These are perfect for when I’m swimming in the sea, they fit comfortably and I like the cases they come in. These really do make for waterproof ears whilst swimming. Cannot fault these ear plugs.
ATA 3 Pairs Swimming Ear Plugs for Adults.
3x Ear plugs with individual cases. They work just as described. The silicone is soft and thin around the edge with the centre plug slightly thicker. They felt comfortable and secure, they didn’t fall out whilst using them swimming.
It’s nice to have ear plugs with cases it makes them easier to travel with. One thing I think they could improve is making the L and R symbols more visible, I didn’t even notice them at first.
These swim earplugs are amazing!!! They are really soft, easy to put in your ears, and feel extremely comfortable. You can feel how secure they are and you can feel how they seal the ear, they are not going anywhere. There are 3 pairs, 3 different colours so you know who’s is who’s. They come set in a lovely convenient case which has holes in them not only to mount them easier but I’m guessing will allow any water to drain out. These also come in a convenient zip lock pouch so you keep them all together. Well worth getting if you go swimming and have sensitive ears like mine. You can barely feel you have these on yet they feel nice so nice too.
3 pairs of Ear Plugs, each in their own carry case.
There are 3 pairs, one blue, one pink and one white.
I need to keep my inner ear dry when showering, these do the job well.
Easy to fit, and really comfortable to wear. They keep the water out while showering so I don’t see why they won’t work just as well, or better due to the water pressure, when swimming.
I only ever swim about once a year while on holiday so I’ll update the review if I go for a dip this year.
These plugs work well, and were easy to insert. They come in there own carry case and are different colours so we all know which ones are ours when we go to the pool.
Bought for grandson, he says they’re comfy to wear & keep water out.
I have picked up both adult and child sizes of these plugs for me and my son for our upcoming holiday where we hope to be doing a lot of snorkelling and I have always suffered with water in my ears, so this seems like the perfect solution.
Each set of plugs are in their own pod, and you get 3 pods inside the bag, so you can safely take 1 set with you while still keeping both them and the one left behind clean and hygienic.
The plugs are labelled for left and right but it can be a little hard to see, each plug has a small cone like handle making it easier to place into and remove from the ear. I found the plugs to sit nicely inside my ear and while testing in the shower I didn’t notice any water getting through so all signs point to this being a success.
My only issues was the fact that being as I ordered 2 different size packs which both came at the same time there was no indication on the packs to easily identify which size was which, luckily there was a code on the back of the pack which matched my order numbers but a simple marking on the packaging would be a great help.
I usually use the mouldable wax-type earplugs when I swim, but they pick up dirt easily and don’t last long. I thought I’d give these a try instead, and I’m glad I did. I really, really like them
The fit was perfect for me. However, a small point to note is that when you open the storage case, the plug for your left ear is on the right of the box, and the plug for your right ear is on the left. Confusing. They will fit in the wrong ear, but not very well. Each plug has L or R stamped on it, but it’s really hard to see. Especially if it’s in your ear…
Anyway, with the right plug in the right ear (and the right plug in the left ear, if you see what I mean), I found them to be really comfortable. I barely noticed them. The sound attenuation is about the same on dry land, meaning I could hear very little. Of course, that means that everyone in the pool wants to have a chat, which I find really annoying.
In the water, the plugs were very effective. The external seal means the water pressure pushes the plug firmly into your ear canal but can’t push it so far that it becomes uncomfortable. I got no water in my ears whatsoever, and I didn’t need to adjust the plugs at all during a couple of miles of swimming. I prefer an open-water-style neoprene swimming cap which covers my ears. These plugs are not affected in any way by that, as the ‘knob’ to pull them out is very short.
The plugs also do a really good job of muting the sound of the bubbles rushing past my head as I breathe out underwater. I often find that can be pretty loud if my earplugs aren’t sealing properly. Today’s swim was refreshingly quiet.
When I’m swimming I need to get into a comfortable rhythm. If something’s not right – goggles being annoying, cap too tight, a tuft of my hair sticking out of the cap and flapping about, or my earplugs not sealing properly, I can’t ‘get into the zone’. A pair of earplugs might not seem much, but it can be the difference between a sub-30-minute mile or a frustrating and tiring 35-40 minute mile.
If these plugs were a fiver a pair, I’d call them a winner and recommend them. I was astonished to discover that they are just 4 for three pairs. Bargain. I’ve bought two more packs. With my own money!
