These slabs look great.
Works really well at preventing soil from spilling over, no problems at all.
5 stars and highly recommended.
Great price point too!
I got this for a garden project then the bad weather came,
First off this item is made from plastic, they are not the strongest they are not the most durable but they look and feel good.
I awarded 4 stars for this product. I would have given 5 but it is thin plastic and if your not careful will snap and break. I was clear in what I was purchasing not expecting ‘cobble stone’ i knew these where made from plastic
The trick is to ‘push’ gently but firmly. If you encounter any resistance stop what your doing then using the hammer strike the bolster into the ground followed by the plastic spike.
For me they do the job well and look okay, patients is the order of the day when doing these
This pack of grey stone effect lawn edging come in section which slot together, they slot together quite easily and stay attached once joined, this gives you the option to create edging that suits the length of your lawn or area you are edging off, eaxh panel has a plastic stake at each end that can be pushed down into the ground, this works well on soil and lawn, once in place this edging looks very tidy and from a distance quite realistic, overall I am very happy with this product, it is very effective and easy to install.
This is cheap and cheerful plastic edging by DIVCHI and although it says stone effect the pieces just look like the plastic they are made from. The size of each piece is 23cm by 26cm so you can see that no matter how you arrange them you are not going to get five metres of edging — just half of that. At around a tenner for ten pieces this plastic edging is OK for temporary borders, or a bit of tidying up in a rough patch, but if you want a real border then you won’t get one using these and will have to spend considerably more. These edging pieces are simple to use and can be easily stuck in soft ground — I wouldn’t want a lot of them but for small borders they do the job at a reasonable price. Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed — four stars for what they do at the price.
These 10 pieces each comprise 3 stones and in total are approx 2.5-2.6m in length which is a good run but not 5m as listed in the description.
These come in a sturdy box. The pieces have a central spike you need to push into the ground/soil to secure them. They are flexible so you can do a curved edging. The pieces slot together.
They are a grey plastic so are a neutral colour and will weather in I think. We are using them on an edge area where we want to stabilise some soil that gets a bit wet.
Price wise these are reasonable.
Advertised as:-
“Grey Stone Effect Lawn Edging 10 Pcs Cobblestone Garden Border 5M Flower Bed”
Which implies 5 meters of product however each piece measures 26cm making it 2.6 meters in total.
The product is good, OK quality plastic, kinda thin but not flimsy or bendy. It looks cheap up close but from a distance it looks half decent. The colour is light grey which I’m pleased with as often these plastic boarders turn pale from the sunlight.
They are lightweight and very easy to install, the fact they come in short pieces means that bend and corners are easier to deal with.
Nice looking border trims
Very easy to put together but very hard to take apart.
Nice colour very bland .
Really nice spike look length which is relatively easy to put into ground.
Nice length 2.5 m not the 5 on the order page.
Good price point 10 for that finished touch I the garden.
This is a box of 10 x 23cm wide pieces of stone effect lawn edge. In the heading, they say
“Grey Stone Effect Lawn Edging 10 Pcs Cobblestone Garden Border 5M Flower Bed & ……”
DON’T buy this thinking you’re getting 5 metres. Like wot I did. It’s actually less than half of that at 2.3 metres. And to be fair they make that clear in the description. (I think the heading is a mistake).
Anyway, it’s cheap and cheerful. It does look plasticy and it’s quite thin (which might be an advantage if your border isn’t straight). I’m happy using it down the bottom of my garden, with plants leaning over it: I wouldn’t be happy having it somewhere closer. But maybe I’m just a garden snob!
At 9.99 this is decent value for what it is. I’m always surprised at how expensive these borders are, whether plastic or wood (and having a long garden and a tight pocket means I have yet to splash out for the whole garden).
These aren’t too convincing close up but I wanted them for a section of border toward the bottom of my garden, so they do look like they’re stone – I’m sure that they’ll look even better once they’ve weathered a bit. You get 5M of the border sections which is great value when you think that the only cost 9.99, they’re pretty robust so I’m sure that they’ll survive enthusiastic strimming – if you’re after something like this then I can recommend that you give these a try.
These are brilliant garden edges in plastic and look like old stones. Everyone is different so looks really good. This makes a great edging for around the grass or like around a rockery. At only 9.99 these are a bargain in my opinion and we definitely recommend them.
Whilst you’d never confuse this edging strip for real stone, it can look quite effective when used in a long strip. It’s a bit shiny and plasticky-looking up close, but I suspect once it’s got as bit of natural wear and dirty on it it will look more convincing.
The edging is supplied as blocks of three, each with a stake that can be knocked into the ground. They also it together to keep it fairly straight looking. As well as edging they are useful to use individually to stop rampant plants spilling over onto more delicate ones. Again it looks like a bit of plastic in the border but when partly hidden by foliage and weathered in it looks fine.
I absolutely love these. In fact, I installed them the moment I got them and intend on getting more as they are very well priced.
Depending on the hardness of the ground, they are very easy to place and create a clear demarcation between the bed and lawn which is exactly what I need to allow for easier mowing. They are robust and join together by means of sliding slots. The colour is also that of natural stone, so they blend in very well with the surroundings.
