What I like about is that it has all the tech that was stated in the description and is actually present on the CCTV System.
This is an excellent set. I have the cameras covering the whole of the outside of our home, giving us complete piece of mind. The recorded images are crystal clear, even at night. It watches over our driveway, perimeter fences, and garden. It’s nice having the cars watched over at night time. It picks up everything, even our resident hedge hog, I wouldn’t be without it. Highly recommended.
Having had an Annke system for many years it was time for it to be replaced. Wow what a difference, so much easier to use and pleasant to set up, no temper tantrums along the way. Incredibly clear, great zoom. Definitely worth purchasing.
Great product, never as easy to install as you think though. Huge amount of cable to deal with. For easy installation I would definitely go for a wireless option next time.

The camera’s were really easy to install and set up, it took half a day doing it ourselves. The picture quality is amazing and the might vision much better than we expected. The app was quick and easy to install so we can view camera’s on our TV or phone from anywhere in the world. You can also look back on 365 days before it starts to record over itself. I wish we’d got them sooner. Brilliant value for money.

I bought this CCTV system to install at some stables where I also have a caravan stored. Simple to install and set up. I don’t have wi-fi connection there and need to download video clips to USB stick & transfer to my computer at home. The instructions were not very good so had to contact Annke tech support. You don’t need to be a professional to install this system
Update, initially had hard work getting customer support, but eventually, they responded with great service and solved my problems extremely well.
Purchased for use in and around a village hall. The kit really is complete ready to plug together and use. Only thing for my job was the supplied cables are 30m which was ok for most of the cameras so the additional cable set was worth buying.
Image quality is very good and really simple to set up and use.
It’s easy to view recoded content by date and time.
Overall really pleased with package. Excellent value.
Beat all my expectations I brought the set of 8 but only needed 3, this was because it was a wide angle and better than the cameras I had brought a couple of years ago. 1 of these cameras did the job of 4 of my previous ones

I bought this 2 years ago and its been one of the best investments I’ve made for my house and I’ll detail why below, but before that a few things to note.
Installing this wasn’t straightforward and putting up 8 cameras and associated cable routing isn’t easy for the basic DIYer.
– You’ll need some tools and a ladder and you’ll need to think about how the cameras and cables will attach and be routed outside and inside your house.
– The cables are long (in some cases probably a bit too long) but for some houses they may not be long enough – measure and plan.
– You need quite a few plugs where you are going locate the unit (I ended up needing 6)
– You’ll need some additional hardware (either using an existing TV or a dedicated monitor, plus a cheap mouse and keyboard).
– You’ll need to get the cables inside (I drilled a hole through the wall of my home office – you can go via loft but be mindful of length of cable you’ll need)
– You’ll need to consider how you attach to your router as it doesn’t have wifi.
That said you can probably find someone to do it all for you and advise, and the cost of fitting will still be cheaper than some of the other systems. I did it myself so I saved.
One point to make as I have had 2 years is the hard drive broke last month. Whether this was the consequence of a knock (it fell off a shelf onto the floor) or whether it just corrupted through heavy use, I’m not sure, but for 50 I got a replacement drive, reattached and it was working fine again. A bit annoying but for the sake of the benefits I had no issues replacing. This is on 24/7 so its it has a shelf life.
Now onto the benefits:
1) it works as a deterrent in a lot of situations – the night I put it up, i caught someone trying to steal my car on the drive. They saw the CCTV and scarpered. Have had several occasions where this has happened since. It doesn’t stop someone breaking in, but it is an additional deterrent. If you think of the percentage of opportunist burglars there are likely to be; a lot of them will see the CCTV and give it a miss. The most determined will still go for it, but that is a percentage of the opportunists, so you are reducing the overall odds of break in. There are a little red ring of lights around the camera so these criminals will be looking out for signs of cameras.
2) you can access the feed and recordings anywhere – the app is pretty good and you can watch live from where ever you are in the world as long as you have signal to your phone and your internet is working. I got asked by a neighbour on holiday if something had come up on CCTV, and I find the evidence and was able to send it back to them via Whatsapp. I have peace of mind that I can check it whilst at work or on holiday and take some of action.
3) the settings are vast – you can have motion detect and various other settings where you look at tagged events rather than 24 hours in on go. It is pretty easy to setup and configure to however you need it
4) the camera are good – at night and with a mask you can’t identify people from 30 yards away – but placed above doors and within 5-10 feet in the dark you get good pictures and they are pretty clear.
5) the recordings last up to a month – dependant on how you configure it, it can retain video for a long time. Less videos, lower quality of types of recording can extend recordings.
This was a great purchase and comes highly recommended.
The system arrived today and I wasted no time in unpacking and doing the setup on the bench before the full install of camera’s.
The setup process was complete in less than 5 mins and now I only have to install the camera’s in their chosen locations and I will be fully up and running.
The product is well made of sturdy materials and the camera’s are small and sleek for bullet cams.
The menu interface is Idiot proof so if anyone says they cannot figure it out, sorry then you are a real idiot.

