1. Why does the battery drain so quickly?
When the Settings selection screen is always on, both the screen and MCU are working, so it is normal that the battery drains quickly. It uses 15% of the battery in about 24 hours. We recommend turning off the display screen when not in use.
2. Why is “Screen Time”, “Battery Cycle”, “Total Input”, and “Total Output” not showing “0” on the display?
To ensure the quality of the product, rigorous tests were conducted. The values recorded during the production and testing process were:
(a) “Battery Cycle” should be 0 and “Battery Health” should be 100%.
(b) Other information should not be 0.
3. Why can’t the power reach 140W?
To reach 140W, you need to use a cable that supports PD 3.1 and a device that supports PD 3.1 input such as the 2021 MacBook Pro 16″.
4. Why does USB-A port show 0.1W output when the power bank is not connected to any device?
Even if the device is unplugged when charging with USB-A, it will continue to output a small current to prevent the device from being fully charged, and it will last for about 2 minutes. In trickle-charging mode, the output of USB-A is 0.1W.

It’s a perfect investment. It’s a good size. I can also charge my laptop, which is so beneficial. It also has a screen to see how much juice you have left for it to be recharged. It’s helped me with my travels, and I strongly recommend it.
Things of that nature
Got this for travelling & camping, where I might have intermittent access to mains power. This did the job perfectly. It charges up at 60W (the max my charger will do, so it might go faster with a better charger) and on top of the usual things like laptops, phones etc, I’ve used it to run a 65W soldering iron with no problems at all.
The only issue I’ve come across is that when I flew with this, my hand luggage got pulled out for inspection every time I went through security. After asking the security folks what the issue was, it turns out that the battery configuration of the device looks like nunchucks on the X-ray scanner, so they’re duty bound to have a poke around 🙂 Other than that it’s great, and I’m still happily using it.
I use this to charge my laptop when I go to cafes and can’t find a plug. I have a dell xps9750 and once my laptop runs out this keeps me going for at least another hour or two.
It’s also surprisingly small so fits in my bag well in the little case that it comes with. Some may find it a little heavy but that’s to be expected from a hefty portable charger.
Very nice powerbank. The screen showing the status of battery life very useful. It is charging reliable all my devices at full speed. The connection to my Precision 5680 is just possible via the normal USB C port but not the Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Finally, a product that can charge any of my devices on the go without having to slow charge.
This device can fully charge a pixel tablet plus 2 phones on one charge.
Output speed doesn’t seem to drop even when the battery pack has been almost fully exhausted.
Charging rate is great, this has seriously made me consider buying a charger capable of 140W as the pack charges to full in around 1 hours and 30 mins using only a 65W chargers.
Charges steam deck well and can sustain gaming for quite a few hours longer, it can also fully charge the steam deck with a little to spare!
Finally, the screen can be useful to see if your device is charging properly. Helped me quickly realise that the battery pack only charges from the first port.
So I made a mistake. I brought this to take with us on Holiday to charge our phones on the go. Turns out the Powerbank is too powerful to take on a plane unless you get approval which I never figured out how to do. Enough about my experienced limitations though. This is a fantastic power bank and I’ve used it for lots of devices on the go in the UK. It charges my laptop though USB C 1.5 times. Charges an IPad Pro about 2.4 times, IPhone 12 about 4 times. It’s really got me out of a couple of power anxiety situations. I did end buying a high capacity Ugreen 140w charger to go with it. Not cheap at about extra 65 but wow does it charge this power bank fast so we’ll worth it. My advice is don’t just think you can plug this into any USB C port to charge, you can but it will take forever without the right input device. It’s a big battery so it’s not light but absolutely worth it if you’re on the go a lot with limited access to charging or just want that extra bit of power for devices throughout day without hunting for electrical sockets.
Good power which charges my Samsung 23 Ultra and other compatible devices in super fast mode. The display is also great letting you know the input and out when plugged in and overall usage, but it seems to drain quickly even on low voltage devices, although this may just be my device. Good for travelling, but it is heavy, so you’ll notice it in your bag but worth it for the quick recharge ability for phones and laptops.
