Got them for 99 with 2 yr warranty (amazing value for money). These earphones are S-Tier whether you got a Samsung phone or not. They snuggly fit into the ear and upon doing so the noise cancellation kicks in which is blowing. The build quality is compact and relatively light. How easy was it to setup?? I opened the case, turned on my phone Bluetooth then searched for the earphones and that was the end (seriously, it was that easy).
As I’ve not used them for extensive periods of time I can’t comment on the battery life but, I will update this if there is anything worrying (I mean if they can be used 8+ hrs then they are golden in my book).
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and I’m thrilled with the experience.
Whether I’m listening to music or taking calls, the sound quality is exceptional.
The active noise cancellation (ANC) works well, blocking out ambient noise during my commute and workouts. It’s not Bose-level, but it’s impressive for earbuds of this size.
These earbuds practically disappear in my ears. I can wear them for hours without discomfort. Plus, the graphite color looks sleek and modern.
As a Samsung phone user, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro sync seamlessly with my device. No lag, no hassle, just perfect synchronicity. Have had no issues with them for the past couple of months so I highly recommend them.
Bought from amazon warehouse. They didn’t mention the ear tips were mostly missing. Still cheaper though…
Work well. Fit well, now I’ve bought replacement third party ear tips. Noise cancellation is fairly good. Batteries last well and charge quickly.
They are fairly good.
-Sound quality: 5/5
-Quality/Price ratio: 4/5 (Bought it with a huge discount)
-Noise cancellation: 5/5
-Ear adaptability: 4/5
-Battery life: 4/5
I deducted a star mainly because I have the constant feeling they might fall out of my ears, even though I have large ears.
The sound was surprisingly good/acceptable when used inside and out and calls were also OK (was advised could hear background noise but voice could still be heard). Also liked the fact they are contained inside the ear shell and so don’t knock on earrings.
Unfortunately they would not stay in my ears, even with the smallest earpiece
(may not be an issue for everyone as I have small ears) which for me, is no good for gym and everyday use and they also hurt my ears after a time.
For these reasons, I have to return them.
These were a first time buy ,my friend recommended that I try out these ear buds. I love the clarity of the sounds and the deep bass too. I’m not disappointed!
Have bought quite a few earphones in the past but these are the best by far. Snug and tight fit, dont fall out even when in the gym. Excellent noise cancelling with unbeatable sound quality
Comfortable to wear for very long periods of time, great noise cancelling, and unparalleled sound quality for bluetooth earbuds. A great upgrade from the Galaxy Buds 2. Worth mentioning that the carry case is easily scuffed but it’s what the case is there for.
TLDR if you’ve got a Samsung smartphone, the cash to spare, and want something with more features and smarter integration than budget earphones I think these are a good buy. Sound quality is great for earbuds.
I bought these off the back of many years of using another popular budget to mid range brand. These were significantly more expensive than what I usually get but I wanted to try something different and which hopefully lasts longer. These have really nice integration with my phone and a bunch of extra features. I’m particularly fond of the pass through mode which is very clear indoors and on occasion the amplified pass through setting when I’m out walking in a quiet spot and I pause the music and I want to hear what’s going on around me without touching my earphones or obviously looking around. This brings me round to the only criticism I have which is although the fit test was a really nice feature I sometimes find them slipping out of position and if I push them back in I activate the play/pause touch function which cannot be remapped. It would be nice to be able to map play/pause to a double tap but sadly you can’t do that in the app. Also the noise cancelling and pass through modes only work when you have both earphones in, and personally I tend to prefer only one earphone at a time. I’m still getting used to only gripping them at the very edges and that I don’t need to pause first when taking them out as they will usually auto pause when they detect they are not in your ear. Voice detect is nice on paper but I’m not sure it works well enough for me as I’m typically softly spoken. It seems to lower the volume based on how loud you are talking, but for me it can end up in an awkward middle ground if I’m listening to something and start talking to someone then I can’t properly hear what the other person is saying and whatever I’m listening to just becomes annoying and I’m aware I’m missing it, so I usually just end up pausing it anyway. If I speak loudly initially it will effectively mute whatever I had been listening to, which is good, but when I start talking softly again the whole exchange just comes across like I was angry at being interrupted or something. In fairness though it is very handy when I’m doing washing up not having to touch my ears. Lastly the battery life is really good, about what I have come to expect from other earphones where on the rare occasions that I have used them for extended periods I seem to get roughly 5 to 6 hours on one earphone at a medium volume (as in I can still clearly hear everything going on around me) and I charge the case maybe once or twice per week. Which while I’m on the subject the case light will shine green, yellow or red depending on how much is left in the battery, which I thought was nice. And the case seems sturdy so hopefully the top won’t break off this one!