I purchased this product to replace the dvr on my current system and was cheaper to buy with cameras , I changed 1 camera and OMG the quaility . So I ended up changing all cameras , and to top it all the dvr was so easy to set up , along with getting it on my phone also
So far so good, picture quality very good, not easy to set up and takes a while to work out how to use playback, app on mobile and pc software but eventually worked it out and okay now. Have not needed to contact tech support and hopefully will not need to. Will edit review and give an update as last dvr hard drive stopped working after a 14 months and will not be happy if this set is the same.
I purchased this to replace a Swann CCTV system that was showing it’s age.
I had a camera fail, and to replace it was extremely difficult, as the only ones available were extremely expensive and it just didn’t make sense anymore.
The main differences between this and my Swann system (other than the cost), is this system is fractionally duller in picture contrasts – but the resolution of the image is much bette
I bought the 8 camera version for my long and oddly shaped property. The outcome: the quality on the cameras is stunning and high resolution. The software from Annke is really good and *quite* intuitive, but just read the manual and online support. It worked straight out of the box and has a host of features such as motion detection (you will have to play around with sensitivity and area settings here otherwise you’ll get a LOT of notifications), recording timetables etc. The included 1TB HDD stores a LOT of footage – I’d estimate around a month if not a lot more. It gives us a lot of peace of mind, being able to monitor the entire exterior of the house as well as connect to the system via our mobile phones, tablets etc when we’re out and about or even inside the house! It’ll be invaluable security for when we’re on holiday in the future too. The actual deterrent of a legitimate CCTV system can surely not be understated either.
The installation, as expected, was the marginally tricky part – but not because of the product. Took me about 2
days in total – I’m fairly ‘handy’ but by no means a professional – so I would wager that most people could manage this. Sound out your house and make sure you have a good drill (and bits), ladder, screwdriver, CABLE TIES and electrical insulating tape available. Installing the cameras onto fascia/the house is fairly easy. You have to be creative about how to hide and protect the wires and connections that come out of the camera side – I opted for heavy cable tie use (about 2.50 for 100 cable ties on Amazon or similar) and wrapping heavily with standard electrical insulation tape – others might buy small junction boxes. I then bunched these up behind the cameras, so there is a slight unsightliness to the camera connection but it can be mitigated by proper thought-out planning and creativity! It’s now barely noticeable as I tightly tied them to the camera.
I had a long 10mm drillbit for going through the external walls, but I had to get a long 16mm (5) due to the fact that the camera (blue) BNC cable connector is 15mm. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that if you plan to put multiple BNC cables through a single hole, you will need room in that hole to accommodate the BNC cable wire(s) (~2mm each) as well as pushing another 15mm connector through. You may therefore need to drill two holes that overlap to give you the required space to push the 15mm connectors through. I then sealed up the holes with silicone sealant.
Make sure you have cable TIES as well as cable clips for routing the cables to ensure it looks neat – or you’ll end up with a mess. Plan it all out before hand. It’s very simple overall – simply decide where you want the cameras and map out how long it is – the cables that come with the product are very long, and there is an option to buy longer cables via Amazon if needed. You will also have to plan how to deal with your many many many feet of spare cable before it feeds into the CCTV monitoring box…. I opted for cable ties and an old food box!
Beware of the adjusting screws on the camera though as they ‘strip’ very easily!
You will need to make sure that you have an HDMI cable and monitor/TV for the CCTV box to connect to in order to set it up – and you need an internet router nearby to connect it to via a LAN cable. I did not do this however – I bought a ‘Powerline Extender – TP-link AV1000′ from Amazon which extends your internet through your house via the existing electrical lines and connected the LAN cable from it to the CCTV box – so you don’t technically need it to be beside the router – and it works really well from the garage of all places!
Overall, the entire operation cost me about 200 and it’s really incredible value. It’s been running for a week without any problems so far. I would highly recommend this piece of kit. The peace of mind that CCTV provides you is amazing, and with the additional functionality that the included software has, it has allowed to be notified of any visitors, cars etc. We’ve now installed a similar set up in our parents’ houses to great effect.