Premium feel, outputs exactly as stated. Comes with a short 140w charging cable. Worth looking for a longer 140w cable.
Will only output at rated 140w if the device it is charging can take that wattage.
his is a lovely piece of kit, I love the screen that keeps you informed of what it’s up to, it charges up to around 80% amazingly quickly and then slows down in order not to damage your battery, it does get quite warm can use so does the product it’s charging but not worryingly so. It is heavy, I am 80 years old and not in good health and can leave this device beside my bed and it is so handy for charging my iPads and iPhone, when I have to go into hospital, it gives me an independence from the main supply, I would recommend you buy it with anchors high-speed charger. I think the model number is 737, but I’m not sure. I would heartily recommend.
Really good quality. The built-in OLED displays gives an ‘at a glance’ view of the percentage power remaining in the unit, together with various other data. The unit is heavy, and feels solidly built. At the time of writing, it’s one of the highest-capacity power banks available on the market. Like most other ANKER products, the unit feels reassuringly well-built, and I am hoping that it will give good service for many years to come. My only complaint would be the WEIGHT! Did I mention that it was heavy?? Fine when working, but perhaps not ideal when on the move. Still, I guess that’s the trade-off that must be made for a high-capacity unit.
This is the ULTIMATE portable power bank, it can fast charge itself in under an hour.
And USB C to USB C is definitely the way forward for everything.
My only gripe is my 120W capable Xiaomi Phone is NOT supported, max I get is like 22W, (which is still super quick from a portable bank).
However it would appear Xiaomi use their own propierty charging and Anker doesn’t support them.
IPhones and Samsung phones are all good.
But if your wanting to take advantage of your Xiaomi super fast charging speeds, unfortunately this ain’t gonna do it.
Well build, beautiful yet solid and backed up by serious capabilities.
It charge and get charged blazingly fast. You forget about waiting with this charger.
Useful information on the display for nerds like me – maybe you could have added the volts utilised in addition to the Wats, so that we can know whether our devices use their rated voltages.
No other criticism, really. I use it to charge not only my phones, but from recently and my laptop with the help of usb-c pd to dc cable.
Works absolutely flawless and it is also beautiful power bank which catch the eyes of the people nearby.
More importantly It keeps the voltage steady under load on every voltage line, guaranteeing the health and long lifespan of the devices charged.
Very few chargers do that and it is so important.
Thank you Anker!
I’ve been hunting for a power pack that lasts and can charge ANYTHING I through at it, and this meets the mark!
I’ve recently been aware for a few weeks and this thing held up to charging phones, iWatch, iPads, and even two laptops at once (the latter drained it quickly, but it was enough for us to close work off when our collective batteries died)!
It’s heavy, we’ll built, and the OLED screen is a great indicator as to what’s using energy and hope much you have left (unplug those cables when finished charging!)
Coupled with the charger and cable that Anker do, and you have a veritable portBle power brick that performs better than anything I’ve had/used, even those that are nearly 4 times this capacity
Highly recommended
Have used Anker products before so expected a good experience with this item. Charges very quickly at 63w (which is the maximum rated charger I own so can imagine it would be extremley fast at its rated 140w). Charges all devices extremely quickly and the display is not only unique but absolutely great at telling you LOADS of information, probably the most useful is to see how much power your device is drawing and the remaining expected battery time, even tells you the battery health which is great. I’ve had mine for 10 months now and its only lost 1% battery health and has done 52 charge cycles so very good really.
The unit is light enough to carry around but don’t expect it to fit into your coat pocket, or any pocket comfortably that is. But if you’re on a train or flight or at work and need to charge your laptop or phone or anything really quickly then this is definitely a worthwhile purchase. It definitely has a premium feel to it and feels like it will outlast most phones and laptops itself. Would definitely recommend.
Tired of your phone or tablet dying when you need it most? Well say goodbye to dead batteries with the Anker 737 Power Bank – your new portable buddy providing comic relief while juicing up your devices.
