These bulbs can be planted from August ’til December and I planted mine in December. By this time, the were already sprouting little leaves and roots. I expect them to bloom late April and can’t wait to see them around the base of my garden fountain. Time will tell, but the bulbs were plump and not dried out so I’m very hopeful. Watch this space…
Very healthy bulbs I will add to my review once they have flowered in the spring
I am unable to state whether these are stunningly beautiful or not – because planting season has just passed and flowering season is yet to arrive.
What I can say is the bus were of good quality and size, and were firm and not showing any signs of mould, softening or disease.
I look forward to Spring – and will update then.
Looking forwards to seeing these bloom.
The bulbs arrived in good condition, all look healthy and no damages.
Only time will tell if they all germinate
Great size pack. Easy to plant will hopefully they will flower beautifully in the spring.
Great price would definitely recommend
These daffodil jetfire bulbs are different from the normal ones that you can easily find in the supermarket. Lovely vibrant yellow and orange. I have planted them down. They are good to plant from august to December and would be bloom in February to April. I quite look forward to the flowers next year.
Seeing daffodils in spring always makes me smile so I thought I would order this pack of 18 dwarf daffodil bulbs and try to grow my own.
The bulbs are healthy and feel quite firm but I won’t know until spring how well they will grow. It states to plant them between August and December and they will flower between February and April. Instructions are brief but it tells you to plant each bulb 10cm deep and 7cm apart between August and December and they will flower between February and April.
I think daffodils are generally easy to grow so I can’t wait to see these cheerful yellow blooms next year.
Well I’ve planted these. All but one of the bulbs looked healthy. They are in a large labelled plant pot and, I hope, will produce a lovely display next spring. I will update my review at that time. I’m intrigued by the claim that they are fragrant – I love daffodils, hope these don’t disappoint.
I’m happy with the condition that these daff bulbs arrived in. They’re firm and not crumbly. They look healthy. I’ve got every faith that they’ll grow well. I’ll upload pictures next spring when the come up.
There are about 15 decent sized bulbs in this pack. No mould or split bulbs. The advice is to plant about 10cm deep between August and December and then enjoy in spring. No advice about whether they can go in a planter but I think they can. Hopefully these will grow nicely come spring.
The bulbs arrived in good condition and look fresh. Only time will tell if they grow but first impressions are good.
Unfortunately, I won’t know if these have grown until next spring, although they are to be planted now.
They came as described, the bulbs were correct and in good condition and I can’t see anything wrong with them or any reason as to why they wouldn’t grow. I will update this review next spring but for now, I got what was described and can only be happy with that. I personally haven’t seen these types before so excited to see the results.
The twelve Dwarf Daffodil Bulbs arrived with impressive alacrity, and upon opening the cellophane bag to inspect them individually, they all seemed healthy and sound, no signs of disease or infection, no soft or damaged bulbs. They were in fact remarkably consistent in size and condition.
There is nothing in the way of instruction or advice, although it’s pretty much a case of planting them in autumn (the package says the bulbs “Best Before” date is December ’22) and watching them bloom in spring.
Daffodils will flourish in good conditions and provide a reliable show to herald the arrival of spring each year. You just need to ensure they are buried deep enough (4 to 8 inches) and they should do the rest themselves.
I think the current price of 8.97 is reasonable enough considering these Daffs are perennials, so will return year after year.
Daffodil Mixed – Spring Flowering Bulbs – Perennial – Popular Daffodil Variety Tte–tte
Well packaged and bulbs 18 well formed
Instructions very brief
10 approx seems reasonable
Planted 9 in each container and we shall wait until Spring
Will update my review then with some flower pics hopefully!
(Hope you found my review helpful)
All the bulbs arrived in excellent condition, firm and ready to plant for spring colour.
The correct number was sent, the bulbs packaging has holes in the bag so had airflow in the pack so weren’t mushy and mouldy and every one was a good size.
I think this pack of bulbs is good value for money, although it is always hard to tell when it takes so long to see the results. My bulbs have been planted so it is just a matter of waiting for the results next year.
This is a good bag of bulbs to brighten any garden in the spring. The bulbs are a good size and none were damaged in my bag. They feel good quality and there wasn’t excessive dust in the bag either.
Clear instructions state to plant at a distance of 10cm, at 10cm deep. The bulbs need to be planted between August and December. There isn’t much difference in growth if you plant them earlier or later; I have planted mine whilst the weather is still comfortable to garden in and the ground is not too hard.
This pack of 15 spring dwarf bulbs arrived in a standard bulb pack with instructions on the back for when to plant and depth of bulb etc.
All bulbs arrived nice and firm and appear to be good quality.