I bought this as an extension to our existing system which we’re really pleased with. Sadly I got the wrong thing so had to return it – but thats no fault of the seller or the product quality. Would still recommend as a start kit if you’ve not got an existing system.
After my last CCTV kit packed up, upgraded with this. The cameras are high resolution and the unit is very easy to use. It can even be networked which I was surprised to see actually worked. Decent price too.

This was surprisingly easy to put together, very little config was required, it literally is plug & play. The only challenge was channeling the cables through walls etc, but that’s my problem. Would highly recommend.
Bought this for a friend and he is pleased as punch once set up he was shocked by the quality of the picture, got this from warehouse deal so saved 40 and well worth it. Everything was there and in full working order, I was also impressed with this system it is clearer than mine and with 8 cameras cheaper than mine. This Annke system used in a 5000 sq ft studio (old warehouse) spanned by big beams and with a separate reception area and corridor with fire exit. Having read the most informative reviewS I selected this 8-camera system, based on functionality and price. This having never bought or installed a cctv system previously. Note no network available so alert functionality not activated. The configureability and performance has proven to be excellent. From setting up activity zones for each camera, increasing motion record-activation sensitivity, the effective digital zoom and night visibility this system is excellent. All connections seem robust and logically positioned, with an intuitive and extensive on-screen menu easily controlled by the supplied mouse. The separately-bought Annke cables are great value (4x30m for 22) and worked perfectly with no noticeable signal drop-off. All in all, this is an excellent system and is great value for money.
Fantastic system for the price. Very impressive. Installation is very simple, but if anything goes wrong, then following the manual is a bit of a heartache. Still persevere and it will be OK

Excellent and great value for money CCTV system. Very simple to install with excellent picture quality. One slight, and I do mean slight, gripe is that the plugs onthe back are a bit close together if you have fat fingers! Otherwise this system really is a brilliant buy.

Great little system. Only minus point so far would be the over complicated security process, maybe there should be a simpler process or those not familiar with security systems.
The Annke website has a massive amount of information however I still couldn’t get it up and running. I emailed Annke technical support and got a reply from Tim. He tried to help me several times via email but the system still didn’t want to get online. Fair play to Tim, he arranged a time and date so he could remote access my computer via team viewer. He was on time and he accessed my computer whilst I was sitting in front of it. He fixed the problem quickly and it works great now. My advice to anyone would be to request, if not offered, a session to allow the tech guys to fix the problem rather than getting wound up and wanting to throw the whole lot in the bin. Thank you Tim for your patience during our endless emails and for setting my system up. Your Boss needs to give you a pay rise!!!!!

At the time of writing this review I have had this system for two years. It was easy to install and set-up and is still going strong. On the odd occasion when I have had to look at something, it has been straight forward to view and find (like the time our kitten tried to catch a big pigeon, which was bigger than her).
Highly recommended.
These 1080p cameras tbh are not much better then the 720p. I had 720p sannce cameras before and thought it was time to upgrade to 1080p but I really didn’t get much better quality just a wider view on the cameras. if your buying cameras for the first time i recomend these cameras if your upgrading from 720p cameras I really wouldn’t bother.

Super system. 1 month of recording ,clear pictures. I use 2 cameras to observe wildlife in garden at night. Never know what goes on till you replay it.
The cameras for the price is the best. The view is very good and clear. Connections were straight forward and easy. The quality is very high and having taken time to shop around and reading reviews before I bought, I’ll say I’m very satisfied for now.
Easy install for your average DIYer. The software control panel has all the configuration settings options I could wish for and easy to setup using the Wizard guide on screen too. I have it connected to my TV by HDMI, client installed on my laptop and app on my mobile. All easy to use and remote configuration makes it easy. Whilst away from home its really reliable viewing live video. Easy enough to install with a little DIY skill. I drilled holes through the walls where I could and used cable conduit elsewhere.
UPDATE: It’s now January 2021 – almost 3 years down the line now and incredibly the system is still absolutely PERFECT. It is evidently very durable and continues to last the test of time – just delighted with the system
UPDATE: this camera has now died totally.
UPDATE 2: Im now down to 4 cameras out of 8. Ive messaged the seller and will update when i have more news. this system has only been installed 5 months so if you are thinking of buying i would recommend you look think twice.
UPDATE 3: Annke have sent me a new camera to replace the water damaged one, and a new power supply to spread the load between the others that are dropping off. I haven’t had a chance to set them up yet as i am in the middle of moving house but the customer service has been superb. I will add a further update once i have the new kit installed.
After searching for a cctv system for some and getting so confused I settled on this system.
I have to say I was not sure the system would be any good but went by the reviews and I have to say that I am not disappointed. To be honest it has exceeded my expectations.
I am still working through all the things this system can do, but so far very happy with my purchase. Had to come back after three months of the system up and running, I was reluctant to install the annke app because of all the bad reviews but I decided to try it and I have to say it does what it is supposed to do.
I am still very pleased with this product.
I somehow messed up the time on my CCTV Bella talked me through the process and made it so simple very patient and professional.

