The cameras are excellent for houses of worship. The pictures are brilliantly clear. A bit of challenge for a beginner to set up, but the customer service was exceptional – Ivan took more that quality time in helping us do the set up.
Haben 3 Stck im Einsatz. 30fach Zoom funktioniert toll, schnell und leise. Die ganze Mechanik scheint vernnftig. Nutze alle ber NDI mit 1080P60 in einer Turnhalle. Lichtstrke vllig ausreichend. WebInterface zum konfigurieren und “reinschauen” auch tadellos gelst. Bin voll zufrieden!
We set up the camera so that the audio input is plugged into the back of the camera, which keeps the audio and video in sync, and the feed is over our local network, accessible via WiFi. The power over ethernet works well. On my laptop, I simply fire up the NDI Tools, select NDI Webcam Input, and use that to send the camera feed to Zoom.
The reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the video feed from the camera isn’t working when we check first thing in the morning. We fix this each time by shutting it down using the physical switch, and starting it back up a few seconds later. It’s good to go after that.
I also wish that doing a firmware update was simpler, but it’s not a big deal.
So, I have no experience setting up networks, or working with IP addresses, but I am able to navigate to where I need to go and follow directions, but even then I am still having trouble getting it set up properly. Ivan has been very responsive and helpful with getting setup, very impressed and thankful for his great customer service and attitude….and the product is great too!!!

La configurazione per utilizzarla tramite NDI collegata semplicemente con il cavo di rete al PC e vMix non semplicissima, almeno per me.
Una volta configurata mi sento di dire che la qualit buona e, sempre con NDI non ho notato latenza.
Il problema stato il seguente: ho provato a fare qualche modifica tramite browser ma non sicuro di aver fatto bene ho fatto un reset e a questo punto non sono pi riuscito a farla rilevare a vMix.
Ho fatto tantissime prove riconfigurando IP e dopo tanti tentativi sono riuscito a vedere la camera tramite browser ma non su vMix.
Dopo il reset praticamente si disattiva la funzione NDI, quindi riattivandola manualmente vMix ha rilevato la camera e tutto tornato a funzionare.
Spero possa essere utile questa mia recensione.
Fue facil instalar a traves de cable de red, se alimenta de corriente por el mismo cable de red. muy buena la calidad de imagen, se puede controlar a traves de un programa los moviemientos.
Me funciono muy bien para las transmisones en vivo.
The camera picture quality was pretty good. Hook up was easy enough for basic connection with HDMI. Biggest issue remote only works from front side. Also I could not program the preset. I could put some in but it would not accept some. I needed a simpler system. Guess I’ll stick with the camcorder we are using. Didn’t see want to spend another $1000 to get a controller and switcher. We have an older congregation as I use this in our church so anyone else using it to record the service would be very overwhelming to them. So decided to stay simple and return the PTZ.
I have purchased quite a few of these cameras. I have installed them in churches across Atlanta. All my customers Extremely happy and are referring me to other people because of the quality installation and video streaming of these cameras. The best option is using 3 or 2 with FoMako PTZ Controller and Atem Mini Pro vMix or OBS Software optional.
The PTZ camera operated as explained. However, I had difficulty figuring out how to use with live streaming until I got a video card and attached it through a USB port.
We needed a budget friendly camera that looked elegant, gave us remote control of its position, and had a great image, and this camera gave us all three of those!
It was not difficult to set up, and as a bonus it is comparable with software from PTZ Optics, so programs like OBS are natively able to work with it. We are also able to control it with an XBox controller, which is an added plus since we don’t need to buy an expensive camera controller.
I should point out that you do need more than one camera if you want a PTZ like this though. Moving a live feed is really jerky—and I don’t think that you will have smooth movements with any camera in this price range, which is why I don’t fault this choice. So long as you can cut to another angle while adjusting this camera, it will give you no issues!
Again, great camera for a great price. (We just bought another to give us a second angle that we can also control!)
Hallo, ich nutze diese Kamera fr Onlineseminare einer Hilfsorganisation. ich habe lange nach einer gnstigen PTZ gesucht die ein super HD(1920x1080P50) liefert und sich auch mit einfachen Mitteln (Streamdeck) steuern lsst. Daher 5 Sterne
I bought two of these for our studio. I have them set up using an Ethernet cable which proved to be kind of challenging but Ivan was patient (although based out of China so there is a wait for an email response due to the difference in time zones) with sending instructions on how to network the cameras together. Once I got them hooked up I was amazed at the clarity of the video from the camera. Definitely a great value for the money spent!
I’ve been using this camera for several months in a house of worship — the perfect environment for a 20x zoom PTZ camera. This camera is nearly identical in function and quality to cameras costing twice the price. razor-sharp 1080p images and video. Some of the software made for PTZOptics brand cameras is compatible as long as you make a few settings changes in the camera. I highly recommend the PTZOptics Desktop Control App. Ivan at fomako dot net is an OUTSTANDING source support — he will answer you promptly and clearly. You will not be disappointed with this camera, especially if you take the time to get to know the camera and its capabilities.

En mi caso la conecte a la PC compre un adaptador de tarjeta de video usb – HDMI (HD Video Capture) aqu mismo en Amazon y con eso la reconoce de inmediato la laptop.

La imagen ms clara y limpia es de esta cmara, la otra es de una cmara profesional con lente normal.
I can’t say enough about this camera. We were trying to figure out how we were going to go back into the church building without streaming but all other options were out of our budget. This camera is crystal clear and was very easy to set up. The presets make it so easy to switch angles. I took a chance making this purchase but based on previous reviews, I thought we’d be okay and I’m more than happy I did.
In the beginning i thought this Fomako was difficult to setup. After i seek help for support to get it running in my church. I was impressed with the support and how fast my issue was able to resolve with the help of Ivan. He worked with me 1/1 to get my camera running and we use Wirecast in other to do our live streaming in Facebook and youtube Trust me, no one will disappointed if you buy this fomako camera. We use these in a contemporary church setting with an ATEM switcher, having recently upgraded from another PTZ camera brand which wasn’t working out for us – these are a night and day improvement for not much more money. The big thing for us was the ability to manually set white balance and it doesn’t try to auto-adjust, so you can have RGB/LED lighting scenes changing color behind the band and the skin tone and overall stage stays natural looking on camera. These also save the “focus” setting as part of the shot presets, so you can recall a shot and it’s how you left it, without the camera trying to auto-focus (and fail) every time you change shot, which was crazy annoying with our old cameras. Sometimes the image get a little hazy at the far telephoto end of the zoom, but this is a 20X optical zoom which is ridiculous for the price, and under any sensible zoom setting the image is incredibly clear and crisp. Can’t speak to the streaming or recording options as we run these into our ATEM over SDI and then stream from there, but our team is really liking the upgrade and I’d highly recommend to any churches looking for PTZ cameras.

We are using this camera to broadcast our church services. We have been very pleased with this quality of the picture. We have been getting really good feedback from the congregation about how much better the broadcasts have been.
The seller was also very helpful with some technical questions I had about writing a program to control the camera.

Don’t be fooled by the reasonable price tag. This camera works perfectly for our church streaming and we would highly recommend it!!