This power bank packs a 24,000mAh battery into a classic ’90s cell phone shape that will trigger giggles and nostalgia. Remember the days when mobile phones were chunky plastic bricks? Relive those golden years of telephony while charging up that power-hungry iPhone 13 to full several times over.
The Anker 737 Power Bank may look chunky, but it has the latest charging technology to optimize output to your devices. The USB A & C ports detect what you’re charging to maximize speed and efficiency. So go ahead, plug in that new iPad Air and your retro Tamagotchi at the same time. This phone-shaped charger can handle it.
When your devices are fully charged, the LCD graphics indicate the bank’s power level so you know when it’s time to recharge. The LCD also displays fun little animations as it works to bring your tech back to life.
I also bought a 28w Solar panel to pair with it while trekking – I can charge it fully in just a few hours, in the current climate with energy prices, it was a no-brainer!
I have purchased a few different battery packs and power banks and this is hands down the best of the lot. It’s expensive but it does exactly what I need. Using the charger from my MacBook the power bank is fully charged within an hour – average charging speed for me is 130w. Once fully charged I can get 3+ full iPhone 12 charges which means I can take this power bank with me when I am out for a day or two knowing I’ll always have enough charge for my iPhone.
Awesome charger for everything, bought it on sale for 99.99 and i see prices have gone up now.
i use a 160w charger to charge this and it takes about 40 minutes to charge to 100% from empty, delivering approc 135-140w into charger
love how it charges my iphone 14 pro max at full speed of 26 or 27W, however apply only supply a 20w charger so i always use this to charge my iphone very quickly, it charges 1% in about 50 seconds so it is definitly super fast.
It also has full suport for the Samsung SUperfast 2 charging speed so quickly charges up samsung ultra s22/23 i have also used it to charge by DJI mini 3 pro drone and batteries which often charge ar around 30-35w.
also handy for laptop charging macbook pro at full speed via thir portable charger.
I have just under 100 battery cycles on this since (november 2022) and it is still showing 100% battery health, so should hopefully last me a very long time
I’ve traveled a fair bit with this power bank so far. As such it has had its fair share of drops and knocks, and not so much as a scratch to show for it.
It’ll easily keep my phone and laptops charged and adds a few hours to their battery life. I can also confirm the 140W rating and happily report that the included cable is capable of delivering that much power without a problem.
The remaining time estimate shown on the screen, as well as the metrics it tracks, are quite accurate (I checked!) and I appreciate the inclusion of a battery health meter.
The power bank even comes with a few easter eggs, which I found quite entertaining when I found them!
Been using this powerbank for around a week now. I also had the 140w charger too, it come with a 140w charge lead with the powerbank, and oh boy does it charge fast wow. The Anker 737 powerbank had 20% charge out of the box, so i put it to the test. Plugged in to c1 Port, and it was flying up. Max watt i got it upto and showing on the powerbank 132w, (shock) .
It went from 20% to 100% full charge in about 40 minutes, so 0-100, i could fully charge it in around 50-55 minutes, around there, crazy fast.
One i think didn’t like tho, and had to take a star off, i got a Huawei p30 pro phone, and it doesn’t super charge my phone to the 40w max phone currently supports, which is a really shame to be honest. That’s what I mainly had the powerbank for, but not just that tho. It does quick charge, but doesn’t super charge it. Max watt i could get out of it was around 15w.
I reached out to Anker about it yesterday, and this was there rough reply i sent, as I see, the phone is from Huawei P30 pro, it has its own charging tech, there might be product compatibilities in between, if you are using the the Iphone or Samsung, there would be no issue with fast charging, that was there reply, so Huawei got there own charge style tech. Gutted tho, but im still keeping it for fast charge powerbank. Its future proof tho, so if i do decide to upgrade my phone eventually, but can’t seem to still yet. Ive had the phone for not long coming up for 4 years from brand new, and its still going strong and keeping me happy. Best phone ive had anyway.
