Low-peat blend
To reduce peat we have instead included wood fibre, sourced from Irish sawmills to make use of a surplus by-product. This wood fibre is graded by chip size to ensure consistency in performance.

I used this compost last year in a large pot on the patio and I was really successful – plants thrived.
Other plants not planted in this compost were not so successful. Was also great in a hanging basket of busy lizy.

I bought already 3 bags of this soil and I honestly think this soil is the best I used so far. No infestation, no mould, just lovely soil and my plants absolutely love it!! This soils actually saved few of my dying plants.

Bought as investment for hanging baskets and pots, jury is still out as to whether it’s worth the money until I see results this summer. Very heavy bag for delivery, difficult for a single woman to move, perhaps offer multiple smaller bags as online offe
Started using recently so will see how it goes and whether it helps but a good size and should meet most needs.
It’s the first time I’ve used this compost and look forward to it improving the contents of large patio pots and growing cuttings and plants. I’ve been using Thompson and Morgan products for more than 40 years and they’ve never disappointed.

Everything I have potted with this compost is coming up nicely! This is a decent, all round compost. So far I have used it to pot up indoor and out plants with great success (nothing has died which is a first for me) and I also used it on my lawn whilst I was filling in some gaps with grass seed. It is a little more expensive than other more well known brands I have purchased before but worth it I think for the results.
