I suffer from pain and weakness in my wrists and hands. It is very difficult for me to hold books, especially hardback ones. I usually read on my Kindle but this can cause pain if I hold it for too long.

This is a great laptop tray. It feels solid and well-made. It looks nice as well, with a brown wood finish and grey fabric foam pads: one as a wrist rest, which also helps to hold a laptop in place; the other is a cushion covering the base of the tray for the lap. The foam pads are covered with a durable fabric material, which should also be easy to clean. The wrist rest is detachable, which is helpful if it is not needed, or if it needs washing. The tray cushion makes this a very comfortable tray to use on your lap. There are some pockets at the back where phones and other small objects can potentially be stored, but I don’t think it is practical for anything bigger. One small niggle is that this tray is too narrow to easily use a laptop with a mouse at the same time.

This laptop tray makes it far more comfortable to work with your laptop or tablet – it’s well built, with strong material and good stitching. The wrist rest is a useful addition, and I really like the slot to place your tablet, so you can be working on a journal, paperwork etc and have the tablet or your phone propped up in front of you. There are even handy little storage pockets at the back for pens or other bits and pieces. Very well designed and made, and a neat enough design to not feel bulky. Worth measuring your laptop to make sure it will fit, but I like that this isn’t overly large or cumbersome, so I’d definitely recommend it.
I bought myself a chromebook & wanted one of these to put it on for when I’m sat on my sofa using my chromebook. It’s fantastic quality & well worth the money. I’d highly recommend buying this one if you’re looking for one these.
Not a very large sized laptop tray – comfortably fits a 13″ laptop and an extra phone. It has a device holder, but I found it not very useful for phone when using the laptop because placing the laptop in the centre would block most the view of the phone. The cushions underneath is quite firm but comfortable.
I really like this laptop tray, it’s comfortable to use, looks stylish and has wrist support which is great. I sit with it on my lap in bed or on the sofa and it’s perfect.
This is a fairly decent tray. It does have an excessive amount of labels which seem to be sewn right into the material stating how it can be washed in multiple languages, but I just cut them off.
It’s comfortable on the lap and it’s not very heavy. The wrist rest I am undecided on, I’m leaning towards it being more of a hinderance but it also does help from stopping stuff sliding off.
If you plan on using a mouse with your laptop you don’t get much room, even with a smaller tablet, and the phone holder isn’t great for a tablet unless you want it in a very sharp upright position.
I’m actually using it for drawing which for that is fantastic! I’m using it less and less for its intended design though. I do feel like I’m selling it short, it’s not actually bad, it’s pretty good really but it is not without its faults.
At 29.99 I think the price is a little high, but then again I don’t really know what one of these goes for. I wouldn’t feel like I made a bad purchase though. If you’re in the market for one of these, then this is certainly serviceable, if a little small.
I got this for me and my daughter to use, my daughter uses this a lot for her laptop to go on when doing her uni work she is able to sit in bed with this tray and position her laptop great on this tray, it has like a bumper on the tray so it stops the laptop from sliding off the tray, the tray has little pockets on the edge and a slot at the top where you could put your tablet, I’ve used this tray a few times for doing my adult colouring on and it was great for that as I was able to use the slot to put my coloured pens in, it’s a great laptop tray that could be used for multiple uses.
I chose this as it smaller than most of the others, and not solid plastic. I also wanted the wrist support. I like to sit on my bed to work or watch films and was aware my laptop got very warm, so it’s a safety thing too. I’m delighted with this-it’s light and comfortable. Id just say get your tape measure out and work out what you need size wise. My laptop is quite small 9 x13″. I could probably use a separate mouse (I don’t usually anyway) but there’s no way my phone would fit in the slot with it. Can imagine it would be great for a tablet. The a lot is for something max 11.5 inches. Not sure why I used old money to measure but there you go!
The item is very light but sturdy, you can spend hours with your laptop on your legs and be super comfortable. The laptop never heats up which is happening very often on other surfaces.
Not very impressed. The cushion on the underside of the table is lovely. The quality of the wood of the table is lovely. However, the table is very small. It has a section to put the tablet on or in the stand which is inside the table. Then also has a cushion which is supposed to be used as an armrest when typing. However, this takes up so much room for my 13 inch. Laptop does not fit in between these two features. It is therefore very disappointing and for such a chunky table. It holds very little.
This is a handy tray to have if you decide to take your laptop into bed and work from there, for a change. But I cannot quite say that the wrist support has a lot of function in this case. But I also have to mention that I have not been using it for hours on end so maybe it makes all the difference if you are using this tray for hours on end.
The materials do not strike me as being of particularly great quality but this tray is relatively well made so it is alright.
I got this lapdesk to replace a much larger one, which was just too big for me to sketch on. This lapdesk is the perfect size to hold my 8″ x 8″ sketchbook, and has a slot so I can have my iPad positioned for reference images. One feature I particularly like about this lapdesk is the padded underside covers the entire bottom surface. My old one had two strips, and my knees kept slipping off the upper strip, making it difficult to keep my work surface steady.
My only complaint about this lapdesk is the rubber corner protectors. They are a great idea to soften the corners and avoid bumps, however they don’t stay in place. Pushing them on, I can lift up the lapdesk vertically and the ones on the lower edge will just fall off. I think I’m going to have to glue them on to make them stay in place.
This laptray arrived nicely boxed. There was attention to detail, in that the corners had rubber protectors to avoid any damage in transit.