Now is the perfect time to be planting spring bulbs while the ground is still soft, I used a bulb planter to plant mine and had all 15 bulbs planted easily in under 10 mins.
I think the white variety are especially pretty and have a strong scent so I’m looking forward to them appearing in spring!
Good price for 15 bulbs.
The bulbs arrived in good condition ready for planting now.
Of course it’ll be many months before I get flowers. Soil, light etc will affect whether they grow well, so hard to review that anyway.
At time of writing this review, the pack of 12 Jetfire dwarf daffodils was 8.97. This is rather expensive so I’d check around for best value. I’ve knocked a star off my rating for this reason.
This handy pack of a dozen daffodil bulbs offer hope when you buy them! They look healthy bulbs and come appropriately packaged with instructions for planting. I can hardly tell you what happened because they came yesterday and have to be planted and then a long wait follows. So, whereas I can’t swear that these are as described, they certainly have convinced me to make a few holes in my garden. Maybe we should hope together for signs of spring? Then buy a pack – I can’t see there being anything but delight when they flower!
There are twelve very healthy bulbs in this pack of Dwarf Daffodils Jetfire variety three of which are double bulbs. They come from Schone Dutch Bulbs of Holland and as I’ve only just planted them it’s too early for me to review their growth. On the cardboard label are details of when to plant them, August to December for this variety, how deep in the soil and when they’ll bloom, February to April, in time to brighten up my garden after a cold winter. They’re dwarf bulbs and their anticipated height is 20cm so shouldn’t get flattened by the winds. I’ve planted the bulbs in a 62cm long planter and I’m very much looking forward to seeing them grow strong and healthy every year.
This is a lovely pack of mini daffodil bulbs. These are my favourite so I was delighted to have these for my border in my garden. The ideal planting time is now so these are perfect to plant for flowers in spring.
These seem good quality with no damage so I’m hoping for some beautiful blooms, will update when they flower!
This is a good pack of miniature daffodils that contains 18 bulbs. They grow up to 20xm in height so will look lovely in front of borders or containers and multiply over the years to come. They are priced a little higher than I have seen in my local nurseries so may well be best shopping around.
Obviously I can’t tell you yet how these look when they flower, however, they arrived securely packaged and are sound and firm. There are more than 15 in the packmore like 18 in mine. Little in the way of helpful instructions, but it does tell you how deep to plant them, and how far apart. I got these to plant in a pot, but I won’t need a particularly big one as they are small bulbs.
You really can’t have too many, either, as they’re almost always the only plants blooming in the garden during the early spring. Daffodils are some of the easiest spring flowering bulbs to grow, and are perennial, so they reliably come back year after year.
Daffodils, also known by their botanical name narcissus, are easy and reliable spring-flowering bulbs. They multiply quickly and return to bloom again each spring, year after year. They are not fussy about soil, will grow in sun or part shade and are not bothered by deer, rabbits and other pesky critters.
healthy bulbs, well packaged and swiftly delivered – other than – now all cheerfully poking through the soil – about 2″ high – and looking good!
would buy again!
Spring ready!
I always miss the window for planting daffodils and feel so jealous come early spring when they are everywhere but my garden.
Easy to plant with very simple instruction, they appear to be a hardy bulb that don’t require too much preening which is my kinda flower.
I will report back come spring on their progress
These daffodils arrived promptly and at 8.47 for a pack of 18 are good value for money in comparison to the price of similar in the high street stores and garden centres.
I chose this variety as I find where we live it can be very windy in the spring and the standard daffodils get blown over in the wind. I cannot comment on how these will flower but the bulbs look sturdy and I have no reason to believe that I won’t have anything less that a host of golden daffodils-all be it miniature ones!
So this bag of 18 daffodil bulbs arrived promptly and safely packaged. All the bulbs seem to be healthy and good quality and none were soft or had to be discarded. As well as receiving a extra bulb (19 bulbs for the price of 18!) a lot of them ( 10 to be precise) were “double bulbs” or bulbs that were ready to divide, so it felt like I was getting slightly more for my money as I’m expecting these to produce double flowers next year?
I just felt that 8.99 is a little pricey for not even 20 mini daffodils? At this time of year it is not uncommon to find shops, supermarkets and High Street stores with bags of daffodil and tulip bulbs at the back of the shop, (and I think one year I bought 50 bulbs for a tenner?) so by comparison these seem quite expensive. I suppose I shouldn’t really rate them until next year when they’re in bloom however it’s not much use writing you a review next March when they’re in bloom – you need to know now! You can’t really go wrong with daffodil bulbs so I don’t see how these can fail.
