When compared to other Chronos i have used, this is very accurate. However, the key feature I love is the Bluetooth link to a mobile app. When I’m using it on-site, I don’t have to squint at a small display to read the Jouls/FPS, the player’s shots are all there for you to see on the phone or Ipad. Easy to show the player how his shots have been recorded and say HOT or good to play. For those players who are boarder line, It will even work an average Joules FPS out for you. very quick to change and program in additional BB weighs through the mobile app, so no messing about on the Chrono point and keeps your line flowing.
For a casual user at home, its also great as you can record and save your test shots and compare them to what the site chrono says. Obviously, this wont help you if the site says your hot your hot, but it will help you dial your RIF in at home
After reading other peoples reviews, decided to take the risk as needed to set up the regulator on a friends rifle.
Pretty good accuracy measuring muzzle velocity on a .22 air rifle, definitely need the battery fully charged though, and make sure the chrono is level.
For the price performs just as good as far more expensive chronographs i have used in the past, the shot string feature is extremely useful showing full spread of velocities and giving an average, BT connects ok, would definitely recommend based on my own experience.
Have been using it for over a month now to check my own rifles and friends before a session, hasn’t let me down yet.
I use this to test my Airsoft guns, it seems to match up pretty well with my local sites chronograph so I’m well chuffed. The app is great as you can save reports for when you’re tinkering with a build too.
I needed to check the my new air rifle was ;eagle i.e. <12 fp and also wanted to check the quality of pellets being used. A review of some diablo pellets and a review of my rifle stated my rifle would give a velocity of 561 fps and 11.2 fp. This is exactly what the ACETECH have me. Useful to have and great price.
This is a great addition to have it very easy to use the app is brilliant and also very easy to navigate it’s very accurate and light weight my only grumble is it doesn’t come with a storage case
Super chronometer with Bluetooth for iPhone or Android if required.
There seems to be some confusion regarding preset projectile settings – ALL 5 preset weight /diameter settings can be changed to your own requirements, simply use the navigation button over the existing settings, and up / down to change weights and diameter. You will of course lose these if you reset to factory defaults and have to re-enter them again.
Surprised this is not mentioned in the supplied manual.
The unit is nice and light, well constructed with a clear screen, and a re-chargeable battery already installed.
Thoroughly recommended.
Easy chronograph to use. Having the app is a good feature as well. You can keep track of your results.
Produit de bonne qualit, utilis pour contrler des armes air comprims, permet de connaitre les vitesses et la puissance de diffrents plombs, rglages simples et faciles.
Je ne regrette pas mon achat.
Lightweight easy to use accurate. Very good chronograph for the price. Would recommend acetech ac 6000
Very good chrono. The Bluetooth is also a good feature
This product is perfect for setting up your airsoft pistols and rifles after upgrading them so you not over the fps limit easy to use clear screen with readings perfec
Great little lightweight chrono, seems to be very accurate although the product description isn’t exactly clear about the differences between models.
Although grossly overpriced for what it does it is still useful and accurate
Cheaper than alot of models but works exactly the same, well made. Accurate results every shot. Works well with pcp and c02 rifles and pistols.
This chronograph is lightweight and simple to use. The unit allows you to input the weight of BBs, the units you want used (fps, mps, etc) and shows everything on a display that is easy to read. My only complaint is that it blanks it’s memory when the unit is turned off or shuts down automatically.
Awesome product. Absolutely awesome. Easy to use and incredibly accurate. Couldn’t be happier with it.
works great, has lots of functionality and feels fairly solid
Well Worth getting so you can set up and check your FPS and joules so you know your field legal. Really like the Bluetooth version with the app so you can see your results on
Your phone. Last site I went to they were using these units to chrono all the players so must be trustworthy. So far very happy! And the case with the more expensive model Is well Made and will Keep It safe from harm.
Cant really attest as to how accurate it is, I’ve nothing to compare it to, but the numbers seem consistent, it doesn’t calculate the ft/lb figures, you’ll have to do your own maths overall I’m pleased with it, small size and not affected by ligh
Very handy bit of kit. Seems to be reasonably accurate and consistent and will give you an idea of what your gun is outputting and is excellent for pellet comparisons. Somewhat flimsy in construction so don’t drop it. Menu could be better as could the screen clarity/ brightness. Available elsewhere (China) cheaper but probably not worth the risk of getting a faulty one. I’ve used mine much more than anticipated.
Nice looking unit and well built, has all the features you could really want- works with airsoft, airguns and nerf blasters. My only real complaint is that ~5-10% of readings can be massively high or low as it miss-reads the shot and gives an erroneous fps, or simply doesn’t register the shot at all. Not the end of the world really given the price of the unit, it’s plenty reliable for a hobbyist or club that just needs a fairly reliable chrono that doesn’t cost a fortune.
Great bit of kit, as shown in my photos, I had this setup at my local firing range. It helped provide me fps on my new firing spring in my AS rifle, however way over the limit and won’t be allowed where I go 🙁 so great to know from that point….
I used a standard power bank battery 20000mah, one thing to remember is to make sure you turn the power bank on. Reason I mentioned this, is when you first plug it into the Chrono, it will try and charge (As it should), but then turn off…as quite rightly there’s nothing to charge, but if you press the power bank on for a couple of seconds, it overrides that and powers your Chrono..
Love the wide port as well, and showed the same or similar readouts as the Chrono at my Airsoft site I go too, however that was an ACETECH 5000. Whilst I went for the more expensive version, both I think will do the job at measuring your fps.
Unfortunately I have given 4 stars as not used it yet.
Set-up very easy to follow from screen menu.
I will be using it on various 22 air rifles and I have no doubt that I will be changing the review to 5 stars.
