Needed these to work out which rooms needed more or less heat when adjusting radiators.

Got this to check humidity in my home and my daughter’s who has problems with damp. Works well. Bit smaller than I expected but that’s no problem. Also used in fridge to check temperature while defrosting turkey. Only negative I have is battery cover doesn’t have screws so if a child got hold of it they could easily open it and have access to batteries

The Hygrometer reading is big and the temp reading small. I thought that you might be able to change this to make the temp big. All eight had different readings in the same place. Not accurate. Getting refund. Sent back items.

These have been great for us: accurate to within .5 of a degree and 4-5% of each other. The only drawback is there are button batteries in the back, and the closure is really easy to open. The good lady her indoors is super paranoid about the kids eating these (which is really dangerous), so a small screw, or generally more secure backing would be my only improvement. I’ve glued ours, so she’s happy enough now. Otherwise, two thumbs up!!

Moisture is murder. Know your damp. Discrete little gadgets you can secrete almost anywhere.

My only complaint is they should not come with the batteries in because they can run dead if you don’t use them straight away

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCame ready to use out the box – didn’t need batteries (thought they would from the description). All work well – and prompted me to buy a dehumidifier!

Good product let down by poor Amazon dellvery. Left with a neighbour instead of putting through letterbox due to bendy cardboard envelope being oversized. 5x product size! No common sense.

Sonst gutes Produkt.

It’s handy to know what the temperature and humidity is in different rooms in your house when you have so many house plants your friends refer to it as an indoor jungle.

    I like it.
I’ve had less issues this year with my plants than ever before, thanks to these little things!

Each one came already switch on and working. So, How long have they been sitting on the warehouse for? How much longer will the batteries last? Am I expecting too much from something that costs 2?

Great little hygrometers, can be a little hard to read ultra looking directly at them, other than that they all appear to be accurate so worth a purchase.

Good product from the point of view they are very close in readings to each other. Not expensive and could easily save an expensive instrument from damage.

The temperature reading is accurate ( I’ve other thermometers it’s checked against ) . Is the humidity reading accurate ? No so easy to check but as the displays agree when aclimatised next to each other I suspect the humidity readings are reasonably close to the truth . These items do take a few minutes to settle , and if taken from a cold to a hot room ( or vice-versa ) they must stabilise under the new conditions . Just the thing for checking the storage conditions of electrical and photographic equipment .

Mine agree as closely as would be expected!

Bought these to monitor several rental properties with occasional condensation/mould issues
All 8 were within a very close margin of each other, no more than 2% difference. Very good for price

A very handy product for installing in clocks and crafts etc. however the numbers can be difficult to see if viewed at most angels.

WHEN YOU COMPARE THE TWO SIDE BY SIDE THEY READ DIFFERENT AND SEEM INACURATE. PATIENCE GRASSHOPPER. ALLOW HALF AN HOUR AND THE READINGS ARE EQUAL. COMPARED TO A MORE EXPENSIVE DEVICE THEY ARE MAYBE 2 DEGREES/4% HUMIDITY OUT, BUT FOR THE PRICE I THINK THAT’S OK. WELL HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE.

It’s a pity that the temperature isn’t in bold, and the relative humidity in smaller font. But for the price they are okay.

First apologies for late feedback, all round great ideal size easy to ready all 45 are spot on 0.1-0.2 out here or there on 1 or 2 but only because they are 7-8″ apart and I do have a fan circulating air so to be expected they are the most reliable and accurate hydrometers I’ve had to date 10/10

    Cheap reliable compact hydromete

Very pleased with these. When lined up side-by-side, six of the eight read exactly the same, the other two read a little lower on humidity but similar on temperature. We have a very old house and use these for checking humidity in wardrobes and various places in the house than ‘feel’ cold/damp.

They’re quite small but easy to read, probably a degree of two out for temperature as I put all three next to each in the same room and I got three different readings but only about one degree out, for the money they’re fine, ok for average use.

You get 5 and the others you get 4 but cost more the 4 pack is better?? I bought the 4 pack from the other company and they never arrived.. this product cost less I got one extra and they were here super quick.. great little product and super accurate because I checked them against a Ac infinity 6″ exhaust fan and a Inkbird temprature controller and a govee thermometer and they are all spot on.. Happy Dayz everyone..

Checked all 8 items and they were within about 1.5 degrees of each other which was more than accurate for the job that I was trying to do

The strange thing is that 2 of them always give the same readings, within a decimal point or 2, but the other is usually 3 or 4 degrees out, or even more. However they do the job in the seed trays I wanted them for.

These very inconspicuous little units have been invaluable in helping to control a damp problem which suddenly became more frequent in my environment. Excellent value, quick delivery and so handy to have placed strategically in different areas. Excellent all round !!!

I tested these as soon as I got them with the salt test. (the idea is to create an environment you know is 75% humidity and then leave them to settle and see what they read)

After 24 hours, 3 of them read 75% (so perfectly accurate) one read 74% and one read 77%. More the good enough for my needs. For the price these are excellent.

They don’t all tell the same story but close enough for the price. These look as though they were made to fit into a frame of some sort?

  36. Anonymous says:

Thought they would be poor quality for the price but they are accurate when compared to each other and more importantly other types of measuring devices. They are fairly responsive to changes in ambient temperature.
Only thing I don’t like is that the temperature indication is so much smaller than the humidity. Still, its a minor detail.
I’m not sure why there was a rating for “warmth”, so I’ve given them 5 stars for that as I’ve never noticed them being excessively hot or cold

Excellent value and seemed to have been calibrated as all reading the same within 1%.
They could be rather fragile as one fell from a table on to a firm but not particularly hard floor and now has an unreadable display.
hardly the fault of the supplier obviously but I have a number of these previously and those have survived house move and use in a workshop / garage without incident.

OK wanted these to track the humidity in the house (solid stone wall farmhouse) and put one in each room. Had a friend check them with a more expensive humidity reader (no idea if that makes in better or not – but at least I tried!) They are consistent and quick to measure.
The only downside so far is that they are delivered with the batteries connected, no doubt they will last a long time but for the sake of a simple paper strip the batteries could have been ‘turned off’.

I bought a 5 pack, and in the first 24h, I’ve just compared with a trusted weather station. They all were in the 1%rh range, so I considered them as accurate. It has a quite quick response, and very small, so installing on weird places (see attached photo) is also possible.
This housing is good for experience, but not really good looking for a permanent station. It is designed for panel mounting, but don’t put into a fully closed box, because all the openings are on the rear side.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quick and accurate

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI bought a five-pack of these. I unpacked them and left them to settle for an hour and all showed humidty measures within one percent of each other and the same temperarures within one and a half degrees. I checked the accuracy of the hygrometer by doing a wet salt hygrometer test (google to find out how) and it was accurate. The temperature measure agreed with a room thermometer too. So all in all they seem fairly accurate and measure within the tolerances stated.

The units themselves do not have a base or a stand, they look like they were designed to be fitted into a hole in a panel – there are little clips at the end for retaining them. This doesn’t matter to me. If you do fit them this way, the sensor appears to be set into the back so you would be measuring the humidity behind the panel, not in front of it. Bear in mind too, that if you used these lying on their backs you would be blocking the sensor vent and it might take much much longer to respond to humidity changes.

Small, cheap and appear to be accurate
