This product could be great, but probably not meant for most ladies or those with a smaller head. It fit my husband just fine but the non-earphone side landed mid-ear. I wanted one with the dongle and bluetooth, so I could connect to both my cell and work computer. In the week I used it, I did have it not automatically connect with either my cell or the computer twice. Once it dropped within the first minute of a call – with the size not fitting me well, I opted to return vs researching why it dropped.

Brought for work for ease of telephone calls, very clear sound quality, easy to use, I prefer linking via the USB as this seems quicker and clearer when in use, great value for money, very comfortable and good range, frequently walk around the room while on a call.

    *What’s Good?*

    * It looks stylish with an included stand
    * Easy to pair on my Samsung S22 and the Acer laptop
    * The microphone arm is handy
    * The sound is clear

    *What’s Bad?*

    * It’s not noise cancelling WHATSOEVER! Next door are having building work and this set cancels out absolutely nothing!
    * I don’t like the mono functionality and prefer two speakers instead of one
    * It’s a bit flimsy

So far, so good. This is a comfortable headset, doesn’t squeeze my head, and has good sound for both me and the person I’m speaking to. The only con would be that the headband at the smallest is still a bit larger than I’m used to, but not terrible. It would likely not work for a more petite individual.

Mono headsets are a nit niche. Ideal if you’re in a proper office and need to also hear what is going on around you and not be immersed with normal two ear headsets. Assuming that is what you are after then this is worth a look. They are comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a go (which is a big draw) and you can spend a lot more money on sets that aren’t noticeably any better. Charge life seems fine. Thumbs up from me.

I’ve been using EKSA for over 3 weeks now. The noise cancelling is so good that I can’t hear my own voice when I speak on the phone, which makes it perfect for conference calls and Skype meetings. The range is also impressive–I can walk around the office while continuing to work with no interruption in sound.
The sound quality is great and the noise cancellation has really helped me focus on my work.

This headset looks good – the build quality is good too. It is very easy to set up – it paired easily with my iPhone and my Mac. The charging stand charges with a USBC cable (a USB-USBC cable is supplied). The connection is stable.

This headset pairs with two devices simultaneously, which is useful if you spend part of your time on the phone, and part either listening to music or doing remote meetings via the computer. As is usual, when you take a call on one, the music stops on the other.

The headset is lightweight and comfortable to wear – although if you have long hair tied back, there’s a risk that the non-earphone side might get tangled up (this is a problem with all headsets of this design, not specific to this one).

The controls are easy to master – one feature I particularly like is that the mute button is on the end of the microphone boom, a long way from the other buttons so you’re less likely to hit the wrong one.

Sound quality is good, for both speaking and listening – not the best, but surprisingly good for the price.

All in all, if you’re in the market for a good value (but not top-drawer) single-ear headset, this is a very good one. Recommended.

These are quite chunky over the ear headphones. They are big but reasonably comfortable to wear. I’ve used them for a couple of hours at a time on calls and they were fine. Sound quality on both calls and music is very good. Connection is quick and painless, I find them great when watching TV with the family as I prefer to have the volume a bit louder than they do.

Charging is standard and battery lift so far has been very good.

This review is a mixed bag of positives and negatives.

    Negatives

Very tinny sound with only mids and treble. This will make your ears bleed if you a person that likes good quality sound.

The build feels light flimsy and low quality.

    No button for Noise Cancelling

    Positives

Long battery life at upto 55 hours.

    The Microphone come across clear.

    The plug-and-play USB just works.

    USB C charging port.

    Thoughts
This is a mixed bag of issues. But if you use this as a pair of business conferencing headphones, then they are all you need and look okay on a webcam.

If you need great quality audio, then you are going to have a bad day. The audio quality is terrible and a cheaper pair may even give you better performance. If you are like me and use them for Spotify to brighten up your work day then this is not the pair for you

A real luxury set of headphones with great sound quality.

These are quite lightweight and very comfortable to wear, having soft ear cups. They supply a USB Bluetooth dongle (great for use on desktops that often don’t have Bluetooth) and it’s all very easy to set up.

USB-C charging (lead supplied) takes little time and gives days of on-off use. I’ve been having Teams meetings for 3-4 hours a day on average, and it’s lasted a week without issue. The microphone can be kept out of the way when not in use and I’ve not had any complaints about the quality either.

Usual buttons to control volume unfortunately and not a dial, but they are easy to reach when the headset is on. Likewise, the microphone mute is also easy to access.

Great quality, good range and comfortable.