Craig
Hello,
I paired it with an USB C Plug , Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W using an Anker 765 USB C to USB C Cable and I cannot reach the charging speed mentioned in specification 100W, max I got was 87W. The difference between charging it with a 60-65W charger and the 120W Anker charger is very small.
Thank you
Using apple products can be hard sometimes specially battery wise but this battery makes everything easier.
I used more than on before, even the “good” brand ones, none can do what this doe, tells you the amount been used, time to get empty, doesn’t get really hot, trust me i tried. Summer time this year charging macbook pro 16 and iphone pro max in a hot day over 28C and manage to charge both. would recommend 100% unfortunately amazon don’t deliver power banks in my country so had to travel to get one. even that still worth i
This is a great charger in my opinion. There is a clear display so you know exactly what the input and output power is. It is fairly heavy, but I often take it with me in a rucksack. The two USB Cs don’t have very visible labelling, so on the face of it, you might not know which one you need to use to charge it up (you can use either to charge another item). In practice that has never been a problem because it is easy to remember which USB C port it is. The information about charging speed/ power is really useful. The quality of the item (like other Anker items in my experience) is second to none.
Pros
– Great capacity
– Rapid to charge / be charged
– Can charge / be charged at the same time
– Not quite the brick it looks in the pictures
– Excellent visual display
– Nice carry bag and tie for the included cable
Cons
– Needs to be set on trickle charge for a watch or other device with a small battery
– A few more instructions included would be good!
I bough this to be able to charge my 20w Phone, 60w iPad and my 45w Steam Deck at the same time if I needed to, but I mainly got it because of the display and the capacity. The Display is great if you want to monitor how many watts you devices pulls to charge it. I do think this is a great power bank but the only 2 downfalls are the price and the weight, I don’t know the exact weight but it is a bit heavy. I use a Galaxy Z Fold4 and it feels like hold 2 and a bit of that phone. Other than all that, if you need a power bank that has 140w charging and USB-C and USB-A port, then I do think this is a great product. You do get a nice little carry bag with a USB-C to USB-C cable which is nice.
One of the USB-C ports is for charging the power bank, but you can also use that same port to charge your phone or whatever you want to charge, so you have a total of 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A port for charging 3 devices at the same time. You can also charge the power bank at the same time as charging 2 other devices.
I recently purchased this charger due to my frustration with other power banks that took forever to charge my devices and themselves. However, I am delighted to report that this power bank has exceeded my expectations.
One of its standout features is its ability to charge my laptop while it’s in use, without triggering any low-powered charger warnings. Even my laptop is satisfied with the ample power output of this charger.
what sets this power bank apart is its incredible charging speed. It takes me a mere 45 minutes to charge it from 0 to 100% at an impressive 131 watts. This means I never have to wait for too long before it’s ready for action again.
I recommend this product. It has solved all my charging woes, providing fast and efficient charging for both my devices and itself. If you’re tired of sluggish power banks, this charger is the game-changer you’ve been searching for.
very well made, convenient and informative screen, I tried to charge it with a complete cable through a third-party 65-watt power supply, it charges at a maximum power of 65 watts, unfortunately there is no suitable 100+ watt power supply, I tried it with a simple 120-watt power supply, but it turned out to be not compatible, the same goes for cables not all cables fit, depends on the cable and on the device you will be charging. Fully charges my Razer blade 13 laptop in about 1.5 hours. I bought it for a laptop in the first place. Full compatibility. I managed to buy for 98, now the price for it is on average 130-150. Expensive, I recommend
First off is this Power Bank expensive? Yes
Like everyone I wish it was cheaper but as the title suggests performance doesn’t ever come cheap, I wanted this mainly for charging my laptop and ASUS Rog Ally when out and about.
Laptop pulls 75w under load and the ROG Ally 65w even more if docked so I need a Power Bank with more than 65W PD and none seem to come cheap.