Overall I think these are great so far and I would buy them again if I was looking to spend a bit more money on something good.
Very good sound and the ambient settings are very good if you want to block out external noise or hear it. Your choice and works very well. Very impressed with amount of time you can use them between charges. Would definitely recommend
It’s very good, the noise cancellation works well too. I had a Jabra Air Bud, and you can’t compare the quality. Samsung is not really loud and also the Jabra one fits better my ear. But a part of that, it’s a good product and has a good battery life
Wasn’t sure why these were alot cheaper than other’s at first but saw that they come with a 2 year warranty so could have them even cheaper without. Have to say my Son is raving about them! He says they are noise cancelling and the sound is top notch. He can’t praise them enough. He says they fit easily into his ears and are very comfy. He has not had them out of his ears since he had them! He can connect them to his tv too which he really likes. Highly recommended.
I had the Sony WM1000XS4 (something like that) which are really good. But, they got wet with sweat at the gym and now the left bud is all very very quiet. So I got the Samsung buds2 pro because they claim to be waterproof….
They arrived just as I got home from work at 10am. They were already half charged so I put them in to try the fit and see how the noise cancelling is. The charging case is very small and fits perfectly in a pocket. The buds are so much smaller and lighter than the Sony’s and these don’t stick out. They fit in your ears perfectly. They also come either 3 seal bud things
I started the washing machine whilst listening to Pink Floyd’s Uncomfortably Numb and the noise cancelling certainly does work for sure. To the point I thought I hadn’t swith the washing machine on. But I did.
Time to take them off and to give them a good charge. Now where did I put the case? I looked everywhere. Then the dreaded feeling. It’s still in my pocket from my work pants thats now in the washing machine! I’ve never felt so sick in my life 200 and only had them for 20mins.
I quickly stopped the washing machine and hunted for my pants. Sodden, soaked and dripping I found them, searching for the pockets, water everywhere. I felt the lump. I pulled the case out. Drenched.
Opened the lid of the case. The inside is all dry but what about the USB port.
I put the buds in and set them to charge. The red charge light came on and I hoped it would turn green when charged. Washing finished and all hung out to dry I checked on the case. The lights turned green. So yes. The case is definitely waterproof/resistant.
Very good sound very good buds.
Since I only watch movies and have not used it for music the 360 sound is not as immersive as I thought it would be. This is after using them for 5 weeks. Don’t get me wrong the sound is pretty good with great bass but poor 360 sound. Going to save for the Sony WH-1000XM4. In retrospect I should have bought those but regrettably wanted to stay in the Samsung economy system.
Music to my ears when ever they are fully charged. Voice calls/video calls/films and of course music! Brilliant for them daily usage. A big thumbs up from me
Expensive ear buds, but they do work really well! These ear buds fit really comfortably, and feel fairly securely seated when in use. The bluetooth connection is reliable. The charging case it very thoughtfully designed, and closes with a satisfying soft snap. The ability to switch between ‘ambient pass through’, ‘standard’, and ‘active noise cancelling’ is extremely well implemented. The auto switch from active noise cancelling to ambient pass-through when the buds detect that you are trying to speak to someone is a particularly nifty feature.
I am generally pleased with my purchase, these buds are great. They aren’t quite as comfortable as my Apple Air Pods but nether the less they are a great purchase. In my opinion they compare favourably with much more expensive buds.
I normally have issues with ear buds fitting and falling out on my ears (I cant wear airpods at all) but these work great. Noise cancelling is amazing and nice feel to them also. All in all I’m very impressed.
I was looking for a good pair of earbuds for a while and had after going through a lot of videos and reviews I decided to go with these. In retrospect it should have been an easier choice as I already use a Samsung phone and watch.
The sound quality is simply amazing. Keep in mind though these are not wired headphones. The app on the phone let’s you really customise it and integrates well with other devices, apps and features.
With ANC the battery lasts around 4.5 hour which is good enough for me. While the bass isn’t extremely good, it is really up there. Using it with YouTube music (Dolby On) really gives you a better music experience.
There are lots of features like 360 sound, voice detect etc., which may not work with non galaxy phones.
So if you have a Samsung Phone, then this is undoubtedly the best earbuds for you.
