Fantastic little 1500w convector heater, easy to use timer panel or just use in manual mode. Comes with detachable wheels for free standing or can as I did attached it to the wall…..good price point.
You can use it standing on its wheels or fitted on the wall, I’ve tried both ways but it works best on the wall under the window. It saved us about 20% on energy bill comparing to the previous heater. Definitely recommend it, already have few friends and my brother who purchased this and they’re very happy too.
Looks good, gives out good heat. Used manual, not sorted timer yet but sure it will be ok.
Very pleased so bought a second. Using in the conservatory so when it’s cold you need decent heating. This fits the bill and also looks good.
Lightweight and easy to use, stylish and efficient. We wall mounted it was easy to install.
I use this in my home office. I only have to turn it on for 10 minutes and the whole room is toadty, and I can turn it off again! Love being able to control via my phone, makes it so simple.
hey delivered very fast and the radiators are very good quality
I bought two of these 1500w heaters. One is in the hallway and the other is in the lounge. They are LOT 20 compliant and are relatively economical to run. That said, we all know how the price of energy is skyrocketing at the moment, so they’re not going to be as cheap as they were.
Like a lot of these heaters, they are fiddly to set up, so I haven’t bothered trying to set the timer.
I have set up the time and date however, and I simply turn them on and set the temperature, usually at about 21 degrees, when I need some heat. This seems to work quite well for me and stops them from staying on for too long.
My flat is small, so I’ve yet to need both heaters on at once. I don’t like to have the bedroom heated.
So overall, I’m happy and would buy again.
We use it to provide heat in our Summer House, does the job! We haven’t attached it to wall, preferring to keep it mobile.
Bought as a space saving replacement for an oil filled radiator for our dog to keep her cosy at night. The only downside is it needs reset if you have a power cut but overall very pleased.
Having used this for a few weeks now, we have found it heats up quite quickly and had lots of energy saving features. Programmes were a little bit difficult to work out and need time to sit and understand.
The panel is great and we have three of these throughout the house, we have a cold house in parts as some rooms do not get much light or heat given a south-facing garden, you can set and adjust the thermostat and you can also setup timing functions for easy use per day
Very noisy when heating up / cooling down ( metal casing expanding & shrinking) programming to complicated.
This heater is quite good. It has high and low intensity settings that adjust the amount of energy used for heating. The heater can get quite hot and definitely helps to warm the room up. It is easy to move to different places and rooms because of the wheels attached to this heater.
As much as it is really helpful to warm the room up in colder months, there is some space for improvement regarding this heater. First, it takes quite some time to feel the proper difference in room temperature after turning this heater on. Second, the manual is not the easiest to read and I didn’t manage to find more sophisticated settings like timed heating or even adjust the heating temperature. Finally, the heater has a very bright red light facing upwards which enlightens all rooms in the dark. As a light sleeper, I really don’t appreciate this light when trying to fall asleep.
Overall, this heater is great to warm relatively small rooms up it would take a while to warm a larger room. It is easy to move around the house and definitely handy in colder months.
Very easy to use and gives off lots of heat for a small heate
Timer is a bit crude as it only works on complete hours but a minor irrita
This is an excellent slimline heater and was just what we were looking for. It arrived quickly but the packaging was damaged in transit and the panel bent in a couple of places; however this was quickly resolved by the seller.
Really good heater that generates a lot of heat, is stable so not easily knocked over, and seems quite energy-efficient. Four stars.
I found the set up a bit complicated at first but once this was done the heater was brilliant. It wacks out the heat so that my living room is very comfortable to be in now at all times. I highly recommend this heater.
Looks nice and neat on the wall under the window. Takes a few minutes to get the air moving then heats the room very quick. Excellent buy!
I ordered this panel heater for our conservatory, which can get chilly in winter. This heater has everything I was looking for.
1. It’s slimline and can either be wall mounted or free-standing, we have opted for free-standing (on casters),so we can move it about the conservatory as needed.
2. It’s programmable by week, not just by day, which is a real boon, so we can schedule weekends and weekdays easily when our usage is different.
3. It has an adjustable thermostat and has two heat settings, so can be in high heat output or eco for cheaper running.
It also has other features which I don’t need, but others may, such as it being IP24 certified, so can be used in bathrooms, has an auto shutdown and a tilt safety function.
All in all this is a very nice aesthetically pleasing room heater that meets are needs well. At 79.49 it’s a bit of investment, but worthwhile and seems fairly priced when you look at others with a similar spec on the market. My inky niggle is that the control panel is not intuitive, though it does come with a detailed instruction booklet included, but I think it could be more straight-forward to operate easily, so it loses a star for that reason only, otherwise I am happy to recommend.
