Had this about 3 years or so. A really good all round product for an average household to use. Picture quality is pretty good you won’t zoom in on a spot on someone’s nose but it is only 2mp camera. Playback is easy to navigate on both monitor and the app. The night vision is pretty good. You can still make out who people are when checking who’s at door etc.
I would say for me the app Xmeye can be slow and glitchy on iPhone but android it seems to run smoother on the play back. But generally the hardware has done its job for a few years and had no issues with setting up and adjusting settings within the system. For what you get it’s worth it. If you want 4K quality then I’d upgrade them if mine do fail. But it does it’s job good enough for me and a decent price.
The postures are great, the night vision is excellent I even at night with heavy rains. I’m very happy with the Sansco CCTV.
The quality of the product is excellent. Picture is as sharp as you could ask for. The motion detection is excellent and alert are very quick.
Such a simple camera system to set up and use. Common sense will get it done in no time. Picture quality is great and record mode is so easy to use. When like me you are a one man show it make watching the shop so much easier. 🙂 And if you ever need advice, help is only a text away.

This system is very easy to fit and work with. The mobile app is really easy to use and it works really well. You can see what is on the hard already record on the phone and is really easy to use. Everything plug and play and is really good. The image quality is good during the night and is extremely good during the day. I will buy it again for my parents house.
Purchased in 2018 and after 3 years we have our first issue with the system, 2 cameras failed. After contacting the customer care team they have shipped us 2 brand new cameras even after all this time which is amazing service after so long. No messing about just fast service and very helpful. Quality of the system even to this day is excellent, software is easy to use and very responsive.

The product is really easy to install and the set up is just as easy. Perfect for anyone who is not technically minded. The picture quality is first class and I love that you can view the cameras remotely using an app on your phone.
Packaging is proper and nice. The DVR is well protected with really good bubble wrap and each camera comes in a separate carton box with protection. All the power supplies and the mouse comes in a separate box. Really nice.
The cameras are 1080p quality and can be adjusted to 720p as required. Day vision is very clear, and night vision also works fairly well, you may fit some floodlights supplementing the IR LEDs on the camera to improve the performance, but as said, their night vision do fairely well. Their app (both Android and iOS) also works fine. I haven’t tested out their motion detection so I cant comment on that.
Features I like:
* You can remotely view all the cameras from another place other than your home
* You can view up to 8 cameras on one screen
* You can play back multiple recordings at once
* You can view them on your mobile devices, PC and laptop, anywhere as long as you have internet access
* Image quality is very good, both day and night vision, although you can’t zoom in too much because it will become a little bit blurry
* Easy to install and setup, almost fit and forget system, plug and play.
* Cameras aren’t ugly, metal bodies, very sturdy and heavy wires
Features I don’t like:
– Still haven’t tried the motion detection but looking back on some reviews, others do mention it is way too sensitive, I need it to continuously record so I leave it on 24/7 recording so motion detection not really a big issue for me
– remote playback on mobile phone sometimes take too long to load
I will probably update back once I discover more things I don’t like but for now everything is quite good, I did have a little problem getting the system up and running but with the help of Sansco we got the problem fixed and everything is fine. Cable laying technology can be understood with my photos. In some places I managed to hide the cable inside the wall, in other places the cable is reliably closed from external influences.
The chambers have a waterproof metal housing. It ‘s not a bad defense against vandalism. The system has several modes of warning: motion detector, camera shutdown, camera closure by any object… In these cases, the system will alert you with an audio signal or a message. (message – if you connected the system to the Internet.) To avoid data loss, you can duplicate online recording to a server that is convenient to you. In this case, no one can steal your records.
The system is easy to install and use. Not a bad quality for cameras of this category. Easily transfer data to USB storage. They work perfectly in night mode. If there are “dark places” on your territory, (a very large garden) they can be further illuminated with an IR spotlight, which will have to be purchased separately. The price of such a spotlight is about 20.

