The camera is exactly what you would expect. The solar panel adequately charged the device providing a charge of 100% most of the time. The image quality is great and it was easy to install.
Night vision is great, the light to make night vision go to colour is amazing, the flood light in this camera is surprisingly good!
The added bonus of two way talk is brilliant, on top of this the sensitivity of the mic of the camera is insanely good, I was stood a fair distance away and it was somehow picking up my voice which it was situated inside the garage, I was stood well away and outside of the garage. Great loud speaker on the camera too which is totally adjustable through the app.
The app is good, I have had times where the camera is disconnected, but by pressing the refresh icon that comes up on the screen kicks it back in to life. I have yet to purchase another sim data only package from a provider in the UK, but so far running on there 7 day free sim provided with the camera. I opted for free 30 day cloud storage so unsure if that will hold up. I will need to get in touch with customer service to figure out if I can purchase cloud storage only.
I will also need to purchase an SD card as that will be very helpful. The app allows you to switch between cloud storage and SD card which is very easy to do.
I would like for the full screen mode to still show all options, i.e. the floodlight mode is only available when full screen is not enabled.
PTZ controls are great, sometimes a bit of lag (3 bars showing on 4G), but range of motion is brilliant and the camera has a wide viewing angle. Zoom is there but its a digital crop of the image being shown, so that no optical zoom.
Great camera overall, solar panel does the job, and provides electricity even on a cloudy day.
Great little camera which can be used with 3 different power sources Battery, solar or mains wired.
The solar panel as plenty of cable (approx3m) and the auto tracking work amazing picture quality is 2k with the option of SD if needed. The pan and tilt function is smooth The led spotlights are bright allowing full colour nightvision and the speaker is quite loud which is great for the siren or intercom use.
The instructions are easy to follow and setup and the wireless range is fantastic.
Overall very easy to use good value for money and so far battery life has exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend any Hiseeu product as my other setup is just a good for a budget system.
very good for my needs as I don’t need to pay monthly fees, solar panels provide enough electricity in the sun just my front camera is in the shadow and is the most busy area which means in winter times each 2 months or so I need to charge the battery but not their fault, it is what it is…
I opted for my own giffgaff sim as it was cheaper, setting this up was easy, I just activated the sim via my computer, chose the plan I wanted, then when I tried to set it up with the camera it didn’t recognise the APK details, so I had to do a quick search in the help options for giffgaff and found them, them it worked.
SD is ok, the HD is great, It doesn’t use as much data as I thought, I think it only uses the data when it captures something or you look at it.
I don’t have the strongest signal at the field, around 2 bars of 4G, so moving the camera from side to side is a bit glitchy for me. But I love how I can hear the animals and talk to them via the camera, I think it won’t be long until they are really fed up with me calling them over 🙂
I think I may get another of these, maybe 2, depending on how the data works out over time. These really are a bargain for how good they are, I am really happy with it.
There is also a function to be able to record what you are seeing straight to your phone which is a great feature, you can download the videos from the cloud too.
Night vision is great! If you use the flood lights for colour at night it can drain the battery quicker, but the IR works a treat.
The battery seems great so far, it recharges quickly too, even on a dull day.
I would have liked a much smaller cable from the camera to the solar panel, it’s a couple of meters long and in my case, it doesn’t need to be that long.
It came with tweezers which is really handy, since getting the sim cards in and out is a bit fiddly!
It zooms really well, it can go right in on the zoom, a great feature! The zoom works much better in HD than SD though, although that could be because I don’t get a great signal at the field, there is a lot of difference between SD and HD. The app can be set to HD so it stays on.
Update – I’ve had this camera a week or so now, I had to get in contact with their help guy and he has been wonderful. He seems to be around in the mornings, UK time, he has managed to answer any number of my dim questions. I couldn’t get my cloud storage working at first, but with help from Jason in the help department, it’s all running smoothly now.
All in all, a great bargain, I’m really happy with it. I’m likely to get a couple more of these cameras so I can see my animals from all angles!