I have this in our conservatory and I must say for its size it warms up the room very fast! It comes well packaged and you have to put a few casters on to begin with and them your ready to plug it in. It took me a while to work out how it works as the instructions are not the greatest. It kept turning off which was annoying at first but I think it was because it have got up to temperature, so set the temp higher and that seemed to get it to stay on. When it’s warming up it gets very hot, you wouldn’t want children around it at all! It’s not the sort of thing I’d trust to be on when I’m not around but if you want something to warm up an office space or small room this would be perfect. Or even as a backup heater incase your main heating goes down. It has a timer function which I didn’t dare try. I’d love to have it heat my rooms at certain times of the day but like I say there’s no way I’d leave it on unattended.
Overall it’s good at heating up rooms you are using but I wouldn’t trust it left to it’s own devices. Also I wouldn’t recommend it anywhere near where young children may be due to the fear of them burning themselves.
We have 3 of these. 1 in each bedroom and 1 in our kitchen. They heat up rooms really fast. Set at 19-20 degrees. Easy to set up time etc. Haven’t used the auto setting yet, so can’t comment on that. In an all Electric House, these are quite economical to run. Would definitely recommend them and great price too !!
Clean & unfussy style. Easy to regulate manually. Immediate warmth as needed.
PROS
It takes relatively little space, being quite thin.
Very light and it moves around very easily on the wheel (but can get very hot, and there is no handle to move it around so be careful)
Stable on the wheels, not easy to tip off
Silent
CONS
Very fiddly, non intuitive controls, even just turning it on and have it work with no timer takes some pressing and possibly reading the manual.
Setting timers for every day of the week is a pretty involved procedure.
The led light when on is extremely luminous and points right at the ceiling, it might be a bother for some when sleeping. When off the light is less luminous but it is still there.
At times inexplicably it fails to start.
The heater has two settings, high and low. When on high it works at 2KW per hour, 1KW on low.
It should be notice that heaters of this kind are all the same when it comes to power. The cheapest 2KW will make just as much heat as the most expensive and cosume just as much.
This one has not fan, so it is quite but it can take a bit longer to feel the effect, but on the long run the heat will circulate and it is adequate to keep a small room warm.
In case you are wondering, it can be used on wheels and attached to a wall, but it will not work if placed vertically. I am not sure if this is because technically it cannot work in that position or simply because it has a sensor which will cut off power if it is not straight. But vertical positioning is not an option.
This looks stylish and is very modern looking.
It is big enough to heat a small room.
I found it heater up really quickly.
The heater is Eco-friendly and affordable.
The Eco-friendly option will heat up the room slower but it is more affordable to use.
There is a option to have it on the wall or it can be free-standing.
A good heater at a reasonable price.
As far as retrofitting radiators, this is probably one of the easiest you can do. It mounts anywhere, and has a trailing plug to make powering it easy. It comes with some mounting hardware, as well as wheels that just snap in. So you really can put this anywhere, on a wall, on the floor, in a bedroom, shed, garage etc.
The design is nice, it’s super super slim, has some stiffening and mounting brackets on the read and and the plastic feet are a snap fit. Overall, the outside is really well designed.
The little control panel is on the top right, and is easily accessible, and lights up bright. I must admit though, its not easy to use. I had to really read the instructions to be able to turn it on or off, and get over some hurdles of me thinking it was on, only to hear the relay click and turn itself off. I thought it was faulty at the beginning but it was just the timer function turning itself off because I hadnt it set up properly. As I said you really need to read the instructions. One thing I wish it did, was heat upon switching on. I wanted to control this with a smart plug, but when I turn the smart plug on, the control panel is in standby mode, meaning that even with a smart plug I need to physically switch it on.
The first time I turned it on, it smelt like some rubber was on fire. I guess there was just some residue or stuff on the heating elements from manufacturer that needed to burn off. It smells fine now after quite a few uses. The front heats up quite a bit, so be careful of children, or bare arms/legs as it may actually give you a bit of a burn. The rear of the heater gets really very hot. I have it mounted to an OSB wall in my garage, and Im actually going to take it off the wall and put a reflective, fireproof matt behind it on the wall as Im concerned about just how hot it gets back there.
All in all, a nice heater, nicely designed, good output for a small room, just a bit fiddly! Wish it was easier to use or I was smarter, so that I could connect it to some sort of smart device (thermostat or plug).
