I got these boots for hiking in Madeira. I wore them once or twice before going and had no issues on holidays. The boots aren’t too heavy and kept my feet warm and dry. Nice support for the ankle. Price point and quality I couldn’t fault.
Most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever had, bought a half size up to my usual size, so comfortable.
Very comfortable and warm. Good for dog walking in our wet woodlands. Support for ankles excellent.
I bought these after I badly hurt my foot and needed something which gave my foot support. These are just the job and they also look great. Glad I bought them.
I am using this at work. 8 hours shift outside and it’s perfect!!!
Boots are well supportive, well balanced and super comfy to wea
Had a walk in the woods . Ground was wet but my feet wasn’t. These boots are cumfy and do keep your feet dry !
Was a bit worried about reviews saying they are not waterproof so I waterproofed them before wearing. So far completely waterproof. Like the fact they are high so you can go through quite deep water and stay dry. I was a bit worried the high ankle would rub but they have been completely comfortable.
I love these boots.
J I do a lot of walking and I’m quite a big unit and these have been grea
I love these boots, the comfiest footwear I have ever owned, this is my second pair, loved the first pair so much, which I have walked hundreds of miles in, and they’re still going strong, but I wanted a new pair that don’t look so grubby
Very comfortable and easy to walk in. Light in weight with good gripping soles I have worn these on lengthy hikes and found them very good, stood up to the rough terrain and inclement weather conditions
Good fit, comfortable, aesthetically one of the best boots on the market!!
Great costumer service , got the parcel one day before expected delivery day , I use this product for work
Those boots are super comfy, warm and sturdy, just need to be careful when putting them off to avoid tearing the internal fabric with our heel and, of course, to not forget about the routine maintenance. The costumer service has been really caring and helpful as well.
These are the second pair iv’e bought, the first i had for five years and walked literally thousands on miles in them. They’re the most comfortable walking boots iv’e owned, i can do 10+ miles a day easily with no sore feet, they’re also the grippiest for climbing muddy hills, absolutely superb boots, remember as with most boots they’re only waterproof up to the laces, and always put dubbing on any walking boots, a brilliant boot at an fantastic price.
Boots are a perfect fit as I bought a half size bigger as recommended by seller , normally I take a 9 so I ordered 9.5 and they really are a perfect fit. Ideal for walking the .Delivery as always with Amazon was first class
They look good, they feel good and they are good.
I have had my eye on these boots for some time wondering were they as good as they promised to be. The answer in short is…yes.
Walking is like wearing carpet slippers with support and grip is fantastic. I have had these only a short time but will update. I walk all terrains every day, covering at least 10kms per day. So a good test, I think for the Xpeti. Lets see how they fare during the year.
By the way, order half a size bigger than normal. You can still fit an insole like odor-eater for even greater comfort.
Excellent customer service. They handled my query very well. Buy 1 size or half size less than yours. Shoes maybe comfortable if they fit well. Awaiting to get my issue resolved.
Bought these as we were going into winter and truth be told I really needed new boots. I wouldn’t normally spend so much on this sort of item but I’m glad I did. I can’t believe just how well they keep my feet dry and are so comfortable. I normally need to add support for my insoles and as such they’re little tight and I should’ve got the next size up. That said I have done away with the support as I’ve found these boots naturally do the job anyway. It’ll be interesting to see how durable and long lasting they are.
These were a little snug on the first few years but are now my favourite boots. They’re incredibly comfortable and warm. During our recent cold snap these were a saviour as the grips are very effective on the slippery paths. If you’re between sizes I would go up a half size.
Excellent boots. Compared to some other boots I’ve had these wear in very quickly. A couple of walks and they fit like a glove. My second pair this year, I wore the last pair out as I do a lot of pavement walking in them and wore the soles down, but it’s telling that I didn’t even check out any alternative boots, I found my last order and went directly to ‘buy again’. They look pretty good too. Really love them.
Size was accurate for a size ten foot.
Breathability is good, and waterproof seems ok.
I’ve tried them out in wet grass and shallow rivers, I do wildlife docu-movies and these have been brilliant.
hese are the best boots iv ever bought i climb mountain frequently and these are great would buy agai
Bought these boots and was a bit sceptical as some reviews said they were not waterproof, saw a review from an ex marine who said they were so decided to try. Boots are definitely waterproof, warm Nd comfortable. Make sure you go one half size up.
Nice as not over heavy and has great toe, heel and sold protection!
These aren’t breathable, your feet do get hot and they’re a little bigger than expected (but then i’ve been used to Merrell’s) but they are water resistant (they state “water resistant” not “waterproof”). Breaking them in feels a little like wearing snow boots but they are definitely worth the money. I’ve just bought a second pair for my son.
