Almost 5 stars apart from its very difficult to see inside when working. It’s only a problem when boiling milk or similar when you need to see a precise moment to stop the machine.
Adjusting the time is also a bit basic as no key pad to type in time and relays on rotating dial I should have noticed before ordering
Apart from those points it seems reasonable good quality time will tell

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought this model microwave in 2013. Has served us very well in that time. A couple of weeks ago, something went wrong and when you closed the door, the power would start up. Could only stop it by unplugging. Probably a simple fault, but I don’t have the knowledge to repair it. So looked for a replacement. After scouring reviews sites, including Which! magazine, this model popped up again. It’s still a Which! Best Buy. At 100 it’s a bargain. So we bought the same model again and am very happy that we did. We don’t multi cook in it, we have an Ninja AirFryer for most cooking. But this is great at giving a couple of button presses – 30 seconds each, to warm up a cup of coffee or heat up some chilled indian. Which is all we need it for. It’s still one of the cleanest best looking microwaves out there. Not too many confusing buttons or clutter. Yes, the glass is dark, but seriously if you’re staring into the glass to watch your food cook – ask yourself why you are doing that! Simply no need.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this microwave to replace our old microwave which had gone rusty. It arrived with good packaging. Looks really well with ceramic interior which stops the rusting. It’s very easy to use product. Also easy to keep clean and the power saving turn off option is too handy. Only issue is can’t see inside while cooking, due to colour. It has standard size of plate. Has variety of function, sturdy and made with good quality. Doesn’t take long time to heat up food.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smart microwave

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersPrior to acquiring this microwave, I invested some time in reading reviews and conducting research. It’s an ideal size for our compact kitchen, ensuring it doesn’t occupy excessive counter space. While the appearance is pleasing, the visibility of items inside is slightly challenging due to the dark door. Nevertheless, it boasts all the features one would seek, performing precisely as expected and equipped with modern conveniences. Overall, it’s a worthwhile purchase—easy to use and hopefully a lasting addition to our kitchen.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWhat I like:
    It’s nice looking.
    Cooks evenly.
    Loud beep.
Powerful fan expelling moisture (so reduces buildup of condensation internally), but that means you certainly know when it is on.
It has 5s time steps (my previous Panasonic had 10s steps).
Easy to clean (ceramic interior finish).
I like the fact they the interior has a five year warranty – they must have faith that it won’t rust like most do.
    Bright display.
Has power saving feature (but manual).

    Not quite so good:
Power saving should be automatic – it should shut off power after a short time.
You pull the door to open rather than press a button, and it’s quite noisy closing.
I didn’t experience an issue with the door being stiff to open as some reporte.
The internal light is okay when the door is open, but I wish manufacturers would put a light on both side. With the door closed, it’s almost impossible to see inside unless you turn all the room lights off (and close the blinds!) – as many report. I fail to understand why it was not designed to make it possible to clearly see what’s cooking – useful if you want to ensure your coffee or porridge doesn’t boil over! The wire mesh needs to be their to reflect the 3cm microwaves back into the oven and let none out but other manufacturers have managed to do this and have good visible light transparency too.
The light comes out of the back of the unit (so more could have been done to channel all the light into the cavity!)
This ‘defect’ is mentioned in many reviews (not just Amazon), but I will live with it – the advantages outweigh this disadvantage.
I was going to include a picture showing the view inside with the door closed to show how difficult it was to see the contents but bizarley with a phone camera you can see quite clearly into the machine!!!

The fan could stay on a bit longer to reduce condensation buildup when you don’t remove the contents straight away (minor point).

Overall, a very good microwave and I have no regrets buying it. I certainly do recommend it.

Time will tell (of course) how long it will last, but generally Samsung products are well made.

Would have given a 5 star review, but have found buttons on touch pad to be unresponsive, have to press the power level button several time’s to get it to work.
Really like the enamel interior design, last Panasonic microwave unit had a painted protective interior, totally unfit for purpose, rusted in no time under the turntable, the main reason I chose this was to avoid that issue, so far no problem at all, all stem from cooking is expelled with a powerful fan, really pleased.
Full sized dinner plate fit’s for re heating, good sized cavity for cooking vessels, at 800W not the most powerful, but value for money certainly, just the niggley buttons, please sort this out manufacturer!

Massive downside is the internal light which is very dim , if you need to monitor your food whilst cooking I would give this one a miss

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe got this in a black friday sale and so far it’s been brilliant. Feature-rich and it comes with a free steamer bowl which is handy!
Instructions contain some broken English and can be a bit strange to read but I didn’t really need to read them anyway as it’s all pretty straightforward to set up and use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter I placed my order I zoomed in on the image of the microwave only to discover the panel had “Russian” writing on it. I was relieved when it arrived and it was in English. A mystery!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis microwave smashes all of the expectations you would have for a microwave. You put the food in, press the +30 second button a bunch of times, the food gets hot and then it beeps to let you know the time is up!

As mentioned in other reviews the door is a bit tricky to see through but that probably means it provides a higher protection against stray radiation and in reality this doesn’t cause any issues in day to day use.

Amazing microwave. Being needing to replace ours for a while and once I saw this on offer on Amazon, I quickly snapped this up.
The ceramic feature is great since this will allow easy cleaning.
Its not that loud when running and very stylish as well.
Very happy with this product and highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFed up buying ceeap supermarket microwaves that go rusty within 12 months, I went for Samsung with ceramic inside, no sign of rust. It doesn’t seem as quick as my old microwave despite being more powerful, and it clunks when running. It’s okay but I was hoping for bette

Hubby gets confused now he’s older with digital or complicated features.
This is so easy to use for him and the family.

It cleans and shines up well on the outside with a micro clothe.
Easy to wipe down inside and underside.