Bought 12 months ago and was unable to fit until now. One of the plastic clips was missing and had a problem viewing all cameras on tv after a few seconds just kept going to black screen. e mailed and explained my situation and they replied within 24 hrs. Over the next couple of days dortex my problems and sent new camera fixing. ThIS waS BRILLIANT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Asked questions about a remote control that I had with camera system as I could not get it to work. HavE emailed a few times about this and have had no contact for last 3 weeks . So this hass NOT BEEN BRILLIANT ! Cannot get anyone to reply to my emails.

Really good piece of kit, zoom in pic quality is basic but it is very good value and serves the purpose for cctv in my shop
I have had to make one return visit to the shop, as it was not immediately apparent how to review footage form all 8 cameras in “playback”. When I did default it to these settings, it was so slow and “jittery” that I changed it back to only seeing 4 cameras by default. I also couldn’t get it to work on the PC, and gave up trying…that will be for another day!

Occasionally the system will reboot itself and be offline for 50 seconds. It’s not the scheduled reboot and usually happens when I’m using remote playback from the PC app, so is likely a crash. The system does sound the alarm upon reboot to say there was a problem though, so that’s good. The apps also have terrible spelling and grammar and are poorly translated. Don’t bother with their suggested phone app, use vMEyeSuper or similar.
With all the above said, the bullet style camera picture quality is sufficient to pick out a car registration at 20 meters distance during the day, and 10 meters with night vision. The dome cameras have a noticeably lower quality picture, probably from the wider angle/fisheye lens so the domed ones are definitely better suited for indoor or above door installations.
Setting up the device will require patience and some technical knowledge, especially for remote access and email notifications. Setting up the alarms and motion sensing areas is relatively straight forward, though some menus aren’t intuitive and it took me a good few weeks of occasional digging to find where the video blind/blanking section is.
You can schedule times for when the alarm sounds, so it doesn’t wake you at night, however this schedule is for ALL settings, for alarm sound, logging, emailing. Now this might be me missing a setting somewhere, but I cannot tell it to stop sounding the alarm during night hours, but still make logs and emails, it will simply turn all of it off if outside the schedule.
On the subject of motion sensing, it seems way too sensitive during the night. I will get maybe one or two false alarms during the day, but at night the flies love the night vision infrared LEDs and will buzz around and trigger the alarm every few seconds. I wish I could schedule alarm sensitivity to be a little less sensitive at night.
On the infrared LEDs, they do glow a faint dark red at night, making the cameras visible to those that would pay attention. There are arguments for and against this though, Pro: it shows it’s not fake, Con: it reveals where they are and could make them a target for vandalism or a planned route of attack.
Hard drive space: We chose the 2TB drive because we plan to have all 8 cameras record. At the moment though we only have 5 cameras and are getting just a little less than 2 weeks of video history, so I can’t recommend anything less than 2TB space for more than 4 cameras if you want sufficient backdated video storage.
Cable quality is poor and they are fragile. We managed to damage one just feeding it through a brick hole and up the cavity and it made the picture drop out.
Despite all the above flaws, the unit is good value for money for home use. I would not recommend it for commercial use due to its unreliability and low resolution. A professionally installed 4k system would be better suited for that.

A very easy system to setup and use, picture quality is excellent even from distance. Found no problem using playback even without reading the instructions.
A tip here, set your cameras that are monitoring close views to record on motion only, it saves a lot of unnecessary recording and you can get longer recordings on the hard drive.

