This CCTV set up has been used to monitor a friends pub, in order to do so we wanted something a little bit more compact that wasn’t really in your face so the bullet camera style really wasn’t going to work
these smaller camera units still kick out as good if not better an image they have a direct connexion which is wired that goes straight to the NVR box as well as a splitter which allows the cameras to or be powered off one plug in order to set them up you just placed the camera where you need it plug in a cable into the back of the camera then trace the wires around the location your installing the mat and plug them into the back of the NVR and into the power plug.
It comes with a one terabyte hard drive which means that you should be able to get well over a month if not two in recordings so you can whine back and review everything however that all depends on various different things such as the amount of movement on camera the amount of light etc
once you have everything installed and set up around your property then comes time to set it up within the nvr so just connect that to a monitor or your TV then the included mouse allows you to change any settings including motion detection settings and area elimination in order to avoid false positives, at that point you can also set it up so that you can view it on your mobile phone from anywhere when you’re not even at home.
Absolutely the best CCTV SYSTEM. Very easy to install and set up. The 5MP Camera picture quality is clear and sharp. Has very nice features like motion sensors with Alarm and the Phone APP lets you view all the cameras in one place.

Picture quality is fantastic. Simple to install, mostly 1 person job. Would recommend getting a second person on board to help adjusting the cameras. Motion detection is a bit hit and miss but overall very pleased.

Excellent picture quality, easy to fit and good technical support if needed, you won’t be disappointed with the quality of this CCTV system, in fact I bought it for my workplace but am thinking of purchasing another one for me home. Excellent value!
A colour burr seems to move across different cameras at different times seen in my picture, also if you have an up to date laptop of PC it will be ridiculously difficult to set up a client for viewing.
I have more than a little tech experience, including using customers as unsuspecting beta testers, so the mouse, screen and button dance to set this system up was mostly entertaining. It could be frustrating for folks more accustomed to Apple-like user interfaces.
I stuck the four cameras around the yard for full coverage, set the control box/ hard drive near the WiFi router and plugged everything in. Up and running. Adjusted the cameras slightly and played with control menu/mouse/navigation buttons until I got tired of trying to figure out the proper sequence to get to things such as motion detection or record times set. I have a pretty picture of the yard, driveway and a portion of the street on an old 20″ monitor. If I get more paranoid I may choose to tackle the obtuse menu and control system to complete the configuration, but at the moment the last thing I’m interested in is screwing with an ill-conceived interface.
This purchase was made July 15 of 2019, and installation was July 26 2019. Purchase like this I prefer to give the product some time to prove itself. So far one of the best home purchases I’ve made. Had the cameras professionally installed, so I can’t review on setup or installation. Few things I will mention is the guy used his own cables(much better quality and included with install) and did the setup for mobile viewing as well. What I can review on is the clarity, security, convenience and the life of MY cameras.
Georgia resident, so we literally see all 4 seasons here, with the exception of some snow which is minimal compared to the northern states. I love how I can switch channels and view all 4 cameras on full screen. Cameras are good quality and weatherproof. Very clear during the day and night vision is clear, better than what I expected. The range of these cameras are great as well. No glitching or frozen screens. Like that I can view from a mobile device, that way I can see these Amazon packages being delivered as they safely should….Hint, Hint! One thing that did annoyed me was the motion sensors, yes I know someone is going to say that’s the best security part of having cameras, but for me NO. There was a constant clicking sound from the unit every time a car drove by, an animal flew by, crawled by, or even snails by…..imagine this at night trying to sleep. I just turned it off by going into the menu. One other thing, not an annoyance, but an OCD issue…lol is the time. For some reason my system is off by 2 or 3 minutes recording. I’ve gone into the menu several times to change it, but for some reason it keeps speeding up. I can live with it though. Now the other issue as you can tell from the picture up until around July 2020 one of my cameras started to show a really bad blurry view. I initially thought maybe a spider webbed the lens or something was stuck on it so I tried brushing it with a broom. No luck, still blurry. Haven’t gotten anyone to check it for me yet, but I’m hoping it can be resolved. Some other reviewer mentioned a customer service number, I’ll try reaching out to someone. Other than that this was a really great purchase. I would recommend. If I do have to purchase again I’ll get one with more or replaceable cameras so I can switch out. Will update later when I speak with CS.
**UPDATE**
Well let me just say that customer service ([email protected]) has been nothing but great with the quick response about the issue I had with the camera. Correspondence started on the 24th of November, and by 13th of December I received the replacement. Posted a new picture to show update. Install was super easy, disconnect old camera, mount new one, connect wires, tighten and DONE! Updated to 5 stars.
I purchased this security system in February and barely installed today in August. Install and setup was easy. Lots of options and the app via Android works great! I had a compatibility issue with my hdmi with this and opted to use vga connection for now. Contacted customer service via the email provided and they got back to me very quickly which is very reassuring. I highly recommend anyone looking for an affordable solution for video security to check out this system. So far so good.