They fit ok with room for thick socks and are very warm and quite ligh
Had these for a few months now. There so comfortable I wear them everyday. Highly recommend. True to size.
did exactly what the last pair did, no complaint here
Not the most comfortable boot I’ve had, but they have not let any water in when wet underfoot. They are very clunky. For those of you who are a bit older, they made me look like Herman monster when a wore them.
great in relation to the very light weight warms up very comfortable on the feet great model
These boots are the most comfortable I have ever worn out of the box. Someone recommended to buy a half size up from normal shoe size. I agree with this I usually wear a 7 but bought a 7.5 and they fit perfect.
Brilliant boots. Simple.
Excellent pair of boots wore them for the first time last week up tryfan in wales an they exceeded all my expectations, comfy, waterproof, great grip especially coming down on wet stone. Perfect!
Perfect fit, and really comfortable straight out of the box.
These boots are premium made, comfortable and look great an excellent walking boo
Very comfortable. My partner lives in them on a daily basis for work. He finds some really comfortable and easy and lightweight to wear.
The only downside is that you have to be careful when you do them up and do not yank the laces otherwise the eyelets will break but apart from that they are excellent value for money
A good sturdy boot,I have done some long hikes in them, certainly waterproof and good grip. Took a little bedding in,only area of blistering was at the top of the upper part of boots, the best thing to do is to,stuff paper in,when not ued,to flex the top out. I also do not lace up to the tops,so the uppers give more flex.
Despite the reviews saying these are over-size, I found them to be very true to size. However, they are very wide indeed. Had to send them back, unfortunately, because I bought a slightly smaller size than normal on the basis of those other reviews.
We will see if they are too insulated to be used in summer. Comfortable boots.
I’ve had these shoes now 2 years, and I paid 63 for them at the time. I’m very happy with them. I’ve used them quite a bit over the 2 years, and out them through mots of hiking and walking in hot and cold and wet and dry weather, motorcycling and occasional snow activities and they’re still waterproof, keeps warm and are very comfortable.
I’ve had Columbia hiking shoes before that I paid much more for where the outer sole fell off after half the usage I’ve put these through, and as someone who is heavy on my gear these are still going strong, had zero maintenance or care and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.
I did change the insole for a gel one though for comfort, but it’s by no means neccessary.
It fits well and seems like a decent quality. They inner soles is a bit hard and slightly uncomfortable, but can be fixed with good sole inners. So far, no water leaking into them – but I dont go swimming with them. The sole grip is really good .
In my opinion, its well worth the money .
Ordered size 13, (largest size available). Upon arrival I tried them on and found they were a little too small, bearable enough to walk around my room, but it was obvious that to wear them for any length of time it would get worse and become painful. (I do occasionally have to order size 14 dependent on the manufacturer). They do look great, feel very sturdy and was very disappointed that I had to return them.
The boots are really comfortable straight out of the box. I also noted that there was a tab attatched to the boots stating that these boots have a 12 month guarantee, which is good to know incase the boots fall apart within a year. I can’t really give a detailed review because I’ve only had these boots for a week.
My issue was with the delivery. The delivery driver knocked on my door, dumped the parcel on my doorstep and was driving away by the time I answered my door. He didn’t even wait to check that I was at home to receive delivery of the parcel.
I bought a pair of these boots in Feb and as a proffesional gardener I have worn them 50 hours a week for 6 months in all weathers. Waterproof is a relative term when it comes to footwear but these are the most waterproof boots -bar wellies- I have owned. They are also warm. They are a slightly snug size 10 -I couldn’t wear them with an insole- and they are quite heavy. I didn’t wear them for the summer months -unless it was raining- as they are too warm. I have had to replace them as I have gone through the sole where I am repeatedly stamping on spades. Why the missing star, they are not as comfortable as my summer boots but then again warm dry feet are 10 times more comfortable than wet cold feet so maybe a bit unfair.
Scanned the web for some time looking for walking boots which were supposed to do what you would expect, as in strong enough to last a few years and waterproof over a reasonable period of time. It seems this market has a grate deal of shoddy merchandise around going by the many reviews I looked at. Anyway came across the name of Xepeti. Good reviews, good range of sizes ( I could join a circus with my 13s ) and competitively priced.
Landed nicely packaged and fit a treat. Look well put together and after three 4-5 mile walks all is good. Probably need until the end of this coming winter to have a full appreciation of how they are standing up but looking at the soles they seem robust enough to give value for money wear. Who the hell wants to replace walking boots every 12 to 18 months when coughing up 70.00 and the rest. Maybe I’m just an old fossil of a Yorkshire man who wants some value for “splashing the cash”. If you are looking for vale for money in this market I would recommend you have a look at this make. Take care folks & enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air…. even after muck spreading!
Cheers ~ Ala
One month on: I’ve walked about 12 miles a week in them and I’m completely satisfied. They have not leaked at all and after a little initial discomfort around the ankles, I find them very comfortable. For me, the lace tension has to be adjusted so as the ankles are not loose but not tight either. Perfect!
Two months on: Walking in wet grass my feet get wet. The fabric behind the laces seems to be very porous. I could not recommend these as wet weather boots. Not much of a problem for me, if it’s really wet I wear my wellies. But rating reduced to 4 stars. I still really like them.