I bought this camera for our stable yard. Brilliant security for the money! I’m very pleased with it. Customer service were great, they emailed to make sure i was happy with the product and as it happened I had a question to which they answered and sent the instruction. Great support given! Definitely buy another!
The image quality is really good. The motion sensor detection feature send you a video clip of 10/20 seconds on your mobile snd also save it on a SD card. I can verbally communicate (speak and listen) through this camera from mobile app. During night the camera’s LED automatically gets on whenever there is a motion detection.The customer service is also very good as have quickly resolved a technical issue regarding the installation of SD card.I will recommend this product.
After leaving a review of 3 stars Hiseeu contacted me to resolve the camera issue. I was so relieved as Jason their customer service representative has ordered me a replacement.

I bought this camera in august and have been very impressed with it, so much so that I have recommended to many people. Unfortunately I had an issue with the white LED lights that stopped working, which enables the colour night vision to work properly. I contacted customer service’s and after a couple of emails explaining the problem the sent me a replacement camera immediately. They were extremely helpful and resolved my problem super fast. So bear in mind when you buy this camera not only do you get a great camera, you also get great customer service which is rare and hard to find these days. 10/10
I bought this to use a security camera in a very remote location. The solar panel keeps the battery well charged. The motion detection is good and let’s an alarm sound so people know there is a camera – great feature. The phone alert is also very good so I’m made aware of people or vehicles. Really love this product for both day and night monitoring !
It is a great bit of kit very easy to set up, battery life is fantastic, especially with the solar panel, the motion settings is really good although you have to pay a subscription after a 60 day trial period if you want perimeter settings that only triggers when the perimeter is entered, but what is so good about it it can detect weather it’s people, pets, cars and parcels, don’t know as yet how much that costs as I’m still in the trial period if it’s a reasonable price I will definitely be subscribing to it?
I was apprehensive about buying this camera as there were so many that look and perform better on the market. Having bitten the bullet I have been impressed. The pictures/ videos are clear and have a wide viewing angle. The infrared camera works well but fortunately hasn’t been used much in our back garden. Fitting was easy but no special keys needed to attach it to the bracket. Therefore it could be removed by third parties easily. However, I assume that the App could identify any further usage if it were stolen? I haven’t connected the solar panel until spring but the camera is holding it’s charge well and I think it will last about two months with medium use. Connecting to my Wi-Fi was easy and the App but I found the reception when in situ was weak so had to buy an signal expander. Other devices, phone tablet do work in similar locations outside. The App works well with reasonable responses to alerts and updating the sd card. However, I am on their best service, free for a month, then it is only 7 days cloud storage and 0.5gb storage (as confirmed by Vicohome) even though it says 1gb in there FAQs?? I intend to go on the free service as this works for me. Hopefully the performance won’t be reduced by this. In conclusion I am glad I purchased this security camera and would recommend it as a standalone camera. Time will tell, a few days left, if a negative I will update late.
Simply scan the QR code in the manual to download VicoHome app on your android or iPhone. Register and sign up with the app. Just select Add Camera and follow the instructions. You will need to pair the app with the phone simply by pointing the camera at a QR code inside the app. It will request your WIFI login details. After that its ready to use — it’s that simple! I didn’t have any problems and it was up and running in about 5-10 minutes.
My camera has been running outside my back door all week, the weather has been wet and cloudy and the battery is still 75% full.
Its starts recording whenever there is motion outside. I can scan back and review what happened
It has up/down/left/right movement so I can position is exactly where I want to point at — In my case it’s at my backdoor but also focuses right down my garden. For me this will be great so I can watch my dog when he’s outside or ready to come in at the back door.
It has great infrared night time vision and there is an option to switch on a light which will allow you to view in full colour (at night). I wouldn’t leave the light on, as it will eventually run the battery down as it’s very bright. It also has an alarm feature — so if you see someone or maybe a wild animal you don’t want just press the alarm button to scare them away.