It was easy to set up & use. Dome cameras are a great design for outside cameras, as the are secure & harder to knock out of position. They have great clear day & night time vision picture quality. I highly recommend buying Sansco products, especially this CCTV system with pre-installed hard drive & dome cameras.

Great little system for the price easy to set up and easy to use
Good product. A bit daunting when you open the box and see all the cables, but take a moment lay them out, look at the diagram and you will see it is actually very easy to put together. Camera casing is robust metal which was nice to see. You will have to drill a large sized hole through your wall though, probably around 2cm in diameter. This is to be able to fit the connections through. Picture quality is very good, night vision is good enough but only at about 4 meters! Setup very straightforward ( no disc needed ) and reviewing footage pretty easy.
Definitely recommend this product if you are on a budget. You are just not going to get this quality for much less.
Update: lost color in 3 out of 4 cameras after only less than 2 weeks of use. Let’s see what else happens.
I have had these camera 2 years and when had a problem after 2 years this company got me back up and running for free. There is no better cameras nor customer service. Look at others that cost more and they will not hold up to weather. These cameras went through Hurricane Michael October 2018 right in the eye of the storm and continued to work without a hitch. Now that is durable. I will always use Sansco because of quality and customer service. Hurry buy them now. When people find out how great these are will not be able to keep them in stock. THank you Sansco for great camera and outstanding, superb customer service.
So my husband decided to contact SANSCO directly and explain what was going on with the system. Xai from SANSCO had him try a few things and when nothing helped , Xai is sending us a new camera at no cost to us. We purchased our system in January 2018 and it has a manufacturers warranty of 1 year. SANSCO would rather have satisfied customers than bad reviews. We also purchased a system for our son and he has had no problems with his system. Our daughter and her husband are getting a SANSCO Security Camera System for their house after they heard about SANSCO customer service how they go above and beyond to help their customers. If you are in the market for a security camera system, SANSCO has a great product and the best customer service in our opinion.
The customer service and quality of this product is amazing!! I had purchased the pro cctv and I have not been disappointed yet. The cords are plenty long enough to reach anywhere you need from the receiving box! The picture is amazing on any tv. The app has an okay picture its probably depending on the phone honestly, but the moving around and trying to switch between cameras and check certain times and back up a certain time if you need to is amazingly easy!! If you want a great quality product that is affordable and easy setup and use then I will always recommend this!!
Had zero issues with it in almost a year except for forgetting the password but the sansco Facebook support helped solve it in half an hour ( would have been minutes but box developed another fault due to my own doing ). Highly recommend, wont get a better picture quality for this price anyway. Mobile app also works great and is extremely handy to have when out the house

