This was super easy to install and the mesh is great…bad thing my dog tore thru it like it was toilet paper lol….I would recommend for babies and smaller dogs…not pitbulls
We wanted a swing gate, but the opening was too wide for any of the gates on the market. I was skeptical about a retractable gate, but this one has been fantastic. It locks in place and has saved my computer from being annihilated by my toddler.
This gate has worked wonderfully for us. We have it on our stairs to keep my toddler from climbing them. The product was easy to install, looks nice and works very well. We did have an issue with my toddler pulling to hard on the gate and snapping one of the clips off. I contacted the seller and within a few days, they shipped me a replacement gate. Very generous on their behalf since I only needed a replacement clip.

Very easy to use and very easy to set up. Works perfectly. And to top it off, I asked for a third set of accessories to be able to instal the gate in a third location without buying another gate and the seller was more than happy to oblige. Thank you!

Une fois install, il suffit de tirer la barrire pour la mettre en place, et d’appuyer sur le gros bouton l’oppos oppos avant de le tourner vers close pour la verrouiller. La toile est tendue, il n’est donc pas possible de passer, de le bouger ou de l’ouvrir sans faire la manip inverse.
Vous pouvez galement verrouiller la barrire en position enroule pour viter que les enfants jouent avec.
Notre escalier fait 100cm de large, et la barrire convient parfaitement.
Ravie de cet achat, j’en ai achet un deuxime pour mettre l’tage, je conseille vivement!
So easy to install and use that we bought a 2nd 1 for bottom of stairs incase of daytime wandering! Our dog has mobility and balance problems so stairs are deadly. This is a lifesaver and so easily rolls back shen mot in use. Not in the least obstructive. Cannot recommend highly enough
I love this product and it works really well to contain my Golden Retriever and it’s compact so it’s never in the way when not in use.
We did have some breakage on the hooks, however after contacting the seller they sent me spare parts free of charge almost immediately.
Very happy and would purchase again.
We have the gate set up in a large archway in our lounge, it works really well and doesn’t look unsightly in the space.
The gate comes with additional brackets therefore we were able to fix these at the top of our stairs, it’s really easy to move between these two locations keeping our crawling 10 month old son safe – highly recommended!
We seem to have extra wide stairs. You get loads of extra bits. My husband thought it was flimsy and pointless until I demonstrated the simple locking mechanism. The only negative I have is that our wall is not level so the bottom is looser than the top. But it still just about stays on the hook and the lock stops it from being able to come off.
We are using it for our back door. We have 3 bunnies in house which is on free run and it keeps them from running out.

This is easy to use once installed. Someone installed it for me at the top of my stairs. (He said the template holes did not line up correctly and he had to drill some extra holes.) I didn’t think it would matter which side it was installed on until my puppy was able to open it by chewing at the bottom. I don’t think she could have done it if it hooked on facing away from the top of the stairs. I haven’t changed it and she has only done it once.
Went up without too much hassle- had extra parts for a fairly flush fit. Looks nice. Operates easily. My labs- when excited upon our return can easily knock it off its fittings, but when they aren’t “being labs” it keeps them in the desired area.
Firstly what we hate..-this product stinks- as in smells! My husband and I were like, “what is that awful smell!?”, it was the gate. For reference it smells like acrylic nails/nail salon. We’ve had it up for going on 3 weeks and still get some wafting smells from it on occasion if you’re sensitive to this type of thing don’t get this gate. Secondly, what is also bad is that it does not have a child lock. We have three boys ages 4,6&9 and while I don’t mind my older two being responsible and unlocking/relocking the gate, my 4 year old forgets and has caused trouble for the baby. I also will add that if you have kids that are destructive you may reconsider getting this ass it could be fairly simply pulled to the end of the track and ripped off.
Despite the “bad” things If this had a child lock located where older children and parents could only operate I probably would give this a 5 star review, despite the stink.
What we love- ease of use. It’s very convenient to drag and lock this gate and it’s fairly sturdy considering it’s mesh/screen material. Installation was a breeze. We also like that it rolls up and is conveniently where you need it always, no more searching for the last place you sat the temporary baby gate. Overall we’re happy with it.
We purchased the retractable gate as a option to improve air circulation for our master bedroom. The bedroom is located at the rear of the house. We previously kept the bedroom door closed to keep the dogs out as their nails make an awful tic tic sound on the wood flooring that would wake us up during the night. With the door closed the room would get stuffy. The gate eliminated that. The gate is easy to install. It comes with two templates for drilling the holes, one for the gate and the other for the latches. With the gate unboxed and my tools ready to go, it took me 15 minutes to install. For my application, it was perfect.
Great product, install instructions are a bit unclear. Easy in concept but they do not label the products well to associate with instructions. Measuring guide is very helpful.
I wanted a retractable gate so my dog could enjoy the porch on nice days, because I like to open doors and windows while I clean to air out the house. So much better than the classic tension style gates. Easy to open and close with one hand seems durable so far. When it’s not in use, it’s out of the way and not an eyesore. Absolutely love it, and we’re thinking of buying another for inside.
Installation was easy. It comes with a tempate that shows exactly where the screws need to go.
Product is a good idea however because of the way the gate is attached only on the left side (when it’s being attached inside a doorway not in between the doorway), it makes it hard to use in different situations. It would be great if the gate was able to be switched to attach in the right side as well, so because of where we are putting it we aren’t able to use it because we need the large part that holds the retractable mesh to be attatched on the right side – all types of this gate seem to only attatch on the left unfortunately so I am sending it back
I was excited not only about the retracting function of this gate, but that it was advertised as easy to move between two locations. Now that I’ve installed it in one location, it seems impossible to move (see video). This is not explained in the instructions and I am trying to do the installation steps in reverse, plus pushing the only button, but nothing is working.

