Bose QuietComfort Earbuds
These sleek wireless earbuds are designed with breakthrough acoustic innovations and Bose Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology. Together, they produce crisp, clear audio and rich, deep bass over a bed of virtual silence — so you can hear all kinds of details that typically get lost.

QuietComfort Earbuds
Rule the Quiet.
Better sound begins with better silence. That’s why Bose engineered QuietComfort Earbuds with world-class noise cancelling and high-fidelity audio, plus StayHear Max tips for extra comfort. Because when you eliminate distractions, music goes up and so does passion.
Noise Cancelling
True quiet.
It starts with soft, silicone eartips that passively block some noise. But Bose Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology provides the true quiet. Hidden microphones monitor the sounds around you and project the opposite signal to cancel unwanted noise.
Aware mode
Full transparency. Greater awareness.
It’s not just turning off noise cancelling—it’s more. Microphones pick up sounds around you, then play them naturally through the earbuds. It sounds—and feels—like you aren’t wearing earbuds at all. So you can hear your music and more of your surroundings at the same time.
Secure & comfortable fit
Comfort that stays with you.
Every surface that touches your ear is made from soft silicone—not hard plastic. StayHear Max eartips are designed with an umbrella-shaped nozzle and extended fin to provide extra comfort and stability, for as long as you wear them. Three sizes of eartips are included to help you find your ideal fit.
Touch controls
Tap, swipe, press.
Say goodbye to buttons. These wireless earbuds feature an intuitive touch interface accessed by the simple tap, swipe or press of a finger. Choose your noise cancelling level, control the music, summon your voice assistant and more—all at your fingertips
Sweat & weather resistant
Sweat, rain or shine.
IPX4-rated, QC Earbuds can withstand splashes, workouts and rainy days. Acoustic mesh in the ports keeps out moisture and debris, enhancing the earbuds’ overall durability.
Charging case
Play, store, charge—repeat.
The rugged charging case is designed to travel with you all day long and provides 2 additional full charges. Its magnetised interior keeps the wireless earbuds securely in place when you’re not using them. The instant you open the case lid, the earbuds begin pairing with your device.
High-fidelity audio.
Bose acoustic architecture and Volumeoptimised Active EQ keep audio clear and balanced at any volume
Crystal-clear calls.
Mics work together to reject noises around you, keeping your voice sounding clear for every call.
Long battery life.
Listen for up to 6 hours on a single charge. The charging case adds up to 12 more.
Up to 9 m range.
With Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, you can cook, code or exercise without missing a moment (or a call)
Easy setup.
Discover voice prompts for guided setup, get tips and personalise your settings in the app.

The umbrella-shaped nozzle moulds gently to the contours of your ears, creating a tight but comfortable seal that minimises outside noise—even as it enhances your music’s low, deep notes.

I got these in the last Amazon sale, they ended up being way cheaper than the ‘active’ version. Long story short is that the sound profile is excellent and has that typical BOSE sound to it. The app works fine and there is a basic EQ. You can create profiles with various noise cancellation levels too so for e.g. during a run you can still design the amount of background noise heard.
BUT…. the feedback from any sort of movement from walking, running and even sometimes just chewing food/breathing is too loud. When running you get a thudding per stride, best way I’ve found to reduce slightly is to have minimum noise cancellation on and turn the music up a bit. It’s a shame because comfort wise they are excellent for running. I’ve had to go back to my older Jabras for running, as even though they don’t have active NC, they seal well enough to still have the same result I end up with lowering the NC on the Bose earbuds. So in summary – excellent noise/cancellation, but too much feedback if using when moving around (esp walking or running).. be interested to see if the active ones were any better but not sure how they would be…
Great sound, light and compact good battery life and very efficient charging case, overall an excellent product. They are larger than the mark2 version but this is reflected in the price nearly half the price of the mark 2 version .
Was a little annoyed when I bought these and the next two days the price fell by 30. Spoke to Amazon customer service and said what can be done… I’ll send them back for a refund and order the cheaper price. They refunded the difference.
The product itself is great. I get sensory overload and these helped me get through an airport without wanting to commit murder, lol. Love the volume, controls are easy. Quality is great. My ears do start to hurt after a couple of hours though. I could do with a slightly smaller fitting.