Well impressed with this bit of kit, does what it says on the box, easy to install, app works fine too. I bought 2 of these for 2 seperate sites and the app can deliver viewing of both sites and cameras. Amazing!!
This worked great, for 8 months. I bought this for a coworker. She said it worked great. Then this past weekend it started popping and fizzing and the box doesn’t work anymore. The system is supposed to have a 1 year warranty, but she lost the paperwork, so I told her I would try to get a hold of the company. So after contacting customer service, they worked with us to trouble shoot the issue, and are sending out a new unit. Customer service has been pretty good
Pleased with the item overall… if your a bit tech savvy you can set it up without reading instructions as the connections are fairly straight forward but the on screen menus once everything is connected and the box booted up do need better instructions to follow. Slight downside that the instructions are on a cd too – I was installing this for a family member who is elderly and doesn’t own a computer… And as a lot of modern computers now don’t have CD facility so use Internet/usb/ flash drives to connect and download info (maybe supply a link to online instructions that can be read from a mobile device and/or usb stick instead of CD would be more benefit for the installer).
Once the system is up and running it’s doing it’s job well. Looking over the property, both the cameras’ reach and angle of vision is very good, each camera covering a 10x10mtr front and back garden with full coverage. Night vision is a bit blurred but no worse than the system I have at home which cost more….
Unfortunately the item did arrive with one problem…. One of the CCTV cameras is faulty and stuck in night mode (even during the day hours). Not a big deal I suppose as recording quality is still acceptable but it’s more of an annoyance that part of the system is broken than anything else. However, I contacted the seller whom offered to replace the faulty item without any further enquiries, so it is very pleasing to know that I won’t have to disassemble everything to repack it and return the whole kit to the seller for a full replacement.
Overall a good budget system easy to setup and my elderly relative (who does not now how to work anything technical or a PC ) seems comfortable using without getting confused or making a mistake.
Probably would have given the review 5stars if one of the cameras wasn’t faulty and wasted hours trying to troubleshoot the fault. Seller offering to replace faulty items urgently is a bonus.

Overall this CCTV System is a good system, excellent picture quality night and day, easy to fit and install and does everything for you so no need to worry. Had one issue with one camera, being faulty but the service from the technical support and management team is outstanding and always willing to help you and go the extra mile. Couldn’t recommend this system/brand anymore. If you are thinking of upping your security but at a reasonable price, this system is worth considering.

I wanted a camera to show me exactly who is stealing my gas every week. This IS such a camera. I have zero wifi but it records and plays back and you can use a stick to give images to police. I only needed one camera but I’m sure I’ll use the others too. This set up is perfect for me. At 56 and with no computer and with medical issues and as a caretaker of my disabled, 72 year old spouse I hooked it up by myself just with what was in the box, a drill and an hdmi cable that I had at home. Easy if you have common skills and sense.

This is a great cctv set for the DIY kind of person. The picture is good quality, and the support for setting it up is good too.
I was having trouble getting the app. up and running, so I called the number on the back of the instruction manual, and I was ready to go in about 15 mins. Very pleased with the product.
I ended up losing a screw that allows me to adjust the position of the camera. I contacted support and they responded within minutes offering to send me a new one. I was really impressed as many other purchases I’ve made, it took days for a response.
If you’re looking for a pretty good quality system at a really great price, 100% recommend this product. It has so far met my needs entirely. I’ll update in a few months with how things are going. A+ product and A+ company!

