Overall very happy with the build. It’s nice to have space for 12 watches on display with the drawer below for miscellaneous extra links, some bracelets/necklaces,. Perfect setup for a guy like me who loves watches, but doesnt really have much other jewelry.
The pillows hold the watches (sized for my 7″ wrist) fairly snug… not a complaint, but you’ll probably have to keep your bracelets unclasped if your wrist is at all smaller than mine–which means they may not sit perfectly forward-facing
**UPDATE 05/09/2024: Soon after the initial review, Rothwell contacted me and offered some options to make up for the inconvenience. I prefer the products being right the first time, but they deserve 2 more starts for the Superb customer service and for backing up their product. I would buy from them again w/o hesitation.
I was very reluctant about spending almost $145 (tax included) for a watch box but as I plan on getting several nice watch pieces, I pulled the trigger. I was dissapointed that it came with several scuffs on the corners and that the lock mechanism broke on the first use. I searched and found several other reviews with the same problems, which calls for poor QC. I will probably get the 20 slot one and give them another try as I love the looks and the materials used. I just expected a better finish and QC for a $145 box. I will keep it as I have no time and would probably cost me more taking time off to deal with a return.

Recently needed a watch roll and since I loved this product I came straight to Rothwell found same design watch roll. It came in and did not disappoint matched perfectly. So happy with these products that I decided to write a review on both. I never write reviews btw. Cheap enough that it wont break the bank but quality seems like a high end piece. No complaints, item arrived as described without any defects. Sure, there are better similar items if you’re willing to spend +700 (which I’m personally not). This case is excellent value for the price.
UPDATE: The seller reached out and wanted to make things right with the product. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied and insisted on sending me a new watch box. The replacement was in great condition and very sturdy. I appreciate their willingness to go out of their way to assure I had a good experience with their product. High recommend doing business with them.
The watch box is very nice and is heavier than expected. The color looks amazing in Mocha. The key hole locking is a bit stiff when turning which isn’t really too big of an issue for me. However, what is an issue is that the locking metal bar fell of the first time I locked the box. Essentially cannot be locked as the screw stripped out the sides of the inside of the top lid where it locks. I expected more for the price point. If it wasn’t for this then I would rate the box 5 stars.

On se laisse ensuite impressionner par sa grande taille et son esthtisme! On peut y mettre un grand nombre de montre, le compartiment bijoux est assez spacieux mais vient vite se remplir si comme moi vous en avez plein. voir dans le temps si cela tiens, mais pour le moment je suis content de cette bote malgr sont prix lev! La caja viene muy bien presentada y protegida dentro de una caja negra de cartn con el logotipo de la marca.En el caso de mi caja los acabados son excelentes por el precio,y he repasado todas las costuras y pegados,el delizar del cajn y la bisagra y la cerradura de la caja.Adems las almohadillas encajan a la perfeccin,tienen un tamao perfecto y hay una buena separacin entre ellas de manera que los relojes quedan bien sujetos y separados.Cinco estrellas bien merecidas por mi parte,recomiendo totalmente su compra.

I shopped around for a high quality watch box for weeks until I decided on this one. This is way better than I expected and I highly recommend it.
Pros: feels pretty solid/well made for the price, plenty of room between watches, glass window, drawer for keys, watch bands, cloths, etc, leather feels nice to touch.
Cons: drawer handle a little crooked, one corner of the glass window sloppy finish can see piece of cardboard/wood, would be nice if drawer was deeper/bigger.
Overall, for the price I’m happy with the purchase. It’s not perfect, but I think it was better than the other options around this price point.
Better than expected. Some other reviews mentioned quality problems, but mine is fine. The lock turns anti clockwise to lock, which may have caught some people out. The top IS glass, some have said it’s plastic but I can confirm it is definitely glass.

The box feels nice and heavy, the materials used all look and feel good and I love the black and red colour scheme. I personally haven’t experienced any of the issues that have been mentioned, no issues with scratches or stitching and the lock mechanism works (not that I’m ever going to use it).
Is it good value for money? I have no idea, I don’t know how much it cost to make and I’ve never owned any other watch box so I have nothing to compare it to. But I do know I’m very happy with it.
The quality of this piece was considerably better than I expected. Glad I did not spring for a more expensive watch case. The fit and finish are excellent. And the watch pillows work well. No rough spots.The pillows are sized for a man’s wrist but I had no trouble tucking my wife’s watch bands under the pillows and using them to support her watches as well. Plenty of room.