Cheap and cheerful but does the job, rather a lot of faffing getting all the cables in a bit once installed it only took a few minutes to set it up, only negative I have is the app isn’t great and playback can only be done at 1 speed so if you have several hours of footage to review you will be at it a long time, also it switches back to basic view and HD has to be turned on every time you open a camera

For the price this is an excellent product. Easy to install and set up. The app is also very good when you watch it over the internet.
Pros. Considering this product was less than 200 I found it good value for money. Its was essentially plug and play, The device works well through HDMI to our TV. Connection to the Windows Computer by way of Ethernet and Modem was obtained using the user setup book, but was difficult to follow. However perseverance prevailed and once I filled in the blanks from the booklet set up to our PC was successful. The system can only be used on the PC via Internet Explorer. Obtaining the iPhone app was straight forward and once I understood the Setup instructions am able to maintain uninterrupted connection through WiFi at any location over 4G and HotSpots. The default setting for compression is Basic, changing to H.264+ compression showed no discernible loss in picture quality, but the compression was much greater. On Basic with the 8 cameras operating I obtained a few hours short of 14 days continual recording. I have yet to fully saturate the 1TB HDD so I cannot state from use how much can be stored but it appears to be more much more than adequate for home use giving no excuse to purchase a larger HDD. Picture quality is good for the price of the unit in both day and Night time. See sample photograph.
Cons. My system was intended for EXTERNAL observations ONLY. The Motion Detection is too sensitive and while it did give positive alarms on persons entering the protected zones, I found it was constantly giving false negative alarms and together with e-mail warnings I was rapidly inundated. I spent a full week trying to fine-tune the system. It was so bad I had no option but to reset the system to factory defaults to ensure all alarms were cancelled. I came to conclusion that the motion detection was for INDOOR use only But that aside it is still a reasonable system for the price. I would recommend the system with the caveat for the limitations i have mentioned above.

You can view the system through your TV or computer monitor, but you can also access it through Annke’s app which is very easy to use.

Very easy to setup, being able to view my cameras from anywhere in the world from my mobile phone is so simple to setup compared to my previous system. Vast improvement of video quality compared to my old system too. Very happy with them. Still early days yet, to see how reliable or fault free the system & cameras are. Good night image quality. Received system with 1 faulty camera, the image kept flickering, i am only using 6 of the 8 camera so i swapped it over and now all 6 cameras working great. I messaged the seller about faulty camera and they sent a replacement straight out, brilliant service. Overall very happy so far.
Struggling to set up the part where it emails you if motion is detected, might need to call to be talked through this. Other than that the opicture quality is fantastic, well worth the money!
Brilliant set up. Simple plug and play. And also using the app makes it great to monitor the cameras from else where. Just wish there were more ports to add more cameras.
For the money it’s fantastic. Easy to set up even getting it to work online and onto your phone is straight forward.
The only issue I have is when looking back at footage on your phone, it gives a warning saying live view will stop in 10 seconds and starts counting down because of data limit reached. Which I don’t understand at all.
If anyone knows how to stop this it would be appreciated.

This is a high quality unit. The key feature is the software used. It’s is a variant found in hinkvision units which are more expensive. You have full control of how you want to set up motion detect and cross the line features also. I have not set up wireless..
Money was well spent and value was had
But it’s great when it’s set up and connected to a router. – I installed all the software, and set it up remotely from a PC, and now can watch from either PC or TV. The picture is awesome, both night and day.
Be patient, follow the instructions and ASK for help if you get stuck. This is a superb system, but the instructions are pretty dire.

