Overseas journey used as checked in luggage From Tampa to Vienna, about 50 pounds heavy, apart getting slightly souled, arrived with no chafe no scars cut or else, nice and dry content considering the winter , was noticed by several fellow travelers, very visible and good material, well built with plenty of stars down to secure the content inside that arrived dry and in the same place I packed !!! Definitively a must have, easy to carry around with the shoulder or across chest strap! Come compete with tie town for motorcycle journey that I will take in spring and summer time , very good buy

    Trotzdem: klare Empfehlung!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was hesitant to buy this sight unseen (due to Amazon being overrun with mostly cheap imported crap these days). I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and roominess.
Bought this for putting a bunch of sleeping bags and gear on the roof of our car for a camping trip.
As luck would have it, there was a heavy downpour on the drive back . Everything inside remained perfectly dry. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but so far so good.

Excellent quality for the price paid.
Very functional and all features have been well considered.
The weight of the bag is around 2kg due to the high density material.
The 66l capacity bag is an ideal size – larger than an overnight bag and roomy enough for at least 1 weeks worth of clothes etc. The air-release valve helps to compress the bag further.
I purchased this as an all-weather travel duffel for my son which will also be used as a motorcycle bag for my husband.

I purchased this 40L duffle bag for a recent ride last minute since I couldn’t get custom saddle bags for my Moto Guzzi in time. The duffle bag was great and fit with the Wildheart saddle bags, although the yellows were slightly different. Not a big deal. Stayed dry during rain too. Would purchase again if I ever needed more.

My wife and I strapped one of these bags to each of our motorcycles and found them to be great bags for long distance motorcycle rides. Not only did they keep our gear dry in pouring rain; but, the provided a functional backrest when strapped to the passenger seat for highway touring.

Worked great, included straps are very helpful for mounting and provide a lot of options. Held up with no problems at all on a 1,000 mile trip were it ended up constantly raining.

Just arrived so need to do some trips with it but straps and all the bits were there and it appears well made. The only disappointing thing is the 66 litre does not have a reinforced base which it stated in the advertised.

I paid the extra over the cost of a similar but cheaper bag for this reason. Feel a little cheated but we will see how it holds up on Scout camp and a week in a canoe in Scotland. I’ll update the review after this.

Bought two of these for a roadtrip to France in my Toyota MR2. These bags came with strips to clip directly to the back or elastic for other stuff. Such a joy to clip and release and you can roll/ squeeze the air out to compress it. Very very good. Tough product even in the 38o heat they were still fine.

Brilliant bag and quick to attach / release

This is a good bag. It’s sturdy, voluminous, and functional. It was easy to mount this on my Triumph Street triple R, but it does scratch your bodywork if it rests on it. I like that the mounting straps are included. It is a large bag that can carry a lot, so be careful not to over pack for your trip.

The only downside (perhaps?) is that the empty bag is quite heavy to begin with. It is a sign of good quality, yes, but the weight adds up in the end and if you don’t pack wisely, you’ll struggle to carry this between your motorcycle and your hotel room.

I purchased this bag last fall in preparation for some motorcycle camping this year. Well, I finally had the opportunity to truly test this bag, and it worked! I rode through 6 hours of heavy pouring rain with this bag strapped to the back of my bike, and at the end of my ride my “waterproof” gloves were soaked through and though, but the contents in this bag were all completely dry! Not a single drop off water in the bag. I’m impressed. I also love the attaching straps with the elastized piece, fantastic for attaching the bag to the bike. In fact, I would like to buy some additional straps if I can find them. I purchased the large size bag.

Great quality. Sturdy, water and wear resistant. I decided to buy a second one. The bag doesn’t have a zip. It’s probably my fault not too have checked the product description before buying it (does it mention that it does not come with a zip, though!?) and I was a bit upset at the beginning. However, the quality is great and the 100L can be easily packed with 20kg of clothes. Great for camping. If you’re planning to use it on a flight, I suggest to get it wrapped at the airport to keep your bag safe from tampering.

Klare Empfehlung!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI generally try to be frugal when it comes to accessorizing my motorcycles. As a result, I usually opt for used stuff from other people or try to find inexpensive versions of name brand products. In this case, I wanted a waterproof duffle that I could put on the back of Royal Enfield Himalayan that added some visibility and utility. My only real criteria were that it be waterproof and that it not cost hundreds of dollars – enter the Wild Heart waterproof duffle.

I ordered the 40L version and really wish I had ordered the larger one, but this one is just big enough for me to stuff my jacket and full face helmet into it when I get to where I am going. As you can see, you can also fit a 15 pound bag of dogfood into it should you so desire (I was going to strap it to my bike, but when I realized it would fit into the duffle and it was raining, I figured why not?). I have had it in the rain and everything has stayed dry inside the bag (see pic with water beads – might have to zoom in a bit). The duffle comes with straps to secure it onto your motorcycle and a few extra straps for expanded storage. A nice touch is that the straps include sewn on hook and loop fasteners on the end which allow you to roll up the slack sand then secure them so they aren’t flapping around in the wind. The bag also includes a handle so that if you want to take the bag off of the bike, you can carry it with you.

I can’t attest to its overall durability in rough riding since I mainly use my bike for commuting and trips with extremely light weight offroad use. The bag seems like it will hold up well enough and I don’t think you can go wrong for the money. I can’t say whether or not it will hold up on safari or in an offroad race, but I think for your average person this is more than sufficient.

    Does what it's supposed to.