I have a number of 65W and they do the job but only if devices aren’t in use
As you’ll see from images it’s a really nice piece of kit the screen is great you get info on ports in use, Wattage In and Out, Estimated Run Time based on current load, Battery Percentage, Battery Health, Total Input/Output, Number of Cycles aswell as Battery Temps.
It really is and all singing all dancing Power Bank, I also needed something I could fly with so needed to be under the recommended 100Wh limitation (comes in at 86.4) I just wish there was slightly more capacity nearer 95Wh but it is what it is
Like all Anker products very well designed and very high quality absolute no complaints in build quality.
As you may have noticed in photos and title it can supply the Wattage and Amperage needed for the 30W turbo mode for the ASUS ROG Ally, as some of photos show the APU can momentarily boost to 52w and it deals with this fine but note on this mode it’s likely only going to add about 1Hr 40Mins, I personally find 18w a nice preset (setup Manually in Armoury Crate) and this gives about 2Hr 30Mins (sometimes more) and increase even more with less demanding titles or using the 15w Performance Mode
Tested with my Ugreen 100w charger (fastest charger I have until my 140w turns up) it gets to around 90w and charges in around 1hr 20/1Hr 30
As someone who frequently relies on portable chargers for extended power on-the-go, I recently invested in the Anker Power Bank, 24,000mAh 3-Port Portable Charger with 140W Output. I must say, this power bank has exceeded my expectations and has become an essential companion in my daily life. Here’s my first-person review based on my personal experience:
Impressive Power Capacity and Performance:
The 24,000mAh capacity of the Anker Power Bank provides an exceptional amount of power. It has proven to be a true workhorse, effortlessly charging not only my smartphone but also my laptop with remarkable speed. The high 140W output ensures rapid charging, allowing me to quickly top up my devices even when I’m away from conventional power sources. This capability is particularly useful during travel or in situations where access to power outlets is limited.
Versatility and Multiple Charging Ports:
The inclusion of three charging ports on the Anker Power Bank offers great convenience. I can charge multiple devices simultaneously, eliminating the need for carrying multiple chargers or waiting for one device to charge before moving on to the next. This versatility allows me to keep my smartphone, laptop, and other gadgets powered up all at once.
Informative Display:
One standout feature of this power bank is the informative display. The built-in screen provides real-time information on the charging status, voltage, and current output. This feature is particularly helpful as it allows me to monitor the power bank’s performance and ensure that the connected devices are receiving the expected charging power. It brings a sense of assurance and eliminates any guesswork regarding the power output.
Long-lasting and Reliable:
The Anker Power Bank’s large capacity allows for extended usage without the need for frequent recharging. I’ve been able to power devices such as a USB fan for an extended period, and the power bank still retains a significant charge. This reliability gives me peace of mind, knowing that I have a dependable power source that can last for a considerable duration.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Anker Power Bank, 24,000mAh 3-Port Portable Charger with 140W Output has proven to be an exceptional investment. Its impressive power capacity, rapid charging capabilities, and multiple charging ports make it a versatile and reliable companion for anyone in need of extended power on-the-go. The informative display adds to its convenience, allowing for easy monitoring of the power bank’s performance. While the price may be higher compared to other power banks, the Anker Power Bank delivers in terms of performance, durability, and long-lasting power. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality portable charging solution that can handle demanding devices with ease.
The only reason I’m not giving all 5 stars is that it has limited support for China imported mobile phones.
I have 2 rescent models: Vivo x90 pro+ and Oppo find x6 pro
Both charging at 18-20w max when plugged in at 20% phone battery level. (no matter which output port used).
Oppo uses Vooc protocol and Vivo uses 9V2A Twin engine. Please bear this in mind when oredering this product.
Charging laptops and powerbank charge itself works well at 80w (had not got a chace to test it with 100w+ adapter).
Hope this is helpfull.