You can also share the camera with other family member’s phones. The app allows for multiple devices so you could have them all around the outside of your house. It has a 110 degree field of view.

We found this is a good and easy camera to use, solid and well made, with a good quality picture. The movement of the camera is fast, with minimal delay, and the audio is clear enough to hear people well (depending on your phone), and you can reply to them clearly.
The app and camera working together can be set up to send a message to your phone when the camera picks up movement. This works well, with the app pinging whenever someone goes nearby. It can also be set to sound an alarm on the camera and to flash the camera’s lights when an intruder is detected. If you have cats or dogs you may need to turn down the sensitivity of this setting, otherwise they could set it off, but the camera’s software seems to be good at detecting if it is an animal, trying not to give a false alarm.
Night mode works well – the camera has the standard invisible to the eye Infra Red lights, but this one also has a visible light that can be turned on from the app, to light the area to see intruders in full colour, or just to help visitors see.
The solar panel works well, and charges the internal batteries fast, even on a cloudy British day! A full charge of the batteries lasts well over two days, depending on how much use the camera movement gets.
The solar panel obviously needs to face south or as near south as possible, and occasionally needs a wipe over, as we found it charges slower as it gets dirty.
As the connector between the camera and solar panel is a standard USB C connector, if the solar panel needs to be further from the camera than the included two metre cable, an extension can be bought cheaply. Also the camera can be charged from a standard USB C phone charger if necessary.
One thing not stated in the advert – this is a standalone camera. It can’t connect to other Hiseeu camera systems, and can’t connect to wifi. It’s 4G only, and with the SIM card included I think it uses the Three, Vodafone or O2 networks in the U.K. but I am not sure how it chooses, presumably on signal strength. I also think this could be changed to another provider’s SIM card.
Working out which way round to insert the SIM card is not obvious, because it’s not displayed on a drawing or in the manual, and you have to use something to push the SIM card well down into its socket. I assume that’s why there is a pair of tweezers in the box. I found it much easier to set up the camera on a table first, and last of all to fix it outside up high.
Using the app in the HD camera mode (rather than SD) uses more data, but is very clear. With the optional internal SD card you can record in good quality HD. The camera can also send video and audio to the cloud, so it is recorded off site if this is an issue with you.
The light flashes red as the camera is starting, blue/red slow when it’s started but can’t get a network.
When the sim card is inserted and the camera is restarted it flashes fast blue/red. When it has found the network and is connected, the light is steady blue. The light can be turned off in the settings so that people don’t realise the camera is on.
This is ideal for somewhere that has no electricity easily available, such as an external building, a garage or a commercial building. It is easy to set up and to fit, and is ready to work almost straight out of the box.
Picture quality is exceptional as are all the functions of this solar powered 2k security camera.
I had a minor issue which was quickly resolved by email to customer service – the problem lay with my choice of SD card [Amazon own 128gb] rather than anything to do with the camera – used a different card [SanDisk 128gb] and problem was solved
Thoroughly recommend this product for hassle free peace of mind security.
Walked 50 yards away from the property and the camera picked up the Wifi with no problem and probably could have reached further.
No electrics needed, the small solar panel charged the camera even in dull light and it never dropped below 80%.
We actually had an incident on the front driveway and it was good to have it recorded. it even picks up someone delivering or picking up a parcel and alerts you.
Would highly recommend this system for any security needed where there is no power, do not hesitate in buying it.
There is also an excellent after sales team if you need them for any reason.

Great quality camera with very good features.
Only thing I don’t like is mine keeps losing its connection to the internet and trying to use it remotely, getting it to pan and tilt is often impossible as the lag is so long. Customer service isn’t great, they just keep asking for screen recordings
Excellent lateral and vertical movement where you can set various positions for the camera e.g. zone 1 front door, zone 2 driveway, set the camera to zone 1 move the camera through the app on your phone to look elsewhere, press the preset zone 1 and the camera will return to exactly where you had it placed in zone 1.