The picture quality on these cameras is excellent! My advice to anyone is to set them up indoors and try them before you run the wires and install them….that was my first mistake! This will give you time to review the software and make sure things are what you expected and running well. There is no phone support for these cameras however, the email support was excellent and the response was very quick. Unfortunately after owning these for two weeks I had issues with the DVR and the cameras and I contacted tech support. They were excellent in offering me resolutions and a swap out of the equipment. That is a company that stands behind the products that they make. Through my research of security cameras many people complained that they were not able to receive tech support and even if it was email the response was slow. That was not so with this company….they will work with you to make sure you are happy with the products they provide. Unfortunately I received a product that was faulty, this happens, but the important part is that I was working with a company that stood behind their product and interested in a happy consumer!
I chose this system based off of the positive reviews (particularly one reviewer who had done extensive research comparing this system and the other best rated wired security system on Amazon). The set up was pretty easy! Even without the full instructions (I had no way to play the included disc), the whole thing was pretty self explanatory and I had this thing running in no time.
After one night’s use we did run into a little incident. It seemed that one of the power adapters was defective so the DVR stopped working. I contacted the customer service email listed on the pamphlet that comes with the cameras, and received a response the same day! They were extremely helpful, answering all of my questions in detail and responding very quickly. I had a new adapter sent to replace the defective one and things have been running smoothly so far!
I have yet to set up the other three cameras but I am confident that even if I were to run into a problem, their customer service agents would help me fix things in no time!
Update 2023: I bought this system in 2019, and all 4 cameras have been working splendidly through 2023! Customer service continues to be stellar and prompt! I can’t thank Sansco enough for making a system like this that gives me peace of mind my family is safe.
Had an old DVR that broke so I was after a replacement. Saw this and thought that for the price with two cameras was worth a punt. Unplugged the old one and plugged the new one in, it fired up with the old cameras no problems. Thought that I would try the new cameras and they are even better than the old ones. Great system almost silent compared to my old one. Very good for the price just a shame that they didn’t send me the dome ones
I’ve currently got 3 out of 4 cameras connected and they work well for standard stationary cameras. Good resolution, decent night vision. Im saving the 4th slot for a PTZ camera to put in a location I would like to setup auto monitoring using the DVR. I’ve not yet hooked up any speakers or mics to the audio, nor have I configured this unit to send me email alerts, but I do have the instructions which I’ve received from Eileen at Sansco customer support. FYI – she is VERY helpful. The few times Ive had questions for her, she’s gotten back to me within one business day.
For those who may want to paint their cameras, I sprayed two of them with white primer then a couple layers of topcoat. I just used painters tape to cover the glass. Worked fine.

Excellent bit of kit only problem I’ve found after a few weeks of working is that 1 of the USB ports don’t work.But the main workings are very good
I didn’t have any luck with the local setup on the iOS app. I was able to add my DVR and see it as a device, but I couldn’t see any connected cameras on the app (even though I could see them on my TV, which was connected via HDMI), and tapping my device gave me “Unknown error[-100000].”
For some reason, once I made an xmeye account using my PC (at Eileen’s suggestion) and did the cloud login on the app, my cameras showed up and I could view them on the app with no problems.
This was while my iPhone was connected via WiFi to the same network that the camera DVR was hardwired to. As a test, I tried switching the phone to LTE and all of a sudden I couldn’t see the cameras anymore. This would have made remote viewing impossible, so after a little research I realized that T-Mobile (my phone carrier) doesn’t use IPv4 anymore. I went into my router settings and turned on IPv6, and then I could view all of the cameras again.
There’s a very slight delay in the feed when remote viewing, but that’s to be expected. I was impressed by the video quality. The app has a few quirks, like making you manually switch from SD quality to HD quality every time you switch cameras, but whatever. I can live with that. You also can’t view all four cameras at once in HD, only SD. But again, not a deal-breaker for my application.
I had less luck using the web-based viewer on xmeye.net. Some investigation (and Eileen again, helpfully) indicated that I needed to use Internet Explorer (which you can find at “C:Program Files (x86)Internet Exploreriexplore.exe” on a Win10 system, by the way) to avoid getting stuck in an ActiveX plugin download loop, but even when I used that and clicked on my device, it would try to connect for about 30 seconds then throw up the grammatically painful error message: “query the server list time out.” I don’t know if the site was temporarily down or what.
If all you want to do is view the camera feeds on a PC that’s on the same network as the DVR (i.e., not “remotely”), however, you actually don’t need xmeye at all. I unearthed a standalone program called CMS in my research, and it works well with these cameras. Google “CMS annke” to find an article with setup instructions.
Once I installed the CMS program, I was able to add my device and view all four cameras in real-time. CMS is a lot less janky than the xmeye website, too, so that’s a plus.
So all in all, I’m satisfied with these cameras. For this price I don’t think you will find another offering that has four 1080p cameras with decent night vision and remote viewing on an app. Or at least I didn’t when I was looking. I wouldn’t recommend these to someone who gets easily frustrated when having to troubleshoot or wade through buggy software, but maybe the above information would be useful to some. And the customer support was very fast in responding to me, offering useful suggestions rather than the canned responses we often get from companies nowadays.
One final note: I’m using these baluns with separately purchased 100-foot Cat6 cables instead of the included BNC cables to connect the cameras to the DVR, so I can’t vouch for the quality of the ones that come with it. These are working great though.