Thought these might be too bulky, but they sit nicely in my ear, they come with different size ear buds, I wear them to the gym, not had a problem with movement or slippage, however I don’t run, so not sure how they’d fare running.
I got them in the sale too, I’m not sure I would pay full whack.
The sound is amazing. I have been depriving myself for years.
But the noise cancellation is wonderful. I used it on the plane on the way out and suddenly I was surrounded by peace and quiet in my own little world. That bubbling effect is priceless. I worked while my friends were splashing about and watching TV. It even helped me sleep when someone’s air-conditioning was making a racket.
Honestly, I’m paying for peace and it’s definitely worth it for me!
The negatives are the case is really big, the case has a catch rather than magnetic seal and it is a little fiddly, they do not have multipoint and you cannot listen using the left earbud alone.
Since the call, music and noise cancelling are so good I don’t really mind any of the negatives and would highly recommend these buds.
Do it – you won’t regret it!!
They look good, are extremely comfortable and secure to wear (I’m a cleaner by trade and wear them for upto 6 hours in a row).
Sound excellent, Voice calls are crystal clear and the ANC is amazing, I have the NC700 headphones which have excellent ANC, these are even better. Highly recommended.
I was hesitant to buy these based on the reviews, but I’m glad I did. The firmware has been updated and it allows four presets for ANC, as well as EQ and a number of options around the behaviour of the buds once they’re removed. The sound quality is brilliant, maybe not quite QC35 level but you’d struggle to complain. The ANC is powerful and blocks plenty of background noise, I haven’t tried them on a plane yet but my commute is silent.
I’ve owned for three weeks and charged once, the box keeps them topped up well and is small enough to carry with you. I note that this was one of the complaints by other purchasers, but I wouldn’t travel without the box as it keeps them safe when not in use.
Overall very happy, if you’re considering buying I’d certainly recommend.
A choice of getting the best fit for my ears
So snug
Fantastic
I’ve tried very small earbuds but still they hurt and are impossible to wear but these are a joy and I’m so happy. They are superb for music and so clear for calls .
I have nothing bad to say about them . Thank goodness my search is over. Thank you Bose and Thank you Amazon.
Firstly the fit. This can be hit or miss, as the tips provided, though in 3 different sizes, don’t accommodate all ear shapes. for me the medium and large both fit well, with the large providing the best seal, and the medium tips having the ideal sized wings for my ear shape. Ultimately I stick with the large, as the wings still work well to keep the earphones in my ears, even while jogging. The relative size of these buds compared to others, also isn’t that much of a problem. I barely notice the “bulk” people talk about in reviews. However, I’ve had a couple people try them on, with different sizes, saying that the fit isn’t quite right for them, no matter what size they try. Your mileage may vary here, however majority of people that have tried them on, have stated they fit well, and don’t feel loose.
Next the sound quality. All I can say here, is they are amazing! I’ve used the Bose app to customize the EQ to my liking, and that has made a big difference to me. The earphones out the box are very good and well balanced, however, I prefer to have a bit of a brighter sound, through increased highs, and punchier bass, so I’ve changed these accordingly. Although it isn’t the most advance EQ I’ve used (it’s only split in to 3 parts), it does a good enough job to actually modify how the buds sound, without taking a hit in quality. They are very warm sounding, with next to no distortion, even at higher volumes. I like to feel the music I listen to, that’s to say, I want the music to evoke emotion, and these earphones do exactly that, and the excellent noise cancelling adds to that effect even more.
I feel I should mention, as with all bluetooth audio devices, there is a slight static noise, but it doesn’t get in the way once the music is playing at all. Additionally, with nothing playing, the static sounds quite pleasant, as if I’m listening to a very quiet white noise machine for sleep.
Which brings me on to the noise cancelling. At the beginning, I said I was going to compare these to other headphones I’ve used too. This may be a bit unfair for this section, as noise cancelling over ears just have a higher potential when it comes to their performance, due to the way they seal fully around the ears, the size of the drivers etc. But out of all the in-ears I’ve tried, the Bose are quite comfortably the best. The only ones I’ve tried that come close are the Sonys. The Bose even perform better than a lot of noise cancelling over ears, not as well as the top ones of course, but well enough for me to give them 5 stars for the NC capability.
