This was my first experience with slacklining and I love it. The kit has everything you need included. It is easy to set up and take down, I like to take mine down to keep it out of the elements. The tree protectors are great to have as it will keep our trees from damages. Lots of fun!
Easy to set up. All you need is two sturdy trees or poles. Comes with all the necessary instructions.
It is seriously strong, very long, they definitely understand the need of those interested on their products, they even think about the trees, it is also large, allowing more comfortably jumps.
They also have bright and beautiful colours
So much fun. Such a giggle too. Fairly easy to fix up. Good for the whole family. Comes with a nice carry bag for storage.
This is a truly great starter kit for beginners.
I have tried a slackline before just once or twice without much success. It was very hard for me to stand still, not to mention try to walk…
Inside the box, you will find not only the main slackline( comprised of the long tape and a shorter one with the big ratchet attached ), but also a set of two tree protectors, a small carry bag/backpack, and an additional, thinner line to be used above as support when learning.
This small addition( a higher line you can use to hold yourself at the first stage of learning ) has proved to be crucial for quicker learning of how to balance while standing/walking on the slackline.
It also made a lot of fun for my 4-year-old to try along with me( of course I had to lower the top line to fit his height ). Now, after a few tries, I feel much more confident and try to walk without using additional support. Great exercise, fun, and healthy activity for the whole family.
The small size and an included carry bag make it easy to travel with and to set up the slackline in very interesting places of your choice.
The carry bag has a very narrow cord to put on your arm/back. Due to the weight of the whole set, it is not comfortable to carry it on your back for longer than a few minutes. I use another bag I had already that has wide, comfortable straps now.
Overall, great quality product, fun to try and very addictive 😉
Highly recommended !
This is excellent, I hadn’t heard of it before and now the kids are on it every day, before breakfast, after school and all the random times in between one of them will pop out for a quick go. We have 4 kids 10 and under with the youngest being 3 in a week or so and they are all in it, it does stretch but always returns to the same tension, stretching when I go on but not moving when our 2 year old goes on it. The older ones practice their routines and the 2 year old just holds on and side steps across and back.
The quality is superb and it’s very easy to setup. Each end has a bite that you thread the line through and it angles the line flat without any bother. The tree protector pads work well and stop any damage to both the line and the tree.
The ratchet is well made, in fact it all is, and you can really pull it tight. The first go I was worried about damaging the line but now I’m just conscious of not pulling down any trees.
It says it’s been tested to 3 tonnes but obviously only one person on at a time (obviously our kids really listen to that) and it easily takes big grown ups as well. In fact we had a birthday party and before I realised 6 kids went out and all jumped on it at once so the line was touching the floor but it sprang back to tension and it didn’t bat an eyelid, the only amusing but not amusing problem we had was when our 2 year old was on the middle slowly edging across then her sister jumped on as well which pushed the line down a foot and popped the training hand hold line up and out of her hand and in slow motion she balanced for a few seconds then fell in a straddle down on the line and spun sideways down onto her face.
I can’t recommend this enough, it’s so easy to setup and take down, we take it with us on picnics and holiday now it’s such good fun for the kids and even though obviously only one person is allowed, playing the transport team cones from one end to the other while crossing in the middle and not being allowed to touch each other would be a great fun game, if health and safety allowed it of course.
I got this for my son, who is into climbing and activities like that.
He’s reported back as being quite impressed with it. It is simple enough to use and of a very good quality and it looks like it will last a good long time.
He will enjoy it, where it would worry me, as I can fall off my feet at ground level.
Recommended.
This is so much fun! Perfect to take along for family picnics as it’s fun for all ages! The straps are good quality and built to last. We don’t have trees in the garden but they are easy enough to take along to the park or on holiday. You can adjust the length to be the distance between trees up to 18M. It has some pads to prevent damage to the trees to! The teenagers have thought it was brilliant fun.
I have to say I am always drawn to anything acrobatic or something you would see in a circus so I was super excited to try this, and it didn’t disappoint. I was so impressed with the quality of the kit, it is quite weighty and is presented beautifully in a lovely box.
Inside the slack lines and ratchets are great quality and easy to set up. There is a book that also comes with it which makes it easy for beginners such as myself to give it a go in no time!
