suffer terribly with, even over LAN) the motion sensing works flawlessly (we caught a couple of foxes on cam the first night!), notifications work and are easy to setup, there’s two way communication with the inbuilt speaker & mic and the feature list is more than adequate for most people’s needs. Everything is basically ready to roll with the default settings but the options are there for twiddling.
Once the cameras are installed and fixed in place, it’s also extremely easy to access them on different platforms too. There is a Reolink App for both Windows and Mac and adding your cameras to the software is also easy. NOTE: If you’re worried that you need to rescan the QR code on top of the camera once it’s been installed in a hard to reach place…have no fear. On the mobile app, in the settings(cog) section for each specific camera, there is a ‘Share’ option and this has the QR image saved if you need to rescan it to setup the app on other devices. Above the QR code is also the camera’s UID and you will need this when adding the cameras to the PC/Mac version of the software along with the password you created when initially setting up the camera.
Overall, I’m utterly impressed with such a well conceived product that works straight out of the box and is a delight to use. The only thing currently lacking is support for cloud storage in the UK, but this should be available soon with a FREE storage plan, as well as other premium, paid storage options.

Well done Reolink!
Great product! Amazing quality images. Using it to monitor visitors to our property. After fine tuning it, it’s really performing beyond expectations. There is enough ambient light at night to have a great image without using the built in LED’s. Working with the Reolink solar panel well. VODAFONE V SIM setup. Had issues initially because when I set up the SIM, when it asked me to scan the QR code, I (wrongly) assumed it meant the Reolink CCTV QR code…. Kept getting a device not recognised message. The vodaphone app wanted me to scan the SIM QR code not the Camera QR code. Would have been useful to have that as a tip to speed up installation. Installation was easy after that! Over a 24 hour period I have fine tuned the sensitivity settings and now it’s working perfectly. GREAT PRODUCT – Highly recommended!
This a really great solution for off-grid CCTV.
Installation and set up is a breeze – i am particularly impressed with the included app and mac desktop app too. It makes surveillance and playback a doddle and adjusting the settings super easy too.
Email set-up is a little tricky with hotmail as it tends to block the IP at first, but after you approve it you are away.
I will get more of these in time as the solar solution is just so handy and it makes me far more comfortable having eyes on a very remote spot indeed.
Cracking product, next incarnation, we need stronger ability at night!!
Bought a couple of these now to use in a large garden with no wifi. Running both with Vodafone V sims with no issues. For anyone thinking of doing the same, and unsure if the V sim works on this camera – they do work. To set it up, you have to download the V by Vodafone app, scan the QR code on the sim, and then when adding ‘devices’ chose the ‘other’ option, followed by ‘cameras’ option.
Once that’s done, put it into the Reolink Go and providing there is a strong 3/4G signal the camera will find the network. It took a bit of trial and error on my first camera – it couldn’t connect to the network on first few attempts, but I don’t have vodafone on other devices so didn’t know the coverage, and after finding the right place in garden to get best signal it worked fine.
I have two cameras installed now, both are controllable over the same Reolink app – it can connect up to 5 – which is a really useful. The app gives you full control over the camera settings (PIR sensitivity, colour / b&w nightvision, screen resolution, view /download footage) you can remotely download video (from where it’s stored; on the SD card in camera) straight to your phone / computer, and set it to give you an email and push app notification every time camera is triggered, so even if the app is not aopen, you will get a notification.
If you need a 3G/4G system I can highly reccomend this. I looked at the arlo system, but with this having a better battery life, colour nightvision, costing less and able to use any (suitable) network sim if the vodafone coverage wasn’t up to it, it seemed like the best choice to me.

Initially rated as 1 star, but now revised to 4 stars (see thread below).
Purchased my first Reolink Go elsewhere in November and have been delighted with it. Easy to set up using vodaphone V sim, and working very well; this experience would have deserved 5 stars. However, having bought 2 more, this time from Amazon, I have so far found it impossible to connect them to the network using either the vodaphone’s V sim, or an EE data sim. Really disappointed, and frustrated at the amount of time wasted in communicating to vodaphone and reolink support centres. Will probably have to return them for a refund.
