My orchids seem very happy with their new chipping compost they are growing new leaves, roots and stems so I’m also very happy with the new soil. I however had to buy 2 as the bags was smaller than I thought and I was short a little to repot 2 orchids
Purchased for mixing into the soil of my tub grown Fig tree. It definitely works for controlling the moisture and preventing unwanted weeds. I’ve also used it as a mulch around my Japanese Maples, which are also benefitting from the moisture and weed control. Impressive stuff that goes a long way.
The mixture is ideal for orchids. Its not too bulky so slips between the roots and fills the gaps. After 3 weeks of being replanted in this mixture all my orchids are flourishing.

Received this the other day and was disappointed that there was hardly any perlite in the mix, I had to add some more. I wish I had take a picture to show this.

Left the review a while, but my plants are looking very healthy, a couple of others orchid mulches there were complaints of bugs, there was none in this
I had made the mistake of first ordering soil compost which seemed to encourage loads of midges. I realised my error and this bark arrived very promptly – allowing me to save my orchids . Thank you

Decent, but a little too chunky – some pieces are as big as 5-7cm and really hard to break up! Other than that great.

I used this wonderful UK GROW Premium orchid care repotting bark to repot my orchids and bromeliads, it was so simple to repot the orchids as the bark was beautifully dry, there were no ‘claggy’ bits that I have seen in bags of re-potting compost from the chain garden outlets. This stuff is simply brilliant.