On taking it out of the box, it was very lightweight, and the wooden top was smooth with a lovely grain effect. The wrist rest is in a grey marl fabric, which is mirrored on the cushion on the back of the product. There is a slot at the top for a tablet/phone/pens/pencils etc. Built into the cushion there are two small pockets for storage. These would be suitable for storing cables, earbuds, batteries (sweets !!)
Usage:-
Firstly, I tried it out using my iPad in the slot with the Bluetooth keyboard against the wrist rest. I don’t use a mouse with my iPad, but there was plenty of room to have the mouse at the side. It worked well, and was comfortable for typing.
I then tried it with my 15.6 inch laptop. The laptop fits nicely, but there is no space to have the mouse at the side of the laptop. Also, the laptop covers the tablet holder. This is not a criticism, just something to bear in mind if you plan on using it with a 15.6 inch laptop.
The cushion underneath is wedge shaped. It feels firm on your lap, and doesn’t get too hot.
Conclusion:-
I am actually using this product now with my laptop to write this review. I am in a relaxed position on the sofa, and find it very comfortable to use.
The points I like are that it is lightweight, the wood grain top gives a quality feel, and it will look at home in most areas of the home. The cushion and wrist rest are both nicely covered and comfortable.
Is there anything I would improve ? Maybe. I was tempted to say make it a little bigger to accommodate the laptop and mouse, but then it would be less compact. I also wonder whether a carrying strap would be more useful than the two small pockets at the back ?
I feel this laptray would suit either an adult or teenager. I think it would be well received as a gift, and I will certainly continue to use mine for my laptop, as well as trying it for crafting/colouring, as the slot will allow me to store my pens/pencils. This cushioned laptop tray has pretty much ensured that I never need to leave the comforts of my own bed, ever again – all I need to do now is train the dogs to bring me food and water!
The laptop tray arrives with minimal packaging or fuss. There are 4 black rubber corner protectors that are meant for damage free transit of the item but they’re actually quite handy as corner protection full stop (because I’m a clumsy mare), so I’ll likely leave them on!
I use a 13″ MacBook and it fits nicely onto the tray – I can just squeeze a wireless mouse onto it as well but that means using the laptop off centre so I’ll likely just stick to using the trackpad, as I don’t do anything beyond admin/emails/minor photo editing when using my laptop away from my desk.
The design and materials used for the product give it a clean and contemporary feel and the cushioned parts (the keyboard wrist support and the base of the tray) are soft, but firm enough to withstand the weight of your laptop/tablet etc without losing shape.
The angle the cushioned based gives to the tray is enough that you will get a nice elevated working position if you’re planning to use this at a desk/table but it’s also enough that, if you’re like me, you plan on using it in bed or in a chair that you can still work on a comfortable position that doesn’t involve putting any undue stress on your back/neck/shoulders.
Overall, I’m very glad I ordered this laptop tray – and if I can manage to train the dogs to bring me food and water on command, I can eat my grub off it too
This is a great laptop/tablet holder my husband using this for laptop, my daughter for her tablet but I use it for holding my book, it slots into the white but brilliantly and I can rest my cup of tea on the wooden part.