Really powerful battery bank useful for devices that draw a lot of power. Total output is 140w which is enough to power a laptop while in use; when using multiple devices this output will be split between them. I bought this for a long trip recently and it performed perfectly on every device we used it with. The main reason I got it was for a Steam Deck to give a bit more game time. The maximum draw I see when playing is around 35w, though it’s usually around 28-30w so this battery would be powerful enough to charge two of them simultaneously (albeit, with only about 1hr extra charge per console). For the most demanding games it will give around 2 hours of extra time, with less power-hungry games it will manage a lot more. It works great with our phones/ tablets with everything fast charging.
One of the best things about it is the little screen which tells you how much power is being input/ output on each connection, and the remaining battery time/ charge time. This is super useful when gaming to know how long you have left, or when charging so you know exactly when it will be done. The next best thing is how fast the battery charges; when using a 100w charger this thing flies and will be fully charged from empty in less than an hour. I rarely ran it down completely so I usually find myself topping it off from 50% which it does in about 25 minutes. You do need a powerful charger to get the best out of it though, and anything over 100w is quite expensive right now. I’m using a Ugreen Nexode 100w charger which are around 50-60 at the time of this review. If you want a full 140w+ charger you can expect to pay well over 100. Also key is what kind of cable you use, be sure to buy quality, properly rated cables if you want the fastest charging.
Good Points
– fast charging
– useful screen
– feels quality
– multiple outputs
– small enough capacity to be carried on a plane
Bad points
– it’s heavy and can be a bit of a pain to carry around for less demanding charging duties
– capacity is large but could have been larger and still comply with air regulations, would have been nice
– requires a powerful, expensive charger to get the best out of i
I was really debating spending 100 on a power pack but since I got it I really see the value. It’s a beast! I’ve got a Samsung using 45w charger and it charged in 1 and a half hours from 20-30%. I got it to 100% and I’m still using it to charge my phone It’s definitely worth the money
Charges from empty in about 40 minutes from a MacBook Pro 16 charger. Will charge multiple devices, including laptops. Clever stats on charging activity via the geeky screen. Love it!
Expensive but quality product. Solid and appears to be very well built. Fast charge and recharge. Would recommend.
Bought to keep my Steam Deck going a bit longer. On a game like Cyberpunk I get 90-100 minutes run time on the internal battery. Plugging this in gives me another 3 hours while playing and charging at the same time.
A fantastic product – charges fast itself (if you have the right non supplied charger), charges two devices at the same time. Reacts to changes in configuration then changes what it’s doing to charge your items at the fastest rate it can. (Or trickle charge if you want).
I love the screen which tells you exactly what is going on at a glance. Excellent.
I don’t normally review things but I rate this product very highly! Having lived with it for a bit I’ve found that:
– It can charge my Macbook Air 2021 to from 0 to 100% in about 65% of capacity so probably higher than advertised 1.2 laptop charges, more like 1.4 on these M1 Macs.
– You could probably do a week of charging for a normal Smartphone off one 100% battery charge.
– I have a Steamdeck and it’s able to give me about 4.5 hours playtime depending on what I’m running.
– It “rapid charges” every device I’ve tried – Macbook, OnePlus 7 Pro, iPhone 13, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Steamdeck.
– The little screen on it seems like a gimmick but has proved to be very useful and unobtrusive. It’s useful to see how much battery is left, what rate devices are charging at etc. Really useful.
– It’s noticeably heavy in the hand so I was a bit worried about travelling, but in a backpack I have to say I barely notice it and it’s been more useful than carrying around some of my other packs because it rapid charges and I don’t have to leave my smartphone in my bag so it can trickle charge for hours.
– Build quality is A++ – it’s a really nice finish, well built, looks nice if you actually care what your battery pack looks like!
– Comes with a short USB-C – USB-C charging cable (about 6″ long) and a little cotton carry bag. I would personally get some high capacity, longer charging cables. I bought some rated for 100W which it can deliver although highest I’ve managed to find is a 40W draw off the Mac.
A few things to note before buying:
– There’s no charger boxed in so you will need a 40w USB-C charger to charge it at highest rate – most modern smartphones or laptops will have one rated that high. It will not charge off low power USB-C connections, e.g. the hub in my Dell Monitor (which my MacBook Air will charge off), so you may want to factor this into your purchase.