The picture quality in the HD mode is very good and the night vision works fairly well. Programming the system is OK, however getting through it once without having to go back to redo something is likely rare. Instructions are fair and have a few mistakes here and there.
The cables are fair, but they work. Be careful running them through tight spaces. Get yourself better screws to mount the cameras.
Overall, it works and time will tell how long it lasts before any issues arise. If there are no issues, it will be considered a good buy.
Very easy to set up and its great to be able to monitor using iphone although it can sometimes be a bit hit and miss.
My camera misted up due to water ingress but Sansco were great and sent a replacement VERY fast.
Great little security camera system. Mine came with one bad cable but they were quite responsive with support over a weekend on their facebook page and we worked out a replacement. One tip with systems like this: set up everything in your house on the floor first and make sure all is good before you go running through your attic with cables, that way you can save some work. We set up the monitor and DVR in our hall closet, and I also installed the iOS app. No problems with either of those. The app (XMEye) is simple but works well, and it’s free.
Night vision is good and the daytime image seems sharp enough too.
This is a good system for anyone looking for a simple way to monitor their home.
I emailed the address above and Janet from SANSCO replied within minutes and verified my order and said she could provide me with a replacement camera. This is great because I didn’t want to return it just to purchase it again. It’s one less step I have to do.
Now for the actual product. I plugged in the system to my monitor and the picture was pretty good except one camera was malfunctioning. The set up was pretty easy. I did this at night and so it had color with the lights on and it was black and white with the lights off. When it is dark, the cameras have LED lights that shine so you can see during night time. Good product for the price and great customer service. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Brilliant ! My PC broke down that i used to use a security system with my wired camera, i replaced it within minutes with this item, and can easily view live and recorded footage on my phone . Have had it up and running for a few months no , absolutely no issues .
I have neighbors who think that because I am home during the day (I have a home office), they can come over to borrow my phone or borrow a few dollars for gas, etc. I just leave the television on the camera view so I know if I need to get up and answer the door 😉
I’ve had the system for about 1 month and I really like it. It was easy to get app working on iPhone.
I did have one issue with the software on the DVR, in terms of setup. It was mostly trial and error and
I think I got settings out of whack. Biggest problem was with HDD setting. I sent a email to Customer
Service and got a response next day. I was instructed how to do a reset. I enquired about a user
manual to avoid this problem again. I was given a link to several pdf files of associated manuals.
One more thing about the this particular camera. Compared to another system I purchased from
a different seller, the Sansco cameras blew them away in terms of vivid color and night vision.
February 2020-I am still using this camera system and has not given me any trouble! Impressive indeed considering the extreme Texas weather!

Cameras were easy to set up, and I especially like the xmeye app. It’s available for Android and iPhones and allows you to remotely access your cameras if you hook dvr up to your router. Whenever I’m away from home I have 3 additional friends’ eyes on my property through the xmeye app.
I’m glad I went with these cameras and not some of the more expensive ones as this one does everything I need and does it well.

For the money you really can’t find much to grumble about. Some have said they found the customer support to be not great but in my case it was excellent. The initial cameras I received were faulty and the IR night vision did not work. Within 2 days I had got replacements sent out which having now plugged in work excellent. One thing I would say is that it is 100% worth upgrading the supplied camera coax and power cables to a better quality as the difference in video resolution is amazing. The DVR is as described plug and play, easy to navigate menus. The setting up of the app for remote viewing took some fiddling about with as like many have described the instructions are terrible. Once this is done though you have a great value for money system.