Two way speech, zone entry audible alarm, IR or colour night vision, zone trigger lighting the zone entered, The most important thing to mention is that the unit is solar powered, I am in the north east of Scotland where the weather is generally not great, however the units battery is still showing 100%, I will update this review at the end of January 2023 with regards the battery life but so far it has been great these past couple of weeks with dull weather.

Hiseeu Wireless Solar Battery Powered Security Camera. We purchased this camera to add to our current Hiseeu CCTV system. The fact that we don’t require a power supply to power this camera is great as it covers the bottom part of the garden which does not have an independent power supply. The quality of the picture is excellent in both day and night modes. The instant notifications on the app is a nice touch. Though not required, we charged the battery prior to installing outside and powering via the solar panel we have found it holds a charge far better than expected and tops up even with very little sun. We can’t praise the technical assistance team highly enough with help and support when needed on both this and our original system, very fast technical help and response not often experienced these days, We would highly recommend these great CCTV products.
Bought two of these for our house. Nice clear videos and live streaming. App works well with camera providing notifications with 10 second video clips with option to listen, talk, flood light or alarm. Setting your own multiple positions also work well. Considering the price, I’m pleased with results.
Bought for external house security. Very easy to set up, just need to work out the best position for it. The app to access and control the camera is very straightforward, it gives a great picture of what the camera can see.
This camera works very well off the grid and alerts as when it detects any intrusions. The quality of the camera is amazing and very good one for an outdoor camera which can withstand rain and extreme weathers

I was doubtful about such a solar powered security camerabut it works correctlyduring midnight. No dead battery and it monitors all activities.
I was worried about fox droppings for a long time.PTZ Camera with Solar Panel has flexibility with the location. It helps me to find out how foxes get in our garden and Icould close their footpath correctly.

Set this up today what an amazing solar camera would recommend to friends and family to get one picture quality is so good x.
The only one little struggle I had was with putting together the parts for the Solar Panel (as you can see from the video), but after contacting Hiseeu Customer Service, it was a breeze. In the attached photo you can see in the circle that there are 2 pieces that come in the box as 1, so you just have to unscrew them apart first.
Now my whole CCTV system is Hiseeu.
Easy for install, which I think if you follow few simple steps, the camera will be ready.
This camera is good quality. The best thing that it does not need a power cable, only need sunshine to charge it. For me this is was important, as there is not a power in the area where I wanted to put the camera in. I found having this kind of solar camera will fix this problem.
But I think, first it should be charged full before install it outside (through cable).
The quality of the picture is excellent during the day and the night. I am also happy with the instant notifications come to my phone.
The APP which I used now is much better than before, a lot of improvement had been done since first time I used it, but I still think should more improvements to be done to make the APP better.

I have several cameras and systems from this company, all of which are high quality and this doesnt disappoint either! It’s very very easy to setup and the image is clear and crisp. The pan and tilt works very well and has enabled coverage of all of my front garden. If you are looking for a solar powered camera with PTZ and at a good price then I would highly recommend this camera, the customer service is second to none too!
This is my 3rd Hiseeu camera and I must say they keep getting better and better. I have no idea how they can offer such a good camera at such a reasonable price (my indoor static Ring camera cost more).
Anyway I’ve attached a video with the functionality, so take a look if you want to see it working installed. The solar panel is a brilliant addition as it saved me running more wires through my walls and finding a socket. If you are looking for this sort of camera then this should be the one you get because it’s so much value for money. If I had to find a complaint about it I would say the fact it’s a different app to my other cameras and I can’t add them in the new app, but that’s only a little annoyance. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bought the first camera few days ago and excellent easy to fit and zooms in very well, it was so good I bought a second one to put over my garage. I would highly recommend
Really pleased with this camera, it was easy to link to my phone on the app, and easy to install the camera itself.
The image quality is really good, and the camera controls very easily through the app, which also includes being able to speak through the camera to a visitor or delivery person when we are not in! Motion detection is great for this to alert me when someone is at the door.
Overall I’m really pleased with the camera and would highly recommend!