My wife looked at this expensive looking case and starting fussing at me for spending too much money on it. After pointing out all the quality stitching and how well fit all the parts were put together, I asked her to guess how much it cost. She guessed $300-400!!!! Needless to say, I wasn’t in trouble any more when I told her the actual price was under $150. It really is a very sharp and quality built box, and the faux leather looks and feels like genuine leather too.
I got this for my son for fathers day as he is a watch collector of sorts. He loved it. Super great gift.
After reading some of the reviews about issues with their own boxes, I finally decided to take a chance on one just because I loved the look of it so much, and I’m glad I did. The box looks amazing in person, and it feels heavy and sturdy. The hinge is the weak point, as some have mentioned – it feels like it will close shut sometimes, so just be careful with it.

This was a bit larger than i expected, but it does look very nice when filled with a watch collection.
It has drawers, they’re useful for a couple of rings or cuff-links, a few watchbands can fit in as well

Some mentioned case came damaged or quality control was poor but mine came well packaged and in perfect condition. Everything works as it should. Quality feels good and looks great. It’s a large box. I like the space between watches, especially larger ones where they don’t touch. Keeps watches well protected and the drawer underneath is great for my extra bands and tools.
Honestly love the look of the watch box but is a little expensive for how cheap it’s put together, if you want a locking watch box this is not it the piece that locks the glass into place fell out first time I took it out of the box, if you don’t mind it not locking it still looks very good

I didn’t want to buy something as expensive as this, but it completely fit my criteria:
* Must hold all my watches, including those over 50mm
* Must have a valet drawer for rings and bracelets.
Couldn’t be happier. This luxurious case is heavy, sturdy, well constructed and looks awesome. Even the box it came in was higher end. The glass top is large (wide) enough so I can view all my timepieces together at one glance. Two thumbs up. I highly recommend this product.
Most of my watches are 45-52mm, which has made finding a display case tough. In most cases, the watches would touch, and usually would have a hard time closing the case without it hitting the watches. Not with this one. It’s large, with plenty of room between watches. Sturdy build, though I wish the bottom drawer was on a track.
If you’ve got large watches, this is your display case. I’ve been through enough duds to know. It’s a little pricier than most, but it’s worth it, IMO.
I got this for a gift for my boyfriend who loves watches and he was amazed at the quality of this watch box. It is so classy on top of a dresser or shelf. Great box! Regardless of price I could not be happier. Great quality. Plenty of room for big watches. I’m not an invicta guy but there is plenty of room for them. For reference the watch in the bottom right is a 50mm. The drawer is HUGE and is very quality. The finish on the exterior is quality. Great fit and finish. Would definitely recommend. Watch collection was growing and I gave my 6 place to my son. Very happy with my purchase.
Just received my 2nd Rothwell watch case. Loved the 1st one because it held my larger watches easily. I filled that case and needed another so I got this one to hold watches and more! You will like this as much as I do to display and hold your watches securely. It was a lil more than the other ones here on Amazon, BUT, it was well worth the difference!!!!!!
This is the 3rd watch box I have filled and out of the 3 boxes I own this is by far the best. Worth every penny. I will be buying all my watch boxes from this brand moving forward as I truly belive you get more than what you pay for in quality out of this watch case.
I purchased this to replace an older case that was too narrow for my collection. Most of my collection is in the 45-47mm range, but the Emergency II (top row, right side) is a whopping 51mm. As you can see, there is still enough room for other watches to flank it on either side without them touching.
The quality is very good and the valet drawer is a great spot for my extra watch straps and bracelets.
This company is top notch. This product not only came on time, but is definitely made of good quality and style. I did have a very small issue with pin in the lid, but that was handle the same day! This company believes in their product and has great product knowledge. I will be ordering through them again.