I’ll start with the negatives, the lack of Alexa support & hi-resolution audio is only when used with Galaxy S devices rather than globally via LDAC/AptX, which I consider to be a very fruity move to say the least.
And I’m not keen on the rubberised feel of the case, it makes it feel very fragile and anything in my pockets will scratch it, I think I’d prefer a more smooth pebble for sliding in and out of pockets while being more resilient to scratches/scuffs.
You can set Alexa as the summoned assistant when you long press the buds, which calls up Alexa on your phone. – its just very hit/miss, no point.
Now, onto the positives.
But, the sound quality is brilliant clear highs and good bass (when using bassy EQ) and no signs of popping at maximum volume.
Noise cancellation is good, ive had better but its definitely effective & on the flip side what it can do with Ambient amplification is brilliant, it’s the first set of earbuds I’ve owned where I can actually have them in and have a conversation with someone.
This is largely thanks to a feature (can turn it on or off in the Wear app) where it detects you speaking it’ll switch off noise cancelling and turn on Ambient sound & introduce mic monitoring so you can actually talk to people and hear them, without accidentally shouting at them, there’s occasional false positives but for the most part it’s pretty accurate and it’s a feature I’ve left turned on.
The comfort is great, the first earbuds I’ve owned in which I could actually lay down on a pillow without feeling my brains being probed.
And the touch controls seem very good/accurate, with minimal accidental triggers.
I’ve had a fair few earbuds at this point, and I can honestly say these are the best sounding earbuds I’ve had to date.
These have been the best I’ve owned so far, fit snugly in my ears and look good. The only gripe I have is around the 24 bit audio support for Samsung meaning if I use these with my iPad or other device the sound quality isn’t as good.
Beautiful sound (using Galaxy Z fold 4), and smaller than the last version that I replaced. Make sure you keep experimenting with the tip sizes to get the right fit, especially if exercising (running etc). If you can get a.decent fit they are excellent.
I have always gone with Samsung products.
These are great to put in your ear. Very comfy and good sounds to the ear for the price.
Easy to set up and use. No real testing times ahead for you. Things are better if you do go with Samsung products. However, saying that, they do work with other brands.
Tried to go to the website to claim money back, as mentioned on the vendor’s page, but the site/page does not exist…Not the end of the world.
My journey to find new ANC earbuds to workout in since breaking my Bose Soundsport earbuds:
After trying a friend’s Airpod Pro 2s with his I phone 14 I was thoroughly impressed with how clear and balanced in ears could be. Also their ANC is fantastic. I still think they’re the best in ear headphones I’ve tried (despite the sublte white noise whine they emit). However you 100% need an i phone. Otherwise you’ll just be getting a second rate experience, especially as the sound is not as good without an i phone.
However, on buying a pair of AirPod Pro 1s, they just really didn’t sound great with my Samsung S21 (also the right one was faulty as I bought from Backmarket so I sent them back).
I then tried a relative’s Bose QuietComfort Buds II and the noise cancelling on these is the best I’ve tried. Imo, they are as good as Sony WH1000 XM4s. The fit is good, however the sound profile is so unbalanced. They’re really bassey and all mids and highs sound warm and muted. The EQ in the app doesn’t do much to change this. They’re also 250..do not buy them.
I finally settled on the Galaxy Buds Pro II after remembering that Samsung makes earbuds. I bought for 170 after seeing the very positive reviews on here, and yeah the moment I tried them they sounded miles better than the Bose QC buds II. They’re very balanced like the AirPod Pro 2s I tried. They have crisp, slightly pronounced highs, normal mids and slightly pronounced bass. Every genre sounds really good with these, I can’t complain. The ANC is as good as Air Pod Pros (so very good). The fit is as good as any other ANC bud I’ve tried. (The fit on Bose Soundsport wired buds was still better than any of the ANC buds I’ve tried because they had that rubber wing that fits in your ear – but they’re not ANC and you had that wire between the buds).
Defo buy for 170 if you have an android and especially if you have a Samsung phone. 220 is still not bad value for them, considering AirPod pros (both gen) are as expensive and Bose QC buds are 250.
For years in have used cheaper in-ear buds. They had good sound but always lacked somewhere so I ended up with two sets (one for music and one for hands free while working).
I tried my friends air pods and thought they were great but the hanging from my ear thing I truly disliked ( I want them for me discreet and unseen, not look at my expensive air pods hanging from my ear and by the way I have a 1K phone in my pocket).