After purchasing my CQ1 Solar PTZ camera from Amazon I initially had trouble positioning the device as I live on a main road and had huge amounts of videos of cars passing on the road. After excellent communication with Jason, I re-located the camera and now I am able to to utilise all the functions on this excellent security camera to cover the total frontage of my property.
Image ans video are good and it took me les that 1hour to settle it up and add it to my network with the others cameras
I cannot recommend HISEEU cameras enough, I have a number of them, and they always work perfectly! This one is really handy due to not needing a cabled power supply, you just need to make sure that you fully charge it before placing it outside, but then plugging the solar panel is enough to keep the battery topped up.
The movement of this unit is really quiet compared to some of the other cameras on the market, and the preset points, actually work, unlike some of the other cameras that I’ve had in the past.
The manual is straightforward and full of the relevant information needed to get the camera up and running, and the app to use on your phone or tablet works really well.
So if you need a new camera, take a look at this one, or indeed any of the other HISEEU range, you won’t be disappointed!
Very easy to set up, took less than 5 mins including finding my cordless screwdriver to fix it to the building. Great picture quality. Even better with solar panel that don’t need to run power cables.
Very easy to install, and connect to the app easily. Solar panels help to install in part of the garden, where there is no electricity. Robust design with good charging. Alerts work very well on the app.
You can setup multiple positions so that you can jump the camera around (see video) without needing to manually direct it every time.
The tracking features mean the storage isn’t filled up with constantly recording video from the trees in the background.

I purchased this Smart PTZ Battery camera because I was so impressed with the easy and quality of the Smart wifi battery static camera they sell. The purchase arrived within 24 hours and packaged appropriately without the contents being on view, which if you live in a rural place is great because sticky fingered nosy people have no idea what’s in it if it is left on the door step for you.
The camera comes with everything in the box except the memory card which is obvious as this is an optional choice for the user because the camera can be used without it and you have the choice of storing the videos on the Vicohome, at an additional cost, cloud service. I prefer the micro memory card as they are cheap enough to buy and easily installed. Plus you also have the option to store the video on your phone too.
The quality of build for this camera is great and I think a lot of thought went into it, as access to the memory card once the camera is in place is much easier than the static camera. So a pat on the back for this change as whilst the control panel is decreet and water tight, it is easy to find and access once you know where to look making installing and uninstalling of a memory card easy.
The camera is compact and once attached to the app, you have the ability to zoom from one side to the other just by the press of the screen. The recording is so clear and the sound is brilliant as you can hear what’s going off even if the target is out of picture. A plus if you are a nosy neighbour!!!!!
The quality of the images is crystal clear and the ability to zoom in and out does distort the pixels slightly but not enough to make the image distorted to the point the detail in the image is unrecognisable. Even when I zoomed into the maximum zoom level, I can still see detail brilliantly, even down the ear-rings my daughter wears!! Now I call that a good image. However, I am sure their are some tech savvy people out there who will disagree with me but for a non tech savvy security conscious person, Im happy to say balancing the cost of this amazing item against the cost of a fully professionally installed overly technical piece of security equipment, I choose this Smart PTZ Solar Powered Camera any day as there are no costs for installation, no costs for a course in using a dvr and software that is enough to boggle the brain. Just a simple 10 minute installation, a screw driver (and possibly a drill if you are mounting it on a brick wall) and a phone to install the simple app. Plus if that isn’t enough to the customer service is seconded to none that I have used in the past. Really great support when needed.
Very impressed. Set up in house near Wi-Fi router with power cable provided then fitted outside. Pretty much plug and play, anyone could fit. Moving camera position with app pretty much instant no lag like some cameras. Picture very clear. Solar panel even charging camera on overcast day in Scotland.
The picture quality is excellent and being able to drive the camera using the app is a very useful tool when wishing to scan an area.
The camera is very easy to set up using the app and I found the spoken instructions helpful.
This camera does everything I could possibly wish for and I think good value for money.
The fact that it is wire free and still has numerous functions makes installation and operation easy.
