This chain was a replacement for my wife and is very similar just a little slimmer to her last chain. It is presented nicely in a standard little jewellery box with cushioning inside and looks nice and would be good as a gift.
The chain is nicely formed and the gold finish is smooth and looks good.
I’d say the price is good for a 9ct chain, it certainly seems more expensive to look at.
The chain is strong and can take a good tug apart, it also is very uniform and sits nicely when moving around.
Nothing to fault about this, good value.

Arrived in a nice quality dark blue flip open box, ideal for a gift with certificate of authenticity.
The 0.8mm Curb Chain is so tightly linked they almost touching each other.
Although a fine and delicate chain it is strong and robust.
Beautiful 9K Gold chain complete with 375 hallmark.
Positive spring ring clasp to secure and remove chain from your neck.
Overall, this is a fine 0.8mm Gold chain that looks amazing and feels great to wear.

It is hallmarked so you know it is an genuine 9 carat gold chain.
It arrives in a black velvet box and certainly looks a beautiful chain to give as a gift.
The loss of one star for me is because the chain certainly looks beautiful but I wanted it hold a 9 carat old opal cross that is a family heirloom. Its not a very heavy cross but has great sentimental value , but this chain looks quite thin and around the house I could trust it to hold the pendant, but outside of the house is a different matter. To me this is a lovely delicate chain to be given as a gift but ensure the recipient uses it as a decorative chain and not one to hold a heavyweight pendant nor one with a lot of value.
So it came with certificate that its true 9ct gold. Chain looks nicely made, shines beautifuly, needs only pendant so would look as full necklace
My wife has some pendants that have no chain in her collection, so I thought this one would be a good gift idea for her.
The chain is made of 9-carat yellow gold with an expression of beauty and craftsmanship. It is 45cm long and it is thin and light, but very durable since it is made to last long. It has a “375” stamp and a certificate of authenticity to ensure that it is not fake. This is nickel-free, nontoxic and corrosion-resistant, so you won’t get any irritation or skin rashes while using it.

Upon looking at and checking the chain when it arrived, it looks very delicate and nice at the same time. The chain looks like it was carefully made even though it is thin. I guess if you wear it on its own without a pendant, it would look plain, so a small pendant would really make a huge difference. I gave this to my wife and fortunately, she likes it.
As for its price, I think it’s in the average range since most the gold necklace chains are at this price point and it is great quality.
This chain by Amberta comes in 3 lengths and 3 sizes. You can have 36cm, 40cm or 45cm and 0.5mm, 0.8m or 0.95mm. I chose the middle for both – the length is more universal this way but is not a choker, the middle thickness ensures the chain doesn’t look too delicate, but still keeps the nice pattern.
The chain is well crafted and stamped with the 375 hallmark. Despite the thickness I’d probably still use it with a small pendant – on its own it’s not as visible. The clasp is standard, which is typical for this thickness.
Presentation is important with jewelry and this chain is well presented. The black spring box with the branded card at the front looks elegant. Inside the golden logo on white cushion and black velvet padding look very nice.
I have to mention the card which has information on the reverse. There it states that this chain has a 325 hallmark, which is clearly incorrect. As far as I know that kind of probe doesn’t exist. The stamp on the chain says 375 though.
My chain has a price of 55, which I believe is good for 9ct gold. You have to be really careful as some products will state that they’re 9ct gold plated or gold over metal, and tempt you with a low price. Here you have an actual golden chain. Happy to recommend.

It weights 0.65g.
It has 375 stamp to confirm its purity.
Chain arrived nicely presented in the jewellery box.
The colour of the gold is very nice and warm.
It looks and feels well made.
I found it easy and quick to open /close.
Clasp seems to be secure.
The length is just right for me – it is very short like I wanted, I have a pendant on it, which I wanted to be visible.
In the past I had always ask to shorten my chains at the shop, so I was surprised that I was able to order the length I needed.
If you don’t like short chain I would suggest to choose the longer version.
Thin and very delicate, but seems strong and looks beautiful.

The lady gift recipient reports that she really liked this – and specifically that it was ‘slim and elegant, easy to secure + well-secured’, and nicely presented to in its little box’. Which I take to be a fulsome female recommendation, plus guidance for mere males seeking gift ideas. Upon receipt I did wonder if it might be so ‘slim’ as to be flimsy, but apparently not so – and what do i know? I can however confirm that it catches and reflects light nicely.
This is a lightweight and delicate chain, it’s too fine to wear on its own and does nothing to enhance what you’re wearing, it definitely needs a pendant.
It’s got a good clasp that isn’t too fiddly to open.

The authenticity card that says it’s designed and sourced in Scotland. The hallmark on the clasp says ‘ITALY’ so I was then beginning to doubt that it has been anywhere near Scotland.
I did a bit of research and the company was actually founded in Edinburgh but they source the metal from various countries around the globe.
I’m happy now I know that this was produced in the UK.