The EKSA H5 Bluetooth Headset is a mid range headset with impressive sound input and output. It’s perfect for home and office use and is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

The presentation is great, it looks like a premium product with a branded carrying pouch, headset and base unit, USB C charging lead, USB Dongle and Instruction Manual. Bluetooth connection to my laptop was straightforward and easy. Performance is impressive as expected from a brand like EKSA. It’s an over ear headset with 10m range, I found this to be accurate and found it to work past this range. EKSA state that one charge will last 45 hours. This is more than adequate for the average working week, and with top up charges between meetings and calls I’ve personally never had issues with the battery running out.

The sound quality is crisp and clear, and the output is clear also. My colleagues have commented that the microphone output is clear and sharp compared to the previous headset I used.

Priced at 53 at time of review (with an additional 6 off voucher) this is a very impressive headset. The sound quality is superb and it’s extremely comfortable to wear. I’ve had other headsets priced just lower than this which are nowhere near as good as this. I’d happily recommend this to anyone needing a headset for work and wouldn’t hesitate giving it a 5 star review.

    Very impressive Bluetooth Headse

I split my week between working from home and working from the office but the bulk of all my days is spent on the telephone in both 1-2-1 calls and teams meetings.

This headset is fantastic at both home and the office but even more so is super portable being both light and compact so I can carry it between the two with no issues, It’s comfortable to use even on calls that last a couple of hours though if you’re using it constantly it does start to dig in unless you have a brief break.

Sound quality is fantastic with all incoming audio being crystal clear and perfectly audible, there have been no complains on how I sound on calls so no issues with the outgoing audio. The mouthpiece/arm is fully adjustable so can be placed closer or further away from the mouth as necessary.

Connectivity is perfect too, no dropouts or stuttering when connected via Bluetooth and the option to use the included USB dongle for an equally stable wireless connection.

The docking station and carry case are really convenient and definitely improve the experience.

My only minor issue is that the headset doesn’t always securely sit in the docking station and sometimes you put it in but it doesn’t link up correctly and so isn’t actually charging. Outside of that the battery life is impressive and a full charge will last a couple of days with heavy, near constant use.

At 52 I can’t complain with either form or function, it’s a great headset and one I’ve enjoyed using.

    Top quality headse

Having previously paid around three times the price, I was nervous about cheaper models as I need headsets for business use for up to eight hours every day, so quality and reliability are key. So, when I received these my immediate impression was of the EKSA’s excellent, solid build quality, equally as good as many, at least, premium price alternatives. The bluetooth pairing to a Win10 laptop was quick and easy and the voice and sound quality in Teams meetings is excellent, event when walking around the house. The headsets are comfortable and, so far, battery and chargers seems fine. I am absolutely delighted with these headsets, one of the best value for money purchases I’ve made.

Excellent Bluetooth rechargeable headset/charging stand which supports connection to 2 devices. It comes with a USB dongle for computer connections. Other features : Qualcomm chip, omnidirectional and environmentally noise cancelling mic with 270 degree rotation, up to 25 hours talk-time, charge via stand or directly into headset.

The sound quality is very good on calls. I wouldn’t use it for music but I have great wireless earbuds for music. Bluetooth pairing very easy, my iPad found it immediately. This headset has solved the issue of poor call sound on my iPad though, so I’m very happy with it. I dropped my iPad a while ago and it’s effected the call volume but not media sound. This is the first headset that’s actually improved the call sound which means I can use my iPad to FaceTime again.

I find the headset comfortable now but it took a while to find the best position for the anti slip pad. The headband is not as comfortable as the headsets I’ve worn when working in a call centres though. The ear pad is very well cushioned though, that’s the most comfortable part for me. The volume and call buttons are well placed for easy access. It’s currently priced at 52.99, which seems decent value for this type of headset with charging stand.

    Excelle

  39. PhillipDickerma says:

Being able to walk around with a headset without lassoing everything off the desk is very useful. There are times when I need much better sound quality and for that I use my Roccat ELO headset, but mine aren’t wireless. I have used Blue Parrot B550XT and they are better sound, but the EKSA hasn’t the connection dropping problems and I love its charging module.

There is a tiny bit of lag occasionally and I have heard the occasional interference crackle, created by other nearby devices, but for handling day-to-day calls, connecting via the dongle to a PC and connecting via Bluetooth with my mobile, I am relatively happy with it.