Very impressed with the quality and price. This is so much fun to mess around with!
Of all the things I’ve done that might seriously injure me this is the coolest. Everything in the kit was quality, from the box to the instructions. The gear is sturdy & built to last. I’ve had tow straps for my truck that weren’t this sturdy.
This portable Barefoot Slackline has colorful and fun bright colors that works perfectly.
This 60-foot slackline features a large line that is simple to start on even for youngsters. The ratchets are easy & secure to use because they include handles. In order to prevent the slack line from wearing away the bark on tree trunks, it also has bark guards that wrap around them. This set contains 1pc. of 18m Barefoot Slackline with loop, 1pc. of Ratchet and Loop, 1pc. of Training Line with small ratchet, 2pcs. of Tree Protectors, 1pc. of Drawstring Travel Bag, 1 pc. of “How to Slackline” booklet, and a Quick Setup Card.
We got to use this on our family day outside. I’m not an expert on this but we followed the instructions and got it installed easily. The fact that the slackline is suited for both adults and children is something I find very exciting so everyone can join. Everyone in our family has tried and failed to do it correctly since it is difficult and requires a lot of practice. It’s really fun and also a great way to work out your body while enjoying.
Overall, I think it’s a fun activity you can enjoy with the family for the price of 24.95. I highly recommend it.
This is a great complete slackline set for a bit of outdoor fun. I honestly didn’t know this was even a thing and had I known earlier I would have more than likely got a set sooner.
The quality of the lines and ratchets are very good, everything feels very strong and robust. I like that you get tree protectors too which helps not harm or damage the trees. It’s really easy to setup and once everything is setup it a good amount of fun for the whole family to have a try. I also like that there is a free book with a lot a great additional info.
Overall, I am actually quite impressed with this and feel it might be a bit of a hidden gem.
I’m reviewing this as a complete novice. I was fascinated with this to be honest, I have never heard of slack-lining so it’s all new to me. I’m 65 but this looks fun and I’m more than willing to spend some time ‘having a go’. You receive a very colourful box and in the box is everything you need apparently. Ratchets for tightening the slack line, not too tight apparently, that’s not the way to do it. Great looking instructions for people like me. Everything looks heavy duty and strong and colourful, oh and safe which of course is ultra important. This looks safe for everyone, kids and adults but of course to be used with adult supervision. Curiously enough you get two green baize covers with velcro to fasten to go around tree trunks and the slack lines are tightened over these covers so as not to damage tree bark. Good fun at just under 25 Five stars for such good value also.
This is a really cool idea that’s lots of fun for all ages. You need two strong trees to use, so if you don’t have that in the garden (as we don’t) it’s portable enough to take out to the park or woods and set up for some fun with a picnic and spend a few hours
The pack comes with some protectors so it doesn’t cause harm to the tree.
You have the bottom slack line and a top line to help balance, which unless you’re really good you will probably need! You can set the distance between these however you like, to suit kids or adults and also you can set the bottom line whatever distance from the floor you feel more comfortable (lower is easier)
It’s not too hard to set up and the more you use it, the more familiar you get so it will become quicker
Great idea to make a trip to the park or woods more fun for the kids
Apparently these ratchet straps are for stretching between trees, then you try and walk on them.
To that end you get some padded green things to warp around a tree so the bark is not damaged. This is an important consideration as the living tree is essentially the bark, compromise that entirely and the tree will die.
As ratchet straps go these are well made. Strong nylon strap is secured by well engineered ratchets that allow you to tension the strap well beyond that possible with a rope – even with a truckers hitch.
In this respect if I was to walk on a ratchet strap like a tight rope – and the idea has never occurred to me, then I would say these are excellent examples for that.
Equally if you just need to tie something down – they ‘d do that too.
But seriously these are an entertaining way to leverage fun from your garden – providing you have suitable trees.
This kit is good quality and well designed. It was surprisingly easy to put up and it feels sturdy and secure. We found trying to walk across the lines great fun and good exercise. I love the fact that it’s suitable for different ages and abilities. The current price is 25 which is amazing value for money.