Accurate readings for all my airsoft guns, nice selection of ammo type and weight.
Choice of metric or imperial readings, easy to read screen giving FPS or MPS, rounds per second or minute, total shots fired, highest and lowest trading and average over all shots, great piece of kit, I use it to chrono all of my airsoft guns and for showing readings on my YouTube channel.
Only downside is I wish it had a reset switch to wipe the data quickly when going from semi to full-auto, switching BB weight or gun, instead you have to switch it off and on again, but that’s only a minor issue. It’s not the cheapest chrono, but you get what you pay for, even my local airsoft retailer uses this model, so it is off a professional standard.
I love the option of mounting it on a tripod too, mashes life so much easier (I use an amazon basics telescopic tripod and it’s great)
Ordered this as my brother in laws that i normally use had given up on working properly.
well i wasnt disappointed at all. its a nice sleek design that is extremely easy to use. simple to navigate menus, and an option to switch between preset BB weights from the main screen.
i have also not had a single “tout” whilst using.
cracking, accurate and simple piece of kit which is well worth the money.
I liked this & there is no fault that I can point out I am using this to measure my airgun power shows very accurate energy & velocity together lightweight & handy recommended..
Does what it says on the tin. Good value for a fully featured chronograph
Brought this for my airsoft rifs (vsr and mk23) couldn’t be more happy with it. Probably one of the best on the market.
Accurate speed meter, tested it with 3 types of pellets and they where measured well. The software needs a bit of getting used to but it is ok. I would like to have a way to export the data though. I couldn’t find this feature. All by all a good buy.
Wasn’t sure if this would work for my paintball guns, so I took a chance… I’m delighted to say it works for .68 paintballs, .22 and .177 pcp air rifles. Calibre and weights all programmed in now. Yet to try a BB! I’m happy with the accuracy too, as the high end .22 air rifle was clocked at bang-on 12 ft/lb consistently, the .177 pinker not so much (as expected). Long may it last!
This has got to be one of my best buys. OK, it’s a basic ‘chronie’ but it does everything I need at a really great price. It feels a bit lightweight but it’s not.
Fitting onto a standard camera tripod I’ve used this to test pellet velocities from a range of pellets from various guns. It works and does all the calculating for you. The menu is very simple to use and gives you a sensible range of adjustable parameters giving you readings in fps or mps, energy in ft/lbs or joules and a choice of ROF. ROF is of more interest to BB and Air-soft guys but it was fun to see what I could get up to on my semi-automatic Sigs! Blew me away!
Having a USB for a portable external power pack is a plus, too.
All in all I thoroughly recommend this to any gunner who wants to do some amateur external ballistic observations. It’s really great value and a definite repeat buy.
If this was useful, click the “yes” and cheers for now!
This is a good bit of kit, shot my .22 pcp air rifle through it and it registered ok, shot it through my mates chrono (150) it registered the same speed and ft lb very happy with it.
Does what it says it does and is crucial if you’re upgrading or down grading your airsoft equipment.. All plastic but doesn’t feel cheap. Tripod compatible which is a bonus for me, I’m sure most come with this feature though. Can’t think of anything this doesn’t do that I’ll ever need it to do. The price is good for a chrono I guess, but then I personally think chrono’s are over priced at both ends of the spectrum.
Nice chrono with a very nice display. Easy to use and light weight.
You know some things you buy the first time you pick it up they look and feel like cheap tat? Well this is NOT one of those.
The first time you see it, and the first time you pick it up, there is something that just resounds of high build quality, attention to detail, and thoughtful design.
And that’s before you even turn it on, the little LED screen again looks well made and has a feeling of quality to it. Same with the buttons. Easy and intuitive to setup, control, and use.
Everything about it feels refined and well made.
I can’t confirm the accuracy of the data because it’s the only one I’ve ever owned, but it seems right to me. I’ve tested it with a couple of different guns and the results are very much what I expected them to be. There is a slight fluctuation in velocity with every shot as you would expect (especially with cheap guns! i’ve seen this on videos with other testers too.); but both my BB guns have a very predictable and consistent range, with the higher powered one consistently firing over 3 times the fps of the smaller one, as I would expect.
The only bad thing I can say is the delivery took longer than I expected considering I have prime, other than that I love the produc
Feels a little plasticky but other then that grate produc
Awesome bit of kit. Worth the price can’t really work on airsoft guns without one.
Great airsoft chrono, suprisingly lightweight compared to say the Madbull which is solid aluminium, but then it is twice the price of this one. However, the oled screen is lovely and it is really quick and smooth moving through the menus, which feels really nice with everything clearly laid out. I used to have a madbull chrono but it only has an 8-seg led screen with no swanky extra functions and aside from feeling more solid the Acetech beats it hands down in every area. The history of the last 10 shots is particularly useful!
Bought this as my Guarder chrono was becoming abit outdated and internal battery had given up the ghost and all i can say is im chuffed with the quality and accuracy of this chrono and i would highly recommend it to anyone
Very nice chrono, has 3 tabs, screen 1, screen 2 which has shot memory and screen 3 settings, has not missed reading a shot, latest one on the market, far better than all the X3200 fakes out there. You can adjust the bb weight in the settings for all those bbs out there. Well made who could ask for more.
I play airsoft most weekend and I’m forever playing with my guns to improve performance but have found iv gone to sites and done a little to much. This one probably is the best on the market has rounds pre a second and foot per second. Thing I love about this chrono is when your checking your rounds pre second you can see what each shot is firing. Defo worth buying
Great if you want to read FPS with your airsoft guns.
Quality doesnt seem that good for the price though, plasticky!