After a number of burglaries in my area I needed to set up a CCTV system fast, all eight cameras were up and working in a day, fantastic picture and night vision from good quality cameras and easy set up guide.
Extremely easy to set up on mobile phone , only downside is the rather bulky connector at short distance from camera – need to drill a very large hole to get it through for outside installation.
Bought this package after reading the reviews on Amazon and watching lots of usage videos on YouTube. Whilst this isn’t up there with the top end models, it does a very good job.
Picture quality during the day is clear. Bit of noise in the picture during the night, but otherwise OK. Zooming in, the picture is still quite clear.
Had a couple of faulty BNC cables which I’ve contacted the seller about, who have agreed to replace FoC.
Can view footage via the CCTV console and also remotely via phone app, XMEye. Remote access setup was easy, managed to complete in a few minutes.
However, there are 2 things I’m not so sure about when viewing the footage via the CCTV console. You can view a single timeline in the console or for every single camera.
1) you can’t move the timeline in sync across all camera timelines – each one is controlled separately
2) when in single timeline mode for multiple cameras, some of the events do not show up unless viewed for camera in question
Instructions are very simple for getting the system started – not comprehensive though. I didn’t try the mini CD, managed to break it putting the CCTV back into the box after inspection.
On the whole a decent piece of kit in terms of what you’re getting.

Received this in good order. 6 of the cameras are now operating. Waiting to fit other 2 after building work has been completed. Great quality pictures in each area. Had a malfunction on 2 of the 8 cables but the supplier replaced these without question. Arrived 2 days later. Had a friend install them because he is in the Audio Visual business, and he told me it is an excellent system for this kind of money. Should add that anyone without technical background could just as easily install. Didn’t know at time of ordering, but the system has a very clear zoom in facility. Would recommend to anyone considering a CCTV system. And the customer service should be commended on their no nonsense attitude when they replaced the cables. Well done!
Fantastic System and Great value, I bought this system to replace my old COP system. I am more than happy with it. I have fitted 6 of the 8 cameras and all is good. I would recommend anyone to buy this system not only for the reason of good quality pics and system layout and functions but for the after support you receive. I had a query with audio setup and received an email explaining everything I needed to know and also messenger support.
2 of my cameras had a fault with the bracket. This can happen with any device but the test of a good company is how they respond and deal with your issue. After contacting them, they have immediately arranged for 2 replacements to be sent out, no issue.

The picture is excellent.
The power travels along side the signal, so easy to connect through a UPS back beside the DVR (power supply has 9 outputs, 8 cams and 1 dvr)

Having used the system for a month in all light conditions I have to say I am extremely happy with this CCTV system. It works seamlessly and without fault. It just sits recording quietly in the background should it ever be needed. The ability to view images remotely anywhere I can get a wifi or internet connection through my phones mobile data roaming are an added bonus. Can’t fault this product.
The picture does look good on recordings however.
Since I posted this review the seller contacted me and gave me 20 refund for the cost of the replacement wires so I am changing my review to a 4* as this was decent and proactive on their part.
Product arrived very well packed and complete. Equipment appears good quality and complete. Set up was not difficult ..more problems with my router than the kit. Now all working, wifi and remote access. Camera images are good and very bright in the dark.
Overall very pleased with product and followup contact by supplier was unusual but appreciated.
The IR LED’s do glow in the dark, so from certain angles will be very obvious, but that said, part of the reason I got was deterrence. The functionality of the DVR system far exceeds that of the cameras supplied, so the system is up-gradable once you feel you need better cameras. The software supports PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) via the RS242 interface so that may well be my next step (to replace 1 bullet and 1 dome camera with PTZ cameras – leaving me with spares for the other 6 and an upgraded system). Point of note, cant see anyway of using it or controlling anything other than by wire. If you want wireless options then this is not the system for you. That said, a wired system is far more robust, given how cluttered 2.4 MHZ is any residential area (with the inherent risks of drop outs due to accidental or even deliberate interference).
All in all for the price I paid, I am very happy with my purchase.
21 May 17 – Still very happy with the system – paid for itself when we got a clear shot of someone damaging one of our cars – resultant video led to out of court settlement to replace rear screen on car – additionally as its registered local police will sometimes ask for video footage for crime detection – so if its good enough for them, its doing its job!