This heater arrived well packaged in a strong box with good expanded polystyrene spacing blocks. Unpacking it and getting it up and running was very straightforward.
the instructions were not very clear so I had to spend half an hour repeatedly reading through them before I was able to properly make use of the more advanced functions that it provides.
I opted to wall mount rather than use it on rollers and that highlighted what, for me, was the first problem. You’re supposed to press on the Set and On buttons to set the “date” (I think the instructions should have said “day” but that’s a different story…). Unfortunately as soon as I pressed on the set / on buttons, the heater started pivoting down and to the right – this is because the fixing points for wall mounts are quite a long way in from the sides and the buttons are way off on the far end of the top, so pressing on the end of the top made it try to turn. Bad design – the buttons should have been more central or ( as would seem sensible) the fixing points should have been towards the edge.
As other people have commented, the front does get very warm, but I would have thought that’s a core element of a panel heater even though it does seem unsafe if you’ve got kiddies or pets running around.
This is a nice looking heater and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to warm a small outdoor office or workshop as long as they don’t have young ones about.
Very good panel heater especially with the winter coming and my garage not being heated. So I really did not care too much about the size, but more about the power. And this heater offered me more than enough power to heat to my garage at least, for the time being, we will see how it will behave then it will get colder. But if you care about the size 2400w one are really high so it will take a bit of space. Plus it has a lot of features which are a really good addition to this heater. First of all, it has an adjustable thermostat which helps to keep the area heated to the needed temperature ( automatically turns off/on as well ). In addition to what it has a weekly timer which can be useful if you want the room to be warm at specific times through the week. AS well it works quite silently as well so what’s a good thing.
It gets hot then working so preferably keep it out of anyone way to avoid someone touching it.
Overall good heater to use to warm up an area. But it gets really hot so using it, in the room where kids would play etc would be a bit dangerous. But for someone like me to warm up my garage workshop where just me do some works is more then enough.
So, those of us with a conservatory know that they can be a bit temperamental when it comes to the old temperature. In the height of summer it can be red hot, with fans doing little to help, and in the winter it can be freezing cold and near impossible to keep warm without a heating solution.
Now, I’ve always wanted one of those Dyson Hot/Cold machines but I can never justify the price, plus seeing as winter is just about upon us I figured “get a heater”, at least in the summer months I can open windows and the conservatory door (but face insect invasion…) This Devola radiator seemed to fit the bill.
It arrived in the usual large outer Amazon box, but when picked up it was surprisingly light. Inside of this was the radiator in it’s own manufacturer’s box. I opened this up and pulled out the radiator which was astonishingly light, that or I’m just hench.
There was a brief bit of panic when I thought the wheels were missing as I didn’t want to wall hang it, but the legs/wheels where packaged into the polystyrene ends which I had slung into the corner without a moments thought.
The legs/wheels clip in easily and are easy to remove too, but with the wheels the thing just glides across the room. Obviously the footprint of the unit is a bit bigger with the wheels, so if you want to save space then wall mount it (it comes with the bits), as it is a very, very slimline radiator.
Previously I’ve only owned little space heaters with a couple of dials at most, but this thing is like a NASA space rocket in comparison. Adjustable thermostat, timers, weekly scheduler, shutdown timer, sensors, child lock, IP24 certified. The only thing missing is built in Alexa or maybe a remote control unit.
So, onto heat. I found that it takes a small while to get to temperature, but when it does it keeps the conservatory cosy warm. I should probably have gone for a higher output given the size of the conservatory, but it is more than decent. Might be a different story in the colder months, but right now, this is just about the perfect heater for us.
This is a slimline heater that arrived quickly and was well packaged. There is the option of click-on feet on rollers, which took just a few seconds to put on, or to mount it on a wall, which is straightforward and screws supplied.
The heater works on a timer which can be set daily or in a weekly function. In weekly function the timer has to be set individually for each day. It can be programmed to come on and go off four times each day. So, setting it weekly can be a bit laborious, because of the number of setting input, each accompanied by an annoyingly loud beep! The instructions aren’t the clearest and so I recommend studying them a bit before starting to programme it.
For me the largest drawback is the single temperature setting in the programme. Although this can be adjusted manually when in a room, there is only one target temperature so it cannot be programmed with a maximum and a minimum. If the room temperature drops a bit whilst the heater is off, it takes quite a while to bring it back up to temperature. The heater is virtually silent but a bit slow. The instructions are quite complex and the blue digital panel is quite tough to read in strong daylight.
There is also a Hi and Low power mode, but the instructions don’t really give any guidance on their usage.
Heater is OK though and less expensive than other similar looking models.