Once you’ve set it up once, it’s really easy to set up and take down. Comes with tree protectors but not the ability to actually slackline walk. Brilliant exercise, though.
Our son loves the outdoors so we’ll be using this when he’s a little older. It’s easy to use and set up and is great fun for young and old.
I’m no expert when it comes to slacklining but what I do know is you attach the lines between two trees. so that you can walk on it, or practice balancing. It’s tricky and everyone in this household have tried and failed to get it right as it takes a lot of practice. We may get there in the end or we may not but either way, this is a great kit for beginners and includes tree protectors and very strong ratchets.
From the little I know, I can say that I would recommend these sets for people just starting out. As they are all strong lines they are also suitable for other uses(the big line, not so much the thin one)
Good set, reasonable price, and very easy to attach between two trees. The ratchet strap helps with getting the right tension. The bag for all the bits helps with storage too. Overall, very impressed. Good for a beginner.
We now have this line running across our garden, and despite all being awful at it and needing loads more practice we have had great fun. The kit includes the two pieces needs for the slack line, the two pieces needs for the top hand line if you need it (we certainly do), two tree protector pieces and a bag to carry them all in.
The tree protectors are felt with a bit of Velcro and are designed to stop the slackline cutting into the bark and damaging it, but unfortunately, they were too small for the trees we have in our garden. With a lot a rejigging I managed to get them under the line but they don’t cover the whole tree and wouldn’t stay up without a second pair of hands moving them as we tightened the line as they only covered about of the diameter and so we couldn’t Velcro them. The small section of the slack line has a sew loop at one end and you feed the ratchet part through. The other piece f the slack line again has a loop at one end and the majority of the 15m length that gain you feed through the loop. You then run the slackline across to the ratchet and then tighten the line. The first few times we did struggle to ensure the line laid flat- the trick they describe on the instructions is to make sure when the line comes through the loop that it forms a little valley so it will lay flat later. In order to make sure the line doesn’t dip too much in the middle it needs to be ratcheted really, really tight. They height that suits our young children (8 and 11) to practice with means that if Dad also has a go the line is touching the floor. Hopefully as they get more confident, we can move it higher to suit everyone. We have already moved the upper line higher as having it at chest height seemed to make us more unstable than having it over our head. The slackline had branding and seemed better made. They upper line was matching colour but no branding and the ratchet seemed more basic (less grip/padding on the handle so more painful to use). The ratchet on the slackline was easy to tighten but to release at the end was much trickier and two of us manged to hurt/cut our fingers using it.
Depsite a few niggles this seems to be a greta value set and gave us hours of fu
Barefoot Slackline Kit.
My grandsons love to try new things and a slackline was their summer request. This set is so easy to set-up and use. All the components needed are included. Detailed instructions are also included. I have never seen my grandsons having so much fun. What I particularly like is the fact the slackline is suitable for adults, as well as children. Everyone has fun, and keeping fit at the same time.
This slackline is built of good quality, the clamp, the line, I especially like that it comes with a bark protector so the tree isn’t damaged. It works really well
This is a great way to exercise in a fun way, it tests your balance and core strength
Folds up nicely which makes it very portable, my son takes it out with him on a daily.
Slacklines are great exercise that can improves balance and also strengthen your core.
It’s especially great for your legs!
An easy straight forward set up and once in place it’s feels safe and secure.
Its portable and you can pick it up and take it wherever you want with the added bell of having its only bag to carry it in.
It’s a fun activity that can be used by both adults and children.
We have had hilarious fun with this slack line on holiday, even the oldies have taken to getting quite serious about how far they can make it! The price point is pretty exceptional as well coming in under anything else in the recommended items similar to this at 25. Our four year old has really enjoyed balancing along it too and we have spent a lot of time in the garden happily wandering up and down. He can now manage to make the whole stretch lightly touching my hands each side for balance.
You get the main line as well as a support line which you can rig above your head for support along with the tree guards and a little booklet to give you some tips and tricks. It has been the highlight of our holiday so far and my uncle is considering buying one to take home to his farm and grandchildren.
A very much recommend from me, everything has worked flawlessly and although I haven’t tried other sets to compare it to we have had a lot of fun with this one!