Came in a nice cardboard box, had a dent and a crack but lucky that the actual box inside was intact.
Watches are well spaced this means that there is no touching or scratching like other boxes I had.
Watch pads are tight, you can turn the box upside down and they will stay put, overal quality and finish very good only there is only 1 key and no spare given with the box.
Also valet compartment is big enough to store additional tools, straps, warranty cards etc…
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. My only concern was that the corners weren’t shaped like a rectangle – yet I saw the practicality of it. I kept in mind it was returnable and he loved it. the drawer was a selling point for sure and if you are wondering yes the lock and key work!
This is a very nice & classy looking watch box. The PU leather is applied perfectly, and has a plush feel. The glass lid creates an excellent window display for my collection. The watch cushions are the perfect size & the slots are large enough to hold my widest watches. The drawer is large enough to hold extra watches, jewelry, spare bands, and pocket knives. Amazon could do a better job padding the shipping box, or using one more appropriately sized.

Okay so first things first. I purchased one of these early February and it came with a broken drawer handle. I requested a replacement encause honestly I usually have bad luck with having things shipped. I was initially upset about the situation and was reached out to by Justin from Rothwell. I explained what had happened and exchanged pictures showing what had happened. The second box came in and it was in great shape. The weight of the box and materials are very nice for the price point. One thing I LOVE is that the pillows do not move or shake around when the watches are in. The suede like material is very soft and the drawer is big enough to hold bracelets or watch tools. The customer service from them was amazing and they situated everything that had gone wrong swiftly.

Yes, its $100 but if you have thousands of dollars wrapped up in a collection of a dozen or less watches like I do, then spending $100 to keep them beautifully and safely stored should be a non-issue.
I wear larger watches of 46mm and up and having the thicker leather padded borders between the watches is a huge plus!
This keeps the crowns (and or pushers) from touching the next watch over.
As an extra bonus, the drawer underneath holds all my extra straps and some tools.
The materials used are of high quality and laid into their respective areas perfectly.

I ordered this watch box to store my watch collection and paid around $150cad. I was Impressed with the quality of the box all the trim is clean and there are no glue marks or rough edges, alignment on the hinges is great. The case gives the watches lots of space between each other. The bottom drawer is also very long. Perfect for storing sunglasses, knives, necklaces and extra watch straps.
The box appears to be well made. The window in the lid is plastic, not glass. My only complaint is that the lid does not open far enough to remain open on its own. There is a leather cover over the hinge. Perhaps as that stretches with use the lid will open farther and remain open without holding with my hand.
had a couple of snafus with one and the exchanged one. I do not think this is a company flaw. This is a knack I have for getting the defective item in all things. Just was a lucky 2020 thing that it happened 2x. However I am overall happy with the product and the company is incredible. I emailed them directly with my issues and they were quick to help. Very responsive and gave me a few options on how to proceed and all of them equaled me winning in the end. I have my husband this box for his 40th bday and told him about the issues and what the options are to make it right. He absolutely LOVES it and already started moving his stuff over before I could even blink. He was even taking pictures and showing it off to his friend. Anyway, great product, great company. I bought 2 of these cases. One for me and one as a gift and we were blown away by both cases. The quality of the materials are outstanding and the fit and finish is great. I bought this product for my husband in December 2019 for Christmas, he loves it! The watch box exceeded my expectations! I was nervous about the color combination, which is very nice in person. This box looks better than how the picture portrays it. The box is made of quality materials and the construction is very solid. The watch areas are roomy enough for large watches and love the addition of a drawer. Very nice product! My husband lost the keys somehow and customer support at this company was excellent. The contrast of the deep red and black leather is a great sight! Definitely the best looking watch case I’ve ever seen. The suede interior is a much better choice than faux leather and will probably last longer too. The space between each watch spot is very nice too. It leaves room to truly admire each watch you own and for those checking them out. The drawer is rather spacious too. I have several different items in there with room for more. Overall, the best part is the price. At $80, it is definitely worth it! Don’t even think twice if you like to display your watches and keep them organized. It’s a pretty huge solid watch box. Well made and feels nice. I don’t know much about watches but it looks like it’ll fit watches of larger sizes as well. Really versatile for small jewellery, etc. as it has a valet drawer.
I got this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend for his growing watch collection! Just wished the locking mechanism actually worked. I using the key to lock/unlock the box, but it just doesn’t seem to work. Besides the locking mechanism issue, it’s a perfect watch box at this price point.
first impression is ok, it is a good box. the quality is reasonable to consider its price but way better than some cheap counterparts. Details are average, front lock glue is loosened, some overlapping bumps of pu leather. it is a big box bear in mind.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the heft and quality of this watch box. The first hint was the box that contained the watch box was actually nice, too… not some cheap cardboard container. The watch box feels very solid and far more expensive than the actual price. The slots for the watches are LARGE. And, the height of the glass top is very good, so the big watches in fashion today will easily fit in terms of both width and height. No worries about the glass lid impacting a thick watch inside when you close it.
The lining is smooth and soft. Whether you collect Casios, or Rolexes and Omegas, this watch box is worthy of the job. The fit and finish… the way the lid opens, closes, and lines up with the box… is superb. I’m truly surprised at the quality for the price.
The “bang for the buck” is very high with this watch box. I can highly recommend it. When my watch collection grows beyond 12, I’ll get another one!
This is a very well made box!! Easily fits all my watches and the valet makes for more storage! My only complaint is that when I received this box the lock was broken 🙁 Easily a 5 star review had the lock not been broke. Other than that I love the box!