This kit provides an easy to set up system for a diy’er, after the initial agro of running cables and locating the camera’s the set up was very straight forward. I havent trued the remote viewing but everything else is working brilliantly with only a few minutes of set up.
I bought this as an eventual cctv system for my home.
Initially I thought the system was broken but realised I was connecting the cameras power cable to the audio input to dvr, this resulted in no images being displayed.
I emailed the vendor and they were more than happy to assist me with this problem. I realised my mistake ando went further in unpacking the cctv and setting up.
This system is a little hard to get used to considering the user manual supplied is fairay sparse and just informs on how to set up Internet streaming of the device. Which was not what I bought mine for but would presume it works given the right setup.
After a couple of attempts to setup the system over the course of two days I have now managed to set the cctv to my needs. That is motion detection recording and I’ve now come to terms with the reviewing and playback.
It has other features on it such as alarm, email alert and others but did not sus them out and felt that I didn’t need them for my purpose, and was happy with the standard continuous and motion detection recording for my system.
I’m happy with the cctv and the price and also the service from the vendor.
This is a good value system which was relatively easy to set up and get working.

good pictures day and night good length in vision solid cameras one is 3.6 mm and one 6mm , boxed well, all items intact i nstructions useless, but easy enough to figure out plenty of cable with both cameras quality product , i just cant figure out how to take video of hard drive put onto usb stick whatever, doesnt tell you anywhere , havent used online phone app yet not connected to router so cant comment on that , but it says it hads the facility to view worldwide on the web .
I bought this product on recommendation of a professional security company. Although I am no expert,it was easy to install and operate and gives brilliant results on monitor, tablet and mobile phone. I can thoroughly recommend this product.
Would be 5 star if they offered a wider range in lenses, 2.8mm to 12mm and ask the customer what lenses they would like in the package deal then I would definitely give 5stars
The kit that I bought came with two dome cameras, one at 3.6mm and one at 6mm lens. I prefer to use dome cameras as they a lot more vandal proof and less intrusive within the environment. The 3.6 mm lens gives you a wide view but with lower definition which allows you to cover a large area and the 6mm lens gives you a narrow view but with higher definition i.e. the 6mm lens can be thought as a fixed zoom lens that will allow you to view greater distances. There is a sticker on each of the cameras at the rear that tells you what kind of lens they are to avoid confusion.
The image quality is very good especially the night view vision, Like I said I’ve fitted devices that cost allot more than these in the past but don’t perform as good as these on night vision.
The DVR comes with a fitted 1TB hard drive that will give you about two weeks of recorded footage if the DVR is set on continues record. This can be increased by upgrading the hard drive or setting the DVR to record only on motion detect or scheduled recording periods. The DVR comes factory set to overwrite the old data once the hard drive becomes full.
The set up for standalone viewing and recording is very straight forward; however I did have some issues when trying to view the cameras via 3G or over the internet. The issue itself was with the Smartphone APP that the instruction tells you to use and not the DVR itself.
The instruction advice you to use the APP “XMEYE” but I had difficulties viewing the cameras over the internet but it would work fine on WiFi, which isn’t much use.
However the DVR vendor does offers very good after sales technical support and this issue was resolved very quickly by using a different smart phone APP “vMEyeSuper”.
As far as I know the “XMEYE” APP stopped working after a software upgrade, which tends to happen with quite a few APPS.
There is an ID tab in the device details menu in “vMEyeSuper” at the bottom that allows you to enter the serial number of you DVR, which will then mean that you can view your cameras on 3G or over the internet. This worked allot better for me.
Overall I am very happy with this product so far for the price I paid.
It is easy to install and has very good clear picture I am happy with the CCTV. It was delivered in two days.
I am very happy with this security camera kit. Comes with everything you need and is very easy to set up. All you need to do is plug everything together and power it up The images are very clear and the DVR is easy to use.

I was extremely surprised at how clear the images are in daylight. Night vision is pretty good too.
The DVR software is reasonably OK to figure out by pressing various buttons to figure it all out.
Overall, very impressed for the price.
Easy to set up, long cables for cameras and good quality picture even on night vision. Good value, would give five stars if I could have audio for this price.
I brought these as we have had a couple of house’s broken into. I can’t fault them the instructions need to be more clearer. The only problem I am having is getting email alerts but over all very good