Obsessed with this chain, it’s super pretty. Comes nicely packaged in a black box and looks really elegant. The necklace is 9ct gold and has a nice thin chain. The chain clasp opens and closes well. You can also attach your own pendant to the chain if you wanted. Chain is stunning and great quality. I love it and it would make a perfect gift!

This is a nice, very think neckless which is great for every day wear. It looks lovely and catches the light nicely. Comes in a nice gift box. Would recommend.
This necklace comes in a very well presented elegant black box and would make a super gift for any woman. The chain is very fine, but seems strong enough to wear daily. I have put a small delicate locket on mine and it hangs beautifully. The chain is 9ct gold and comes with a certificate of authenticity, verifying the quality of the item. The chain is designed and sourced in Scotland (my homeland) and the company also make bracelets, earrings and other pieces of jewellery. The clasp on the necklace is a spring ring clasp and I find these the best way to secure my chains. All in all this is a nice product and I’m happy to recommend it. I will wear it daily and see if the chain hold up to the riggers of my daily life , but for now it’s 4* from me folks.

After looking at various chains, I decided to purchase this from Amazon as they were highly recommended for customer satisfaction and returns. It is a very pretty chain and quite strong although it looks delicate. I wanted it to hold a heart pendant my husband had bought me and so far am thrilled. I have worn it 24/7 since purchased and have had comments on how nice it looks. Definitely better than anything else I had viewed, good quality and great price. Thank you.

You receive a thin shining 9 carat gold box chain which looks lovely in its plain black presentation box. The packaging is both elegant and classy. The box comes with a black and gold embossed card which explains that the gold is sourced from Scotland and the chain carries a 325 hallmark. Now this is a bit puzzling. The description talks about a 375 hallmark which is correct for 9 carat gold. I have tried and failed to see the hallmark but my eyes are not good enough. 325 is an old hallmark most often found on old jewellery and denotes 8 carat gold which does not meet UK standards. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this is a mistake, but you might want to clarify before you purchase which is correct.
The chain itself is slim and very lovely. I chose the box chain at 0.5mm and was not disappointed. It fastens with standard clasp and looks lovely on, catching the light and sparkling. It is strong enough to hold a nicely appointed diamond should you wish to use it for that.
I really like this chain and would be very happy if I received it as a gift. It’s delicate and pretty and assuming it is 9 carat gold, it is priced appropriately. The length is good (mine is 45 cm).

I was pleased to try this ‘Amberta Allure Women 9 Ct Yellow Gold Chain Necklace’. I chose the 45cm length as that is nearest to the 18 inch size I usually go for.
1. It comes in a lovely matt black, spring open and shut presentation case, branded with ‘Amberta Allure’ in gold on the inside of the silky cream lid. Inside, the chain sits neatly on a good quality velvet, foam and card pad, displaying a small ‘U’ shaped amount, with the rest tucked behind. There is a card with it, explaining that the gold has been sourced from Scotland and has been marked with the European ‘325’ 9ct gold hallmark.
2. It is a really lovely gold chain – not too thin, so that it might break but not too chunky. It is delicate and classy looking and shines beautifully. The tiny links sit alternatively one way and the next one, the other.
3. It does measure 45cm long and this sits just in the right place for me, not too close to my neck but where you can see it when wearing blouses etc.
4. The hallmark is on the oval flat joining ring attached to the clasp. It also says Italy, with ‘A’ for Amberta on the other side. The clasp is neat and round and operates well. The joining loop, that goes into the clasp and also the one on the other end are fully joined oval, with an attached tiny loop that then is attached to the chain. This to my mind is quality because sometimes there are just split rings instead, that can pull open.
5. This will be a replacement for a dainty pendant, I was given, that came on a shorter chain. The longer length should work better for me. I am very happy with it and can recommend.
6. The current price of 61.99 is good value for money, in my opinion, for the quality, design, presentation and that it is hallmarked 9ct gold.
This is a very delicate little box chain, lovely quality, and pretty.
You could add a pendant or wear alone. It fits as expected but is very delicate indeed.

I’m not sure whether it will show up in my photograph as it is a very fine chain. I think that this makes it more suitable for popping a pendant on rather than wearing on its own. It would look really nice with a lightweight pendant hanging on it and it is a good length for that, especially with the V neckline that I’m wearing in this photograph.
Even though the chain is so fine, it feels strong and sturdy enough for everyday use, I don’t think it will break easily but I’ll update this review if it does. It has a nice sparkle to it but only has a very subtle look. It has a bolt ring fastening.
It comes nicely presented in a plain suede-feel box that is letterbox friendly, which makes it ideal for a gift and particularly so if you need to post it to the recipient.

[When I read the description for this item I had to go away and do some research as I was unclear on what 375 Gold in the description indicated and I was not familiar with the term ‘Yellow Gold’. 375 Gold just means that it is 37.5% gold which is 9 Karat gold. Yellow gold just means that the other metals in the alloy give it more of a yellow colour as opposed to ‘white gold’ which uses metals that give it a whiter colour.]