Received my box and the locking pin was sitting inside of the locking mechanism. Looks like someone drilled the hole too big. The only way I will be able to lock my box is if I glue into the hole. But the case looks good.
Update: The company reached out to me about my issue and offered to fully replace the unit or give me 50% back and help with putting the pin back into place. Awesome costumer service.
I’m very impressed with the quality of this box, especially for the price. The key is included so the lock is actually functional. I love being able to look at how pretty my watches are without having to put them back in their original boxes. My only complaints, and they are minor, is I wish the spacing between watches was a little wider to prevent the larger ones from potentially touching each other, and I wish the watch pillows were a bit smaller or adjustable. They’re larger than my wrist, so I can’t really put my watch with a metal band on the provided pillows.
99% of the watch boxes out there have compartments that are too dang small. Every watch that’s not made for a child bangs together in these other boxes like big brass ones on a long distance runner. Nos so with the VALR Watch Box. It’s obvious to see that someone who loves watches designed this thing. Plenty of room between watches, even those big, gaudy Invicta numbers. Fit and finish is very good. Nice weight, solid materials. I know… it sounds a little pricey. Especially when you can get another 12 slot box for $15. DON’T BUY ANOTHER BOX! This is the one. As an avid watch collector, I can say this is a great quality case ! Love the spacing between the pillows, it’s great to have a box where the watches will not touch each other in the case . The color is of the interior is nice and the pillows are good quality too. All of my watches fit nicely .
Also, the drawer serves a great utility function , I put my extra straps/bracelets , watch tools, pins , and other watch related items in there . It is compartmentalized too which is a plus in my opinion.
Lastly, the watch case glass stays up when you open it! It doesn’t close or slam shut easily, which was a big pet peeve from other boxes I’ve owned .
Will definitely order more of these in the future.

This box screams high quality and is actually bigger than I thought it would be. This is definitely a man’s watch box. As pleased as I was with the craftsmanship, similar to other reviewers here, mine arrived with the lock completely broken. The locking pin had simply fallen out and was floating around in the box upon arrival. No way to fix it that I can tell. Very poor quality control.
I bought this as a replacement for a Wolf Windsor that broke after a few days. It was around half the price of the Wolf, better made and comfortably holds 12 watches rather than 10. I only wish it came in a brown option as well as the black.

More value for the money than the last watch box I purchased. The previous box I bought was high quality but cost for times this one, and only held 8 watches. This one is high quality and low cost. You won’t think you got a cheap product with this purchase. It holds 12 watches on top.

04-2021 Update: However, the only flaw I’ve found with this unit is the cheap lock pin in the top lid. It will break and then you will be upset.
I don’t recommend buying this one because of that, but so far, I do not have a better recommendation. I haven’t found a better unit on Amazon and I do not know of a better one period. It’s great until the pin breaks. If I find a better one, I’ll come back and update this. So if you need to buy one from Amazon, this one is great until the pin breaks. But look for one with a more robust pin setting.
So far, this is a solid buy! If anything changes over time, I will return with an update.