Build quality. The earphones and the case are made of plastic. However, they still feel high quality, with a very pleasing texture on both the buds themselves, as well as the case. I have no issues when it comes to build quality. My only gripe, and this is nitpicking, is the button to open the case. You have to press it directly in the middle of the button, and nearly all the way in to open the case, which can be an annoyance, though I don’t find it to be so. Also, my sister doesn’t like the way the case sounds when it shuts, apparently it sounds like plastic, which makes sense, as it is plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap to me. Thought I’d add that in there, as you may find that to be the case (pun intended), even if I don’t.
Overall, these are extremely good earphones, but I can only recommend them if you’re willing to spend the premium being charged for them. The law of diminishing returns applies slightly here, where the increase in price above a certain point won’t necessarily give you an equally proportionate increase in performance, but if you do want just that little bit more, and an all round very good product which ticks all the boxes, then these are the ones for you. My family all have different Airpods, including the pro, and although the Airpods pro are very lightweight, small and comfortable, they just can’t beat the noise cancelling, or the warm, very capable, and customize-able sound the Bose QC earbuds offer.
Good sound and nice feeling when I wear the earphone
ANC is excellent with a good fit in ear. It is always active however, and will pick up wind noise no matter the setting. White noise will always be present at any setting below 10, where its almost unnoticeable.
Feels heavy after a longer period of wearing them, especially if the fit in ear isn’t the best.
Touch implementation isn’t the best as there isn’t any feedback to confirm touches or swipes. You cannot customise or have either ear do the same functions. E.g. Have skip track on both ear buds.
Battery life is almost as advertised in my usage, so very good on that front!
Case is on the large side and isn’t particularly pocketable. Much more suited to a bag in my opinion. It also holds less charge than you’d think given its size.
Absolutely fantastic. I was a little unsure, given the price tag, but they were definitely worth the investment.
I have a pair of noise cancelling over-ear Bose cans, they’re superb if a little bulky.
These buds are excellent, but do take plenty of time to get the right fit and experiments with the different ear sizes, it’s worth it to get optimum results.
Sound quality doesn’t disappoint and what you’d expect from Bose, the noise cancelling is faultless!
My only niggle was getting these to pair with my Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 10, but I’m a tech so worked it out. Could be more straight forward though Bose for a 250 set of buds!
In all delighted and recommend.
Top notch! Great sound quality and external sound cancelling too
Set up was a little tricky…I’m not super tech savvy, and the earbuds needed to be updated to add the volume control swipe feature. It took me a couple of hours to get them updated and controls figured out and favourites programmed. I’m still not sure about the app, it’s not very natural to use and sometimes the earbuds don’t connect unless you dismiss the app and then start it again. However, the earbuds work without the app and you really only need it to set favourites.
Sound quality is Bose quality. It’s excellent. Noise Cancellation is awesome…my Mum was playing some awful tinny sounding radio station very loudly (because she’s a little deaf) and these earbuds completely…and I mean completely…got rid of it. I almost dare not use the ANC on full because it’s too good and you are just not aware of your surroundings at all. For walking I usually set it to off, or at home to 3 or 4.
Comfort and security are incredible. Easily the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever used…no pain, no itching (with other earbuds I get pain and/or itching within 5 minutes, so you can see how sensitive my ears are). They feel very secure in my ears and I did not have to adjust them even once on a long walk yesterday…which included me brushing my hair back in the wind with thick gloves on and putting a face mask on and off several times. The touch controls also worked wearing thick gloves with touch sensitive fingertips.
I do miss not having a button/tap to replay the previous track. Press and Hold on the left earbud will advance to the next track, but you can’t go back…I would really like to see Bose make an update to make a swipe function (same as the volume up/down swipe on the right earbud) to control tracks…swipe up on the left earbud to skip to the next track, swipe down on the left earbud to go back/repeat a track. The press & hold command on that left earbud could then be used to actually turn the earbuds off and on instead of always having to replace them in the case.
All in all, very pleased with my purchase and looking forward to maybe some more updates from Bose to add that back track command that everyone seems to want (hint hint).
