This chest freezer is excellent value for the price, we found it light enough to move into position but sturdy enough not to rock or wobble as some freezers do!, the lid is nice and solid and heavy enough to form a nice airtight seal, the lid also stays in the position you put it, so no more struggling with your arms full of stuff to put in it, it looks great too, we would highly recommend this chest freezer, you won’t be disappointed, we also like the idea of a drainage plug on the front, making it easier for us short people to defrost it when needed!

This little freezer was more compact than we imagined, having bought it over a smaller 99L freezer – we were worried about how much space it would need but its really neat! SUPER light and easy to move when empty – honestly, one person can move it with minimal effort. Sits neatly in the garage and has a nice capacity as an additional freezer for a larger family.
Arrived promptly and easy to manoevre into position in our garage. Could have done with a light inside it. Can just about reach the bottom (I am 5’2″) ! The one thing I find annoying is that I can’t get baskets to fit the thing to save me having to empty it out to get to the bottom to reach products, as Russell Hobbs were out of stock of these baskets and anyway they cost 10% of the total cost of the price of the freezer to buy them !! Can’t comment on energy used as haven’t received a bill yet to compare what I usually pay. Was a bit smaller than I expected but some room was taken out by the shelf which obviously houses the motor which should be factored into your content vision and this also makes it difficult to get baskets to fit beside the motor compartment ! The hinged lid is good as it stops it dropping on your head when bending inside. Only time will tell if it was a good buy as only had it a few weeks ! In these high cost of living times, it made senses to have the extra space to save on multiple buys from a famous freezer shop !

Only had a for a couple of weeks but very pleased so far.
There is not much to tell about it as it is much as customers might expect, a big white box (see product dimensions) with a silver metal interior. It has a small suspended shelf which, to be honest, is rather too small to be useful for much and there is an internal ‘shelf’ which actually just covers the workings of the freezer as is the case with most if not all freezers.
I chose it as the advert promised me it would be delivered to the room of my choice. In reality the guy left it on the doorstep, waited in his van and drove off. That meant a disabled person had to go through a lot of pain to get it indoors and wait the rest of the day for help to move it the right room so, don’t buy it for that reason.
The lid opens nice and wide and doesn’t feel like it is going to drop on me whilst using it and empty, it’s really not so heavy I suppose because there isn’t much to a freezer! Heavy enough to hurt me but not heavy.

Not much to say really. It keeps food frozen. I’ve will build up along the edges, so I expect to have to defrost every 6-12 months.
The extra size is great, the smaller chest freezers are pointless.
Quite pleased with this freezer so far. Its quite small for a chest freezer but very light and easy to move. The 2 good features are
1. its suitable for a garage.
2. it has an external temperature warning light.

This is a nice freezer, perfect for what I need. My only gripe is the basket that comes with it. It’s kind of a waste of space. You can’t get much in it, and it takes up quite a bit of room, so I’ve took it out altogether. Much better.
Overall, I would recommend this freezer.

Although it’s early days to give a review of this freezer, so far I am very happy with the product. It is spacious and virtually silent in operation. When it was delivered it was fairly light and easy to manoeuvre into position. I have high hopes that it will live up to the usual Russell Hobbs reputation for electrical goods.

Not my first choice of freezer. It is a great size. Much more storage than a 60 cm wide model, it does not have en interior light. Easy to use and I am impressed by the amount of storage.

Prior to this purchase, I had a chest freezer from AO that was not capable of reaching suitable freezing temperatures – it only managed -10 on full blast. This ended up spoiling a lot of produce. However, this freezer does the job that its creators intended. No problems at max capacity – holds a good temperature range of -18 to -21, and that is the readings from the thermometers placed at the top of the freezer.

Because of the limited indoor space, the freezer ended up in shed outdoor. According to the info provided it should be ok as long as the direct heat will be avoided. Noise wise – absolutely Zero noise. Happy with the product so far.

Very good value for money. The inside is very spacious and the freezer is very quiet. The only negative is the space in the basket, food can easily fall through. I had to line the inside of the basket to stop small items from falling through.
Delivery was great, they delivered it and placed it in the kitchen, which was nice of them and they explained the installation steps to us and were helpful. The delivery company however delivered to my area on certain days only

i can feel alot of food my food last up to 1 or 2 months but its really really goodto have in a bedroom, kitchen or my example front room.
The down side was the expectation that I could accept a signed for delivery with 24 hours notice – when ordered on a Tuesday it said delivery the following Tuesday – no problem, however received a phone call on the Thursday expecting me to take delivery the next day! Communication with delivery people could have been better as there was a mix up of messages and information give
We were both disappointed however, when the supplier failed to answer a simple question regarding the provision of an additional internal basket needed because my Mum is 87 years old now and she was hoping that an additional internal basket, (which she would have been happy to pay for), would make it easier for her to use the product.
The only gripe I did have about the freezer was the large sticker that Russell Hobbs stuck on top telling you about the customer care and to leave it for 3 hours before use. Gripe 1 the time on the sticker is wrong and gripe 2 is that the sticker was a real pain in the backside to remove. What ever glue they used needed thinners to properly get off.