The noise cancellation appears to work quite well, though I am mostly relying on feedback from others here. Sometimes my office can have a fair bit of background noise and this does indeed seem to be cancelled out. At one point in my testing of the headset I was recording beneath a plastic triple-wall roof in a heavy rainstorm and despite being loud above my head, it was not recorded by Soundbooth.

You might use a headset like this with your mobile when travelling too, as Bluetooth hands free options for drivers rarely have noise cancelling that works. Range seems fine until you get a couple of walls between you and your PC and your not likely to stray far from a mobile, so connection distance here is quite acceptable too.

Pricewise it seems good value so I am very happy to give it four stars.

These headphones are great for working from home. They are very comfortable to wear. After several hours of use I did not feel any pain. They have a fairly long-lasting durability and the materials are of quality. The bluetooth signal is very effective and the audio quality is of a good standard.

  41. RoniVTUgmfbjtze says:

The packaging for this product is excellent and communicates a sense of quality from the outset.

The headset sits in a cradle, and this has it’s own USB A to a round plug power cord – which is colour keyed orange (where a USB A 2.0 plug would normally be white).

The unit can be charge either with the cradle – there is also USB C port on the headset itself.
First impressions are of a well made and considered product.

What I liked about this was the ability to connect to two devices, so say my PC and my phone at the same time.
This is useful since Windows Phone Link doesn’t support Bluetooth calling.

I shave my head, and I found the headset uncomfortable on the null side – in a way that would not be the case if this were a stereo headset with two speakers say.

And I also found that limiting for me too, I would have preferred the option of a second speaker, for stereo sound – perhaps via that USB C port, or by Bluetooth – and a ear bud would have been ideal.

That said I couldn’t help liking this headset. The sound was good in both metrics – speaker and microphone – although as with many devices the mic level reported in windows was low, the headset worked to record and transmit my voice adequately.

If you are in the market for a quality headset with a mono “telephone” like set up – this is worth considering.

    It's a headset. A good one.

This wireless Bluetooth headset from EKSA has a noise cancellation feature which is ideal to use in the home office especially if you have noisy barking dogs onboard.
The headset is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 Qualcomm chip that provides a quick and stable signal transmission. It has a connectivity range of up to 10 meters and it has a more precise algorithm that makes the call high quality. It is also equipped with an advanced built-in ENC chip wherein the noise reduction depth is reached over 40dB. With that said, almost 99.6% of the background noise will be reduced.
Moreover, it has a 270-degree adjustable microphone so you can freely move it during a call. It also has a mute button so you can quickly mute your microphone anytime. This one is also equipped with a built-in long-lasting 400mAh battery that has a battery life of 25 to 45 hours of use. It is widely compatible with most Bluetooth devices such as smartphones, computer tablets and laptops.
I must say that the headset has a very good quality. The sound quality is clear and the mic produces a good quality sound too. It is very comfortable to wear and does not hurt my ear even though I used it for hours. I also like that it is wireless, however, I am not actually a fan of its design since it only has one earpiece but it does the job really well.
Overall, this is a good bargain for its price given its quality and performance. It is indeed worth having.

I use video conferencing for hours each day, so this product got a lot of use while I was testing it. It looks good, sounds good, and feels good to wear. Set-up is a doddle – it does it automatically – and a disembodied voice tells you what it’s doing – “Connecting Bluetooth” – etc. The controls (once learned) are simple and easy to use, even with clumsy fat fingers and minimal brain power. Once connected it stays reliably connected throughout lengthy meetings, and only loses connection if you stray too far away to make a coffee. (A voice says “Disconnected” and then “Reconnected” so you don’t keep on chatting when no one can hear you!)

The only thing I don’t like is the charging/docking station, which is clumsy, unattractive, and takes up too much space on my desk.

But overall this is a very useful and reliable product and I have continued to use it beyond my normal testing period.

I have previously used an EKSA headset for Teams calls and meetings – it was a noise cancelling headset which was excellent at it’s job but left me feeling like I was having meetings in a soundproof room! When I got the opportunity to try a single earpiece headset I jumped at the chance.

Setting this up is simplicity itself. Straight out of the box, find the adapter or link it to Bluetooth on your machine and you’re away. The main challenge I found with this was ensuring it was switched on. Initially, when I first set this up, if I placed it on the charger stand and then picked it up again it didn’t automatically connect which was a bit frustrating. However this issue seems to have resolved itself and it remains connected.