– It is a more expensive device relative to others but I think if you travel a lot and you need the capacity this is an excellent device. They have not skimped on the quality and it is now part of my daily carry.
– The quoted “120W” charging is an aggregate of all 3 ports (1xUSB-3.1, 2xUSB-C) at full rate. So for example you could charge a laptop, a smartphone and a camera all at once, all at full power (I think. I can’t say I’ve ever tried to do this!). You can’t plug a kettle into it 😉
Thanks.
Great product, good bargain in the sale that I managed to purchase this. Able to charge at least two smartphones and a laptop which is pretty decent storage. Love Anker products.
Compact and full of juice. Anker made so it’s quality and the battery pack is worth it. Helpe to keep my steam deck and other device charged multiple times. The screen is great for info and stats as well. Solid item and quality!
This 737 is a power beast for the size.
Unpacked it and plugged it in to charge.
Used the supplied 140W Cable and a 140W O/P Charger.
The display indicator showed there was 30% charge prior to me connecting it up.
It was fully charged in 30 minutes.
I discharged it by leaving it connected to my laptop and drained it to zero.
Connected again as above – and it was fully charged in 45 minutes.
The display showed it was receiving 133 Watts from the charger (there is always some loss).
I connected the battery to various devices including laptops phones batteries and headphones etc etc.
It performed flawlessly.
I purchased additional USB C to C Cables with ratings of 240W and these will replace my older slower cables.
Now going to advertise for sale my Omni Pro purchased in June……
Very happy – so far.
Absolutely superb and an absolute beast which will charge multiple phones, tablets etc.
I actually got it for steam deck and would highly recommend as extends play time significantly
Firstly, as a pure charger its the best i have used.. however if you’re trying to charge from this while powering the charger it will only charge at power being delivered to it.. So if i have a Macbook Pro which can take a chrage of 100W but i am charging this unit at 40W from the mains, it will not charge the computer at more than 40W. This is a bit of a dissapointment as i wanted to use this always plugged in when not travelliing and take advantage of it’s super high changing rates… Either need to buy a more powerful charger or leave it unplugged and charge it periodically..
Although a pricey charger it really is a great bit of kit. Bought primarily to supplement the poor battery life in my steam deck, this doubles and even trebles its usage on AAA games. It charges really fast too if you have a quality fast charger.
The best charger I have. It’s not just how many mAh available, it’s also about how much it can deliver, hence charge equipment faster, this does the job.
It’s probably bigger and heavier than others, but it’s not really an issue and outweighed by the quality of the product. Now my go to charger.
This is a very good charger. It’s a shame that Anker don’t publish all the technical details as they are really doing themselves a disservice.
I have had Anker chargers for about 10 years and the original one is still going strong. It’s usb a though so a bit dates and the majority of my equipment (notebook, iPad, phone and steamdeck being the major ones) are usb c so it was time for an update and I wanted something that would be future proof.
This power bank fits that requirement as it supports 140W charging.
The trickle charging feature is very useful for charging my watch, mouse and headphones as most power banks switch off before they are fully charged. I have previously had to also carry a small poundland power bank which has a permanent 5V output to charge these devices but that is no longer required.
Not mentioned on the listing or their website is that this power bank supports PPS up to the full 4A. So if you have the Samsung ultra phone then it can charge at the maximum 45W.
It also supports pass through charging. So you can charge the power bank at the same time as having it provide power. Very handy if you have a powerful charger which might only have a single output. It also means you can power a notebook which might require 65W for example but are only able to use a car USB adapter which can supply 40W. The power bank will pass the power through and top it up from the internal batteries which will extend the runtime considerably.
This thing is absolutely amazing. I have two problem devices that stubbornly won’t charge to full potential with any other charger. My Dell XPS Plus laptop won’t charge unless I use the proprietary charger – but this Anker charger does work with it.
Also, my Samsung Galaxy Ultra S22 won’t charge at super fast 2.0 speeds with anything other than this.