Very good CCTV system. Very easy to set up just follow the instructions and that’s it really. Very happy with the results. We have had no problems so far. Camera quality is amazing. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a reliable CCTV system.
For the price this is excellent. The only problem we have is the change from dark to light. It appears our lights are not strong enough for it to recognise the change. I have to shine a light onto the cameras for it to go from black and white to colour. The company are sending me some new cameras to see if that helps. The system itself is fantastic for the price you pay. Loads of storage on the disc and playback and different camera options are what you’d get on a much more expensive system.
The system was purchased brand new yet we couldn’t add a password or pattern because the system kept telling us wrong password/pattern.
I believe the system was in fact a returned item although I paid full price.
On my recommendation, my friend purchased the exact same product and had absolutely no issues, they simply plugged it in and set their password and pattern and away they went.
The system arrived on time and we’ll boxed, after running the cables and fitting the cameras etc the dvr looks good quality.
The cameras are plastic so no rust, and they look very good value for the money.
Setup was pretty easy, I used a hdmi cable in the attic with a small tv, with a lan cable down to my router in the lounge, once set up you can leave the dvr in the loft and run the whole system from your laptop, or minor functions from your smartphone.
The picture quality from the 8 cameras is very good, and the night vision is equally as good.
There are lots of additional features and a user manual on the cd provided.
I’m a lorry driver and am away from the house quite often, and the live view on my phone means I can see what’s happening all around the house day or night.
The extra feature of setting up email alerts is brilliant, sending you email if the cameras are triggered by motion, or the cameras are tampered with, I have not had time to set up everything but right out of the box you will have enough to protect your property.
I can recommend this system 100% it’ is exellent value for money.
As for sannce the vendor, they are fantastic, they called me from China and helped me with a problem with my sky router, nothing was too much trouble for them, they where fluent in English and very polite and helpful.
If your looking for a well made quality security system at an absolutely bargain price, this is the one for you.

The picture is great and I am happy to fully recommend the product and the company which provides it. They deserve 5 stars.
You have to be careful no to over tighten the cam fit8ngs as these are plastic, but the cams themselves have excellent clarity even during periods of darkness.
Remote access is a bit fiddly to set up, but using the iOS and android apps to remote view was easy tos et up and use, contacted support regarding remote viewing and was answered very quickly with references to knowledge base articles.
Had a problem with one cam lens being cracked, but on contacting the company they sent me a replacement straightaway, service was very good.

Really happy with this system. The quality of the picture is perfect. The support received in setting it up has been brilliant. The push notifications that I was expecting did not work. However I managed to get the system set up on Blue Iris which does support this function.
my only problem with this product is it came with 1tb hdd which is suppose to record for 10 days and it only does 24hrs . if i leave my home for 2 days and something happens on day one i’ve got no footage as everything is erased at midnight every night.
Just finished setting it up and really pleased with the pictures both day and night vision. It was just plug in and follow a few clicks of the mouse and it’s done. Also just scan on your phone and you are set up to watch in real time couldn’t be easier.
Works a treat but you need active x on a computer to be able to use a computer to Mo it or the feeds. Active x being a Microsoft technology means you can use it on Mac or Linux (or raspberry pi)
This is an excellent product for the price, the quality is very good and the image quality of the cameras both day and night is also good, and you can’t go wrong with eight cameras being supplied. set up up is very straight forward, the system comes complete with all the cabling required although do make sure you check what length of cable you need for your property as the cable supplied is about 18Mtr each which should be more then enough for most properties. All in all I would recommend this system as it works very well on my home
Remember if you can not see the lense it can not see you
Good picture quality. There are better ones on the market but for monitoring purposes it can’t be beaten for the price
This is a replacement for a swann 8 ch setup I previously had and have had nothing but Trouble with remote viewing
Up to now everything is excellent simple to set up and connect away from home, (just scann the QR codes and your away) instructions very vague and can use quite a bit of bandwidth when connecting away from home as I have already said up till now very good and an excellent price

You do need to attach a speaker and your own microphones and assosiated cables but all availabe for a few pounds. The picture replay is good, and my system paid for itself within 72 hrs when it caught a supllier making a mistake and injuring a member of staff (slightly).On seeing the vidio, it was hands up yup send us the bill.
Nice. Its been in a month now and am so happy I went to the trouble of ordering it. Peace of mind. Priceless.