I bought an S23 ultra and thought spend the extra and get the best buds Samsung have to match.
These are amazing! Sound quality is superb and even at very low volume they have depth.
Hands free is again excellent with most people hearing no external noise and I have super sound quality for calls. Noise cancellation is unbelievable, at work I would reach for ear defenders but not with these buds. Lastly the ambient sound (and 360 sound) I cannot recommend enough that you try. They even have a a voice detect that will lower the level of your media sound to talk to someone returning when they leave.
My friend with the air pods agreed they sound better than his. (What a turnaround).
Buy them!
Battery life is excellent around 5hrs and if you want them to last longer turn of ambient and noise cancellation for and extra 2-3 hrs.
Case charged my buds 3x
I love the sound quality and the noise cancelling on these buds, unfortunately I don’t find them to fit as well as my buds 1 that I was replacing. They don’t tend to stay in my ears as well as the older ones.
I like the case and ultimately am still pleased with them.
After 15yrs of trying, and hating, in-ear wireless earphones, I had resigned myself to the fact I simply have ears that don’t like earbuds. I have relied exclusively on my excellent Sony ZX770 headphones.
Recently though, I started to contemplate the Apple EarPods, not least as most friends who bought them sounded like an infomercial they were so excited about them.
After reading a few reviews & comparisons with the latest Buds Pro 2, I thought I would give Samsung a final chance (I’d previously owned, and returned, an older incarnation of the Galaxy earbuds).
Whatever they’ve done in the design department, these now fit my ears. They have a software test that uses mic feedback to confirm if you have a good fit / seal or should swap the rubber tips to a bigger size.
They sound excellent. They are light, super-comfortable, charge fast. Their case is very compact. The software is very intuitive.
The ambient noise feature is simply excellent and the ability to program each touch button differently is more useful than you would ever think. In fact the ambient / noise-cancelling mode is so good that you can adjust it to amplify one ear more than the other if you’re hard of hearing (disclaimer: OF COURSE they cannot offer the same frequency profile amplification that a dedicated hearing aid offers).
The auto-detect switch to ambient is a nice touch.
Absolutely love these earphones. The sound quality is great and the noise cancellation is brilliant.
I sadly lost one of my Samsung pro buds and had to replace. I took the opportunity to upgrade – wow the Buds2 Pro are a huge improvement. They are really comfortable and in my opinion are far easier to use across their full capabilities. The app makes any tweaks so easy. I love them.
Good headphones for gym good fit and the sound isn’t the best but it’s great enough for what you need.
Good sound quality battery life really good noise cancellation good to really good
I have taken some time to write this review. The build and connection performance is good, I like the case and the buds are comfy to wear. The issue comes with Noise Cancellation and sound. I own and am comparing these to my Bose, which are just much better in this area, in fact a lot better.
The packaging of the product feels very premium and the material used for the case especially feels extremely polished and I definitely prefer the look to the AirPods case(s)
One thing I will also say is that the shape is very easy to fit the ear and the entire process feels seamless, I prefer that there is no stem as It feels like the product has a better design and for those who are unaware, these earbuds have an extremely high water resistance rating which allows me to wear these whilst in the shower.
The audio quality is even better than I expected, Samsung owns the company responsible for determining the universally best EQ and it’s very clear within this product as the sound is incredible for earbuds. not too much base but also great clarity within the audio.
I cannot comment on the interface since I don’t have the app due to being an iPhone user, this means that I have no access to all of the configurations that the software provides however I don’t really feel as though I need it. Noise Cancellation is automatically enabled whenever the earphones are initially turned on and in order to toggle transparency mode it is a simple hold of one of the earbuds whilst it’s in your ear.
I used to own Sony XM4 headphones which had ridiculously great noise cancelling but sold them due to wanting the money back, I found that these earphones whilst (obviously) being less potent in noise cancellation, they still block out a lot of noise especially the low frequency noises such as a fan or humming etc. voices are also quite drastically muffled.
I will say though that the noise cancellation is far from perfect and you may be underwhelmed if you were under the impression that these would be able to provide noise cancelling on par with actual ANC headphones. particularly when it comes to higher frequencies such as a shower etc.
I am overall extremely happy with the comfort of these earbuds and didn’t even think that earphones could be this comfortable. If you’re looking for quality earphones with good noise cancelling and a great EQ then I’d have to recommend these.