There are two connection devices – Bluetooth and a USB dongle. I prefer to use the USB dongle as this gives the headset longer range allowing me to pop downstairs to make a coffee and still be able to hear the meeting! If you prefer to use Bluetooth, the range is as expected with other devices so no problems there.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality – it is very clear and crisp. The range is excellent and I have used it to listen to music whilst working, through the laptop and again, very clear and crisp. I have received no complaints from colleagues about the reception at their end and so again seems suitable for general meetings.

The build quality is excellent – the base is very solid and well designed and doesn’t look out of place in a modern home office. The microphone is on a ratchet and feels very sturdy unlike many other cheaper options. The headband feels strong and again has a sturdy ratchet to increase the size.

The one drawback I have found is the headband itself. On the smallest setting, it is too large for my head! I don’t have a particularly small head and so this was a bit of a disappointment. I have managed to place the headband so it fits comfortably so this is a minor inconvenience.

You will pay more for this headset but the quality of the build and sound make this an excellent purchase.

This EKSA H5 Bluetooth Headset with omnidirectional microphone arrived nicely presented in the box, with user guide, USB-C charging cable, docking station and Bluetooth dongle.

Headset looks and feels well made, sturdy and durable.
    I have it in black.

Headset is light. It is comfortable to wear even for longer as the ear piece has a generous soft padding.
    Microphone height is adjustable.

I usually use it with my laptop.
It was easy to set it up.

    The connection is very stable.
I work from home, so I have a very good coverage in my 2 bedroom bungalow.

Sound is very clear during calls and without the background noise.

I like that I can mute the mic directly on the headset, it is very useful option for me when my dog barks.

Excellent quality basic headset, works as it should and very reasonably priced, especially now with 10 off taking the price down to 35.99, so I would happily recommend it.

The headset and charging base are solid looking. The sound is clear. Callers said they could hear me clearly. I connected via bluetooth with no problems on a Windows 10 laptop.

At last I can join work Teams calls and not be tethered to my laptop. I also was able to walk all the way out of the room, down the stairs and into the kitchen to let the cat in during a call with no dropout at all using Bluetooth so that is a very unusually good range.

The power button is clearly marked. Other key combinations can be used to control calls, etc, but I tend to avoid using them as I always end up pressing the wrong buttons. The instructions are clear on these if you need them.

It comes with a nice soft carrying pouch, though I would imagine for most people it will just sit in its charger on the desk when not in use.

In case you are searching for it, the USB dongle (if you choose to connect using it, you don’t have to) is tucked into the charging base. I haven’t tried the dongle though as the Bluetooth connection has been more than satisfactory.

All in all I am delighted with this headset.

This is an impressive piece of kit.

I’ve used dozens of headsets since the start of the pandemic, and this one stands out in terms of sound quality (both ways) and comfort.

Being a one-ear unit, it’s ideal if you need to be able to hear what’s going on around you when you’re on a call. It pairs easily with a variety of devices, and the controls are simple and easy to use. Battery life is great, and I’ve used this for a week (7 hours a day) between charges.

    Highly recommended.

This is a wireless headset which basically requires a usb slot in your device to work. You simply install the little usb chip and then the headset will auto connect for use. The headset then has a charging dock which it can sit in between use which is really smart. Adjustable fitting to all head sizes with a nice clear mic and speaker. Really good for our office online call system and we are so happy we have already ordered a few more for the other computers. Set at a fairly expensive price, but you do get a very high quality product. Very happy 🙂

I have found this to be a practical, useful and solid performing headset that I have found comfortable to wear.

Covering the basics, the headset comes with charging cable (USB C), charging cradle and a wireless USB dongle to connect it to the computer. It also comes with a storage pouch. The headset itself has a very padded earpad and the headband easily accommodated my head. The headband held firmly without putting to much pressure on my head, and because I wear glasses, I am a little more sensitive to comfort and pressure exerted by headphones clamping to my head. The buttons on the headset are all raised so are easy to find, and easy to identify by their positions. I do particularly like the fact that the headset has a microphone mute button on the microphone arm. This can be great when you need to mute on a online meeting or phone call.

I found the headset easy and straightforward to use. The bluetooth pairing is a pretty standard process, but the manual does a great job of explaining in a concise and clear way the ways of using the device. Using the headset with a phone is really straightforward. Having the dongle supplied to connect the headset to a computer is something that really makes life simple. I have used a lot of bluetooth devices, and often had problems with connecting them and having reliable connections in Windows, so having the dedicated dongle for the headset makes it a simple matter of plug and play.

