Takes lots of moisture out of air, whilst making rooms feel noticeabily warmer.
This seems to work very well and certainly takes in a lot of moisture. It works well if necessary for drying clothes but is a little noisy on higher settings. Over all a good buy.
Dries condensation from the walls after a shower. Expensive but worth it for the effectiveness. Also dries laundry in an hour on boost setting. So much water comes out. Has solved my condensation issues (no window in bathroom)
My second one, had the 1st 8 years and it’s still going but not 100%
Excellent piece of kit highly recommended
Fantastic piece of kit. Have been using for approx 3 months. Works very well pulling approx 2 litres of water out of my conservatory in a couple of hours. I check the moisture content with a seperate hygrometer and level drops from mid 60s to 40 in a couple of hours. Levels rise again of course but two hours a day in winter has been enough to keep my conservatory dry with no mould or mildew. Wife also loves it for drying the washing indoors in winter. Highly reccomend
Just brilliant for drying clothes and getting rid of damp, condensation, etc.
It’s amazing how much water this sucks out of the atmosphere but you’ve got to keep doors and windows shut tight.
Dehumidifier is excellent does what it’s supposed to do the laundry drying mode is very good collects all the moisture from the laundry and room 10/10
Happy with the purchase. The dehumidifier doesn’t have a modern look but works well so far. It’s especially helpful when the loundry is drying during winter months.
Collecting lot of water. Very good for laundry drying. It also heats the room. No condensation. Damp has gone completely. I will definitely recommend.
So happy with this It works really well. No faults at all Perfection Thank you
This is a brilliant machine and does what it purports to do. It is easy to work, takes little room, easy to empty and smart to look at. The amount of water it takes up is astonishing as I recently had a small flood and it worked wonders.. I very highly recommend this as the one tobuy.
Can’t comment on energy efficiency yet as haven’t seen the bill but worth the cost I think given how effective it is, I’ve been using it with a heated clothes dryer as have no tumble and it works really well, even when the washing machine broke and could only hand wring the clothes – they’re still dry overnight, with a bit of rotation of clothes. Like the settings that means you can leave it on safely or choose how much humidity is in the air. Easy to remove the water tray. Not used the pipe for continual use as house not that damp so don’t need.it on all the time.
Bought this dehumidifier after reading reviews, I’ve used it every day since. I do move it about from bedroom to living room as I live in a bungalow. From my bedroom it collects 2 litres of water per day. I switch off because I am a light sleeper and would hear the fan. The dehumidifier also warms my bedroom and find I don’t need to put my radiator on, it’s below freezing outside at the moment. I’m pleased with the amount of water the unit collects. 2 litres is enough for me to slide out of the unit at lower level. Maybe if I were able to lift more than 2 litres from floor level then I would buy a larger unit. I would not hesitate to buy again.
We bought this as we have been getting very bad condensation in our old house with single glazing. I plugged it in on the Saturday lunchtime and its now Monday lunchtime. I have been measuring the amount of water it has collected over 2 days, and its 7.2 litres (and I don’t leave it running at night). I have put it in the laundry room when I hang a wash out, twice, (selected laundry mode) and its amazing how much water it collects and how fast the washing dries. I have done a you tube on moisture in houses and you shouldn’t try to remove all the moisture out of the house as you will get chapped lips and dry skin, so the machine can be run on eco and its very quiet. If you have mould then you have a very high moisture content in your house. Opening windows in shower/bathroom will help, lids on boiling pans and extractor on. check Charlie DIY on you tube to do simple things to help.
This is the second dehumidifier I own the first one is a different brand and is a compressor type it is very good at collecting water ( 5 litres per day ) and cheap to run but it’s just too noisy and blows out cold air I use it when I’m at work
This on the other hand is a excellent dehumidifier very quiet easy to move around but by far the best thing about it is the way it makes the room nice and warm for a couple of extra pence per hour to run its well worth it you can have it in your bedroom, living room anywhere and you can hardly hear it
I’m sure it will pay for itself as the heating is not on for as long as it was without it
I use both my dehumidifiers but if I had to choose I would choose the ecoai
I put the device on eco setting on half power and it sucked out about 3.6 liters of water per day. I was very impressed
my last ecoair dehumifer lasted 10 years! so i hope this one does the same. not too keen in way you have to do to register the product!
Live in Cornwall which can be very damp. I’m emptying twice a day. Mould staying at bay
Used this to try to speed up a damp wall that had been caused by a leaking pipe. Was satisfying to see the water come out. Very portable, easy to manoeuvre, appears to work well drawing out water, not too noisy. Would recommend
I live on an ancient iron barge/houseboat which leaks a bit, so the dehumidifier runs continuously. The last one ran for over six years before it finally stopped. They are simple to use and work well. I like the fact that you can set the louvres on top so that air blows at different angles … this means that you can use it as a drier if you need to – for us having the louvres vertical is perfect so that air is drawn up out from under the floorboards.
Excellent for dramp and drying washing. Very quiet and easy to move around