No problems in settings, temperature, nothing.

    So far so good.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis microwave oven looks smart and works well. It is affordably priced and has more functions than I need, which made it initially seem slightly complicated to operate. However, in practice only two buttons and a rotary timing setting are needed.

The buttons could be more clearly labelled and a sticker showing the output rating (800 watts) is surprisingly absent on the unit.

The next-day delivery was great and the oven arrived in pristine condition.

Microwave is a great addition to the kitchen replaced a well used one which had rusted through. Works well, light is a bit dim but the important bit is the heating and it does it well. Bought a couple of covers to go over food to reduce the cleaning of splatter.

Overall, good. Cons: can’t see through the dark glass door – annoying. Also, not as powerful as my last 800 daewoo microwave. Pluses: nice appearance, fits large dinner plates and is good value for money.

Having previously purchased a smaller microwave (17 litre) that was not easy to clean this one has been a great investment. The larger volume makes it easier to get larger containers in for cooking without a noticeable worktop space infringement. Looks great and simple to use.

The one irritating thing about this product is that you can’t see through the door when in use. This can cause problems should the food boil over during cooking. Other than that I’m generally pleased with the purchase.

We ordered this microwave because our previous 2 microwaves have rusted inside… This has a ceramic coating inside which feels a lot thicker and is easy to clean. The microwave is a little hard for an inexperienced man to operate – I found the buttons are not very intuitive, but once my wife had explained what to do it’s a breeze. Everything functions as you’d expect – heats stuff etc. The door feels very slightly flimsier than I’d like but not troublesomely so.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI purchased this microwave to replace the only previous one I have owned that lasted around 24 years from Panasonic. It still worked although the door/latch had started to stick and did look very dated. I decided it was time for a new model.

I did consider many machines and read many reviews but this one stood out as was relatively feature rich, the ideal size I was looking for, looked good and was a good price.

I do have a couple of minor irritations which are mentioned in other reviews but did not deter my from purchasing although is the reason why I knocked one star off…

    1) The user manual included in the box is going some to be called a manual. It barely covers the basics and generally is of little use. Some of the buttons are not self explanatory and do need instructions on what they are and indeed how they are used. The poor manual is easily remedied by visiting the Samsung website and downloading the full version which in my opinion should have been included in the box. I agree that potentially most users will discard the manual at the bottom of a drawer never to be seen again once they have become familiar with the controls but still, not including this in the box is a poor service to the customer.

    2) Secondly… the blacked out door. While I appreciate that one of the selling points is the pleasing aesthetics, the door is blacked out and almost opaque to the extent that even in a darkened room and with the internal light shining whilst the machine is in operation it is only possible to make out a very vague outline of the contents. If cooking a liquid… soup, porridge etc. you would never be able to see if it was boiling over without opening the door. I believe the light is there purely to light up the inside when the door is opened so you can then see the contents… it offers little use whilst the machine is in operation.

All that said… it fits in the space I needed it to, has good internal dimensions, looks good, works well and is a good price. I am generally happy with my purchase and based on my requirements I saw no other model out there that I felt was more suited than this one.

Compact footprint yet large capacity, love that it heats the food and not the containers, simple operation, lovely to clean. Only downside – hence four stars – is that you cannot see in it but we have learned to know how long things take without boiling over!! Highly recommended.

Had this for a few months now & still haven’t got a clue how to do most things! Able to defrost bread & use the microwave time & power variables so not an issue. Came with scant instructions, more instructions available online but still complicated. I like a booklet that I can keep close at hand until I master it – often many years

The microwave was emitting a high pitched noise from the control panel – sounded like a faulty capacitor perhaps? Returned for a replacement without issues. Replacement is fine, doesn’t make the noise.

The MS23F301TAS is a great microwave that is easy to use. It has one short-coming mentioned by other reviewers, which is only an issue, as far as I can see, when cooking / heating foods in liquid form. With the opaque glass door, you cannot tell if the food is boiling and spilling over.

It may be an urban myth, but I so want to believe popty ping really is Welsh for microwave!
Anyway, our old Samsung microwave had popped its ping so a new one was needed. This replacement is the updated version and was bought on the strength that we had learned how to use the old one! You simply keep pressing the bottom right button for 30 seconds of microwaving (popty pinging??). There are a myriad of other functions but i doubt we will ever use them.
Although the volume is the same the shape of the door frame is slightly different so, for example, a jug we used to able to place inside does not fit in this one when upright!
The window is slightly darker so its difficult to see inside when cooking – but that’s not a deal breaker.
Overall simple to use, easy to clean and reasonable value.

This is a very smart looking microwave. Silver and black best of both. Fits nicely on my worktop and after 2 weeks I am getting used to the controls as the buttons are a little dark against the oven but that could be because it is on a worktop with an overhead cupboard. Have defrosted bits & cooked jacket potatoes like everything you will need to play around with the times & Like every new toy once you get used to the controls you can do it blindfolded. The mirrored door is good looking and has no fingerptints on it – woohoo. Can’t understand why people are moaning about it – for goodness sake use the handle that’s what it’s for – there is absolutely no need to stick your mits all over it!!! And if you think the ‘BEEPS!!!’ are too loud – I suggest you wear ear plugs – Get a grip people!! Enough said I like it The End

This was the biggest capacity size microwave that I could find that would fit into the depth of a standard ikea kitchen wall cabinet, without going down the integrated microwave route.

I’ve had this now for some months.

I am very impressed with the build quality, it door mechanisms works smoothly and doesn’t jolt the whole microwave when opened/closed.

Easy to clean inside surfaces. Easy to use controls.

Only downside I can find is that the window is mirrored (that’s nice) but very dark so we can barely see the food inside if you’re doing something that requires monitoring.

I’d highly recommend for the money.