I made a few test calls with the headset, and the sound quality on calls was really good and clear. I could also be heard well because the microphone is positioned close to the mouth. I did try listening to some music with the headset, and the sound quality was not particularly good, but that said, this is something that would be used for calls not music. However, it certainly helps with being able to hear audio cues from your computer without having to disturb the people around you.

One feature I did like was that it could be paired with two devices, so I tried it with my phone and computer, and it worked well at this. I could hear audio from the computer such as the software sounds or a video I was watching, and automatically switch to my phone if I needed to make or receive a call.

Overall, I found this to be a comfortable headset with great call sound quality and the reliability of dongle connection makes life with the headset much simpler.

Works perfectly. I like having one ear free to hear my surroundings and my own voice. I can’t do calls with both ears covered. I particularly like the charging stand as that makes keeping it topped up simple. I also quite like the mute button on the mic boom. It actually mutes at the device level so there is no issue with app compatibility. It gives you an audible message telling you whether your mic is muted or unmuted when you press it. Very nice indeed. Recommended.

    Comfortable and works perfectly

I’ve wasted money on cheaper wired headphones that either people struggle to hear me or the sound is very poor. These are incredible. They sound crisp and clear and it’s the same for the listener on the other end. In fact even with background noises it’s still clear and those noises can’t be heard by the listener.
It can be charged on the dock or just via a lead and can be connected wirelessly to a laptop either via the dongle or Bluetooth. It performed really well via Bluetooth on my phone too. Overall a great headset that performs really well and easy to connect.

This Bluetooth headset feels very premium straight out of the box. It comes with a felt carry case, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a charging stand and the headset itself.

Once charged up and turned on, the headset is easy to pair. It just needs to be found in the list of Bluetooth devices and paired.

Comfort wise it feels good. It’s very lightweight and the earpeice is a leather material with padding. It can also be adjusted to fit your head perfectly.

The sound quality of the mic and headphones are good. I’ve had no complaints so far while using for work. I do personally prefer dual headphones, but every call and meeting I’ve had so far has been clear. The power and volume level can also easily be controlled via the buttons on the headset.

At 25 hours talk time off of a 1.5 hour charge, it’s not the best and means charging probably once a week, which I can live with.

All in all a good Bluetooth headset, albeit on the expensive side at 45.99, which was the price at time of writing.

I hope you found this review helpful.

A good basic Bluetooth headset for work.

I got these for my online teaching work.
It’s great that they are bluetooth, as my motion is no longer restricted by wires.
Though the listing says 3.5mm jack, these are BLUETOOTH ONLY.
They are very lightweight, but I do find that after a full day, my ear is hurting a bit, as they don’t fully cover it, therefore do apply some pressure.

First thing I like is how lightweight they are to hold and how soft the earcup feels. They are made of a hard plastic frame that feels durable.

The comfort is ok overall but probably not for prolonged periods of time. I found that the clamp side put a bit to much pressure on the one side of my head.

Sound is crystal clear making them great for voice chatting.

One of the best features is the fact that they are wireless and have a massive range.

This review is for the Bluetooth Headset with Microphone for Laptop, Lightweight Call Center Headset with Retractable Mic, 3.5mm Wired Computer PC Headphones with Mute Function, Business Headset for Skype Office Webinar

44.99 at the time of review.

This headset is brilliant! Buy it.

The cup is comfortable and the band is padded and comfortable too as is the pad opposite. The boom arm has a mute button on it and there are also +/- volume and multi-function buttons as well.

Connecting to Bluetooth was so easy it makes me wonder why it is sometimes so hard. Being connected like this means you can walk about and still keep hearing and talking. A voice tells you it’s pairing and also when the battery runs low as do some LEDs. You can also connect it to two Bluetooth receivers as well!

But the speaker and the microphone — wow — they are brilliant. I used it on Skype as I was walking about. My left ear had noise cancelling going on and I could hear everything though the headset on the left as well as what was going on around me through my right ear. The microphone was crystal clear to the other parties and they said it matched my standard (high quality) desktop microphone.

I also used it to record my voice in Audacity, and again — wow. The volume had to be boosted (but it usually does for voice recordings) but the impressive thing was that there was NO background noise, hum or any other sound when I paused in between sentences (deliberately) to test that as well. Audacity had 2 separate speaker settings for the headset: EKSA-H1 Stereo and EKSA-H1 Hands-Free AG. The latter setting sounded more natural.

5 stars for this Bluetooth headset and I am more than happy to recommend it even if you don’t work in a call centre. If you do — get your boss to buy you a set right away — you will benefit from it as it means you won’t be anchored to your desk by a cable so you can move about more.