I bought this to keep my dogs out of the kitchen. I have large snow dogs, so I was cautious about this gate’s ability to keep them out but I like the sleek design, wall mounted feature, and the ability to completely retract the gate and keep it out of the way without having to store it somewhere when not in use. The gate works fairly well. The mesh fabric is not super sturdy and if the fabric is pushed upon, it can unroll from the mount or fold/bend to allow a person or animal to get underneath or over the top. However, it has a pretty cool lock feature that keeps the gate taught when used, and that keeps the fabric from bending and folding and keeps people and/or animals out. The gate is fairly tall, as well, which I love because my dogs don’t try to jump over it and my kids cannot step over it. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

Fitted at bottom of our stairs to stop pup going up. Works spot on. Easy to install with or without instructions to be honest. Plenty of brackets for various fitting options. If you can’t fit this you probably shouldn’t be attempting diy in the first place ! Very happy with it.
This gate is very easy to use by just un-latching it and letting it retract. There are no locks or latches to hassle with. Just pull it closed and hook the end to close it. Very easy to use and sturdy to keep your child or puppy’s safe.
The only problem I had was mounting the brackets on the door opening evenly. The carpet interfered with the mounting template on one side and I missed it by 1/4″. No by deal though, just had to remount the brackets.

J’ai achet cette barrire pour dissuader mon enfant de 22 mois de monter/descendre les escaliers, nous avons pas mal de vide entre les deux cages. Cela reste quand mme une “fausse scurit” pour les enfants en bas ge. La barrire est relativement souple et un enfant qui rampe peut largement passer dessous. Concernant le montage, le kit vendu avec la barrire laisse dsirer. Nos murs sont en placo et sans lambourdes (photos ci jointes) la barrire ne tient pas un mois, surtout si elle est ouverte/ferme plusieurs fois par jour. Les arrtoires sont en plastiques et n’ont pas l’air extra solide, voir l’usure. Je suis tout de mme satisfaite du rendu de cette barrire et de l’paisseur du tissu (qualit tissu OK tout de mme). Esthtiquement c est plutt sympa. Par contre, je dconseille de faire cet achat pour empcher un animal de passer a ne tiendra pas un mois
I really like the functionality of this product. It’s easy to operate and keeps my little one from falling down the stairs. Even my 4 year old is able to operate the gate so he can use the stairs as needed without my help. I did find the installation instructions tricky, but my husband was able to install it in about 10 minutes. He also complained about the mounting hardware being plastic, he’s worried it’s going to break easily. Only time will tell, but so far I’m happy with it and want to buy/install more.
Pour l’instant je m’en sert pour empcher le chien d’aller au salon et bientt pour protger bb de la marche pour entrer au salon. Assez discrte repli et efficace dpli. Seul bmol j’ai d le poser plus haut que la plinthe car je ne voulais pas les percer car c’est du carrelage. Il aurait fallu que l’on puisse la fixer plus haut.

I found the product to be versatile to fit a variety of stair cases. It’s robust easy to operator and easy to fit.
I use it at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dog getting upstairs, works a treat.
Great item! Less intrusive for occasional use and can be left fitted for instant use when required! Quick and easy removal/refitting if you want to put it away between use or when not required! Worth the extra cost for a really unobtrusive and effective stair gate that’s easy to install and easy in use!
The main reason of chose this rather than the safety gate is I have a mirror by the stairs on the hallway. I do not want the gate to destroy my mirror. This is much impressive than what I expect: very easy to install, and there are some blocks to help adjust the difference between the walls. compared with the tradition gate, amazing space saver absolutely!
So easy to install literally takes few minutes, I use it on the stairs and it was so easy to install there ans it works perfectly well, so easy to use as it has a handle to open and close and the lock works perfectly fine no child is gonna be able to open it.

This works well for what we needed it for. Doesn’t stop cats though. It’s easy enough to use with 1 hand and the locking mechanism works quite well.
My 4-year-old daughter is able to easily use it too, which is ideal for us.