Quite how Anker do it, I don’t know. But all I can say is that I’m absolutely thrilled with it.
It’s heavy though, because it’s also a mammoth battery. But buy it with the Anker Soundbar case and it’s easily portable. A great buy!
The price is expensive yes. But you get what you pay for. This is a proper quality item. Charges at 60w if you have a decent adapter. Fast charges anything that is plugged into it and it’s got a huge capacity. Would definitely recommend
Very slick design, love the screen. Power 140 watt is amazing. Future proof with two times usb c port and one usb A.
Not really lightweighted but light enough to use it on the go.
Used to power/ charge an olympus em1 camera and a macbook pro via a magsafe2 adaptor.
The olympus em1 is a bit picky but worked fine.
The macbook ran for an hour whilst charging from 30-80 % (60-70 W indicated) used about 60% of the anker battery.
Other devices, phones etc all worked without any problems at full power.
Its a bit pricey but the capacity and current rating are great and seem in line with specs.
Great power bank, brilliant size, digital display is very good.
With devices nowadays reaching over 30W fast charging, not many have multiple USB-C charging capability along with maximum 140W out of the pack. With this, I was able to charge an Samsung Galaxy S10e and Google Pixel 6 with no problems at all, both fast charged and the battery pack barely took a hit.
These capabilities do add some heft, but for me, the added weight is not particularly impactful as the fast charging and capacity is. The screen is also very handy for checking capacity, compared to imprecise measures such as blue dot lights lighting up such as their previous generation one, the Powercore III. Whilst the price currently is a small blot against its spec sheet, I feel it really does deserve it, it comes with a decent length, 140W capable high quality USB-C cable along with a carrying case.
TL;DR You really do get what you pay for, great features for a high price from a reliable brand.
Wonderful powerbank! I have bought a powerbrick 65W for that one to charge it and it went from 21% to 100% in approximately one hour! Now with 24k mAh, charging phone while traveling will be an ease. I used to have old model with I think 21k or 22k, yet my ex took it with her when she was moving out. Since then I felt not having powerbank, now decided to get a proper replacement. A must have and it is one of the best ones for those that don’t like small capacity powerbanks that are useless after one or two charges. Highly satisfied with that one.
I was considering so much when buying this power bank, already ordered and cancelled few times 🙁
I don’t regret to buy it: Premium finish, Compact, Showing all the information you need, Can charge for multiple devices including gaming laptop, etc
Its should be perfect if coming with hard case.
Works very well but will flag cheap cables and protect by switching off. Only change i like to see is a 99.9wh versio
Using primarily with a MacBook Pro 14″ and this Power Bank is extremely impressive. I seem to get about a full charge on the 14″. The display is a very nice touch. Comes with a 140W USB-C PD Cable. To recharge I’m using an Apple 87W PD charger.
I’m using a case from the Anker Soundcore as suggested by another reviewer, the one with the red zipper. It fits the 737 Power Bank perfectly and has space for the USB-C cable.
For the price I think it should come with a hard case and not the small pouch Anker
Only quirk I’ve found is that the USB-C ports only give non PD iPads 7W where as the USB-A port will deliver 12W. If it’s a PD Apple Device it will receive the correct power profile.
Pass through charging works but will not charge the power bank at the same time. (At least not in my experience)
Happy with this Power Bank, it’s chunky the overall battery is top quality.
Hopefully the informative display is a sign of a trend on Anker’s products, it certainly helps with the ever growing mystery of USB-C PD charging and gives great insight.
Amazing technology. Good to see the screen which allows an understanding of what’s coming in and going out of the battery pack. It’s a big pack but carries 24k and fast charges my M1 MacBook Pro 14″ with ease. It’s expensive but does it’s job well.
It charges my phone faster than any other power bank. The display is great, it shows live battery percentage, time remaining to charge the device or the power bank, charging speed for all the ports and more stats about the battery like temperature. I’m really happy with it and it also comes with a travel pouch and short 140w cable (make sure you check under the battery packaging)!