I found this such a handy and well made item. It’s well cushioned and sits comfortably on your lap. The design is simple and nice, the slot at the top is particularly handy for me as I work off my iPad, so it can sit in the slot and my keyboard and mouse can sit on the table, plenty of room for them. It has a cushioned wrist support too which is good.
Really comfortable lap top tray. Very versatile as it cam be used for other things. I’m using it for all sorts, my phone ,my remotes.
It comes with padding underneath so when resting on your lap it doesn’t hurt and is comfortable.
Unfortunately the padding can’t be removed so it can be washed, but it does have compartments at the back for storage.

I think this is a fantastic lap desk, and I found it extremely comfortable to use.
I tried this out with my Dell 15″ laptop, and the laptop fit well on the desk, but it did take up the entire width of it. I think the images are taken with a much smaller laptop to be able to fit a phone and mouse on the lap desk too, maybe with an 11″ or 13″ device.
I have spent several sessions of two or three hours with this lap desk sat on my sofa and comfy chairs, and I found the lap desk comfortable to use, with the padding on the underside being soft enough to not dig in and firm enough to give you a stable working platform. The laptop feels stable on the lap desk because of its rigid top, and the padded wrist wrest helps too. The angle and height of the unit suits me really well, and overall, it has been a nicer experience to use than other lap desks I have tried.
Overall, I think this is a great product and makes using my laptop away from a table or desk a massively more pleasant experience.
The “Portable Laptop Tray” from “HUANUO” is a handy, relatively compact tray that’s designed to be used with a laptop or tablet.
The tray arrives very well packaged, with rubber protectors on each of the corners to protect the wood during transit.
The size of the tray is pretty compact compared to other trays of this nature we’ve had. There’s really no room say for a mouse or anything like that. It’s ok for a tablet, but for a laptop it is fairly limited. Although that might be just the ticket, if for example you want to use it whilst relaxing on a Sunday morning in bed beside your partner, but didn’t necessarily want to take up loads of space with the tray.
The overall quality of the tray is reasonable. It’s certainly not absolute top quality. In particular the stitching is a tad sloppy in places. It is however, delightfully lightweight and easy to carry around with you.
The two pockets located on the back of the tray are also a great little addition. These are incredibly handy for popping leads or chargers or your phone into etc.
All in all not bad at all. Small, compact and lightweight. The quality is reasonable. It is very comfortable on your lap and the wrist rest is in a good position and height for using a laptop with it.
No longer need to find something to lean on with this lap pad. iPad fits perfectly in the slot – so could fit a keyboard of laptop on the tray.

This is a great little tray to use with my 14 inch laptop. Although there is no room to use a mouse, this isn’t an issue for me as I use the trackpad built in to the computer.
The tray is at a slight angle so it raises the laptop to a better position for easier typing and a better viewing angle, and the cushioned pad at the front supports your wrists making it really comfortable when I’m tapping away at the keyboard, whether that be at a desk, on the sofa or sat in bed.
The foam seems to be springy, but sturdy and bounces back into shape well, and the tray itself isn’t too heavy when resting on your lap.
It has two little pockets at the back to store your bits and bobs and it also has a has a recess at the back of your tray so you can use tablet.
Overall, I think it’s a good quality item and good value for money. Happy to recommend.