I will say however that if you aren’t too bothered with the 15% larger size of the buds2 pro’s predecessor (i.e., the buds pro), and don’t want better water resistance nor are you bothered too much about noise cancellation, i’d probably suggest you get the older version as as far as I can tell, those are the main differences other than more options i’m the app for the newer earbuds (which I don’t even have access to regardless)
Good noise cancellation. Excellent sound quality. Slightly disappointing battery life.
They are smaller than the bud 1s but the battery overtime is much longer comfort can change be pending on hot days and how sensitive your ears are 100% recharge in about 30 mins.if you have ear wax problems it’s your own choice but clean ears first before use
Replaced my original buds as misplaced them
These work fine and have deent noise cancelling
Theses ear Buds are great. And they do what they say in the literature provided online
Comfortable, excellent noise cancelling and very good sound quality.
You get the full array of features if you have a Samsung phone / tablet.
I’ve got the sonys and these and choose these as I have other Samsung products
I got these free with my z fold 4 so can review impartially. I had a set of Sony XM4’s so planned on selling these on ebay but my son opened the box so halfed my resale value. Decided to keep them as a spare set and gave them a try. In my opinion these are superior to the sony’s. At least when connected to a Samsung phone. They use a different codex for 24 bit audio so I assume quality is superior on samsung than when paired with say an iPhone or pixel.
The buds are tiny and very light while still feeling very high quality thanks to a nice soft touch matt coating. Sound quality on my preffered EQ setting is excellent and the noise cancellation is great. In my opinion superior to the sony’s which when released were market leading.
Battery life is good but not the best due to small size but its an acceptable tradeoff to for how comfortable they are to wear.
I highly recommend these earbuds to any Samsung phone owner.
I was very impressed and surprised at the great sound quality from these Samsung buds 2 pro.
To me they are worth every penny
Really easy connection to phone. If you have a Samsung phone just open the case and ha presto they automatically connect to your phone
I would highly recommend these Samsung buds 2 Pro, you won’t be disappointed.
(Go on you know you want to )
A BIG from me.
I have bought many buds and in-ear earphones over the last few years including Apple AirPods Pro, Galaxy Buds Plus, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Huawei Freebuds, and Sony WF1000-MX3 – which are the top buds in the market.
Out of all of them, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is the best easily. It has a compact shape and small charging box, it has a very comfortable and good fit, it has a very good active noise cancellation that is better than Apple AirPods Pro, and also the overall sound quality is better than Apple’s offering. The Sony buds have connection issues and suffers from lack of energy efficiency.
I would highly recommend these buds, whether you use an Android or an iPhone. I use these buds with a Samsung S22 Ultra, and the sound quality is just amazing.
I don’t know why some people gave lower marks in their reviews, but my guess is they have not explored the full functionality and they didn’t use the right size ear tips to get a good seal.
This is definitively at least a 4.5/5 product. Don’t waste your time and money on other buds. Until something better is in the market, this is the one to go with.
Sound quality is not much better but the fact it never falls out working out compared to the buds pro makes it literally worth the price. its lighter and more comfortable. The buds just stick to your ears like super glue its wonderful
Need to get use to how to put these in my ears, but I guess this will be a minor adjustment period. Still getting use to the matte finish instead of the high gloss from the Buds Pro. The case is exactly the same size as the Pro, and fits in the polycarbonate case I had.
For such a smaller and lighter device, it certainly packs a punch. Setting the audio EQ to Bass Boost, and using custom EQ settings in my audio app, I have fine tuned these to push a little bit more bass. And its definitely more punchier when you enable active noise cancelling.
Honestly, I love the Original Pros and ive tried soundcore (too bass-heavy), and Sonys (too big and bulky) offerings and I never got along with them.
So far I’ve had every “Buds” from Samsung since the first pair, and with the exception of the Lives (Nice idea, poorly implemented) they have been my favourites at the time, with each pair improving during their life cycle with updates.
Still, these are the best so far, sound quality is on par for me with my old Shure 535, the mix is nicely balanced, highs and mids are clear, the bass has a nice thump without getting too boomy, voices are clear when watching the video, if you love the Pros then these are a great incremental update, improving the ANC and sound quality on a pair that IMO was already very good, at the current price you may want to wait a few months, but still, personally, I don’t feel robbed, and am more than happy with my purchase.
The case is the same size as the LIVE and Pros, so if you have purchased a cover it will fit perfectly, however, they have changed the size of the tips “again” and any you have for your Pros v1 won’t fit this pair, but they are a more standard size (round without the keying) and others already on the market will most likely fit if you can work out the sizing correctly.