I got two of these bags and they sat in a canoe with 1/2 of water at the bottom and wet paddles laying on top. Everything stayed perfectly dry. The bag it tuff and we had it up on the rocky shores and they held up fine. We stuffed them full of close, camera equipment, and other items we did not want to get wet. They close very easily, and when open you have full access to everywhere in the bag which is nice compared to other top open backpack style bags.

Went with this brand in high visibility yellow after reading multiple reviews on them and those on many other similar options. Not disappointed in the least. Quality looks great. Appears to be quality material that is well stitched with welded seams and heavy buckles.

Rather 30-35Lthan 40L. If compared to the SW Motech drybag 350 (35L), it is much smaller. But quality is good, air valve is practical, and it is enough to contain gear and items for one week motorcycle trip: small sleeping bag (no other camping gear, just in case there is no room available and I have to crash somewhere), casual clothes (pair of shoes, 1jeans and 1 t-shirt), underwear for 4 days, 2 warm base layers, light jacket, small tools bag, toiletry bag.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI just took a 1,068 mile round trip to stay on the side of a mountain for four days. I used this big bag to offset the capacity I lost moving from hard panniers to soft panniers. I didn’t want to pack my 80L terraframe to my bike, so this was a good compromise. I stuffed it to the brim with everything essential, and it more than held up to the challenge.

I was particularly happy with the way it handled being knocked around over rocks and other things (missouri cacti, for example) without developing a rip, tear, or leak. The included compression straps work great, but the included mounting straps tend to loosen over a long enough period, causing me to check and recheck them at every stop I made, sometimes re-tightening them slightly. This is not necessarily a knock on them, but I think it’s a small improvement that could be made, swapping the buckles for ones with more aggressive teeth to sink further into the nylon to stop it from sliding out.

I did appreciate the various retro-reflective dots on the bag, it definitely made me feel more visible riding through the night. All in all, I’m glad I bought this, it definitely worked exactly how I wanted it to work.

If you have big shoulders, it won't be useful as a backpack

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe used the on our 6 day paddle trip to keep our cloth and other “valuables” dry. I have a direct comparison to a MEC drybag duffle bag. They are both the same size. This one here comes with a valve that makes it easy to release excess air when closing (with the MEC you need to squeeze the air out before rolling the rim). Furthermore, the straps that you close across the duffle are long enough to easily close them and then compress (the straps on the MEC are rather short and therefore I close them in the most extended setting and have no room to compress).
The material seems very sturdy. What was a bit weird was that when the bag got wet for the first time, the material was quite slippery, so it was harder to roll the rim. (The MEC was not as slippery)
I would definitely buy it again.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI’ve owned an Overboard 40L duffel for over 5 years, but they went up in price by 33% since then. So when it came time to get another waterproof duffel for my gf I decided to try this one out.

First, this 40L duffel’s waterproof tarp is thicker than the Overboard 40L. However, the Overboard bag has a high density nylon fabric that surrounds the middle of the bag to give their thinner tarpaulin more endurance. Personally, I prefer this bag’s thicker tarpaulin.

Second, this waterproof duffel is bright inside. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to fumble around in my black Overboard duffel looking for stuff because it’s hard to find black/dark items in a black bag in dimly lit environments. The bright yellow makes it MUCH easier to locate things.

Third, this bag does not have an outer mesh storage pocket or inner pockets that the Overboard 40L duffel does. It’s not a big deal, but that’s a difference. I never really used the outer or inner pockets anyhow.

Fourth, this bag’s air valve is a godsend. There were so many times when I had to pack my Overboard duffel (which is a multi-step process in itself), then open it all up again, let some air out, and then close everything up… just because I closed the bag up with too much air the first time. With this bag, all you have to do is close the bag up, open the valve to let some air out, twist the valve shut, and you’re done. Super convenient.

Fifth, this bag works best with bungee hooks. The included nylon straps are good, but I can only see them being useful for very long motorcycle rides because they’re a bit of a chore to attach/detach for short rides. However, the included straps are very good. The plastic buckles are very sturdy, the nylon straps themselves are very well made, and they even have some reflective threads woven into the straps themselves.

Overall, this is a solid bag.
The bright yellow with reflectors makes this bag easy to see, but most importantly, easy to see if someone tries to take your bag. The extreme high visibility of this bag makes it less attractive as a target for theft. Buying this bag a no-brainer if you enjoy all-season camping, cottaging, or going on motorcycle trips that last longer than a day.

I was looking for a waterproof bag for use on a sailing kayak and which it was easy to find things quickly due to the large top opening. Most drybags tend to have a small opening and you then you may need to take everything out to find what you are looking for. I use it to store my tent, and sleeping gear. Its also suitable for using on a motorbike. Plenty of ways to secure it to the boat too or carry if necessary.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI purchased 3 of these dry bags, 40L, 66L and 100L.
Well made, the larger two have a reinforced bottom panel. No issues at all. Loaded all my stuff and had no problem securing all 3 to the Ural. Went thru some mud and they got a little dirty but it just wiped off! Exactly what I wanted!

Great duffel bag style dry bags

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersProduct (40L) unit arrived as expected and quickly. Was hoping for this model to also have robust bottom such as larger models, but certainly not a deal breaker. The materials is already heavy duty material the same as Kayaking dry bags. Multiple attachment points and included straps to secure to motorcycle, or in my case snowmobile are very effective. option to add stretchy tiedown portion very useful as well. Reflective markers also appreciated. Great Value! Air release valve very useful to keeping contents dry.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing!! Just what I need for when we go out on our boat. Fully waterproof and even includes a air vent to release any unwanted air. I am super happy with the quality and how fast it came in the post. 5 Stars from me. 🙂
